Baseball is a game that shouts, 'Slow Down' to America. Stop tweeting, texting, blogging, watching cable news, and obsessing about polls, lost planes, and focus-group-driven politicians. ~ Mike Barnicle
Texting quotes by Mike Barnicle
We're finding [texting] 11 times more powerful than email [for communicating with kids]. ~ Nancy Lublin
Texting quotes by Nancy Lublin
My phone buzzed in the center console again.
"What's happening with this thing?" Dad grabbed it.
"Dad, really?" I didn't want him to see the texts between Dash and me. Awkward.
"He says he knew it."
The traffic opened up, and I went right on Sunset. "Please don't scroll."
"Knew what?"
"I have no idea, and I'm driving. So forget it for now."
"I'll ask him." - Knew what? - "Dad, really?" I snapped the phone away.
Ding ding.
I couldn't look. I was going thirty on Sunset and the lights were synchronized for a westward trip, so there would be no stopping at a red.
"Let me see," Dad said, hand out.
All I needed was for my father to see something about Dash's tongue on my pussy or the way I sounded when I came. So I pulled over. ~ C.D. Reiss
Texting quotes by C.D. Reiss
The international limit on mobile texting, or SMS, is 160 characters. We wanted Twitter to be entirely readable and writable on every single one of the over five billion mobile phones on this planet, because they all have SMS built in. So we said it has to be within 160 characters, all the tweets. ~ Biz Stone
Texting quotes by Biz Stone
Only the guiding hand of the true and uncorrupted Nisirtu has allowed humanity to progress to its current state. The human cesspool in this country idle away their time texting or emailing or calling one another on their shiny toys to babble incessantly about every second of their miserable, directionless lives. It is like the grunting of pigs in pens. They send endless streams of photos of themselves to their slave friends. And do you know why they do this? Because their lives have so little meaning that they secretly wonder if they even exist. ~ Samuel Fort
Texting quotes by Samuel Fort
Not everybody wants be texting their 15-year-old asking how his math tutor was. They would rather be home looking at how the math tutor was today. But it is what it is. ~ Renee James
Texting quotes by Renee James
I find it personally distracting when kids are constantly texting, but they can be texting something that is just benign and just fine. ~ Mike DeWine
Texting quotes by Mike DeWine
John Hughes made a certain type of high school movie, and then it stayed static for 30 years. The only thing that changed was that maybe it was found footage or maybe it's a little snarkier, but the actual language that kids live in today, like with texting, motion graphics, the internet and that whole hashtag culture doesn't exist in movies today. It's left on the floor. ~ Joseph M. Kahn
Texting quotes by Joseph M. Kahn
Since the day that our forefather and mother were exiled out of the garden of Eden, we've been lost, trying to get back in, trying to find oneness with each other and the Lord, trying to find communion, our way home. We've been trying to be found. The truth is that without Christ, we are utterly alone, and our attempts to fill our hours with goodies or texting or work or even ministry are simply futile attempts to assure ourselves that things aren't so bad after all. But at the end of the day, in the middle of the night, and at the end of our lives, without the love and work of Jesus Christ, the God-man, we are alone and we know it - and it terrifies us. Every one of us is standing on that darkened stage, condemned, lost and wandering, needing to be found. ~ Elyse M. Fitzpatrick
Texting quotes by Elyse M. Fitzpatrick
The boy in the closet is your boyfriend. He loves you and will tell you all about last night. ~ Cat Patrick
Texting quotes by Cat Patrick
Last but not least, My family. My brother Tony, I love you. Thank you for beating me up when I was a kid. I always wanted to follow in your footsteps. I pray for you every night. You've taught me to feel confident in myself, Believe in myself; That I can do it, When I didn't think I could do it. It's been an up and down road for all of us, But you were always been there supporting from afar. Texting me Bible verses every single day. Telling me you love me every single day. And that builds me up. And I thank you so much. I love you. I'm just glad you're a part of this journey with us. ~ Kevin Durant
Texting quotes by Kevin Durant
Mek sat in the cab, doing some self-maintenance work. Instead of a verbal reply, I got a text message: SYLVATRONICS INDUSTRIAL UNIT A023 PROCESSING AN REINTEGRATION WILL BE COMPLETE IN 57 SECONDS. VERBAL COMMUNICATIONS WILL BE POSSIBLE IN ABOUT 65 SECONDS.

Oh well, I've caught rookie driving partners in the middle of all sorts of things. At least with robots you don't have to guess. ~ Paul Carlson
Texting quotes by Paul Carlson
What r u doing now?
I'm beating my dad at poker.
Picturing him with his family, I smiled.
Getting ready for bed.
Wish I was there.
My eyes widened. What the what?
Wait r u naked?
No!!! I sent back. Perv.
Damn, At least I have my imagination.
That's all you will ever have.
We'll c.
No you won't. ~ Jennifer L. Armentrout
Texting quotes by Jennifer L. Armentrout
There are moments of opportunity for families; moments they need to put technology away. These include: no phones or texting during meals. No phones or texting when parents pick up children at school - a child is looking to make eye contact with a parent! ~ Sherry Turkle
Texting quotes by Sherry Turkle
motivation for not eating meat and dairy is to maintain optimal health, not to rid myself of the obsession and compulsion that are the hallmark of addiction. If obsession and compulsion are the issue - smoking cigarettes, not being able to stop texting your toxic ex, self-harm - and you want to get past it, you need a Bright Line. If health is your objective, there is no evidence that perfect is better than "really good." Seriously. You can comply with a health goal 95 percent of the time, and it will benefit you as much as 100 percent perfection. ~ Susan Peirce Thompson
Texting quotes by Susan Peirce Thompson
I live in England, so I take a lot of trains, and you can't really go anywhere without somebody talking on their mobile phone behind you, forcing you to listen to their conversation. With the Internet, with texting, with networking sites, there's already information everywhere. ~ Patrick Ness
Texting quotes by Patrick Ness
Truthfully she felt incredibly miserable, seeing university students and tourists bustling in and out of the place with their cell phones in hand, texting like there was no tomorrow. Living behind a screen, they'd likely text with their last breath. ~ Rebecca McNutt
Texting quotes by Rebecca McNutt
We'll talk later.

You don't understand. I have to talk now. I'll keep texting you. I can't help myself.

And I'll read every one. ~ Laurelin Paige
Texting quotes by Laurelin Paige
A text comes from Wallace.

An actual text too, not a message through the forum app. I gave him my number awhile back, before Halloween, but not because I wanted him to call me or anything. I wrote it on the edge of our conversation paper in homeroom and slid it over to him because sometimes I see something and think, Wallace would laugh at that, I should send him a picture of it, but the messaging app is terrible with pictures and texting is way better.

So he texts me now, and it's a picture. A regular sweet potato pie. Beneath the picture, he says, I really like sweet potato pie.

I text back, Yeah, so do I.

Then he sends me a picture of his face, frowning, and says, No, you don't understand.

Then another picture, closer, just his eyes. I REALLY like sweet potato pie.

A series of pictures comes in several-second intervals. The first is a triangular slice of pie in Wallace's hand. Then Wallace holding that slice up to his face - it's soft enough to start collapsing between his fingers. The next one has him stuffing the slice into his mouth, and in the final one it's all the way in, his cheeks are puffed out like a chipmunk's, and he's letting his eyes roll back like it's the best thing he's ever eaten.

I purse my lips to keep my laugh in, but my parents are fine-tuned to the slightest hint of amusement from me, and they both look up.

"What's so funny, Eggs?" Dad says.

"Nothing," ~ Francesca Zappia
Texting quotes by Francesca Zappia
There's a completely new culture out there. I'm not a participant of texting and driving - or texting at all - but I see there's something going on in civilization which is coming with great vehemence at us. ~ Werner Herzog
Texting quotes by Werner Herzog
If I worked at White Globe Consulting, I wouldn't be able to do my job. I would spend all day texting the other people in the office, asking them what was going on today and had they heard anything new and what did they think was going to happen.
Hmm. Maybe it's a good thing I'm not in an office job. ~ Sophie Kinsella
Texting quotes by Sophie Kinsella
Love is such a cruel thing. One minute you've been texting them for hours, hoping he'll ask you ask on a date, or just telling you how he feels about you. Next minute, he's saying the stupid, "No it's me not you. We can just be friends." While I'm crying my eyes out hoping you may take me back. Cause I don't want to be friends. ~ Felisha Rush
Texting quotes by Felisha Rush
Human relationships are rich and they're messy and they're demanding. And we clean them up with technology. Texting, email, posting, all of these things let us present the self as we want to be. We get to edit, and that means we get to delete, and that means we get to retouch, the face, the voice, the flesh, the body
not too little, not too much, just right. ~ Sherry Turkle
Texting quotes by Sherry Turkle
You have not had any privacy since the first day you owned your first cell phone. They can track everything. They can hear recordings of anything you have ever said on your cell. And read everything you ever read, and everything you ever typed. And see every location you've ever been to. That's just how cells work. Your privacy is a willful illusion. ~ Oliver Markus Malloy
Texting quotes by Oliver Markus Malloy
We've been texting for weeks. Surely it's rather like in Jane Austen's day when they did letter-writing for months and months and then just, like, immediately got married?'
'Bridget. Sleeping with a twenty-nine-year-old off Twitter on the second date is not "rather like Jane Austen's day". ~ Helen Fielding
Texting quotes by Helen Fielding
Who would know but ten years ago that kids would be texting each other all the time, that that would be one of their main forms of communication. And so many times, these kids know more about the technology than their parents. And so many times, we're putting kids in very adult situations and expecting them to behave like they're 40 years old. ~ Amy Klobuchar
Texting quotes by Amy Klobuchar
I look around, pretty much 100% of the people driving are texting. And they're killing, everybody's murdering each other with their cars. But people are willing to risk taking a life and ruining their own because they don't want to be alone for a second because it's so hard. ~ Louis C.K.
Texting quotes by Louis C.K.
It's hard to see what the problem is. Language speakers and writers have always been inventive, and texting is just one further example of human creativity. As David Crystal has expressed it: 'it..is the latest manifestation of the human ability to be linguistically creative... In texting, we are seeing, in a small way, language in evolution... ~ Jean Aitchison
Texting quotes by Jean Aitchison
My husband is in charge of all phone, email and texting duties at home. He even has to turn on the TV and air conditioning because I'm so hopeless with technology. ~ Becki Newton
Texting quotes by Becki Newton
I'd rather fiddle with my phone for precious seconds than neglect an apostrophe; I'd rather insert a word laboriously keyed out than resort to predictive texting for a - acceptable to some - synonym. ~ Will Self
Texting quotes by Will Self
It's even more awkward when we're face to face with people. It used to be exciting to make plans with friends because you could sit and catch up and talk about what's been going on in your lives. Now when you see someone there's nothing left to say. You've already seen the pictures from their trip to Rio on Facebook. You've read their tweets about the latest diet they're on. And they already texted you about the pregnancy scare. So you end up just sitting and staring at each other until you both start texting other people. ~ Ellen DeGeneres
Texting quotes by Ellen DeGeneres
As someone who sends texts messages more or less non-stop, I enjoy one particular aspect of texting more than anything else: that it is possible to sit in a crowded railway carriage laboriously spelling out quite long words in full, and using an enormous amount of punctuation, without anyone being aware of how outrageously subversive I am being. ~ Lynne Truss
Texting quotes by Lynne Truss
As for tweeting and texting: impassioned discussions, particularly when they're intimate, don't work in abbreviated script messages. No relationship should begin or end in 140 characters. ~ Mariella Frostrup
Texting quotes by Mariella Frostrup
If the content of your speech is not authentic, talking or texting on a device doesn't mean you're communicating with another person. ~ Thich Nhat Hanh
Texting quotes by Thich Nhat Hanh
People have entire relationships via text message now, but I am not partial to texting. I need context, nuance and the warmth and tone that can only come from a human voice. ~ Danielle Steel
Texting quotes by Danielle Steel
Also, because people like to multitask, in a way if you've got a bit of music on in the background and the lyrical content is making you want to listen to it, then that would probably put you off the texting you wanted to do. I think people like things that just make that right kind of noise, but leave your brain free to do something else. ~ Jarvis Cocker
Texting quotes by Jarvis Cocker
We inculcate in our children the sensibilities of raccoons, a fascination with shiny objects and an appetite for garbage, and then carp about 'the texting generation' as if thirteen- and fourteen-year-olds who couldn't boil an egg are capable of creating a culture. They grow on what we feed them. It has never been otherwise. The only thing that changes is the food. ~ Garret Keizer
Texting quotes by Garret Keizer
The movement toward estrangement - from each other, and from themselves - took place in far smaller, subtler steps. They were always becoming closer in the realm of doing - coordinating the ever-expanding routines, talking and texting more (and more efficiently), cleaning together the mess made by the children they made - and farther in feeling. Once, ~ Jonathan Safran Foer
Texting quotes by Jonathan Safran Foer
Texting has reduced the number of waste words, but it has also exposed a black hole of ignorance about traditional - what a cranky guy would call correct - grammar. ~ Richard Corliss
Texting quotes by Richard Corliss
My hands are way too big to text. I'd need short hand for my hands. -Foot to Pad ~ Ray Palla
Texting quotes by Ray Palla
Everybody is continuously connected to everybody else on Twitter, on Facebook, on Instagram, on Reddit, e-mailing, texting, faster and faster, with the flood of information jeopardizing meaning. Everybody's talking at once in a hypnotic, hyper din: the cocktail party from hell. ~ Maureen Dowd
Texting quotes by Maureen Dowd
I just started to put texting and phones in my books. I want my books to be read 20 years from now; I don't want them to be dated. ~ Sarah Dessen
Texting quotes by Sarah Dessen
Texting is a supremely secretive medium of communication - it's like passing a note - and this means we should be very careful what we use it for. ~ Lynne Truss
Texting quotes by Lynne Truss
The women you've slept with, the ones you never did but primed for a future encounter, the ones who seemed interested but then suddenly stopped texting: Unless you do something horribly wrong, they never completely disappear. A lonely night, a cheating boyfriend, a sudden breakup, an attack of low self-esteem, an attack of high self-esteem - anything can, out of the blue, send them scrolling through their address book looking for validation, for security, for conversation, for adoration, for the fantasy of you filling some empty space in her life. ~ Neil Strauss
Texting quotes by Neil Strauss
I used to call people, then I got into e-mailing, then texting, and now I just ignore everyone. ~ Ayn Rand
Texting quotes by Ayn Rand
Please be careful of becoming so immersed and engrossed in pixels, texting, ear buds, Twittering, online social networking, and potentially addictive uses of media and the Internet that you fail to recognize the importance of your physical body and miss the richness of person-to-person communication. Beware of the digital displays and data in many forms of computer-mediated interaction that can displace the full range of physical capacity and experience. ~ David A. Bednar
Texting quotes by David A. Bednar
I meant to text quickly, but it took five attempts to type with my thumbs. Ever since the time I accidentally told Wick I'd stopped for cocaine instead of coffee and when Mel, my best friend, asked me to get penis instead of pedis, I lost my faith in technology and proofread all my messages ~ J.C. McKenzie
Texting quotes by J.C. McKenzie
Never let go of your appetite to go after new ideas, new experiences, and new adventures. Compete with yourself, not with others. Judge yourself on what is your personal best and you'll accomplish more than you could ever have imagined. Life stops for no one, so keep moving. Stay awake and stay alive. There's no AutoCorrect in life - think before texting the universe. Breaking the rules just for fun is too easy - the real challenge lies in perfecting the art of knowing which rules to accept and which to rewrite. The more you experiment, take risks, and make mistakes, the better you'll know yourself, the better you'll know the world, and the more focused you'll be. ~ Sophia Amoruso
Texting quotes by Sophia Amoruso
I don't think people realize the risks they face every time they create a text, or post on a social network. Unless you expressly make the effort, everything you do online, including texting, has a shelf life of forever. ~ Mark Cuban
Texting quotes by Mark Cuban
I am always texting! ~ Kiernan Shipka
Texting quotes by Kiernan Shipka
Was that semi-colon some kind of flirty wink or just bad punctuation? ~ Azadeh Aalai
Texting quotes by Azadeh Aalai
It seemed like so much of romantic relationships today have to do when the people are not in the same room. Whether it's texting or emailing or Facebooking, there's a kind of distance between the participants. I think it's sort of shifted the energy of that first romantic meeting, where it's quicker, perhaps more desperate, more energetic, in a whole different way, and it's resulted in a situation where people seem to be sometimes more comfortable having a sexual relationship than an emotional one. ~ Ivan Reitman
Texting quotes by Ivan Reitman
night, I think I can hear the stars scraping against the sky. That's how quiet it is. After a while it's almost more than I can stand. I want to scream at the top of my lungs. I want to sing, shout, stamp my feet, clap my hands, anything to declare my presence. My conversation with the soldier had been the first words I'd said aloud in weeks. The Hum died on the tenth day after the Arrival. I was sitting in third period texting Lizbeth the last text I ~ Rick Yancey
Texting quotes by Rick Yancey
Why the hell don't kids call their parents anymore? Why don't they answer their phones? Why all this crazy texting shit? ~ David Baldacci
Texting quotes by David Baldacci
Calling is for # Men - Texting is for # Teenagers . ~ Patti Stanger
Texting quotes by Patti Stanger
What's proper workplace etiquette for picking up computer and tossing out window? Open window first or break glass? ~ Abigail Roux
Texting quotes by Abigail Roux
A lot of times I think the cast members, the lead characters in a show really set the tone for the show. On some shows, the stars of the show will just be whining and complaining and spending the whole time texting their boyfriends on their Blackberries, and there's just no attention given to the work. ~ Misha Collins
Texting quotes by Misha Collins
A new beer with sweat running down the sides slides into view and Pigpen sidles up beside me grinning like a crazy man. "Everyone's dying to know who you're texting with. It's like you're a twelve-year-old girl chained to that damn cell. Have you started your period yet? ~ Katie McGarry
Texting quotes by Katie McGarry
Middlestein thought texting was the same as Morse code, and the more people texted, the closer American came to being a nation at war. ~ Jami Attenberg
Texting quotes by Jami Attenberg
I sent a quick text to Adrian: I have a hickey! You can't ever kiss me again. I honestly hadn't expected him to be awake this early, so I was surprised to get a response: Okay. I won't kiss you on your neck again.
So typical of him. No! You can't ever kiss me ANYWHERE. You said you were going to keep your distance.
I'm trying, he wrote back. But you won't keep your distance from me.
I didn't dignify that with a response. ~ Richelle Mead
Texting quotes by Richelle Mead
You have nothing if you're texting a guy in a relationship. We can text six women a minute. We can text it and push 'reply all.' I mean, since we're lying, we might as well lie to everybody. ~ Steve Harvey
Texting quotes by Steve Harvey
Scott Brooks you mean the world to me. I love you. You as a man, I never met anybody like you. So selfless. You don't take the credit for nothing, Even though you deserve all of it. I love you and your family for always taking me in, Believing in me, Texting me late at night when I was going crazy. Thank you. Thank you. ~ Kevin Durant
Texting quotes by Kevin Durant
I pulled out my phone as I hurried along and texted Abby, U OK? I had to stop while I texted because I am not a teenager. ~ Chris Fabry
Texting quotes by Chris Fabry
Now we're e-mailing and tweeting and texting so much, a phone call comes as a fresh surprise. I get text messages on my cell phone all day long, and it warbles to alert me that someone has sent me a message on Facebook or a reply or direct message on Twitter, but it rarely ever rings. ~ Susan Orlean
Texting quotes by Susan Orlean
I thought you were going to CALL me? I call this texting ;-)

The reply came back within seconds:

I find it easier to take rejection in writing... ~ Karen Mahoney
Texting quotes by Karen Mahoney
Erin: We get to beat the shit outta guys in those big puffy suits!!! I've always wanted to really kick the crap outta some guy's nuts. Now I can do it guilt-free!
Me: You're a sick girl.
Erin: Guilty as charged. ~ Tammara Webber
Texting quotes by Tammara Webber
...when we "lose our mind" and "come to our senses" in the fullest possible way, the chattering, texting, e-mailing, twittering mind will eventually quiet down and almost silence itself. This is a sacred and connected silence...It's like a deep, still pond reflecting the stars of the night sky. I believe this is the baseline for human consciousness, and I'm convinced that the birds are the best mentors in the natural world for bringing us to it. ~ Jon Young
Texting quotes by Jon Young
Because you can text while doing something else, texting does not seem to take time but to give you time. This is more than welcome; it is magical. ~ Sherry Turkle
Texting quotes by Sherry Turkle
I'm not good at texting because I'm an older generation, old school. And nobody ever listens to the answering machine anymore. It's terrible. ~ Igor Levit
Texting quotes by Igor Levit
I have a file in my phone that I'm always adding things to. People accuse me of texting too much but nine times out of ten, I'm not texting anyone. I'm recording ideas. ~ Alistair Cross
Texting quotes by Alistair Cross
I've lost friends over texting because I'm so bad at it. ~ Andre Holland
Texting quotes by Andre Holland
How often have you heard people brag about what great multi-taskers they are? Perhaps you've made the same boast yourself. You might even have heard that members of "Gen Y" are natural multi-taskers, having lived their whole lives constantly switching their attention from texting to IMing to Facebooking to watching TV - all supposedly without missing a beat. We even see training classes designed to teach managers how best to multi-task their Gen Y staff, the implication being that asking someone to focus on a single task through to completion has now become ridiculously old-fashioned for, if not downright heretical to, the new world order.

Don't believe it. ~ Michael Hannan
Texting quotes by Michael Hannan
Anything that you can become obsessed with, and you do so much that you don't do the things you need to do with family, friends, school, job - that can be an addiction. And texting absolutely can qualify. ~ Dale Archer
Texting quotes by Dale Archer
Although, as you well know, dictionary sales to laymen have been waning for a long time. As books have gone out of print and we've moved from reading to "consuming data streams," "texting" rather than writing - as Memes have become king - the average consumer has had much less need for real meanings. And Synchronic ~ Alena Graedon
Texting quotes by Alena Graedon
They say man he reading rhymes off his iPhone, no I texting your girl meet me at my home ~ Troy Ave
Texting quotes by Troy Ave
I would absolutely love to go back to the simplicity of the '80s, where there wasn't texting, social media, iPhones, or smartphones. I love the fact that you would go home and check your messages. I'm not well suited to the world of modern technology. ~ Matthew Rhys
Texting quotes by Matthew Rhys
Ellie, I came back early because I was driving everyone around me crazy. When I wasn't texting you or talking to you, I was talking about you, and thinking about you, and wondering about you ... you get the idea. ~ Autumn Doughton
Texting quotes by Autumn Doughton
Thank you, Texting, for ensuring that, if executed well, I'll never have to talk on the phone again in my life. This is like a stay of execution for introverts. I'd also like to take this time to thank Emojis, for helping me express my innermost feelings via cats, crying cats, devil cats, and women dressed up as cats. You really "get" me. However, I would take a lovesick cat over talking words every day of the week. (Fist bump!) ~ Jen Hatmaker
Texting quotes by Jen Hatmaker
Much of romantic relationships today have to do when the people are not in the same room. Whether it's texting or e-mailing or Facebooking, there's a kind of distance between the participants. ~ Ivan Reitman
Texting quotes by Ivan Reitman
Evidence my 14yr old daughter is geek-literate: In lieu of OK, one might type K while texting. She instead typed "Potassium". ~ Neil DeGrasse Tyson
Texting quotes by Neil DeGrasse Tyson
I think life is a lot different for alternative kids nowadays. Texting and the internet mean that being a Goth or something means you're part of a big social scene, it's an inclusive thing. Back then, we all just went our different ways in the afterglow, wishing each other all the best with the next ten years of bullying. ~ Frankie Boyle
Texting quotes by Frankie Boyle
SUPPORT LITERACY! A child who cannot read cannot text. ~ Ron Brackin
Texting quotes by Ron Brackin
Texting is a lot like an answering machine. If you don't want to talk to somebody, it's like screening your calls. To me, it's a way of communication, but not one that I favor. ~ Pat Gillick
Texting quotes by Pat Gillick
When texting begins to take the place of substantive in-person conversations for any of us, we are training the language and speech centers of our brain for a new, unnatural, and superficial model of connection. When that training starts early, as it does now for young texters, they get so used to it at such a young age that, unlike the newborn baby who innately knows something is missing and complains about it, our older tech-trained children don't even know what they have lost. ~ Catherine Steiner-Adair
Texting quotes by Catherine Steiner-Adair
It made me wonder, if everyone is so connected to their phones-talking and texting and whatever else it is they do all day long-how do they ever have time to notice the beauty of God's creation all around them? How do they have time to connect to God? ~ Melody Carlson
Texting quotes by Melody Carlson
Technology has just passed our survival instinct, and the country is spinning on a stationary existential axis of make-believe importance: We text about a Tweet of a YouTube video posted on Facebook with a clip of Glee about not texting that we just texted about. Instead of actual life, we're now living an air-guitar version of life. ~ Tim Dorsey
Texting quotes by Tim Dorsey
Hello, I'm Stan and I'm a textaholic I am powerless over my thumbs ~ Stanley Victor Paskavich
Texting quotes by Stanley Victor Paskavich
The very definition of what it means to be alone has changed. To be physically alone is still relatively easy, but many of us struggle daily to turn off e-mail, computers, or cell phones... Our students...find requests not to text during these activities strange, annoying, and downright silly. ~ Jose Antonio Bowen
Texting quotes by Jose Antonio Bowen
Many actors have protested about mobile phones going off in theatres, but the real menace now is people texting during a show. It may only disturb a few people around them, but for me, as an actor, when I spot them answering their emails, I am outraged. ~ Simon Callow
Texting quotes by Simon Callow
What happens if the world we know changes today? Can we facebooking, tweeting, texting, shallow-thinking humans survive the slightest upheavel in our lives? ~ T.I. Wade
Texting quotes by T.I. Wade
I think anyone who stops at a gas station at night is up to no good. I think that if cops want to stop drunk driving, they should hide out in the bushes at the Taco Bell drive-through. I think if you're a guy and you pull down your pants and the girl you're with starts texting, you have a small penis. ~ Bill Konigsberg
Texting quotes by Bill Konigsberg
Texting and phone calls, fireworks, blends, café au lait, and music. Yesterday's television. Work and beer. The neighbor's dog, or those strange flowers, the way it smells at Maisen. Those ordinary things I talk about with you. With you... I want to talk about love with you. ~ Tomoko Yamashita
Texting quotes by Tomoko Yamashita
Nothing stings quite like an unanswered text message. ~ Paula Stokes
Texting quotes by Paula Stokes
And then it happens, the most dreaded response in the world, more terse than any word, more withholding than a "no," and strictly verboten for someone as in love with language and me as you claim to be.

You: "K ~ Caroline Kepnes
Texting quotes by Caroline Kepnes
Good. If you checked your e-mail every five minutes, or keep texting and Tweeting in the middle of our conversation, I might snap your neck out of sheer principle. ~ Jeaniene Frost
Texting quotes by Jeaniene Frost
You're breaking my heart."
At the sound of Rider's voice, I wheeled around, clutching my bag to my side. First thing I noticed was the faded Ravens emblem stretched over his broad chest, and then I forced my eyes up. The slight scruff along his jaw was gone. Nothing but smooth skin today.
No notebook. Hands shoved into the pockets of his jeans, a familiar, crooked grin pulled at Rider's lips, causing the dimple in his right cheek to pop. He stepped forward, and my heart did a backflip as he dipped his chin. I felt his warm breath on the side of my cheek as he spoke.
"You didn't respond to my text last night," he said, and there was a light, teasing tone I didn't remember from before. "I thought maybe you didn't realize it was me, but that would mean someone else would be texting you good-night and calling you Mouse. I'm not sure how I feel about that. ~ Jennifer L. Armentrout
Texting quotes by Jennifer L. Armentrout
What do you want to know?
Usual stuff. Serious relationships, age, whether you eat babies. :-D
I'm 30. I think babies are tasty, but empty calories, and I've had one long-term serious relationship ... ~ Arden Aoide
Texting quotes by Arden Aoide
People often hold technology responsible for infidelity. (...) But while things like Facebook, texting, and email certain make it easier for people (particularly lazy people!) to blur the boundaries of their relationships, it's still the people involved who are to blame. ~ Erin Cossar

Perk, from the minute you got here ... I hated you before you got here ... But the moment you got here, man, you just changed my whole perception of you. Just one of the best teammates I ever had. I just thank you so much. The late night calls after tough games, you texting me, telling me I'm the MVP. That means a lot to me, man. Thank you. ~ Kevin Durant
