My chair rolls to a stop. his voice cut short, followed by a thump and sliding sound. My wheelchair rolls forward again. I look back and see Ragnar pushing it innocently along. Sevro isn't in the hallway behind us. I frown, wondering where he went, till he bursts out of a side passage.
"You! Troll!" Sevro shouts. "I'm a terrorist warlord! Stop throwing me. You made me drop my candy!" Sevro looks at the floor of the hallway. "Wait. Where is it? Dammit, Ragnar. Where is my peanut bar? You know how many people I had to kill to get that? Six! Six!"
Ragnar chews quietly above me, and though I'm probably mistaken, I think I see him smile. ~ Pierce Brown
Sassy Dialogue quotes by Pierce Brown
The jury's still out on your level of intellect. After all, you signed up with Evil Incorporated in the first place. ~ Katherine McIntyre
Sassy Dialogue quotes by Katherine McIntyre
He's lovely," I say, putting my hand out to the dog. "What's his name?"
"Boris Johnson."
I blink. "Pardon?"
He smiles. "Because he's blond and stupid and makes very questionable decisions. ~ Lily Morton
Sassy Dialogue quotes by Lily Morton
Yeah. Shitty. Coffee. 'Shoffee,' if you will. ~ Megan Carroll
Sassy Dialogue quotes by Megan Carroll
That's me, keeping things bitchy from open to close." I turned around and gave him my customer service smile. ~ Katherine McIntyre
Sassy Dialogue quotes by Katherine McIntyre
True peace can rarely be imposed from the outside; it must be born within and between communities through meetings and dialogue and then carried outward. ~ Jean Vanier
Sassy Dialogue quotes by Jean Vanier
Of course there are collaborations. But in official meetings with Western diplomats from the US and the European Union, the major issues of our relationships are simply not discussed. The topics are on climate change or any other issues they want us to agree with them on. But they never discuss how we could develop an equal relationship. They should stop using pompous orchestrated summits and begin a serious dialogue with small meetings. ~ Yoweri Museveni
Sassy Dialogue quotes by Yoweri Museveni
I don't see Dior as something that could become mine. I see it as a dialogue with the women who wear it. I want to stay connected to them rather than to an abstract brand. ~ Raf Simons
Sassy Dialogue quotes by Raf Simons
Lots of people can write a good first page but to sustain it, that's my litmus test. If I flip to the middle of the book and there's a piece of dialogue that's just outstanding, or a description, then I'll flip back to the first page and start it. ~ Carl Hiaasen
Sassy Dialogue quotes by Carl Hiaasen
Some may think that to affirm dialogue - the encounter of women and men in the world in order to transform the world - is naively and subjectively idealistic. there is nothing, however, more real or concrete than people in the world and with the world, than humans with other humans. ~ Paulo Freire
Sassy Dialogue quotes by Paulo Freire
Cade eyes traveled over her when she answered the door, coming to rest on her shoes. "Are those the ones from Monday night?"

"They are."

He stepped inside her apartment and kicked the door shut.

Well, then.

"I have good memories of those shoes." With a warm gleam in his eye, he reached up and cupped the nape of her neck, leaning in to kiss her.

Hmm. She might have to wear these shoes all the time around Cade, if they put him in this good of a moo -

He jerked back, cursing under his breath.

Brooke blinked in surprise, still feeling the warm press of his lips on hers. "Um . . . what just happened?"

He winced, rotating his arm gingerly. "I reached around to grab your ass."

"And . . . it electrocuted you?"

He chucked her under the chin. "No, sassy. My shoulder's a little sore after playing football today."

That was news to her. "I didn't know you still played football."

"I don't. I was helping out someone else and got caught up in the moment. ~ Julie James
Sassy Dialogue quotes by Julie James
I only want one thing of men, and that is, that they should leave me alone. ~ D.H. Lawrence
Sassy Dialogue quotes by D.H. Lawrence
Our lives are co-authored in dialogue. ~ Michael Nichols
Sassy Dialogue quotes by Michael Nichols
I tried to find a word for it in my thesaurus, but there isn't one. At least, not one that doesn't belittle the plight of POWs and victims of famine. I guess we can just call it beyond suck. -Lulu Dark ~ Bennett Madison
Sassy Dialogue quotes by Bennett Madison
Because past environmental destruction was the result of ignorance, we can easily forgive it. Today, we are better informed. Therefore, it's essential that we make an ethical examination of what we have inherited, what we are responsible for, and what we will pass on to coming generations. Ours is clearly a pivotal generation. We have global communication and yet confrontation is more common than dialogue. ~ Dalai Lama
Sassy Dialogue quotes by Dalai Lama
I like what Oliver Lakes does on the saxophone. The saxophone comes pretty close to the sound of the human voice and when Oliver plays with other sax players, it's like a dialogue. ~ Yusef Komunyakaa
Sassy Dialogue quotes by Yusef Komunyakaa
At a certain time, an artist needs a big retrospective. At other times, they need a more focused exhibition. It's a different story each time; it's about establishing a dialogue. ~ Hans Ulrich Obrist
Sassy Dialogue quotes by Hans Ulrich Obrist
The dialogue and conversation about food is everywhere - television, chat rooms, social media outlets and among everyday conversations. ~ Marcus Samuelsson
Sassy Dialogue quotes by Marcus Samuelsson
When you're the only girl in a family of men, you have to be pretty sassy. ~ Susan Ford
Sassy Dialogue quotes by Susan Ford
Curiously, the most serious religious people, or the most concerned scholars, those who constantly read the Bible as a matter of professional or pious duty, can often manage to evade a radically involved dialogue with the book they are questioning. ~ Thomas Merton
Sassy Dialogue quotes by Thomas Merton
If people are going to watch TV, let's give them something coherent with actual dialogue. ~ Craig T. Nelson
Sassy Dialogue quotes by Craig T. Nelson
It's hotter in here than a goat's ass in a pepper patch. ~ Zoe Forward
Sassy Dialogue quotes by Zoe Forward
Science has only two things to contribute to religion: an analysis of the evolutionary, cultural, and psychological basis for believing things that aren't true, and a scientific disproof of some of faith's claims (e.g., Adam and Eve, the Great Flood). Religion has nothing to contribute to science, and science is best off staying as far away from faith as possible. The "constructive dialogue" between science and faith is, in reality, a destructive monlogue, with science making all the good points, tearing down religion in the process. ~ Jerry A. Coyne
Sassy Dialogue quotes by Jerry A. Coyne
As a rule of thumb, four consecutive lines of dialogue is about as much as you want to have without a tag. ~ Diana Gabaldon
Sassy Dialogue quotes by Diana Gabaldon
That is longing: To dwell in the flux of things,
To have no home in the present.
And these are wishes: gentle dialogues
Of the poor hours with eternity. ~ Rainer Maria Rilke
Sassy Dialogue quotes by Rainer Maria Rilke
Missy

I was sixteen and Jason (known on TV as Jase) was eighteen when we started dating. One of my friends--we'll call her Christy--was actually interested in him, and the two of them had started seeing each other. Jase did not know Christy was already dating someone else and had been for quite some time. He found this out at her house one Sunday afternoon when she ran down the stairs telling him he had to leave immediately. About that time, he heard the screeching of tires from the front of her house. Her boyfriend had arrived. The boyfriend (we'll call him Greg) was obviously not happy with the current arrangement and was there to set things straight with Jason. He told Jason eh wanted to talk inside his truck. Jase ended up getting into Greg's vehicle, which he quickly regretted, and Greg proceeded to drive to an undisclosed location to fight it out. Quickly, Jase realized the situation and told Greg that if all of this was over Christy, he could have her. She was not worth it to him.
Since Greg did not seem to respond to this direction in the conversation, Jase switched gears and started preaching to him. He proceeded to tell Greg that Jesus died for him and for all the rotten things he had done in his life. He told him God would forgive him if he would turn his life over to Jesus, be baptized for his sins, and start living a life that reflected Jesus' love for him.
Since Greg did not seem to respond to this dialogue either, Jase told him simply, "Jus ~ Missy Robertson
Sassy Dialogue quotes by Missy Robertson
Why did you do it?" Ethan asked suddenly. "Why save my life?"
Carwyn looked at me. I had to admit, I was curious to know the answer as well. It didn't seem like the kind of thing a doppelganger would do. "It was a whim. It was that or buy the weird cheese-and-crackers package off the food cart."
I had honestly not expected a doppelganger to be sassy. ~ Sarah Rees Brennan
Sassy Dialogue quotes by Sarah Rees Brennan
I don't write shows with dialogue where actors have to memorize dialogue. I write the scenes where we know everything that's going to happen. There's an outline of about seven or eight pages, and then we improvise it. ~ Larry David
Sassy Dialogue quotes by Larry David
Everyone seems agreed that writing about sex is perilous, partly because it threatens to swamp highly individualised characters in a generic, featureless activity (much like coffee-cup dialogue, during which everyone sounds the same), and partly because it feels ... tacky. ~ Edmund White
Sassy Dialogue quotes by Edmund White
I hope to use dialogue and culture as a means of bringing people of various cultures together, and using that as a way to resolve conflict. ~ Herbie Hancock
Sassy Dialogue quotes by Herbie Hancock
As a result, we create our own camps, attend only our own gatherings and conferences; soon enough, we're talking only to those who agree with us. Dialogue within the ummah disappears, our differences become only more polarized and our views become more extreme. ~ Yasmin Mogahed
Sassy Dialogue quotes by Yasmin Mogahed
Practicing dialogue helps you to cultivate a realness that allows you to face reality on its own terms, not just the terms you'd like it to have in order to remain in your comfort zone. ~ Oli Anderson
Sassy Dialogue quotes by Oli Anderson
You can't hammer yourself with hatred and build a life of happiness. ~ Curtis Tyrone Jones
Sassy Dialogue quotes by Curtis Tyrone Jones
Luthicer hummed. "You're either brave or very foolish."
"What's the difference?" (Eric) ~ Shannon A. Thompson
Sassy Dialogue quotes by Shannon A. Thompson
The president of the United States has claimed, on more than one occasion, to be in dialogue with God. If he said that he was talking to God through his hairdryer, this would precipitate a national emergency. I fail to see how the addition of a hairdryer makes the claim more ridiculous or offensive. ~ Sam Harris
Sassy Dialogue quotes by Sam Harris
...Society needs to open its collective mind to all ideas and ideologies. It needs to give its people the chance to listen to the opinions of others, and then examine them critically instead of rejecting them prematurely. Such a creative dialogue based on positive critical thinking can enhance and develop ideas. ~ Raif Badawi
Sassy Dialogue quotes by Raif Badawi
Humility oils the wheel of dialogue. ~ Matshona Dhliwayo
Sassy Dialogue quotes by Matshona Dhliwayo
Dialogue is a space where we may see the assumptions which lay beneath the surface of our thoughts, assumptions which drive us, assumptions around which we build organizations, create economies, form nations and religions. These assumptions become habitual, mental habits that drive us, confuse us and prevent our responding intelligently to the challenges we face every day. ~ David Bohm
Sassy Dialogue quotes by David Bohm
It was the scale, the extremity of things here that made an impression on her: the two beds in their double room that could comfortably sleep three people each; the throaty clunking of the machine down the corridor that ejected fat glinting ice cubes, tumbling like coins from a jackpotting fruit machine; the toothache temperature of the Cokes from the mini bar (she had never known drinks to be so cold); the improbable proportions of the cars on the freeway; the sleek gleefulness of the morning TV presenters with drawls so sassy they sounded put on; the enormity of the breakfasts and the people who ate them. America seemed souped-up to JoAnne, as though it had to be bigger, better, colder, hotter, cheerier, louder, just all-round "er" than everywhere else. ~ Tina Seskis
Sassy Dialogue quotes by Tina Seskis
In answer to 'But violence hasn't solved anything!'
The hell it hasn't. The application of violence - of killing and a willingness to be killed - on a massive scale is responsible for a lot of solutions. The most recent mass application of violence liberated Kuwait. The most recent mass application of violence on a global scale alone cleansed the world of the Third Reich. Nonviolence and passive resistance did less than nothing to stop Hitler and his henchmen. The Atlantic slave trade wasn't stopped by 'dialogue' or 'passive resistance' or conferences, but by the opened gunports of the Royal Navy; Dachau and Chang-I weren't liberated with pamphlets. ~ Markham Shaw Pyle
Sassy Dialogue quotes by Markham Shaw Pyle
Seriously, why was it tradition to stand when the bride came in? It blocked her from seeing her groom, who was the only reason she was there in the first place. ~ K.R. Grace
Sassy Dialogue quotes by K.R. Grace
When I think about directing a film, the thing that stops me short is wondering if I'm a natural at it the way I think you, and PTA, and Fincher are born directors. Maybe some people's talent is in understanding the ways that film communicates, without dialogue, without plot. ~ Edward Norton
Sassy Dialogue quotes by Edward Norton
Moving around is good for creativity: the next line of dialogue that you desperately need may well be waiting in the back of the refrigerator or half a mile along your favorite walk. ~ Will Shetterly
Sassy Dialogue quotes by Will Shetterly
Dialogue is about freeing human beings from the beliefs and attitudes that make human beings miserable. ~ Oli Anderson
Sassy Dialogue quotes by Oli Anderson
I urge everyone to be patient and reasonable and I warn against shooting from the hip in the truest sense of the term. Pressure and dialogue are needed. ~ Jean-Claude Juncker
Sassy Dialogue quotes by Jean-Claude Juncker
The symbol of the Lotus flower gives a precious teaching that can inspire us to deal with life in the best possible way. Its roots take nourishment from muddy waters and yet bloom in full delicacy and beauty on the surface. Similarly, to have a positive mindset is a beautiful quality; nonetheless to be transformational it needs to be rooted firmly in reality to then blossom with the value which can be created from the muddy problem(s) ~ Dorotea Brandin
