All of us failed to match our dreams of perfection. So I rate us on the base of our splendid failure to do the impossible. ~ William Faulkner
Our Dreams quotes by William Faulkner
Pragmatists are sometimes more prone to illusion than dreamers; when they fall for something, they fall hard, not knowing how to protect themselves, while we dreamers are more practiced in surviving the disillusionment that follows when we wake up from our dreams. ~ Azar Nafisi
Our Dreams quotes by Azar Nafisi
Go and you will see that nothing is as wonderful as our dreams can make it ~ Carolyn Turgeon
Our Dreams quotes by Carolyn Turgeon
We only have one future, and it will be made of our dreams, if we have the courage to challenge convention. ~ Soichiro Honda
Our Dreams quotes by Soichiro Honda
We've removed the ceiling above our dreams. There are no more impossible dreams. ~ Jesse Jackson
Our Dreams quotes by Jesse Jackson
OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY

I don't know of people who do everything from going to school, learning different skills and basically develop themselves so that they stay at home. It's ingrained in every kid that they should study hard and excel so that they can get good jobs and live well. With that said, working is what makes us build nations and fulfill some our dreams so it's important to ensure that the work environment is kept safe and comfortable for workers so that they can remain productive for the longest time. However as long as we are living there will SWMS always be greedy employers who will take short cuts or fail to protect their employees and this is where OSHA(occupational safety and health administration)comes in to rectify these issues. Occupational safety is ensuring that employees work in danger free environment.

There are many industries of different nature and hence the possible hazards vary. For example in the textile and clothing industry, employees deal with dyes, chemicals and machines that spin , knit and weave to ensure production. In some countries there have been cases of sweatshops where people make clothes in poorly ventilated places for long hours. The tools of trade in all industries are still the ones that cause hazards e.g. machines can cut people, chemicals emit poisonous fumes or burn the skin and clothes etc.

Its therefore the mandate of employers to ensure work places are safe for workers and incase the ind ~ Peter Gabriel
Our Dreams quotes by Peter Gabriel
As Aboriginal people we have always retained our resilience, our humour and our cultural integrity - we will always retain our dreams and a vision for the future for our people. ~ Ken Wyatt
Our Dreams quotes by Ken Wyatt
I learned a very valuable lesson. The hood will sell crack to your mother, watch your little sisters all grown up and try to fuck them, kill your little brothers, send our men to jail, steal our dreams, steal our families, fuck up friendships and do the same to the next generation behind us. And what we fail to realize is no matter how much we love the hood, that bitch will never love us back! ~ S. Yvonne
Our Dreams quotes by S. Yvonne
Reading good literature is an experience of pleasure ... but it is also an experience of learning what and how we are, in our human integrity and our human imperfection, with our actions, our dreams, and our ghosts, alone and in relationships that link us to others, in our public image and in the secret recesses of our consciousness. ~ Tim Gillespie
Our Dreams quotes by Tim Gillespie
Too often, we decide to follow a path that is not really our own, one that others have set for us. We forget that ... in both cases we will pass through both difficult and happy moments. But when we are living our dream, the difficulties we encounter make sense. ~ Paulo Coelho
Our Dreams quotes by Paulo Coelho
If our dreams are a reflection of our thoughts, then surely, our life is the foundation of our soul. ~ Robert Gibson
Our Dreams quotes by Robert Gibson
Yet it is in our idleness, in our dreams, that the submerged truth sometimes comes to the top. ~ Virginia Woolf
Our Dreams quotes by Virginia Woolf
Sometimes when we get so caught up in our dreams we get tunnel vision. It becomes about "me, me, me," and we fail to see those around us who need our help. When this happens we can expect to experience obstacles or as I like to call them, "gentle reminders" that we are not the center of the universe. When we are not using our talents and strengths to bless others, how can we expect the Lord to bless us? ~ Lindsey Rietzsch
Our Dreams quotes by Lindsey Rietzsch
We are living in our dreams most of our life, so dream better and dream big. ~ Debasish Mridha
Our Dreams quotes by Debasish Mridha
A bus drives past and I'm nauseated by a whiff of exhaust. Then rotting fish. The rancid stench of sewage. Is it garbage day? I'm trapped in the pungent fog, in the dreary suburban-style shops, the rat race of city life. The city, even on the west coast, has the power to beat us down, to suck us of passion, to crush our dreams. ~ Shannon Mullen
Our Dreams quotes by Shannon Mullen
When we follow our hearts, we follow the path of lessons we were meant to take and gain knowledge from. Sometimes the heart conquers over reason, and this may lead us to making serious mistakes, but these are mistakes written for us to grow. This is the real reason you hear 'FOLLOW YOUR HEART'. And the real reason you hear, 'FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS' is because our dreams expose us to our true multidimensional realities outside of this delusional realm we call reality. Our TRUE reality can be found in our dreams, where we are our true multidimensional selves. ~ Suzy Kassem
Our Dreams quotes by Suzy Kassem
One way or another life sucks with all its beauty, and that is the time we give up on our dreams. ~ M.F. Moonzajer
Our Dreams quotes by M.F. Moonzajer
Until we are free to think for ourselves, our dreams are not free to unfold. ~ Nancy Kline
Our Dreams quotes by Nancy Kline
I've felt sometimes like I'd be less trouble if I'd just sit back and be quiet. But dreams are too important. We can't just let our dreams dry up and die, because then our hearts would break. ~ Brittney Ryan
Our Dreams quotes by Brittney Ryan
In geology we cannot dispense with conjectures: [but] because we are condemned to dream let us ensure that our dreams are like those of sane men-e.g. that they have their foundations in truth-and are not like the dreams of the sick, formed by strange combinations of phantasms, contrary to nature and therefore incredible. ~ Scipione Breislak
Our Dreams quotes by Scipione Breislak
Our dreams require us to betray who we "should" be for who we are to become. ~ Drew Gerald
Our Dreams quotes by Drew Gerald
Goddesses never die. They slip in and out of the world's cities, in and out of our dreams, century after century, answering to different names, dressed differently, perhaps even disguised, perhaps idle and unemployed, their official altars abandoned, their temples feared or simply forgotten. ~ Phyllis Chesler
Our Dreams quotes by Phyllis Chesler
Visualize what you want out of life and think big. Don't feel undeserving. We're all deserving of living our dreams - some of us realize it and some don't. You're not doing anyone any favors by living small. Embrace these truths and step up. The world is waiting. ~ Jillian Michaels
Our Dreams quotes by Jillian Michaels
We don't recount our dreams; we construct them with the materials of reality. We aren't looking for God, psychic truth or authenticity, but for esthetic effect. That's why I baptized our movement Structural, or Esthetic, Onirism. Dreams and music were our models. ~ Dumitru Tepeneag
Our Dreams quotes by Dumitru Tepeneag
If we don't chase our dreams then we will be ran over by our fears. ~ Chris Burkmenn
Our Dreams quotes by Chris Burkmenn
Our dreams and imagination set the limits of our achievement. ~ Debasish Mridha
Our Dreams quotes by Debasish Mridha
In many ways, this book is not about the politicians who are turning the ANC and Nelson Mandela's legacy into a nightmare. It is about all of us, South Africans, who keep quiet when our voices are needed. It is about those of us who keep quiet when journalists like Mzilikazi wa Afrika are arrested on trumped-up charges.11 It is about those of us who have forgotten that freedom is never fully achieved, but is defended and renewed every single day, in every square inch of space we occupy in the world. If the South Africa of our dreams withers and dies, it will be because we have stepped away from the public square. Where is the real ANC? Crucially, where are the men and women who fought so valiantly for this new South Africa? ~ Justice Malala
Our Dreams quotes by Justice Malala
Do our dreams carry messages from the great beyond, sent by the people we have lost, or are they a reflection of our desperation and wishful thinking? ~ Zeina Kassem
Our Dreams quotes by Zeina Kassem
We have lost that which has made us great over the generations, and that is the sense of individual and personal responsibility that we can come up, we can pursue our dreams and our aspirations and we won't be blocked by government regulation, by the inability to get a loan as a small business to make our dreams come true. ~ Jon Huntsman, Jr.
Our Dreams quotes by Jon Huntsman, Jr.
In our dreams, we can't see anything that we haven't put it there! ~ Mehmet Murat Ildan
Our Dreams quotes by Mehmet Murat Ildan
It's hard to tell
if we close our eyes or if night
opens in us other starred eyes,
if it burrows into the wall of our dream
till some other door opens.
But the dream
is only the flitting costume of one moment,
is spent in one beat
of the darkness,
and falls at our feet, cast off
as the day stirs and sails away with us."
-from "In the Tower ~ Pablo Neruda
Our Dreams quotes by Pablo Neruda
We are the women of daylight; of clocks and steel foundries, of drugstores and streetlights, of superhighways that slice our days in two. Our dreams are pale memories of themselves, and nagging doubt is the false measure of our days. ~ Paula Gunn Allen
Our Dreams quotes by Paula Gunn Allen
We are all affected by five things. But the most important thing that affects us is our dreams
our ability to see the future. But here's why we don't reach into the future. We're trapped either by regret of the past or the routine of the present. So make sure that the greatest pull on you is the pull of the future. ~ Jim Rohn
Our Dreams quotes by Jim Rohn
Babies, babies, babies! They're everywhere, aren't they? In our eyes, in our thoughts, in our arms, in our dreams. Sometimes, in our dreams, they are riding alpacas or juggling tacos - but that doesn't mean those dreams are necessarily about babies. Look, I'm not Freud. ~ Julie Klausner
Our Dreams quotes by Julie Klausner
Each moment of our life, we either invoke or destroy our dreams. We call upon it to become a fact, or we cancel our previous instructions.
~ Stuart Wilde
Our Dreams quotes by Stuart Wilde
Oh, must we dream our dreams
and have them, too? ~ Elizabeth Bishop
Our Dreams quotes by Elizabeth Bishop
I was his "little girl with the William Burroughs mind," his "secret fairy," "female Frank Zappa" and "window onto a magical world." He said I fell to earth, leaving wing-marks on the ceilings of our dreams. ~ Jalina Mhyana
Our Dreams quotes by Jalina Mhyana
Whenever we need to make a very important decision it is best to trust our instincts, because reason usually tries to remove us from our dream, saying that the time is not yet right. Reason is afraid of defeat, but intuition enjoys life and its challenges. ~ Paulo Coelho
Our Dreams quotes by Paulo Coelho
The main point here is that we are to desire something before faith can come into play. Our desires are of value to God. It's His will to fulfill our dreams. When we are delighting in the Lord, our dreams and desires are formed in His Spirit, timing and purpose. ~ Phil Pringle
Our Dreams quotes by Phil Pringle
Tis true what Hemingway says--if we're lucky enough to live our dreams in youth, as Ernest Hemingway did in 1920's Paris and I did with the Beat poets, then youth's dreams become a moveable feast you take wherever you go--youthful love remains the repast plentiful; exquisite, substantive and good. You can live on happy memories. Eat of them forever. ~ Alison Winfield Burns
Our Dreams quotes by Alison Winfield Burns
So I got lucky. But then again, it took me many hundreds of rejections to manage to find that luck.
I am sure there is a lesson n that somewhere.
Someone had taken a punt and had faith in me. I wouldn't let them down, and I would be eternally grateful to them for giving me that chance to shine.
Once DLE were on board, a few other companies joined them. It's funny how, once one person backs you, somehow other people feel more comfortable doing the same.
I guess most people don't like to trailblaze.
So before I knew it, suddenly, from nothing, I had the required funds for a place on the team. (In fact I was about £600 short, but Dad helped me out on that one, and refused to hear anything about ever being paid back. Great man.)
The dream of an attempt on Everest was now about to become a reality.
So many people over the years have asked me how to get sponsorship, but there is only one magic ingredient. Action. You just have to keep going.
Then keep going some more.
Our dreams are just wishes, if we never follow them through with action. And in life, you have got to be able to light your own fire.
The reality of planning big expeditions is often tedious and frustrating. There is no glamour in yet another potential sponsor's rejection letter, and I have often felt my own internal fire flickering close to snuff point.
Action is what keeps it alight. ~ Bear Grylls
Our Dreams quotes by Bear Grylls
since the Depression, we bankers have had the leisure and . . . solitude, you might say, to think about the future. The Civil War left us with a federal government. The Great War made us a creditor nation. As bankers, we must anticipate what changes this war will thrust upon us."
[…] The old man leaned forward and took a long breath. "I see the rise of this country to a height no country has occupied, ever," he said quietly. "Not the Romans. Not the Carolingians. Not Genghis Khan or the Tatars or Napoleon's France. Hah! You're all looking at me like I've one foot in the funny farm. How is that possible? you ask. Because our dominance won't arise from subjugating peoples. We'll emerge from this war victorious and unscathed, and become bankers to the world. We'll export our dreams, our language, our culture, our way of life. And it will prove irresistible. ~ Jennifer Egan
Our Dreams quotes by Jennifer Egan
In most of our dreams, our inner eye of reflection is shut and we sleep within our sleep. The exception takes place when we seem to awake within our dreams, without disturbing or ending the dream state, and learn to recognize that we are dreaming while the dream is still happening. ~ Stephen LaBerge
Our Dreams quotes by Stephen LaBerge
Such Small Things:
For a long time there were only your footprints & laughter in our dreams & even from such small things, we knew we could not wait to love you forever. ~ Brian Andreas
Our Dreams quotes by Brian Andreas
I told you that one day we'd both be able to reach for our dreams. Sometimes that means we have to let go of the people who would trample our souls so we can soar." Jen smiled sadly as she ran a finger over the ribbon charm. "And sometimes that means living in the moment and loving without restraint ... no matter how much time we may have together. ~ Peggy Martinez
Our Dreams quotes by Peggy Martinez
Reality is greater than our dreams. ~ Frederick Sommer
Our Dreams quotes by Frederick Sommer
Why is there never enough time to pursue my dreams? Yet, I have time to browse memes, laugh at cats doing silly things, and stare off into the distance. My dream is to do what I love and yet I still don't pursue that dream. When we fear failure we allow ourselves to fail every day by not pursuing our dreams. ~ Avina Celeste
Our Dreams quotes by Avina Celeste
Rage Against the Dying Light is my fairy tale, even though it is based on a true story. For everyone knows that fairy tales are not just fantasy. They are the inspiration that feeds our own courage and makes our dreams come true. ~ Jan Surasky
Our Dreams quotes by Jan Surasky
I allowed myself the supernatural, the transcendent, because, I told myself, our love of metaphor is pre-religious, born of our need to express what is inexpressible, our dreams of otherness, of more. ~ Salman Rushdie
Our Dreams quotes by Salman Rushdie
Death is a part of Life, they are dancing together the dance of infinity in front of the gates of Time. We can live our dreams as we are dreaming our future. Time is the Endless Consciousness ~ Grigoris Deoudis
Our Dreams quotes by Grigoris Deoudis
When we renounce our dreams, we find peace and enjoy a brief period of tranquility, but the dead dreams begin to rot inside us and to infect the whole atmosphere in which we live. What we hoped to avoid in the Fight - disappointment and defeat - become the sole legacy of our cowardice. ~ Paulo Coelho
Our Dreams quotes by Paulo Coelho
Can we reasonably expect happiness from an insatiable appetite which, no matter how it stuffs its belly, is still psychologically like Oliver Twist in the poorhouse, holding up an empty bowl and begging, "I want some more"? Isn't it possible that our dream of the good society contained, from the beginning, a hidden violation of the Tenth Commandment "Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's goods"? ~ Joy Davidman
Our Dreams quotes by Joy Davidman
We are all strangers in a strange land, longing for home, but not quite knowing what or where home is. We glimpse it sometimes in our dreams, or as we turn a corner, and suddenly there is a strange, sweet familiarity that vanishes almost as soon as it comes. ~ Madeleine L'Engle
Our Dreams quotes by Madeleine L'Engle
To disguise nothing, to conceal nothing, to write about those things that are closest to our pain, our happiness; to write about our sexual clumsiness, the agonies of Tantalus, the depth of our discouragement-what we glimpse in our dreams-our despair. To write about the foolish agonies of anxiety, the refreshment of our strength when these are ended; to write about our painful search for self, jeopardized by a stranger in the post office, a half-seen face in a train window, to write about the continents and populations of our dreams, about love and death, good and evil, the end of the world. ~ John Cheever
Our Dreams quotes by John Cheever
I realized then that for all of us part of the process of mom's dying was mourning, not just her death, but also the death of our dreams of things to come. You don't really lose the person who has been. ~ Will Schwalbe
Our Dreams quotes by Will Schwalbe
Being a man is a privilege, not an entitlement. It is a surrender of our priority. It is a laying down of our lives, not physically but inwardly - our preferences, our pleasures, sometimes even our dreams. Our version of Witold Pilecki's medals comes in the lives we offer to God, lives we have bled and sweated and prayed and given ourselves for. This is what it means to be a man. ~ Stephen Mansfield
Our Dreams quotes by Stephen Mansfield
There are only two lives we might live: our dream or our destiny. Sometimes they are one in the same, and sometimes they're not. Often our dreams are just a path to our destinies. ~ Glennon Doyle Melton
Our Dreams quotes by Glennon Doyle Melton
What we should do, I suggest, is to give up the idea of ultimate sources of knowledge, and admit that all knowledge is human; that it is mixed with our errors, our prejudices, our dreams, and our hopes; that all we can do is to grope for truth even though it be beyond our reach. We may admit that our groping is often inspired, but we must be on our guard against the belief, however deeply felt, that our inspiration carries any authority, divine or otherwise. If we thus admit that there is no authority beyond the reach of criticism to be found within the whole province of our knowledge, however far it may have penetrated into the unknown, then we can retain, without danger, the idea that truth is beyond human authority. And we must retain it. For without this idea there can be no objective standards of inquiry; no criticism of our conjectures; no groping for the unknown; no quest for knowledge. ~ Karl Popper
Our Dreams quotes by Karl Popper
I think cinema is closer to allegories than to reality. It's closer to our dreams. ~ Manuel Puig
Our Dreams quotes by Manuel Puig
I guess we need to keep adjusting our dreams to fit reality, because life is not going to cooperate. Maybe this makes me a defeatist, but I'd prefer to think of myself as realist. ~ Cassia Leo
Our Dreams quotes by Cassia Leo
DiMaggio's grace came to represent more than athletic skill in those years. To the men who wrote about the game, it was a talisman, a touchstone, a symbol of the limitless potential of the human individual. That an Italian immigrant, a fisherman's son, could catch fly balls the way Keats wrote poetry or Beethoven wrote sonatas was more than just a popular marvel. It was proof positive that democracy was real. On the baseball diamond, if nowhere else, America was truly a classless society. DiMaggio's grace embodied the democracy of our dreams. ~ David Halberstam
Our Dreams quotes by David Halberstam
After each night we are emptier: our mysteries and our griefs have leaked away into our dreams. Thus sleep's labor not only diminishes the power of our thought, but even that of our secrets. ~ Emil Cioran
Our Dreams quotes by Emil Cioran
Love makes us sick, haunts our dreams, destroys our days. Love has killed more than any disease. ~ Rumplestiltskin
Our Dreams quotes by Rumplestiltskin
We communicate at a superior dimension, when we live our dreams. ~ Anyaele Sam Chiyson
Our Dreams quotes by Anyaele Sam Chiyson
Sometimes we have to let our dreams go in order to allow God to bring them back to us - in his way and his timing. ~ Melody Carlson
Our Dreams quotes by Melody Carlson
In our dreams, we find the dreams of others, and in other's dreams we find ourselves. No will is separated from others and no dream is in itself isolated from the will of God. ~ Robin Sacredfire
Our Dreams quotes by Robin Sacredfire
The glory of the world is transitory, and we should not measure our lives by it, but by the choice we make to follow our personal legend, to believe in our utopias and to fight for our dreams. ~ Paulo Coelho
Our Dreams quotes by Paulo Coelho
Disillusionment takes us to the question: what does it profit a man if he gains this world and loses himself? And disillusionment exposes that while we were supposedly serving the kingdom, we somehow became the king, and when we thought we were following Jesus, we inexplicably made him a servant of our dreams. The only real tragedy is the leader who never allows disillusionment to wear him to a nub and expose the godlessness of his busyness. ~ Dan B. Allender
Our Dreams quotes by Dan B. Allender
We all have our dreams. May we find them, and God have mercy on us when we do. ~ Tanith Lee
Our Dreams quotes by Tanith Lee
All of us gave it all we've got, overcame a whole lot just being on the show and learned a lot about ourselves. We're just normal people trying to do what we love and follow our dreams. ~ Carrie Underwood
Our Dreams quotes by Carrie Underwood
Freud, as I've already noted, believed that the false worlds of our dreams reveal deep and hidden truths about ourselves. ~ Kathryn Schulz
Our Dreams quotes by Kathryn Schulz
Even the death won't be an end of our dreams.Take your dreams to the tomb ~ Mohammed Sekouty
Our Dreams quotes by Mohammed Sekouty
It is the main motivation of humankind to be free, to express our true selves and pursue our dreams without restriction - to experience what may be called Personal Freedom. ~ Brendon Burchard
Our Dreams quotes by Brendon Burchard
As parents we carry the blueprints, the dreams of what our family could be. The plans change, the whole thing goes way over budget, there are unexpected additions, and the work never ends. Still, through the messiness of construction we see each other with such depth and hope. Our five year-old boy is still so clearly the baby he once was and sometimes - can you see it? - the young man he will one day be. We draw energy and inspiration from our dreams; our simple, common motivations.
SIMPLICITY PARENTING ~ Lisa Ross
Our Dreams quotes by Lisa Ross
Some of us let our dreams die, but others nourish and protect them, nurse them through bad days 'till they bring them to sunshine and light. ~ Woodrow Wilson
Our Dreams quotes by Woodrow Wilson
The great function of poetry is to give back to us the situations of our dreams. ~ Gaston Bachelard
Our Dreams quotes by Gaston Bachelard
Before we choose our tools and technology, we must choose our dreams and values, for some technologies serve them, while others make them more unobtainable. ~ Marilyn Ferguson
Our Dreams quotes by Marilyn Ferguson
Beauty is equal parts flesh and imagination: we imbue it with our dreams, saturate it with our longings. ~ Nancy Etcoff
Our Dreams quotes by Nancy Etcoff
Somewhere along the line we stopped believing we could do anything. And if we don't have our dreams, we have nothing. ~ Billy Bob Thornton
Our Dreams quotes by Billy Bob Thornton
We are slumberous poppies,
Lords of Lethe downs,
Some awake and some asleep,
Sleeping in our crowns.
What perchance our dreams may know,
Let our serious may know. ~ Leigh Hunt
Our Dreams quotes by Leigh Hunt
COBB: Our dreams feel real while we're in them. It's only when we wake we realize things were strange.

Ariadne gestures around them-

ARIADNE: But all the textures of real life-the stone, the fabric... cars... people... your mind can't create all this.

COBB: It does. Every time you dream. Let me ask you a question: You never remember the beginning of your dreams, do you? You just turn up in the middle of what's going on.

ARIADNE: I guess.

COBB: So... how did we end up at this restaurant? ~ Christopher J. Nolan
Our Dreams quotes by Christopher J. Nolan
The day our memories become larger than our dreams is the day our soul begins to shrink. - IKE REIGHARD ~ Zig Ziglar
Our Dreams quotes by Zig Ziglar
I don't think you should spend your life praying for things, but I do believe you should thank God for what He's given you ... but I think the scripture teaches us that we can pray for our dreams, pray for the big things ... he's not a small God; this God is incredible. ~ Joel Osteen
Our Dreams quotes by Joel Osteen
Do we scream in the night when it touches our dreams? No. We don't dream about it because we don't think about it; we don't think about it because we don't care about it. We are much more interested in law and order, so that American streets may be made safe while we transform those of (Iraq) into flowing sewers of blood which we replenish each year by forcing our sons to choose between a prison cell here or a coffin there. 'Every time I look at the flag, my eyes fill with tears.' Mine too. ~ Dalton Trumbo
Our Dreams quotes by Dalton Trumbo
On the water, I can see Sukey's ships, dark cities of their own. They are objects I will never touch, places I will never stand, sleeping giants that would not be disturbed even if all the shimmering lights and pretty buildings on land crumbled and fell down. Maybe we all need ships to hold our dreams, to be bigger and steadier than we ever could be, and to guard the mystery when we cannot, to keep it safe even when we have lost everything. ~ Hilary T. Smith
Our Dreams quotes by Hilary T. Smith
Our thoughts, our feelings, our dreams, our ideas, are physical in the universe. ~ Will Smith
Our Dreams quotes by Will Smith
[It is] our inclination to replace Jesus' call to deny ourselves, take up our crosses and follow him. We replace his call with a self-serving path in which we deny our neighbors, take up our comforts and follow our dreams. ~ Scott Sauls
Our Dreams quotes by Scott Sauls
It's funny how nothing really turns out the way we expect it to, no matter how certain the future seems. I guess we need to keep adjusting our dreams to fit ~ Cassia Leo
Our Dreams quotes by Cassia Leo
Procrastination, fear, and uncertainty are what I like to call the enemies of progress, preventing us from pursuing our dreams and achieving the goals we set for ourselves. ~ Orly Wahba
Our Dreams quotes by Orly Wahba
A human beings' perception of reality emanates from viewing the universe, which is in a constant state of creation and destruction. The universe in which we move and work in outlasts human interests, hopes, expectations, and joy, and all forms of aversion, effort, pain, and humiliation. The world outlasts our dreams, love songs, bouts of inanity and anxiety, it outlast regrets, remorse, and shame. ~ Kilroy J. Oldster
Our Dreams quotes by Kilroy J. Oldster
Many of us live with incredible tension and anxiety because we think that our dreams will come true if we just get the right degree, if we just meet the right people, if we just get the right job. We assume our happiness is tied to our success, and our success depends on our performance. So we sweat and struggle and scheme and strategize, and we wonder why we aren't enjoying life. ~ Judah Smith
Our Dreams quotes by Judah Smith
Let us keep the dance of rain our fathers kept and tread our dreams beneath the jungle sky. ~ Arna Bontemps
Our Dreams quotes by Arna Bontemps
SOME SAID that the men had been put on trains and sent far away, over the mountains, to the coldest part of the country. Some said they were enemy collaborators and would be deported within days. Some said they had been shot. Many of us dismissed the rumors as rumors but found ourselves spreading them - wildly, recklessly, and seemingly against our own will - nonetheless. Others of us refused to speak of the missing men by day but at night they came to us in our dreams. ~ Julie Otsuka
Our Dreams quotes by Julie Otsuka
Millennials: We lost the genetic lottery. We graduated high school into terrorist attacks and wars. We graduated college into a recession and mounds of debt. We will never acquire the financial cushion, employment stability, and material possessions of our parents. We are often more educated, experienced, informed, and digitally fluent than prior generations, yet are constantly haunted by the trauma of coming of age during the detonation of the societal structure we were born into. But perhaps we are overlooking the silver lining. We will have less money to buy the material possessions that entrap us. We will have more compassion and empathy because our struggles have taught us that even the most privileged can fall from grace. We will have the courage to pursue our dreams because we have absolutely nothing to lose. We will experience the world through backpacking, couch surfing, and carrying on interesting conversations with adventurers in hostels because our bank accounts can't supply the Americanized resorts. Our hardships will obligate us to develop spiritual and intellectual substance. Maybe having roommates and buying our clothes at thrift stores isn't so horrible as long as we are making a point to pursue genuine happiness. ~ Maggie Georgiana Young
Our Dreams quotes by Maggie Georgiana Young
In our dreams we have seen another world, an honest world, a world decidedly more fair than the one in which we now live. We saw that in this world there was no need for armies; peace, justice and liberty were so common that no one talked about them as far-off concepts, but as things such as bread, birds, air, water, like book and voice. ~ Subcomandante Marcos
Our Dreams quotes by Subcomandante Marcos
More than anything else, kindness is a way of life. It is a way of living and walking through life. It is a way of dealing with all that is-our selves, our bodies, our dreams and goals, our neighbors, our competitors, our enemies, our air, our earth, our animals, our space, our time, and our very consciousness. Do we treat all creation with kindness? Isn't all creation holy and divine? ~ Jean Maalouf
Our Dreams quotes by Jean Maalouf
Every day, each of us makes a multitude of choices that will impact our lives ... the quality of our choices will dictate whether we will struggle in frustration or live an extraordinary life
the life of our dreams. ~ Debbie Ford
Our Dreams quotes by Debbie Ford
We're not always in the position that we want to be at. We're constantly growing We're constantly making mistakes. We're constantly trying to express ourselves and actualize our dreams. ~ Kanye West
Our Dreams quotes by Kanye West
We have weathered the worst storms and the safety of the shore, though distant, is in sight. We can look to the future with robust confidence provided we do not relax and fritter away our energies in internal dissensions. There never was greater need for discipline and unity in our ranks. It is only with united effort and faith in our destiny that we shall be able to translate the Pakistan of our dreams into reality. ~ Muhammad Ali Jinnah
Our Dreams quotes by Muhammad Ali Jinnah
In an attempt to attain our dreams, we ought to let go of the fear to succeed. ~ Floranova B. Msc.
