Philosophy is the reflection of reflective mind. ~ Debasish Mridha
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Debasish Mridha
Because your life is a reflection of your inner Self, causality comes exclusively in changing your own nature, not trying to change the external world out there by manipulating it. ~ Thomas Daniel Nehrer
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Thomas Daniel Nehrer
Neither an enlightened philosophy, nor all the political wisdom of Rome, nor even the faith and virtue of the Christians availed against the incorrigible tradition of antiquity. Something was wanted, beyond all the gifts of reflection and experience
a faculty of self government and self control, developed like its language in the fibre of a nation, and growing with its growth. ~ Lord Acton
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Lord Acton
According to ancient Asian philosophy, life is not a circle but a spiral. Every life lesson that has ever been presented to you (which means everything you have ever been through) will come back again, in some form, until you learn it. And the stakes each time will be higher. Whatever you've learned will bear greater fruit. Whatever you've failed to learn will bear harsher consequences. Whatever didn't work in your life before this point was a reflection of the fact that you hadn't yet integrated the different parts of yourself. Where you didn't yet accept yourself, you attracted a lack of acceptance in others. Where you hadn't yet dealt with your shadows, you manifested shadowy situations. Broken parts of you encountered broken parts of others. So now you know! That was then and this is now. ~ Marianne Williamson
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Marianne Williamson
To a poet, his works aren't just a reflection of life itself, but an entire life in the boundless invisible. Isn't the heavenly oasis of all human emotions - the soul - invisible? I reaped: We cannot see the wind, but we can feel it, we cannot see the warmth of the sun, but we can also feel it. This bond between nature and humans is the best proof of the Creator's existence. ~ Walter William Safar
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Walter William Safar
Understanding of oneself is the first act in establishing a transformative philosophy for living a vivid and a reflective existence. Knowing thy self is essential to designing and instigating a meaningful life that is self-directed instead of exclusively controlled by innate traits and external determinates. ~ Kilroy J. Oldster
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Kilroy J. Oldster
Philosophy lives in words, but truth and fact well up into our lives in ways that exceed verbal formulation. ~ William James
Reflection Philosophy quotes by William James
It is a remark which needs no subtle reflection to make, but which we may assume that even the commonest understanding can make, although it be after its fashion by an obscure discernment of judgment which it calls feeling, that all the 'ideas' that come to us involuntarily (as those of the senses) do not enable us to know objects otherwise than as they affect us; so that what they may be in themselves remains unknown to us, and consequently that as regards 'ideas' of this kind even with the closest attention and clearness that the understanding can apply to them, we can by them only attain to the knowledge of appearances, never to that of things in themselves. ~ Immanuel Kant
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Immanuel Kant
In the eyeball there is a clash between creation and reflection. The two-way globes of sight are magical revolving doors where the creative spirit meets itself in the created spirit. The eye that surveys the universe is the universe's own eye. ~ Jostein Gaarder
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Jostein Gaarder
There is no future without a past, because what is to be cannot be imagined except as a form of repetition. ~ Siri Hustvedt
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Siri Hustvedt
We like to see our future through our children; they are the reflection of the best of ourselves. ~ Debasish Mridha
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Debasish Mridha
His bedroom was a reflection of Bryant's mind, its untidy shelves filled with games and puzzles stacked in ancient boxes, statues and mementoes competing for space with books on every subject imaginable, from Sensation and Perception in the History of Experimental Psychology to Illustrated British Ballads and A History of Indian Philosophy.
"What are you reading at the moment?' asked May.
"Batman," said Bryant. "The drawings are terribly good. ~ Christopher Fowler
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Christopher Fowler
The story goes that one day Socrates stood gazing at a stall that sold all
kinds of wares. Finally he said, What a lot of things I don't need! ~ Jostein Gaarder
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Jostein Gaarder
If you are the reflection of light, then how can you fear darkness? ~ Debasish Mridha
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Debasish Mridha
You will have noticed by this time, of course, that St. Thomas almost always solves a dilemma by making a distinction. That is not a quirk of his personality or even of his method, but a reflection of the nature of reality. Reality is complex: it has many dimensions, "there are more things in Heaven and earth than are dreamed of in your [always-simplistic and abstracted] philosophy" (Hamlet). This is the source of nearly all dilemmas and apparent contradictions, and therefore the key to their resolution. ~ Peter Kreeft
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Peter Kreeft
Almost all arguments for skepticism make reference to seemingly ridiculous possibilities - we are being deceived by an evil demon, life is just a dream, we are brains in vats. You might propose psychoanalysis, rather than philosophical reflection, for anyone who worries about these possibilities. ~ Richard Feldman
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Richard Feldman
Sink not to my depths, but instead raise to surface, and be the shining light for all to see. ~ Anthony T. Hincks
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Anthony T. Hincks
The moon is the reflection of your heart and moonlight is the twinkle of your love. ~ Debasish Mridha
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Debasish Mridha
Philosophy is not in a state of external reflection on other domains, but in a state of active and internal alliance with them, and it is neither more abstract nor more difficult. ~ Gilles Deleuze
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Gilles Deleuze
Everything that happens around and within us is a reflection of our thoughts, imaginations, and actions. ~ Debasish Mridha
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Debasish Mridha
Nothing in our everyday experience gives us any reason for supposing that water is made up of hydrogen and oxygen; and yet when we subject water to to certain rather drastic treatments, the nature of its constituent elements becomes manifest. Similarly, nothing in our everyday experience gives us much reason for supposing that the mind of the average sensual man has, as one of its constituents, something resembling, or identical with, the Reality substantial to the manifold world; and yet, when that mind is subjected to certain rather drastic treatments, the divine element, of which it is in part at least composed, becomes manifest, not only to the mind itself, but also, by its reflection in external behaviour, to other minds. ~ Aldous Huxley
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Aldous Huxley
Confidence comes from thoughtful action, reflection, and experience. Confidence does not come from reaction. ~ Debasish Mridha
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Debasish Mridha
Ignorance of the ages leaves me all but lifeless.
Not alone has it burnt sacred religious works,
but works of literature, art, philosophy, poetry,
astronomy, n' medicine, but to name a few. ~ Richard Mc Sweeney
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Richard Mc Sweeney
You are the beloved conscious reflection of this universe. You are here to enjoy the beauty and joy of life. ~ Debasish Mridha
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Debasish Mridha
Everything is reflected in both - outside (out there) and inside (in here) - marvel at it, experience, learn. The personal is also the universal, and the universal is also the personal. ~ Jay Woodman
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Jay Woodman
If Samkhya-Yoga philosophy does not explain the reason and origin of the strange partnership between the spirit and experience, at least tries to explain the nature of their association, to define the character of their mutual relations. These are not real relationships, in the true sense of the word, such as exist for example between external objects and perceptions. The true relations imply, in effect, change and plurality, however, here we have some rules essentially opposed to the nature of spirit.
"States of consciousness" are only products of prakriti and can have no kind of relation with Spirit the latter, by its very essence, being above all experience. However and for SamPhya and Yoga this is the key to the paradoxical situation the most subtle, most transparent part of mental life, that is, intelligence (buddhi) in its mode of pure luminosity (sattva), has a specific quality that of reflecting Spirit. Comprehension of the external world is possible only by virtue of this reflection of purusha in intelligence. But the Self is not corrupted by this reflection and does not lose its ontological modalities (impassibility, eternity, etc.). The Yoga-sutras (II, 20) say in substance: seeing (drashtri; i.e., purusha) is absolute consciousness ("sight par excellence") and, while remaining pure, it knows cognitions (it "looks at the ideas that are presented to it"). Vyasa interprets: Spirit is reflected in intelligence (buddhi), but is neither like it nor different from i ~ Mircea Eliade
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Mircea Eliade
What you think of about a nation or a situation is your self-expression and mind's reflection. ~ Debasish Mridha
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Debasish Mridha
In the nineteenth century, The Romantics viewed Nature as benign, a glowing reflection of God's grace. Now we know better. Nature is brutal and, if it is feminine, she's not the kind of woman you can trust. Human beings may be her finest achievement yet, but when you get right down to brass tacks, we're meat. AIDS and organisms like streptococcus don't give a crap that we subdued the earth or produced a Shakespeare ... ~ Rick Yancey
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Rick Yancey
You are nothing but a reflection of your imagination. Be yourself to create a better self. ~ Debasish Mridha
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Debasish Mridha
Beauty is not out there; it is the reflection of your inner beauty. You carry it with you always. ~ Debasish Mridha
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Debasish Mridha
The reflection on the surface of the water is often mistaken for the mysteries that lie beneath. Likewise, the reflection of the moon is mistaken for its own light. In the quest for wisdom, each person must emerge from the illusions of the world and begin the journey towards the sacred mountain. ~ Thomas Lloyd Qualls
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Thomas Lloyd Qualls
The Native Americans know that wolves are mirrors for humans. What they show us are our strengths and weaknesses ... When I lived with the wolves, I was proud of the reflection of myself. But when I came back, I always paled in comparison. ~ Jodi Picoult
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Jodi Picoult
You are my garland of love. I am your reflection of love. ~ Debasish Mridha
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Debasish Mridha
Because they do burn leaves here, the older folks do, and I remember now that I love it and always have. The way fall feels at night because of it, because of the crackling sound and walking around the sidewalks, like when you're a kid, and kicking those soft piles, and seeing smoke from backyards and Mr. Kilstrap standing over the metal drum with the holes in the top, the sparking embers at his feet. ~ Megan Abbott
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Megan Abbott
Most of us are brainwashed by our society so we become the reflection of that society. ~ Debasish Mridha
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Debasish Mridha
The embodiment of mind leads us to a philosophy of embodied realism. Our concepts cannot be a direct reflection of external, objective, mind-independent reality because our sensorimotor system plays a crucial role in shaping them. On the other hand, it is the involvement of the sensorimotor system in the conceptual system that keeps the conceptual system very much in touch with the world. ~ George Lakoff
Reflection Philosophy quotes by George Lakoff
As all material creation consists of out-births of things spiritual, the spiritual world being the world of causes, and the natural world that of effects, and as effects are the repositories of their causes, the natural world is the reflection of the spiritual. For this reason, from the beginning of things, the sun has stood out as a pre-eminent symbol of the things of God. Of all inanimate things it bears the closest correspondence to the Supreme Being, for what it is in the natural world the Supreme Being is in the Spiritual. Its central fire is the correspondence of the essence of the Divine Nature--DIVINE LOVE; its heat the correspondence of the heat flowing from Divine Love, which is Divine Goodness and all that that comprises; its light the correspondence of Divine Truth which is the light proceeding from Divine Wisdom; and the union of heat and light in its central essence forever symbolizes the union of the Divine Love and Wisdom resulting from that of the Divine Will and Understanding.
God is the SUN from whose heat and light--His Love and Wisdom--proceed all that is spiritual, and through the spiritual, by the medium of the natural sun, all that is natural. The sun is supreme in all natural things, and its operations run through all in its own world, but the Divine SUN from which it derives its origin is supreme in all and operates through all, above and below. And as the natural sun is everywhere present in its own realm, and all things derive their life and g ~ John Daniel
Reflection Philosophy quotes by John Daniel
Formal education opens the world to you; contemplation and reflection open yourself to you. ~ Debasish Mridha
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Debasish Mridha
When one does a thing, it appears good, otherwise one would not write it. Only later comes reflection, and one discards or accepts the thing. Time is the best censor, and patience a most excellent teacher. ~ Frederic Chopin
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Frederic Chopin
I am a feminist because in every woman I can see reflection of my mother. ~ Debasish Mridha
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Debasish Mridha
Your body is an absolute mirror of your mind. As you worry, your body shows it. As you love, your body shows it. As you are overwhelmed, your body shows it. As you are angry your body shows it. Every cell of your body is being allowed or resisted by the way you feel. 'My physical state is a direct reflection of how I feel', instead of 'How I feel is a direct reflection of my physical state'. ~ Esther Hicks
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Esther Hicks
The writer is the cursed artist of the soul. The expression of his art is a reflection of his quest to understand man by unraveling the mysteries that have been haunting humankind from time immemorial. In the end of his journey to understand man, the writer becomes more human even though his soul ends up finding less peace. ~ Janvier Chouteu-Chando
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Janvier Chouteu-Chando
Wherever you travel to see beauty, you find yourself and your reflection again and again. ~ Debasish Mridha
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Debasish Mridha
In youth it is the outward aspect of things that most engages us; while in age, thought or reflection is the predominating qualityof the mind. Hence, youth is the time for poetry, and age is more inclined to philosophy. In practical affairs it is the same: a man shapes his resolutions in youth more by the impression that the outward world makes upon him; whereas, when he is old, it is thought that determines his actions. ~ Arthur Schopenhauer
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Arthur Schopenhauer
I Used to think that I knew everything, I was alone. My heart was empty, a single soul experience of life. When I discovered in a pair of eyes, a light reflection of mine, I found my mate, my match, my soul.
Katia M. S. ~ Katia M. S.
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Katia M. S.
We criticize anyone who tries to break away from the rat race, because the idea that there is a way out scares us more than dying in the state we're in. ~ Cic Mellace
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Cic Mellace
An ordinary mirror is silvered at the back but the window of the night train has darkness behind the glass. My face and the faces of other travellers were now mirrored on this darkness in a succession of stillnesses. Consider this, said the darkness: any motion at any speed is a succession of stillnesses; any section through an action will show just such a plane of stillness as this dark window in which your seeking face is mirrored. And in each plane of stillness is the moment of clarity that makes you responsible for what you do. ~ Russell Hoban
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Russell Hoban
There can be no such thing as "philosophical horror", at least as a premeditated genre. Why? Because philosophy implies enquiry, reflection and an open mind, whereas the genre of horror demands certain conclusions in advance. ~ Quentin S. Crisp
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Quentin S. Crisp
The very wish to be right, down to its subtlest form of logical reflection, is an expression of the spirit of self-preservation which philosophy is precisely concerned to break down. ~ Theodor W. Adorno
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Theodor W. Adorno
Your life is nothing buy a reflection of your thoughts. Your life will only change when you change your thoughts. ~ Debasish Mridha
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Debasish Mridha
Contemplating the goodness within ourselves is a classical meditation, done to bring light, joy, and rapture to the mind. In contemporary times this practice might be considered rather embarrassing, because so often the emphasis is on all the unfortunate things we have done, all the disturbing mistakes we have made. Yet this classical reflection is not a way of increasing conceit. It is rather a commitment to our own happiness, seeing our happiness as the basis for intimacy with all of life. It fills us with joy and love for ourselves and a great deal of self-respect. Significantly, when we do metta practice, we begin by directing metta toward ourselves. This is the essential foundation for being able to offer genuine love to others ~ Sharon Salzberg
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Sharon Salzberg
Philosophy has become the shadow of itself over the years. Nine parts history and one part reflection on history. It has been ages since anything original came forth in the field. All the good thinking has already been done. Nowadays, philosophers are mostly institutionalized academics - like me - focused more on the politics of tenure than on philosophizing. ~ Gudjon Bergmann
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Gudjon Bergmann
When you are seeing a person, you are not really seeing him. You are seeing his reflection through the mirror of your mind. ~ Debasish Mridha
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Debasish Mridha
Things are not real, but they are the reflection of our imaginations and perceptions. ~ Debasish Mridha
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Debasish Mridha
If the meaning of life has become doubtful, if one's relations to others and to oneself do not offer security, then fame is one means to silence one's doubts. It has a function to be compared with that of the Egyptian pyramids or the Christian faith in immortality: it elevates one's individual life from its limitations and instability to the plane of indestructability; if one's name is known to one's contemporaries and if one can hope that it will last for centuries, then one's life has meaning and significance by this very reflection of it in the judgments of others. ~ Erich Fromm
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Erich Fromm
Be not afraid life with all its despair, pain and unhappiness is just a crucible wherein your brighter dreams are conceived, shaped and born ~ Rassool Jibraeel Snyman
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Rassool Jibraeel Snyman
Philosophy, like science, consists of theories or insights arrived at as a result of systemic reflection or reasoning in regard to the data of experience. It involves, therefore, the analysis of experience and the synthesis of the results of analysis into a comprehensive or unitary conception. Philosophy seeks a totality and harmony of reasoned insight into the nature and meaning of all the principal aspects of reality. ~ Joseph Alexander Leighton
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Joseph Alexander Leighton
The most beautiful makeup is the reflection of kindness from a smiling face. ~ Debasish Mridha
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Debasish Mridha
Outer peace is the reflection of inner beauty, harmony, love, and tranquility. ~ Debasish Mridha
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Debasish Mridha
Oh my beloved friend! In your mirror, I see my reflection again and again. ~ Debasish Mridha
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Debasish Mridha
A small stream ... sings a carefree song as it runs by your house. It is so nonthreatening that you can sit by it, look at your reflection in the water, and even wash your hands in it. It is yours, your personal stream. Yet you know that it has originated in the sea and is on its way back to where it has come from. When passing by your house, however, it is yours. You can say it is a personal moment you have torn out of eternity to keep in your pocket for yourself. ~ Fatemeh Keshavarz
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Fatemeh Keshavarz
To persevere is always a reflection of the state of one's inner life, one's philosophy and one's perspective ~ David Guterson
Reflection Philosophy quotes by David Guterson
A true friend is a reflection of yourself. ~ Debasish Mridha
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Debasish Mridha
Through pictures, we can imagine and visualize the reflection of the beauties which our eyes can't see. ~ Debasish Mridha
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Debasish Mridha
The reader, like his fellows, doubtless prefers action to reflection, and doubtless he is wholly in the right. So we shall get to it. However, I must advise that this book is written leisurely, with the leisureliness of a man no longer troubled by the flight of time; that is a work supinely philosophical, but of a philosophy wanting in uniformity, now austere, now playful, a thing that neither edifies nor destroys, neither inflames nor chills, and that is at once more of a pastime and less than a preachment. ~ Machado De Assis
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Machado De Assis
Your true friends echo your own philosophies back at you. ~ J.R. Rim
Reflection Philosophy quotes by J.R. Rim
Looking into the spirit of others is sometimes like looking into a pond. Though we aim to see what's deep in the bottom, we are often distracted by our own reflection. ~ Katina Ferguson
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Katina Ferguson
The phenomenological world is not the bringing to explicit expression of a pre-existing being, but the laying down of being. Philosophy is not the reflection of a pre-existing truth, but, like art, the act of bringing truth into being. ~ Maurice Merleau Ponty
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Maurice Merleau Ponty
The mirror of life casts reflections that cascade the emotions. ~ Gillian Duce
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Gillian Duce
Life is a transient phenomenon with eternal reflection. ~ Debasish Mridha
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Debasish Mridha
This Self is never born, nor does It die. It did not spring from anything, nor did anything spring from It. This Ancient One is unborn, eternal, everlasting. It is not slain even though the body is slain. ~ The Upanishads
Reflection Philosophy quotes by The Upanishads
Where you are no is the reflection of your lifelong thoughts and actions. ~ Debasish Mridha
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Debasish Mridha
To all those who still wish to talk about man, about his reign or his liberation, to all those who still ask themselves questions about what man is in his essence, to all those who wish to take him as their starting-point in their attempts to reach the truth, to all those who, on the other hand, refer all knowledge back to the truths of man himself, to all those who refuse to formalize without anthropologizing, who refuse to mythologize without demystifying, who refuse to think without immediately thinking that it is man who is thinking, to all these warped and twisted forms of reflection we can answer only with a philosophical laugh – which means, to a certain extent, a silent one. ~ Michel Foucault
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Michel Foucault
There are those who say further that these are meer Dreames and no true Relations, but I say back to them: look upon my Churches in the Spittle-fields, in Limehouse, and now in the Parish of Wapping Stepney, and do you not wonder why they lead you into a darker World which on Reflection you know to be your own? Every Patch of Ground by them has its Hypochondriack Distemper and Disorder; every Stone of them bears the marks of Scorching by which you may follow the true Path of God. ~ Peter Ackroyd
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Peter Ackroyd
Knowledge is the beauty of a diamond, but wisdom is the shining reflection of that beauty. ~ Debasish Mridha
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Debasish Mridha
Angels and Airwaves is a complete, pure reflection of who I am. The philosophy, the spiritualism, the esotericism, the idea of hope and space and the themes about life and grandeur ... that's all me. ~ Tom DeLonge
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Tom DeLonge
Hello! Look at me! I am your reflection. ~ Debasish Mridha
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Debasish Mridha
All but universally, human architecture values front elevations over back entrances, public spaces over private. Danny Jessup says that this aspect of architecture is also a reflection of human nature, that most people care more about their appearance than they do about their souls. ~ Dean Koontz
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Dean Koontz
Despite what people tell you, what you do for the majority of the day is who you are. For most people, that is their job, and if you're not careful now, if you're not putting your entire effort into every subject to see which ones suit you best, if you're not taking advantage of every opportunity with the time you have right now while you're still young, you'll never have a good understanding of yourself or your gifts. You'll wind up picking a major at college that you don't feel passionate about, because you don't even know what your passion is. ~ Cic Mellace
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Cic Mellace
Philosophy ... bears witness to the deepest love of reflection, to absolute delight in wisdom. ~ Novalis
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Novalis
I can't see my reflection in the waters, I can't speak the sounds that show no pain. I can't hear the echo of my footsteps, or can't remember the sound of my own name. ~ Bob Dylan
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Bob Dylan
Trying to change the outside by making changes to the outside, is like trying to make your lips red in your reflection by putting lipstick on the mirror! ~ Odille Rault
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Odille Rault
Have a magnificent holiday! Celebrate as if holidays are a reflection of your dreams, desires, traditions, and values all wrapped in happiness and joy. ~ Debasish Mridha
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Debasish Mridha
Perhaps someone may say 'But surely, Socrates, after you have left us you can spend the rest of your life in quietly minding your own business.' This is the hardest thing of all to make some of you understand. If I say that this would be disobedience to God, and that is why I cannot 'mind my own business', you will not believe that I am serious. If on the other hand I tell you that to let no day pass without discussing goodness and all the other subjects about which you hear me talking and examining both myself and others is really the best thing that a man can do, and that life without this sort of examination is not worth living, you will be even less inclined to believe me. Nevertheless, that is how it is, gentlemen, as I maintain; though it is not easy to convince you of it. ~ Socrates
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Socrates
The passionate heart touches the sky. The meditative mind enters it. ~ Yasmine Sherif (The Case For Humanity: An Extraordinary Session)
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Yasmine Sherif (The Case For Humanity: An Extraordinary Session)
The beauty of the stars, moon, and oceans are a reflection of my heart. ~ Debasish Mridha
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Debasish Mridha
You are the world. Everything that you see around you is a reflection of your soul and mind. ~ Debasish Mridha
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Debasish Mridha
The trick was to refuse to allow your pain to prevent you from living honorably. In Japan, she said, a person learned not to complain or be distracted by suffering. To persevere was always a reflection of the state of one's inner life, one's philosophy, and one's perspective. It was best to accept old age, death, injustice, hardship – all of these were part of living ~ David Guterson
Reflection Philosophy quotes by David Guterson
I am just a mirror. I show your true reflection. ~ Avijeet Das
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Avijeet Das
Through art we can see the reflection of the inner world of an artist. ~ Debasish Mridha
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Debasish Mridha
The obsessive desire for a passionate relationship is usually a reflection of a lack of love for oneself. The manic need to pursue a passionate career is rooted in an intense unhappiness with present reality. They are a series of soothing thoughts and deflection methods and escape routes: The monster everyone's running from, of course, is themselves. ~ Brianna Wiest
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Brianna Wiest
Many scientists think that philosophy has no place, so for me it's a sad time because the role of reflection, contemplation, meditation, self inquiry, insight, intuition, imagination, creativity, free will, is in a way not given any importance, which is the domain of philosophers. ~ Deepak Chopra
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Deepak Chopra
A smile is a reflection of the simplicity of the soul. ~ Debasish Mridha
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Debasish Mridha
Beauty is the reflection of a loving heart, not the quality of an object or subject. ~ Debasish Mridha
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Debasish Mridha
No one can steal your freedom from you. You can only give it away. ~ Bella James
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Bella James
Art is a relection of the mind and a vision of the heart. ~ Debasish Mridha
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Debasish Mridha
Beauty is not the reflection of your image, but the reflection of the seer's inner vision. ~ Debasish Mridha
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Debasish Mridha
The academic reflection of the massive social and economic changes that took place between 1970 and 1981 could be seen in the gradual marginalization of serious social theory and political philosophy, and particularly of "leftist" thought. The usual story that is told about the history of "political philosophy" since World War II holds that political philosophy was "dead" until it was revived by Rawls, whose Theory of Justice appeared in 1971. This seems to me seriously misleading. Rather than the publication of Theory of Justice being a renewal of political philosophy, it seems to me more fruitful to see it as part of a failure of nerve, and a turning away from the real world of institutions, politics and history toward the never-never land of purely normative theory. ~ Raymond Geuss
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Raymond Geuss
Study without reflection is a waste of time; reflection without study is dangerous. ~ Confucius
Reflection Philosophy quotes by Confucius
Whatever you see when you look at your self will be the reflection of your inner perception. ~ Debasish Mridha
