I'd write something interesting like, "I saw you in bed with my boyfriend last night. I really don't appreciate you getting massage oil on my cucumbers. Whore."
I laugh and it feels odd, laughing out loud at my own thoughts. I look around and no one is left in the hallway but me.

Kel shakes his head, missing my sarcasm completely. "No, she's already dressed so you have to take her now."

"Thanks for coming to the estate sale with me this weekend. You made the day fun. I owe you one." "Don't forget to pack a Korean yogurt for me!" "If you make Josh's dumb white-chocolate cranberry cookies and not my fruitcake ones, it's over." I laugh out loud. And then, the one I read over and over: "You look pretty today. I like you in blue."
