Philosophy is the song of conscience and music the of thoughts. ~ Debasish Mridha
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Debasish Mridha
I've learned to sell my music, I've learned to direct, I've written screenplays ... All of this fulfilled my artistic needs but also put food on the table. ~ Robby Benson
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Robby Benson
All we've got is Now. Life, composed of a billion moments, from our first to our last thoughts. ~ Max McKeown
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Max McKeown
I maintain, despite the moment's evidence against the claim, that we are born and grow up with a fondness for each other, and we have genes for that. We can be talked out of it, for the genetic message is like a distant music, and some of us are hard-of-hearing. Societies are noisy affairs, drowning out the sound of ourselves and our connection. ~ Lewis Thomas
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Lewis Thomas
The angels are a strange genus, they are precisely what they are and cannot be anything else. They are themselves soul-less beings who represent nothing but the thoughts and intuitions of their Lord. ~ Carl Jung
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Carl Jung
The moment we notice our thoughts is one of the most transformative experiences we can have. ~ Teresa DeCicco
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Teresa DeCicco
Within us - the heart of us, really - is a 'ground' that is to our thoughts and feelings, our relationships with others and ourselves, as is the Earth to the leaves that first race across her and then, no longer able to run, give themselves up to nourish her body so that she may give birth again come the spring. ~ Guy Finley
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Guy Finley
I wonder, with all the flowers in the garden, how many of them ever think of hanging themselves with the garden hose, if ever they can. ~ Anthony Liccione
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Anthony Liccione
He said that the principal function of music was to organize the details into harmonies that were intended to make us forget that there was randomness all around us. The same, he said, could be said for great books. ~ Selden Edwards
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Selden Edwards
Well Dennis you don't have to hear any
of the mountain music they play here.
Telling the young lies so that they can learn to get old.
Favouring them
with biscuits. "It's a mighty rough road from Lynchburg to
Danville, declension on a three mile grade." In either case
collision course. You either pick up the music or you don't. ~ Jack Spicer
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Jack Spicer
So much of the effort that goes into writing prose for me is about making sentences that capture the music that I'm hearing in my head. It takes a lot of work, writing, writing, and rewriting to get the music exactly the way you want it to be. ~ Jonathan Lethem
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Jonathan Lethem
Fall asleep. Yes, you fall asleep. You are awake and then you close your eyes and thoughts press in and lucidity invades but then, eventually, you teeter on the edge of slumber and fall. ~ Maggie Stiefvater
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Maggie Stiefvater
Every man that tried to destroy the Government, every man that shot at the holy flag in heaven, every man that starved our soldiers ... every man that wanted to burn the negro, every one that wanted to scatter yellow fever in the North, every man that opposed human liberty, that regarded the auction-block as an altar and the howling of the bloodhound as the music of the Union, every man who wept over the corpse of slavery, that thought lashes on the naked back were a legal tender for labour performed, every one willing to rob a mother of her child - every solitary one was a Democrat. ~ Robert Green Ingersoll
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Robert Green Ingersoll
I feel like a lot of the fundamental material, I've assimilated. So now the question is: Am I going to really get into my spiritual inheritance of music and really develop my abilities? ~ Wynton Marsalis
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Wynton Marsalis
Emotions of any kind are produced by melody and rhythm; therefore by music a man becomes accustomed to feeling the right emotions; music has thus the power to form character, and the various kinds of music based on various modes may be distinguished by their effects on character. ~ Aristotle.
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Aristotle.
I was always keen to get involved in the school drama productions and was a member of the school choir. I was lucky to have attended schools that took music and drama very seriously and the teachers were just brilliant. ~ Bronagh Gallagher
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Bronagh Gallagher
But a very large piece of my carefulness had always been listening to the subtle whisperings of the Dark Passenger, and it was still being strangely shy about sharing its thoughts. ~ Jeff Lindsay
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Jeff Lindsay
I think the problem with a lot of the fusion music is that it's extremely predictable, it's a rock rhythm and the solos all play the same stuff and they play it over and over again and there's a certain musical virtuosity involved in it. ~ Ken Burns
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Ken Burns
Every ear is tickled with the sweet music of applause. ~ Isaac Barrow
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Isaac Barrow
But the constant motion of the flames soon lulled him into a passive state where unrelated fragments of thoughts, sounds, images, and emotions drifted through him like snowflakes falling from a calm winter's sky. ~ Christopher Paolini
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Christopher Paolini
Truth is independent of all dogmas, ancient or modern. ~ Abhijit Naskar
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Abhijit Naskar
Warning: This read will cause lack of sleep! You wont want to put it down!

July 13, 2016 by Francine Baia
This was a long awaited novel in the Sword of the God series and it was most definitely well worth the wait. The author provides an all encompassing look into the inner thoughts and machinations of each character which is commanding. She tackles several serious subjects that are current in today's society, including PTSD and how it affects people differently and the devastation it causes on family. Several love stories are explored which keeps the readers on edge and wanting more. The integration of languages and cultures are seamless and readily understandable which bolsters the depth of the multiple storylines and at times is masterfully interlaced with comic relief. This is truly an enjoyable read that you will find difficult to put down. Anxiously anticipating the next installment! ~ Anna Erishkigal
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Anna Erishkigal
Film composers are the most prolific music makers on this planet, and most of us are, like, losing our minds if we're doing five or more movies in a year. ~ Christopher Young
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Christopher Young
We have tons of live performances that we're putting on there. We have music videos. There's a music video for the song called I Am Jesus what is one of the funniest music videos, like we just could not find a place for it in the movie, but it's like crazy funny. And we have the whole video. ~ Nicholas Stoller
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Nicholas Stoller
My grandfather and my father disagreed about music, not least of all because my dad wanted to improvise. It wasn't just that he wanted to play different music; it was just that he came off the dots. ~ Elvis Costello
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Elvis Costello
I measure my days by the number of homicidal thoughts I have. I only had two today. So it must have been good. ~ Lida Sideris
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Lida Sideris
How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! How great is the sum of them!
If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand. ~ Psalms 139
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Psalms 139
…of constipation of the brain & diarrhea of the mouth. ~ Jack Kerouac
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Jack Kerouac
When you sing R&B songs in front of an audience, you look out and there's 85% women. I think R&B music is sort of designed for a man singing to a woman. I don't sing it like the sexy thing, but sort of pseudo-sexy. We rally the women together because it's about being independent and things like that. ~ Jamie Foxx
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Jamie Foxx
Touch my song with your lips, make it immortal,
be my beloved, make my love immortal.
No restriction of age, not the bond of lives,
when someone love should see only the soul,
by carving new trend, make the trend immortal.
Loneliness of the sky is in my lone heart,
with rattleing paayal enter into my life,
by giving own breaths make the music immortal
make the music immortal, make my song immortal.
World snatched from me, whatever was beloved to me,
all won from me, I lost at every moment,
by losing your heart you make my victory immortal.
written By Honthon Se Chhoo Lo Tum - Jagjit Singh ~ Nirav Sanchaniya
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Nirav Sanchaniya
Music was the only voice of cinema for a very long time before we had sound; it's organically linked to cinema itself. ~ Xavier Dolan
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Xavier Dolan
I distrust speech therapy. Words are the language of lies and evasions. Music cannot lie. Music talks to the heart. ~ Alasdair Gray
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Alasdair Gray
I've written a lot of music, so to be able to put that together and play some shows around the country and elsewhere - that would really be a fun thing to do. ~ Oscar Isaac
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Oscar Isaac
I liked him, but since his particular field of interest was Remote Suggestion
the skill of projecting thoughts into people's heads from a distance
I didn't know whether I actually liked him or he was just suggesting I like him, which was both creepy and unethical. In fact, the whole Remote Suggestion or "seeding" idea had been banned once it was discovered to be the key ingredient in promoting talent less boy bands, which had until then been something of a mystery. ~ Jasper Fforde
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Jasper Fforde
I had built such a wall between my experiences and how I felt about those experiences that I was incapable of reliving both simultaneously. I could talk about my traumas, even walk through them, but I couldn't feel them. When I tried to bring it all together, when I tried to remember how I had felt, I disappeared in my own head. My to-do list took on grave importance. The book I read the night before filled my thoughts. Yesterday's article suddenly called out to be rewritten. I couldn't get inside myself. ~ Sarah Hackley
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Sarah Hackley
The average man votes below himself; he votes with half a mind or a hundredth part of one. A man ought to vote with the whole of himself, as he worships or gets married. A man ought to vote with his head and heart, his soul and stomach, his eye for faces and his ear for music; also (when sufficiently provoked) with his hands and feet. If he has ever seen a fine sunset, the crimson color of it should creep into his vote. The question is not so much whether only a minority of the electorate votes. The point is that only a minority of the voter votes. ~ Gilbert K. Chesterton
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Gilbert K. Chesterton
Lord of the springtime, Father of flower, field and fruit, smile on us in these earnest days when the work is heavy and the toil wearisome; lift up our hearts, O God, to the things worthwhile-sunshine and night, the dripping rain, the song of the birds, books and music, and the voices of our friends. Lift up our hearts to these this night and grant us Thy peace. Amen. ~ W.E.B. Du Bois
Music Of Thoughts quotes by W.E.B. Du Bois
We spent a lot of time on that record with the sound and recorded it on the Paramount sound stage which is this huge room where the sound is reflected but the reflection is so late and comes from so far away that it doesn't blur the music but gives you a room nonetheless. ~ Leo Kottke
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Leo Kottke
I grew up in the 1930s Great Depression when many families struggled to make ends meet, and in an area where old-fashioned country gospel music was popular. Later, as an adult with a more mature outlook on Christianity, I realized that a lot of that music was rather shallow. ~ Jerry Bridges
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Jerry Bridges
He whose thoughts, like skylarks, Toward the morning sky take flight - Who hovers over life and understands with ease The language of flowers and silent things! ~ Charles Baudelaire
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Charles Baudelaire
It is a good thing to let prayer be the first business in the morning and the last in the evening. Guard yourself against such false and deceitful thoughts that keep whispering, "Wait a while. In an hour or so I will pray. I must first finish this or that." Thinking such thoughts we get away from prayer into other things that will hold us and involve us till the prayer of the day comes to naught. ~ Martin Luther
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Martin Luther
You see, there's some blues for folks ain't never had a thing, and that's a sad blues ... but the saddest kind of blues is for them that's had everything they ever wanted and has lost it, and knows it won't come back no more. Ain't no sufferin' in this world worse than that; and that's the blue we call 'I Had It But It's All Gone Now. ~ Ken Grimwood
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Ken Grimwood
There is a storytelling element in there. The tango form is a little like the blues in that you have a kind of structure. It's not as rigid as twelve bar, but it's very much a storytelling medium -- and there's an element of call-and-response, and a particular arc in the musical form, that suggest a story. It's about being in the moment, with the music; and responding to your partner, and the particular feeling and momentum in her body in any one moment. It's a very concentrated thing; you can't think about anything else while you are doing it. If you try to hold a conversation, it just kind of falls apart. The music was what really drew me into tango. Everyone knows a few of the more popular tango classics, but once you get into it, there's such a rich field. It's astonishing, this kind of miraculous musical form that developed in a very small locality: two cities on either side of the River Plate, in Argentina and Urugauy. It started in the 1880s or '90s, and there are all kinds of mysteries, myths and stories, about how tango started and developed. It was first of all considered really low-life, almost reptilian. Something to be avoided and not talked about. And then it became this word wide phenomena. . .and I could go on talking about tango forever. . . . but its also to do with movement. I try to get that into my pictures: a sense of movement, something flowing through. A while ago, I realised how much I'd been drawing dancing figures in the corners of my sketchbooks fo ~ Alan Lee (artist)
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Alan Lee (artist)
Without demolishing religious schools (madrassahs) and minarets and without abandoning the beliefs and ideas of the medieval age, restriction in thoughts and pains in conscience will not end. Without understanding that unbelief is a kind of religion, and that conservative religious belief a kind of disbelief, and without showing tolerance to opposite ideas, one cannot succeed. Those who look for the truth will accomplish the mission.
Mevlana Jalal ad-Din RUMI ~ Rumi
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Rumi
I'm a mess of unfinished thoughts. ~ John Mayer
Music Of Thoughts quotes by John Mayer
She sang.
Wordless hymns of the sea: immediate, extemporized passages about waves and sunlight and tides and the constant, beautiful pressure of water on everything. The glory of seaweed slowly swaying, the delicious feeling that foretold a storm in the Dry World and turbulence below.
The music came out of her without pause, driven by years of observing, seeing, listening, enjoying, experiencing the world and unable to express it. The wonder and sadness of being alive. The joy of being a mermaid; the pain of being the only one like herself- the only mermaid who had been mortal, temporarily, and then lost everything. ~ Liz Braswell
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Liz Braswell
I love the idea of using film language similarly to how musicians use music - combining images and sounds in a way that they create an emotional effect. ~ Damien Chazelle
Music Of Thoughts quotes by Damien Chazelle
A mountain is composed of tiny grains of earth. The ocean is made up of tiny drops of water. Even so, life is but an endless series of little details, actions, speeches, and thoughts. And the consequences whether good or bad of even the least of them are far-reaching. ~ Swami Sivananda
