In Matthew 16:19, Jesus said that He would give us the keys to the Kingdom. Faith is the major key that opens every door in the Kingdom. It is a master key. Therefore it is imperative that we understand the ways of faith. Because these keys are the ways of God the natural man cannot receive them. They are spiritually understood. They are foolishness to the natural man. When a gift of the Spirit operates. Then we are able to impart that gift to others and teach them how to function in it also.

If a man knows what he wants, then he is in a position to decide that he will get it. This is faith. The determined decision of a man with desire.

Faith is the collateral of heaven. It is what you use to trade with in heaven.

Visions possess greater significance than just entertainment! Visions have power.

Right now in my life I spend much time dreaming over my visions of faith. I know this works. I would be a fool to ignore it. Remember, one of the mightiest keys in the Kingdom of Heaven is faith. Vision is a major part of faith, for we walk by faith and not by sight. Faith is directly contrasted to natural eye sight.

My work with churches has led me to the conclusion that the single most important element in having an effective and life-changing ministry is to capture God's vision for your ministry.

The main point here is that we are to desire something before faith can come into play. Our desires are of value to God. It's His will to fulfill our dreams. When we are delighting in the Lord, our dreams and desires are formed in His Spirit, timing and purpose.

Faith is knowing something that no-one else does.

Mental strength is extremely important. We must be able to put troublesome people out of our minds. They should not be able to distract our focus. This relates to casting our cares on the Lord (1 Peter 5:7).

For the provision of God constantly to be at work in our lives we must activate the laws of God.

Faith is a creative force. When we operate by faith, we employ the creative power of God.

If we cannot serve a person who we can see, how can we serve a God whom we cannot see? Some just have to have their own thing and be the "boss". I grieve for these people who have become the King of their own tiny mound, when they could have been a Prince in a major organization.

Goal setting is another integral part of achieving any dream. It is what takes a supernatural vision into the material realm where we can see it being accomplished.

Image promises much but produces litte. Integrity, however, never disappoints. For me, integrity means living it myself before leading others to live it.

The leader feels the pulse of a burning passion and communicates that heat at every opportunity. He or she lives the dream, breathes the vision, sleeps the mission, and eats the goals every day. The leader shares those goals all the time with everyone. It is a vibration the entire organization can feel.

The promises of God become the power of God when they are believed and acted upon.

The source of faith is the Word of God.

Good leaders hold positive, views of the future. We believe God fulfills our dreams, and our dreams are enlarged. Our desires exceed what we currently have and where we currently are.

The leader is the bell ringer, the trumpet blower, the drum beater, the vibration maker, and the vision caster ... A great leader imparts the burden, inspires commitment, and sets the pace for achievement of God's purpose.

It is said if an organization listens to the complaint of a customer and the problem is fixed, the customer remains a loyal customer and tells approximately seven others about the experience. Conversely, if a person is ignored and the problem not fixed, that customer will not deal with that organization anymore and will tell approximately twenty other people about the negative experience.

Faith is lifeless unless you act on it. T.L. Osbourne says: "When the promises of God are believed and acted upon they become the power of God". We can do all the things we have previously talked about about: desire, decision, prayer, speaking faith, seeing the answer, but if we don't act our faith it is all to no avail.

Leaders are creators. They bring their visions to fruitition through the creative process.

Good ideas are not good enough. They need to be God ideas. Just because someone else's methods work does not mean they will work for us. God plants a unique set of gifts within each of us as leaders, enabling us to do a particular work for Him in a particular way. If we deny those, opting for something else that appeals to us, we forsake the means by which God wants to give us success (1Timothy 4:14).
