Don't leave me", "Don't go away", "Don't forget me"... it seems to me, a tragedy, that these words so divine are the words that everyone is trained to never say. We are trained to never say and to never listen, to these words. Whatever happens to a baby contributes to the emotional and perceptual map of the world that its developing brain creates.
