Rabillo De Cadera quotes by Antonio Ermirio De Moraes
Eight Bells: Robert J. Kane '55D died June 3, 2017, in Palm Harbor, Florida. He came to MMA by way of Boston College. Bob or "Killer," as he was affectionately known, was an independent and eccentric soul, enjoying the freedom of life. After a career at sea as an Officer in the U.S. Navy and in the Merchant Marine he retired to an adventurous single life living with his two dogs in a mobile home, which had originally been a "Yellow School Bus." He loved watching the races at Daytona, Florida, telling stories about his interesting deeds about flying groceries to exotic Caribbean Islands, and misdeeds with mysterious ladies he had known. For years he spent his summers touring Canada and his winters appreciating the more temperate weather at Fort De Soto in St. Petersburg, Florida…. Enjoying life in the shadow of the Sunshine Bridge, Bob had an artistic flare, a positive attitude and a quick sense of humor. Not having a family, few people were aware that he became crippled by a hip replacement operation gone bad at the Bay Pines VA Hospital. His condition became so bad that he could hardly get around, but he remained in good spirits until he suffered a totally debilitating stroke. For the past 6 years Bob spent his time at various Florida Assisted Living Facilities, Nursing Homes and Palliative Care Hospitals. His end came when he finally wound up as a terminal patient at the Hospice Facility in Palm Harbor, Florida. Bob was 86 years old when he passed. He will be missed…. ~ Hank Bracker
Rabillo De Cadera quotes by Hank Bracker
A lot of good arguments are spoiled by some fool who knows what they're talking about. ~ Miguel De Unamuno
Rabillo De Cadera quotes by Miguel De Unamuno
Social media has lots of benefits, but compared to Christianity, it tends to group people by interests. Religion puts you with people who have nothing in common except that you're human. ~ Alain De Botton
Rabillo De Cadera quotes by Alain De Botton
I have heard much of these languishing lovers, but I never yet saw one of them die for love. ~ Marguerite De Navarre
Rabillo De Cadera quotes by Marguerite De Navarre
It is indeed hard for the strong to be just to the weak, but acting justly always has its rewards. ~ Eamon De Valera
Rabillo De Cadera quotes by Eamon De Valera
Recuerdo que algún día yo le hablé de mi río
y una como tormenta se agitó en sus estrañas.
No sé si fue mi pecho que tembló de recuerdo
o si fueron mis ojos que asomaron nostalgias."

"I remember a day when I spoke of my river
and something like a storm stirred in his being.
Was it my breast that trembled with the memory
Was it nostalgia that showed through my eyes ~ Julia De Burgos
Rabillo De Cadera quotes by Julia De Burgos
Charming, charming,' the lawyer said at intervals. ~ Guy De Maupassant
Rabillo De Cadera quotes by Guy De Maupassant
The French under the old monarchy held it for a maxim that the king could do no wrong . The Americans entertain the same opinion with respect to the majority ... If ever the free institutions of America are destroyed, that event may be attributed to the omnipotence of the majority. ~ Alexis De Tocqueville
Rabillo De Cadera quotes by Alexis De Tocqueville
I was not long since in a company where I was not who of my fraternity brought news of a kind of pills, by true account, composed of a hundred and odd several ingredients; whereat we laughed very heartily, and made ourselves good sport; for what rock so hard were able to resist the shock or withstand the force of so thick and numerous a battery? ~ Michel De Montaigne
Rabillo De Cadera quotes by Michel De Montaigne
The founders and grand theorists of modern (quantum and relativity) physics: Einstein, Schroedinger, Heisenberg, Bohr, Eddington, Pauli, de Broglie, Jeans, and Planck. ~ Ken Wilber
Rabillo De Cadera quotes by Ken Wilber
We're so quick to cut away pieces of ourselves to suit a particular relationship, a job, a circle of friends, incessantly editing who we are until we fit in. ~ Charles De Lint
Rabillo De Cadera quotes by Charles De Lint
Removing the faults in a stage-coach may produce a perfect stage-coach, but it is unlikely to produce the first motor car. ~ Edward De Bono
Rabillo De Cadera quotes by Edward De Bono
The state of emotional intoxication allows one to grasp existence in one's self and in the other, as both subjectivity and passivity. The two partners merge in this ambiguous unity; each one is freed of his own presence and achieves immediate communication with the other. ~ Simone De Beauvoir
Rabillo De Cadera quotes by Simone De Beauvoir
There is hardly a political question in the United States which does not sooner or later turn into a judicial one. ~ Alexis De Tocqueville
Rabillo De Cadera quotes by Alexis De Tocqueville
I am lost! Someone has taken over my mind and is controlling it! Someone is in command of all my actions, movements, and thoughts. I am nothing inside, merely a spectator enslaved and terrified by everything I do. ~ Guy De Maupassant
Rabillo De Cadera quotes by Guy De Maupassant
You have to endure what you can't change. ~ Marie De France
Rabillo De Cadera quotes by Marie De France
Perhaps, also this short embrace may infuse in their veins a little of this thrill which they would not have known without it, and will give to those two dead souls, brought to life in a second, the rapid and divine sensation of this intoxication, of this madness which gives to lovers more happiness in an instant than other men can gather during a whole lifetime. ~ Guy De Maupassant
Rabillo De Cadera quotes by Guy De Maupassant
The enemy is typically depicted as a dangerous octopus, a vicious dragon, a multiheaded hydra, a giant venomous tarantula, or an engulfing Leviathan. Other frequently used symbols include vicious predatory felines or birds, monstrous sharks, and ominous snakes, particularly vipers and boa constrictors. Scenes depicting strangulation or crushing, ominous whirlpools, and treacherous quicksands also abound in pictures from the time of wars, revolutions, and political crises. The juxtaposition of paintings from non-ordinary states of consciousness that depict perinatal experiences with the historical pictorial documentation collected by Lloyd de Mause and Sam Keen offer strong evidence for the perinatal roots of human violence. ~ Stanislav Grof
Rabillo De Cadera quotes by Stanislav Grof
I was so afraid. I was afraid of losing you."
"Never, my love. We will always be together. ~ Melissa De La Cruz
Rabillo De Cadera quotes by Melissa De La Cruz

Rabillo De Cadera quotes by Miguel De Cervantes Saavedra
I believed that I wanted to be a poet, but deep down I wanted to be a poem. ~ Jaime Gil De Biedma
Rabillo De Cadera quotes by Jaime Gil De Biedma
Cunning is none of the best nor worst qualities; it floats between virtue and vice; there is scarce any exigence where it may not, and perhaps ought not to be supplied by prudence. ~ Jean De La Bruyere
Rabillo De Cadera quotes by Jean De La Bruyere
The Telephone will democratize hierarchic relations. ~ Ithiel De Sola Pool
Rabillo De Cadera quotes by Ithiel De Sola Pool
The absence of risk is a sure sign of mediocrity. ~ Charles De Foucauld

There is at least as much eloquence in the voice, eyes, and air of a speaker as in his choice of words. ~ Francois De La Rochefoucauld
Rabillo De Cadera quotes by Francois De La Rochefoucauld
Men may deprive me of property and honour; sickness may take away my strength and other means of serving You; I may even lose Your grace by sin; but never, never will I lose my hope in You. I will cherish it unto that dreadful moment when all hell will be unchained to snatch my soul away. "No one has hoped in the Lord and has been confounded" ~ Claude De La Colombiere
Rabillo De Cadera quotes by Claude De La Colombiere
When you have grown old, newness always comes from the inside. ~ Marie De Hennezel
Rabillo De Cadera quotes by Marie De Hennezel

Rabillo De Cadera quotes by Amy Leigh Mercree
It has pleased Nature so to make us that we attain happiness only by way of pain. ~ Marquis De Sade
Rabillo De Cadera quotes by Marquis De Sade
Don't panic. Midway through writing a novel, I have regularly experienced moments of bowel-curdling terror, as I contemplate the drivel on the screen before me and see beyond it, in quick succession, the derisive reviews, the friends' embarrassment, the failing career, the dwindling income, the repossessed house, the divorce ... Working doggedly on through crises like these, however, has always got me there in the end. Leaving the desk for a while can help. Talking the problem through can help me recall what I was trying to achieve before I got stuck. Going for a long walk almost always gets me thinking about my manuscript in a slightly new way. And if all else fails, there's prayer. St Francis de Sales, the patron saint of writers, has often helped me out in a crisis. If you want to spread your net more widely, you could try appealing to Calliope, the muse of epic poetry, too. ~ Sarah Waters
Rabillo De Cadera quotes by Sarah Waters
It is an absolute and virtually divine perfection to know how to enjoy our being rightfully. ~ Michel De Montaigne
Rabillo De Cadera quotes by Michel De Montaigne
A lofty mind always thinks nobly, it easily creates vivid, agreeable, and natural fancies, places them in their best light, clothes them with all appropriate adornments, studies others' tastes, and clears away from its own thoughts all that is useless and disagreeable. ~ Francois De La Rochefoucauld
Rabillo De Cadera quotes by Francois De La Rochefoucauld
A spring sun was shining on the rue St. Honore, as I ran down the church steps. On one corner stood a barrow full of yellow jonquils, pale violets from the Riviera, dark Russian violets, and white Roman hyacinths in a golden cloud of mimosa. The street was full of Sunday pleasure-seekers. I swung my cane and laughed with the rest. Someone overtook and passed me. He never turned, but there was the same deadly malignity in his white profile that there had been in his eyes. I watched him as long as I could see him. His lithe back expressed the same menace; every step that carried him away from me seemed to bear him on some errand connected with my destruction.

I was creeping along, my feet almost refusing to move. There began to dawn in me a sense of responsibility for something long forgotten. It began to seem as if I deserved that which he threatened: it reached a long way back - a long, long way back. It had lain dormant all these. years: it was there though, and presently it would rise and confront me. But I would try to escape; and I stumbled as best I could into the rue de Rivioli, across the Place de la Concorde and on to the Quai. I looked with sick eyes upon the sun, shining through the white foam of the fountain, pouring over the backs of the dusky bronze river-gods, on the far-away Arc, a structure of amethyst mist, on the countless vistas of grey stems and bare branches faintly green. Then I saw him again coming down one of the chestnut alleys of the Cours ~ Robert W. Chambers
Rabillo De Cadera quotes by Robert W. Chambers
A true leader always keeps an element of surprise up his sleeve, which others cannot grasp but which keeps his public excited and breathless. ~ Charles De Gaulle
Rabillo De Cadera quotes by Charles De Gaulle
You're gonna be ok, dum de dum dum dum, just dance. ~ Ellen DeGeneres
Rabillo De Cadera quotes by Ellen DeGeneres
It is said that in those days one could hear seventy languages in the streets of Istanbul. The vast Ottoman Empire, shrunken and weakened though it now was, had made it normal and natural for Greeks to inhabit Egypt, Persians to settle in Arabia and Albanians to live with Slavs. Christians and Muslims of all sects, Alevis, Zoroastrians, Jews, worshippers of the Peacock Angel, subsisted side by side in the most improbable places and combinations. There were Muslim Greeks, Catholic Armenians, Arab Christians and Serbian Jews. Istanbul was the hub of this broken-felloed wheel, and there could be found epitomised the fantastical bedlam and babel, which although no one realised it at the time, was destined to be the model and precursor of all the world's great metropoles a hundred years hence, by which time Istanbul itself would, paradoxically, have lost its cosmopolitan brilliance entirely. It would be destined, perhaps, one day to find it again, if only the devilish false idols of nationalism, that specious patriotism of the morally stunted, might finally be toppled in the century to come. ~ Louis De Bernieres
Rabillo De Cadera quotes by Louis De Bernieres
The life of a man who deliberately runs through his fortune often becomes a business speculation; his friends, his pleasures, patrons, and acquaintances are his capital. ~ Honore De Balzac
Rabillo De Cadera quotes by Honore De Balzac
A man's age is something impressive, it sums up his life: maturity reached slowly and against many obstacles, illnesses cured, griefs and despairs overcome, and unconscious risks taken; maturity formed through so many desires, hopes, regrets, forgotten things, loves. A man's age represents a fine cargo of experience and memories. ~ Antoine De Saint Exupery
Rabillo De Cadera quotes by Antoine De Saint Exupery
I am always loath to use the world 'evil,' but if 'evil' is the reverse of 'live,' Guy de Rothschild is thoroughly evil. He stands for the opposite of life. ~ David Icke
Rabillo De Cadera quotes by David Icke
Few persons enjoy real liberty; we are all slaves to ideas or habits. ~ Alfred De Musset
Rabillo De Cadera quotes by Alfred De Musset
for what is the good of going away and having adventures if we cannot talk about them when we come home ~ Mrs. George De Horne Vaizey
