I have a stand-up routine I do about masturbation and the unwanted thoughts that go through women's heads when they put their hands under their sheets. I need a story to think about. I need a fantasy that makes sense. I can't just finger myself and picture Johnny Depp's face. It needs a sense of realism, like how did I meet Johnny Depp? He lives in France. I don't have a work visa. Besides, he has children and I've made it quite clear that I don't want to be a mom and I don't want to be stepmom either. ~ Jen Kirkman
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by Jen Kirkman
The control of your mind is most important, and it will be worth your while. You must think deeply. Clear your mind of all bad, unwanted thoughts ~ William O'Brien
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by William O'Brien
Breathe out unwanted thoughts with your exhale and re-focus your attention directly on what is important right now, at this moment. ~ Amit Ray
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by Amit Ray
The degree of freedom from unwanted thoughts and the degree of concentration on a single thought are the measures to gauge spiritual progress. ~ Ramana Maharshi
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by Ramana Maharshi
Controlling unwanted thoughts is not the problem. Believing, thrusting, and taking direction from them is. ~ Charles F. Glassman
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by Charles F. Glassman
They say that knowledge is power, but there is no knowledge more powerful than knowing that by your very thoughts, your own future is created! ~ Alan J. Buick
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by Alan J. Buick
Traveled so far, and not yet have they come across anything of interest, he mused, except, of course, for that nest of goblins I managed to stir up. Indeed, his brother had always been a valiant fool; why not give him some excitement?
He always did possess a love for a good fight, and who am I to deny him?
The glass sphere, responding to his thoughts, zoomed in on the mountain nearby where Shrukian camped, and by putting both his hands on the sphere's sides and closing his eyes, Pharun could all but smell the power that radiated from its depths. He could taste it on the back of his tongue, and it awake all sorts of things inside of him. The power tasted of death and ash, and it was scalding hot, pouring down his throat like blood of the freshly dead. He did not need further searching to know what kind of power he was sampling.
He smiled to himself, and it came out a satisfied smirk. ~ C.N. Faust
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by C.N. Faust
What if all I'd ever known was how it had been for the past three years - me being an unwanted outsider in my own family?
I might have turned out like Aphrodite, and I might still be letting my parents control me because I was hoping desperately that I would be good enough, make them proud, so that some day they would really love me. ~ P.C. Cast
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by P.C. Cast
Every time a dog humps your leg, you're being raped. #metoo ~ Oliver Markus Malloy
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by Oliver Markus Malloy
The house smelled like fireplace kindling, and hot water in old brass pipes - like metal melting into wood and becoming something all its own. It smelled like his childhood. Like chaos and terror and oatmeal cookies and lamb stew, and nighttime in front of that drafty front window. And the smell of it brought back thoughts, long past, about escaping from inside the walls and evoked the helplessness of every board that kept the place upright. ~ Melodie Ramone
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by Melodie Ramone
Too many of us live with an uncontrolled thought life. It is possible to learn to identify destructive thoughts and make wiser choices. Instead of letting those thoughts rumble freely about in my mind, I make the choice to harness them and direct them toward truth. ~ Lysa TerKeurst
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by Lysa TerKeurst
It's more than that. You'd take a bullet for him if you had to." I didn't answer. "You would! Oh, my goodness!" I stood. "I'm going to grab some of those dresses. I'll be right back." I tried not to be afraid of the thoughts in my head. Because if it was a choice between him or me, I didn't think I'd be able not to put him first. He was the prince, and his life was invaluable to the country. But more than that, it was invaluable to me. I shrugged the thought away. Besides, it wasn't as if it would ever happen. ~ Kiera Cass
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by Kiera Cass
For if in careless summer days
In groves of Ashtaroth we whored,
Repentant now, when winds blow cold,
We kneel before our rightful lord;
The lord of all, the money-god,
Who rules us blood and hand and brain,
Who gives the roof that stops the wind,
And, giving, takes away again;
Who spies with jealous, watchful care,
Our thoughts, our dreams, our secret ways,
Who picks our words and cuts our clothes,
And maps the pattern of our days;
Who chills our anger, curbs our hope,
And buys our lives and pays with toys,
Who claims as tribute broken faith,
Accepted insults, muted joys;
Who binds with chains the poet's wit,
The navvy's strength, the soldier's pride,
And lays the sleek, estranging shield
Between the lover and his bride. ~ George Orwell
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by George Orwell
I like my whiskey like I like my men: on the rocks, ready for death as I devour at their first intent. ~ Dominic Riccitello
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by Dominic Riccitello
In the dark, thoughts become louder. ~ Mie Hansson
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by Mie Hansson
You may force your way through anything with the leverage of prayer. Thoughts and reasonings are like the steel wedges which give a hold upon truth; but prayer is the lever, the prise which forces open the iron chest of sacred mystery, that we may get the treasure hidden within. ~ Charles Haddon Spurgeon
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by Charles Haddon Spurgeon
Sometimes a goal in life we are striving for may seem dim or unreachable. Direction has suddenly changed so fast we're left with aimless thoughts and confusion. Don't be troubled! You've proved to yourself you have the drive. Your new direction will come with patience. Each of us need time to rest our heart and mind before we reach the next mountain. ~ Ron Baratono
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by Ron Baratono
The physical act of walking combined with the opportunity to look out at the world while you are sharing your thoughts and feelings is very comforting to me. ~ Amy Poehler
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by Amy Poehler
Pay close attention to the particular thoughts you use to deprive yourself of happiness. ~ Byron Katie
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by Byron Katie
Not much goes on in the mind of a squirrel.
Huge portions of what is loosely termed "the squirrel brain" are given over to one thought: food.
The average squirrel cogitation goes something like this: I wonder what there is to eat. ~ Kate DiCamillo
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by Kate DiCamillo
Thought and action can be perceived as two different dimensions of who you are: the mental you and the physical you ~ Steve Pavlina
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by Steve Pavlina
Nothing binds you except your thoughts; nothing limits you except your fear; and nothing controls you except your beliefs. ~ Marianne Williamson
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by Marianne Williamson
If you are vigilant and make a stern effort to reject every thought when it rises, you will soon find that you are going deeper and deeper into your own inner self, where there is no need for your effort to reject the thoughts. ~ Ramana Maharshi
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by Ramana Maharshi
At last, when his wits were gone beyond repair, he came to conceive the strangest idea that ever occurred to any madman in this world. It now appeared to him fitting and necessary, in order to win a greater amount of honor for himself and serve his country at the same time, to become a knight-errant and roam the world on horseback, in a suit of armor; he would go in quest of adventures, by way of putting into practice all that he had read in his books; he would right every manner of wrong, placing himself in situations of the greatest peril such as would redound to the eternal glory of his name. As a reward for his valor and the might of his arm, the poor fellow could already see himself crowned Emperor of Trebizond at the very least; and so, carried away by the strange pleasure that he found in such thoughts as these, he at once set about putting his plan into effect. ~ Miguel De Cervantes Saavedra
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by Miguel De Cervantes Saavedra
Every era in the continent's vaunted developmental story had its own taxonomy of waste people-unwanted and unsalvageable. Each era had its own means of distancing its version of white trash from the mainstream ideal. ~ Nancy Isenberg
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by Nancy Isenberg

Unwanted Thoughts quotes by John Geddes
Doesn't it make you crazy??
The thought that everything is one day, the time doesn't exist (it's an illusion), everything has happen in one day, but in different periods (I still ask my self how scientist even live?? With such thoughts, just thinking on what they know about the space and how something can eat us and how something is so powerful that is called quasar and it's other stars + that it's bigger than the sun, it's more powerful... How they even live, for god sake..What's the interesting thing to watch how one shadow it makes the moon (where is magic - I know it and I sound and I'm like a person who is spoiled), so the moon makes the shadow the big shadow on this planet, the moon can't handle the whole circle planet so it (1) ~ Deyth Banger
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by Deyth Banger
We've been gifted with the power of choice ... in our actions, our thoughts, and our words. The quality of our lives gets better or worse depending on which direction we go with our choices. ~ Shawn Anderson
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by Shawn Anderson
Life is like a movie. Just roll up a film. When you finish it, just be kind and rewind. Don't live it to regret in the end, give it some room for reflections, meditate then leave like you were just starting it again.
Life is like a book, all unique and exclusive, filled with blank pages ready to be written, with many thoughts and creativity. So roll up your sleeve. Be bright and rewrite! ~ Ana Claudia Antunes
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by Ana Claudia Antunes
Satellites can see your thoughts, but not through rock,' is like something they might say. In John William's case, it was conscious hyperbole and therefore commentary. At one level, it was reefer-inspired. It was partly for fun. It was other things, too-but not derangement. I give no credence to the interpretation, and I knew him better than anybody. ~ David Guterson
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by David Guterson
Life is such a strange thing, she thinks, once she has stopped laughing. Even after certain things have happened to them, no matter how awful the experience, people still go on eating and drinking, going to the toilet and washing themselves - living, in other words. And sometimes they even laugh out loud. And they probably have these same thoughts, too, and when they do it must make them cheerlessly recall all the sadness they'd briefly managed to forget. ~ Han Kang
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by Han Kang
Consider that not only do negative thoughts and emotions destroy our experience of peace, they also undermine our health. ~ Dalai Lama
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by Dalai Lama
RVM Thoughts for Today
Joy and Bliss can come from the little and most unexpected things if only we Program our Mind to enjoy these little things. ~ R.v.m.
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by R.v.m.
But since the downfall of the mythological hypothesis an interpretation of the dream has been wanting. The conditions of its origin; its relationship to our psychical life when we are awake; its independence of disturbances which, during the state of sleep, seem to compel notice; its many peculiarities repugnant to our waking thought; the incongruence between its images and the feelings they engender; then the dream's evanescence, the way in which, on awakening, our thoughts thrust it aside as something bizarre, and our reminiscences mutilating or rejecting it - all these and many other problems have for many hundred years demanded answers which up till now could never have been satisfactory. Before all there is the question as to the meaning of the dream, a question which is in itself double-sided. There is, firstly, the psychical significance of the dream, its position with regard to the psychical processes, as to a possible biological function; secondly, has the dream a meaning - can sense be made of each single dream as of other mental syntheses? ~ Sigmund Freud
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by Sigmund Freud
One essential to success is that your desire be an all-obsessing one, your thoughts and aim be coordinated, and your energy be concentrated and applied without letup. ~ Claude M. Bristol
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by Claude M. Bristol
Control your thoughts ~ Unknown
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by Unknown
Strange living. I have always had a strange life. Never knowing what was true, living in a world of dreams. Christ, I told myself, I've got to get up. But with the weight of my thoughts, I felt like I couldn't breathe. Why did I keep taking on all of this - this shit and keep feeling it even after it had passed through a hundred million times? ~ Tracey Emin
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by Tracey Emin
She threw open the window to breathe in the spring air, heavy with the sweet perfume of roses and heather. To her right was the rolling glen beckoning her to come and walk. 'Sit here awhile and dream your thoughts on this flat rock.' How often had she done that? ~ Karen Ranney
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by Karen Ranney
Amid the discords of this life, it is blessed to think of heaven, where God draws after him an everlasting train of music; for all thoughts are harmonious and all feelings vocal, and so there is round about his feet eternal melody. ~ Henry Ward Beecher
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by Henry Ward Beecher
The danger is in thought, not amusement. ~ Shreya Ganguly

Consensual intercourse of the minds happens when conversation between two like minded individuals, are brought together by mutually exclusive chemistry in conversation that causes mental arousal & orgasmic stimulation which then produces ideas which provoke conscious thoughts. ~ Niedria Dionne Kenny

Warning: This read will cause lack of sleep! You wont want to put it down!

July 13, 2016 by Francine Baia
This was a long awaited novel in the Sword of the God series and it was most definitely well worth the wait. The author provides an all encompassing look into the inner thoughts and machinations of each character which is commanding. She tackles several serious subjects that are current in today's society, including PTSD and how it affects people differently and the devastation it causes on family. Several love stories are explored which keeps the readers on edge and wanting more. The integration of languages and cultures are seamless and readily understandable which bolsters the depth of the multiple storylines and at times is masterfully interlaced with comic relief. This is truly an enjoyable read that you will find difficult to put down. Anxiously anticipating the next installment! ~ Anna Erishkigal
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by Anna Erishkigal
If I write a fantastic story, I'm not writing something willful. On the contrary, I am writing something that stands for my feelings, or for my thoughts. So that, in a sense, a fantastic story is as real and perhaps more real than a mere circumstantial story. Because after all, circumstances come and go, and symbols remain. ~ Jorge Luis Borges
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by Jorge Luis Borges
The long nub end of afternoon spent at her keyboard, her hands moving so much slower than her racing mind, The frustrating lag between her thoughts and the hunt and peck; a hot flood of ideas where there had been months of trickling, uncertain sentences, and Sadie trying to keep up with herself, wishing she'd taken typing in high school, scared that this inspiration would grow restless, impatient with her, and slink back to whatever hole it crawled out of. ~ Caitlin R. Kiernan
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by Caitlin R. Kiernan
You're not a bad person," she told him, knowing where his thoughts had taken him. "I'm not saying you're perfect. You're cocky and a know-it-all and you're addicted to working. But you've got a nice big dick and great bedroom skills, so I'm willing to overlook all that. ~ Suzanne Wright
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by Suzanne Wright
He was always part of her thoughts, and now that he was real, he was inescapably part of her life, but it was as she had told her mother: saying he was part of her or that they were more than friends sounded like love, but it seemed like loss as well. All the words she knew to describe what he was to her were from love stories and love songs, but those were not words anyone truly meant. ~ Sarah Rees Brennan
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by Sarah Rees Brennan
The heart is just the heart; thoughts and feelings are just thoughts and feelings. Let things be just as they are. ~ Ajahn Chah
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by Ajahn Chah
Combing her thoughts, yanking them into a pigtail. ~ Michael Chabon
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by Michael Chabon
Shut the world out, withdraw from all worldly thoughts and occupations, and shut yourself in alone with God, to pray to Him in secret. Let this be your chief object in prayer, to realize the presence of your heavenly Father. ~ Andy Murray
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by Andy Murray
I have come to see that exploration is not a practice of the unfaithful, but rather is exactly what being a follower of Christ is actually all about. ~ Brandan Roberston
Unwanted Thoughts quotes by Brandan Roberston
In the ashes on the hearth Saigyo traced and retraced the word, "pity." He had yet to learn to accept life with all its good and evils, to love life in all its manifestations by becoming one with nature. And for this he had abandoned home, wife, and child in that city of conflict. He had fled to save his own life, not for any grandiose dream of redeeming mankind; neither had he taken vows with the thoughts of chanting sutras to Buddha; nor did he aspire to brocaded ranks of the high prelates. Only by surrendering to nature could he best cherish his own life, learn how man should live, and therein find peace. And if any priest accused him of taking the vows out of self-love, not to purify the world and bring salvation to men, Saigyo was ready to admit that these charges were true and that he deserved to be reviled and spat upon as a false priest. Yet, if driven to answer for himself, he was prepared to declare that he who had not learned to love his own life could not love mankind, and that what he sought now was to love that life which was his. Gifts he had none to preach salvation or the precepts of Buddha; all that he asked was to be left to exist as humbly as the butterflies and the birds. ~ Eiji Yoshikawa
