Testing. Hello, hellooo, anybody out there? Check, check, one, two. Soft pee. Puh, puh. Resonance! Sooooooft pee. Alpha bravo disco tango duck.
This is Nïx! I'm the Ever-Knowing One, a goddess incandescent, incomparable, and irresistible. But enough about what you think of me. It's a beautiful day in New Orleans. The wind is out of the east at a steady five knots and clouds look like rabbits … But enough about what you think of me!
Now, down to business -
Squirrel!
Where was I? [Long pause] Why am I in Regin's car? Bertil, you crawl right back out of that bong this minute!
Oh, I remember! I am hereby laying down this track for Magister Declan Chase. If you are a mortal of the recorder peon class, know that Dekko and I go waaaaay back, and he'll go berserk (snicker snicker) if he doesn't receive this transmittal. …
Chase, riddle me this: what's beautiful but monstrous, long of tooth but sharp of tooth and soft of mind, and can never ever tell a lie?
That's right. The Enemy of Old can be very useful to you. So use him already.
P.S. Your middle name's about to be spelled r-e-g-r-e-t.
And with that, I must bid you adieu. Don't worry, we'll catch up very soon. …
[Muffled] Who's mummy's wittle echolocator? That's right - you are!

Tango quotes by Kresley Cole
The paradox is that by being 'in love' we are in fact falling in love with ourselves, and we have an opportunity to see ourselves in the eyes of another. It is an ecstatic place to be, the dance of romantic love, and one that cannot be denied, for it is the place where we are most likely to experience a divine tango with our soul. Love and myth go hand in hand, for myth is the most exquisite mirror of all for the reflection of self. ~ Sarah Bartlett
Tango quotes by Sarah Bartlett
Human beings used to be molecules which could do many, many different sorts of dances, or decline to dance at all
as they pleased. My mother could do the waltz, the tango, the rumba ... ~ Kurt Vonnegut
Tango quotes by Kurt Vonnegut
I've always wanted to learn the Argentine tango. ~ Jodie Sweetin
Tango quotes by Jodie Sweetin
You just can't take a crash course to be a tango dancer in a movie. ~ Robert Duvall
Tango quotes by Robert Duvall
Our evening-long tango of stares had my head spinning. ~ Jennifer Comeaux
Tango quotes by Jennifer Comeaux
A man who wants to find out who he really is should try watching the woman he loves as she dances the tango with a maestro. ~ Clive James
Tango quotes by Clive James
I wanted to have a reaction from the audience. I wanted to be able to talk to somebody, and not be talking just to myself. That's when I did 'The Conformist,' 'Last Tango in Paris,' etc. And I found it was incredibly rewarding, something new. ~ Bernardo Bertolucci
Tango quotes by Bernardo Bertolucci
I still can't believe that some pseudocritics continue to accuse me of having murdered tango. They have it backward. They should look at me as the saviour of tango. I performed plastic surgery on it. ~ Astor Piazzolla
Tango quotes by Astor Piazzolla
Our natural state of being is in relationship, a tango, a constant state of one influencing the other. Just as the subatomic particles that compose us cannot be separated from the space and particles surrounding them, so living beings cannot be isolated from each other ... By the act of observation and intention, we have the ability to extend a kind of super-radiance to the world. ~ Lynne McTaggart
Tango quotes by Lynne McTaggart
I flush, and my inner goddess grabs a rose between her teeth and starts to tango. ~ E.L. James
Tango quotes by E.L. James
Forget about that and kiss me," I say.
I weave my hands in her hair. She wraps her arms around my neck as I trace the valley between her lips with my tongue. Parting her lips, I deepen the kiss. It's like a tango, first moving slow and rhythmic and then, when we're both panting and our tongues collide, the kiss turns into a hot, fast dance I never want to end. Carmen's kisses may have been hot, but Brittany's are more sensual, sexy, and extremely addictive.
We're still in the car, but it's cramped and the front seats don't give us enough room. Before I know it, we've moved to the backseat. Still not ideal, but I hardly notice.
I'm so getting into her moans and kisses and hands in my hair. And the smell of vanilla cookies. I'm not going to push her too far tonight. But without thinking, my hand slowly moves up her bare thigh.
"It feels so good," she says breathlessly.
I lean her back while my hands explore on their own. My lips caress the hollow of her neck as I ease down the strap to her dress and bra. In response, she unbuttons my shirt. When it's open, her fingers roam over my chest and shoulders, searing my skin.
"You're . . . perfect," she pants.
Right now I'm not gonna argue with her. Moving lower, my tongue follows a path down to her silky skin exposed to the night air. She grabs the back of my hair, urging me on. She tastes so damn good. Too good. !Caramelo!
I pull away a few inches and capture her gaze with mine, those shining ~ Simone Elkeles
Tango quotes by Simone Elkeles
In our every cell, furled at the nucleus, there is a ribbon two yards long and just ten atoms wide. Over a hundred million miles of DNA in very human individual, enough to wrap five million times around our world and make the Midgard serpent blush for shame, make even the Ourobouros worm swallow hard in disbelief. This snake-god, nucleotide, twice twisted, scaled in adenine and cytosine, in thymine and in guanine, is a one-man show, will be the actors, props and setting, be the apple and the garden both. The player bides his time, awaits his entrance to a drum-roll of igniting binaries. This is the only dance in town, this anaconda tango, this slow spiral up through time from witless dirt to paramecium, from blind mechanic organism to awareness. There, below the birthing stars, Life sways and improvises. Every poignant gesture drips with slapstick; pathos; an unbearably affecting bravery. To dare this stage, this huge and overwhelming venue. Squinting through the stellar footlights, hoping there's an audience, that there's someone out there, but dancing anyway. But dancing anyway. ~ Alan Moore
Tango quotes by Alan Moore
It takes two to tango but just one dance with the devil to bring the house down. ~ Jason Versey
Tango quotes by Jason Versey
He watched my reaction to his every touch. My chest rose and fell with heavy breaths. Everything felt heavy and I succumbed under his potent gaze. What lay beneath was hellfire and I couldn't wait to tango with his demons. ~ Kate Stewart
Tango quotes by Kate Stewart
Magnus, remember what happened the last time you tried to tango. Your shoe flew off and nearly killed someone."
"It was a metaphor. He's a Shadowhunter, he's a Lightwood, and he's into blonds. He's a dating hazard. ~ Cassandra Clare
Tango quotes by Cassandra Clare
There is a storytelling element in there. The tango form is a little like the blues in that you have a kind of structure. It's not as rigid as twelve bar, but it's very much a storytelling medium -- and there's an element of call-and-response, and a particular arc in the musical form, that suggest a story. It's about being in the moment, with the music; and responding to your partner, and the particular feeling and momentum in her body in any one moment. It's a very concentrated thing; you can't think about anything else while you are doing it. If you try to hold a conversation, it just kind of falls apart. The music was what really drew me into tango. Everyone knows a few of the more popular tango classics, but once you get into it, there's such a rich field. It's astonishing, this kind of miraculous musical form that developed in a very small locality: two cities on either side of the River Plate, in Argentina and Urugauy. It started in the 1880s or '90s, and there are all kinds of mysteries, myths and stories, about how tango started and developed. It was first of all considered really low-life, almost reptilian. Something to be avoided and not talked about. And then it became this word wide phenomena. . .and I could go on talking about tango forever. . . . but its also to do with movement. I try to get that into my pictures: a sense of movement, something flowing through. A while ago, I realised how much I'd been drawing dancing figures in the corners of my sketchbooks fo ~ Alan Lee (artist)
Tango quotes by Alan Lee (artist)
Dancing is creating a sculpture that is visible only for a moment. ~ Erol Ozan

Tango quotes by Z.A. Maxfield
Scared?"
Terrified. "Of you? Nah. If you grow claws, I might get my sword, but I've fought you in your human shape." It took all my will to shrug. "You aren't that impressive."
He cleared the distance between us in a single leap. I barely had time to jump to my feet. Steel fingers grasped my left wrist. His left arm clasped my waist. I fought, but he outmuscled me with ridiculous ease, pulling me close as if to tango.
"Curran! Let . . . "
I recognized the angle of his hip but I could do nothing about it. He pulled me forward and flipped me in a classic hip-toss throw. Textbook perfect. I flew through the air, guided by his hands, and landed on my back. The air burst from my lungs in a startled gasp. Ow.
"Impressed yet?" he asked with a big smile.
Playing. He was playing. Not a real fight. He could've slammed me down hard enough to break my neck. Instead he had held me to the end, to make sure I landed right.
He leaned forward a little. "Big bad merc, down with a basic hip toss. In your place I'd be blushing."
I gasped, trying to draw air into my lungs.
"I could kill you right now. It wouldn't take much. I think I'm actually embarrassed on your behalf. At least do some magic or something."
As you wish. I gasped and spat my new power word. "Osanda." Kneel, Your Majesty.
He grunted like a man trying to lift a crushing weight that fell on his shoulders. His face shook with strain. Ha-ha. He wasn't the only one who got a boost ~ Ilona Andrews
Tango quotes by Ilona Andrews
I am only interested in bad taste if I can enjoy a gruesome tango or watch a movie that makes me cry. ~ Manuel Puig
Tango quotes by Manuel Puig
It takes two to tango, and if you dance too long, implosion is inevitable. ~ Allie Burke
Tango quotes by Allie Burke
I was very, very nervous about the naked scenes. I'm very shy and reserved. But it was Bertolucci and I have seen Last Tango. It's not pornographic. He's a master of eroticism. I stopped being self-conscious. You have to forget everything. ~ Eva Green
Tango quotes by Eva Green
Personally, I now aim for one month of overseas relocation or high-intensity learning (tango, fighting, whatever) for every two months of work projects. ~ Tim Ferriss
Tango quotes by Tim Ferriss
The beginning and the end of the tango is the walk. ~ Robert Duvall
Tango quotes by Robert Duvall
So that's all we're doingoing here now? Catering to the rich?'

'We'really here for the tango,' Santiago said. 'Our music will reach far more people because we'really here'

'And the workers? The tango came from us, it belongs to us! ~ Carolina De Robertis
Tango quotes by Carolina De Robertis
...'You are like tango music itself, Kapka.' Julio says, catching his breath. 'You're the universal woman- wherever you go, you will always be a local and a stranger at the same time. ~ Kapka Kassabova
Tango quotes by Kapka Kassabova
You might one day be able to send the experience of dancing the tango, bungee jumping, or skydiving to the people on your e-mail list. Not just physical activity, but emotions and feelings as well might be sent via brain-to-brain communication. ~ Michio Kaku
Tango quotes by Michio Kaku
You can teach a bear to tango on a barrel but his enthusiasm and performance are limited and brief. ~ Lionel Tiger
Tango quotes by Lionel Tiger
-'I don't see what good it's going to do for you to waltz back in there and
'
-'Can I tango back in there, instead? So much sexier than the waltz. ~ Kiersten White
Tango quotes by Kiersten White
Kizzy wanted to be a woman who would dive off the prow of a sailboat into the sea, who would fall back in a tangle of sheets, laughing, and who could dance a tango, lazily stroke a leopard with her bare foot, freeze an enemy's blood with her eyes, make promises she couldn't possibly keep, and then shift the world to keep them. She wanted to write memoirs and autograph them at a tiny bookshop in Rome, with a line of admirers snaking down a pink-lit alley. She wanted to make love on a balcony, ruin someone, trade in esoteric knowledge, watch strangers as coolly as a cat. She wanted to be inscrutable, have a drink named after her, a love song written for her, and a handsome adventurer's small airplane, champagne-christened Kizzy, which would vanish one day in a windstorm in Arabia so that she would have to mount a rescue operation involving camels, and wear an indigo veil against the stinging sand, just like the nomads.
Kizzy wanted. ~ Laini Taylor
Tango quotes by Laini Taylor
His kiss was like no other! His kiss was enchanted and fairy-tale like. He applied pressure, but just enough to feel his tenderness and warmth. I could feel his heart beating wildly as he pressed his chest against my chest all the while his loving lips brushed up against mine with a care-filled affection. His tongue lightly licked the outer edges of my mouth, and then searched for my tongue. The pursuit allowed a marriage of both tongues to meet - inspiring a mingling tango of hot and heavy French kissing to manifest profusely. We kissed like two hot and horny teenagers, our mouths moving and craving each others lips, in animalistic desires! ~ Keira D. Skye
Tango quotes by Keira D. Skye
The Argentine tango isn't here to play nicely with the other children. The Argentine tango is here to seduce your women, spill things on your rug, and sneak out your bedroom window in the middle of the night. ~ Seanan McGuire
Tango quotes by Seanan McGuire
Sometimes it seemed that she and rudy were two people attempting to tango, sweating and trying, long after the orchestra had grown tired, long after everyone else had gone home. ~ Lorrie Moore
Tango quotes by Lorrie Moore
Both Pasquale and Rino turned out to be surprisingly good dancers, and we learned from them the tango, the waltz, the polka, and the mazurka. ~ Elena Ferrante
Tango quotes by Elena Ferrante
(a man in love speaking)
"I don't notice much of anything anymore but Marie." He laid his hand on his chest. "This force," he said, "it just does with you what it wants to do with you, makes you feel what it wants to make you feel."
"Tango ~ Kurt Vonnegut
Tango quotes by Kurt Vonnegut
The tango is a direct expression of something that poets have often tried to state in words: the belief that a fight may be a celebration. ~ Jorge Luis Borges
Tango quotes by Jorge Luis Borges
I heard a thunk that sounded like Lend's head against the door. "This is stupid. Let my dad take care of it. He's been contacting everyone he knows who is still with IPCA, and - "
I walked over and put my own head against the door, pretending there wasn't anything between us. "And it doesn't matter. IPCA isn't the same. There are new people in charge, and they aren't messing around. I can help her. Raquel would do the same for me. She has done the same for me."
"I don't see what good it's going to do for you to waltz back in there and - "
"Can I tango back in there, instead? So much sexier than the waltz."
"Evie, I'm serious! You just broke out of IPCA! You're going to get tased and tagged again."
"I really doubt it. Faerie backup, remember?" I went to the window and looked down into the yard, where Reth stood in the midst of the dead brown grass, looking like a god of spring and sunshine who had seriously lost his way. He was staring straight up at me, although how he knew I'd look straight down that instant I had no idea. Creeper.
I shivered a little, still not breaking eye contact with Reth. I was in over my head, I knew that, and I knew I'd owe him even more after this. I had no doubt I'd pay in a way I really didn't want to, and soon.
The door shook as Lend kicked it. "Pretty much the only idea I like less than you walking back into IPCA is you walking back into IPCA with only Jack and Reth for protection."
"They owe me."
"Tru ~ Kiersten White
Tango quotes by Kiersten White
The patient suffers; the family threatens; the colleagues frown; the nurse laughs; Death grins; and the young doctor dances a crazy jig amid the tumult, though once he dreamed he would glide along the floor with Death in a perfectly controlled tango. ~ Bert Keizer
Tango quotes by Bert Keizer
If you mention any ideological thing about shooting 'Last Tango in Paris,' I was thinking I was doing a political film. ~ Bernardo Bertolucci
Tango quotes by Bernardo Bertolucci

When you dance tango fast, you have to think slow. ~ Robert Duvall
Tango quotes by Robert Duvall
My goal now is to dance all the dances as long as I can, and then to sit down contented after the last elegant tango some sweet night and pass on because there wasn't another dance left in me. ~ Robert Fulghum
Tango quotes by Robert Fulghum
Unwrapping the paper carefully so it doesn't tear, I find a beautiful red leather box. Cartier. It's familiar, thanks to my second-chance earrings and my watch. Cautiously, I open the box to discover a delicate charm bracelet of silver or platinum or white gold - I don't know, but it's absolutely enchanting. Attached to it are several charms: the Eiffel Tower; a London black cab; a helicopter - Charlie Tango; a glider - the soaring, a catamaran - The Grace; a bed; and an ice cream cone? I look up at him, bemused. "Vanilla?" He shrugs apologetically( ... ) ~ E.L. James
Tango quotes by E.L. James
Tango is where the passion and love lasts forever. ~ Efrat Cybulkiewicz
Tango quotes by Efrat Cybulkiewicz
The most powerful way I know for you to lose weight and feel great in your body is to use tapping to clear your limiting emotions and beliefs so you can start listening to your inner voice. It's time for you to start caring about what you think, so yes, go ahead and try that tango class, ask for a raise, and say no to people who drain you. Whatever your heart and body are telling you, it's time to listen. ~ Jessica Ortner
Tango quotes by Jessica Ortner
I started buying records in the '80s. I listened to everything new wave, disco, funk synth-pop, rock, but in my house we were listening to bossa nova, tango, and folk. ~ Juan Campodonico
Tango quotes by Juan Campodonico
Tango is a truth drug. It lays bare your problems and your complexes, but also the strengths you hide from others so as not to vex them. It shows what a couple can be for each other, how they can listen to each other. People who only want to listen to themselves will hate tango. ~ Nina George
Tango quotes by Nina George
A history of nightlife!
what an interesting concept. A history of a people, told not through their daily travails and successive political upheavals, but via the changes in their nightly celebrations and unwindings. History is, in this telling, accompanied by a bottle of Malbec, some fine Argentine steak, tango music, dancing, and gossip. It unfolds through and alongside illicit activities that take place in the multitude of discos, dance parlors, and clubs. Its direction, the way people live, is determined on half-lit streets, in bars, and in smoky late-night restaurants. This history is inscribed in songs, on menus, via half-remembered conversations, love affairs, drunken fights, and years of drug abuse. ~ David Byrne
Tango quotes by David Byrne
Tangerine tango was still in. Cardigans without buttons were in. Bahia bands were in. Senhor do Bonfim. Make a wish? But hardly anyone considered the most radical move: be yourself. Beauty is always a revolutionary act. ~ Chris Campanioni
Tango quotes by Chris Campanioni
She helps me to the bathroom, helps me wash, then helps me put a gazillion tangles in my hair while she shampoos it. And she actually thinks we're going to leave it that way.
"I'm not going downstairs looking like a hobo," I tell her. "We have to comb it."
"That thick mess will break this flimsy comb. Can't you just run your fingers through it?"
It's weird to be arguing about my hair when we still haven't discussed my wound, how I got it, and how I came to be snoring in Galen's bed. We both seem to appreciate the bizarreness at the same time. Mom raises a brow. "Don't think you get special treatment just because you can make a whale do the tango. I'm still your mother."
We both laugh so hard I think I feel a tiny rip in my newly dressed wound. Without warning, Mom throws her arms around me, careful to avoid touching it. "I'm so proud of you, Emma. And I know your father would be, too. Your grandfather can't stop talking about it. You were amazing."
Ah, the bonding power of tangled hair and dancing whales.
She releases me the second before it gets awkward. "Let's get you dressed. We have a lot to discuss. And I get you're starving. Rachel made you…uh…Upchuck Eggs."
"She gets an A for effort. ~ Anna Banks
Tango quotes by Anna Banks
I am no longer afraid to face what is meant to be, but I am not so sure of what exactly I want for the future either. ~ Ramona Matta
Tango quotes by Ramona Matta
QUESTION: Are you suggesting that history is irrelevant, then, and the temporal span of humankind merely the recycling of tropes?
ANSWER: Well, I think it's two things. It's always two things, unless it's three. The first thing is moms and martyrs are the way we will think, just as when we dance we tend to tango. Jung suspected as much, you know, and every story could, I suppose, be seen as such a spyglass. Second, either there is or there isn't, point-blank, and if there is not, and something besides lead backs our philosophies, then previously Truth flashed its temper like a fictitious schoolgirl showing her panties, then went all cowboy cool in the neonew, barely speaking, keeping mum, despite the fact we's done forgot dear mammy, savoring the slow satisfying burn of a cigarette before the bonfire of a billion bodies, and still millions more wait their turn, we're better at keeping our appointments, at any rate, skinny corpses stripped of teeth and hair and skin, difference plucked like daisies, for there is no difference; in ether words, to hear the Great Apes tell it, every plague is one for the pointless and every poppy's got jack to do with Us. Hoohah! A particularly ballsy bit of business given the most recent nearing too close, we're singing our rondel with a bellyful of gravy and sourmash, we're at the highpocked end, and there's no more to come, come the dawn. Though bear in mind we've no pret-a-porter poodle sniffing around here, nossir, we're not afraid to s ~ Vanessa Place
Tango quotes by Vanessa Place
I think those who say that you can't tango if you are not Argentine are mistaken. Tango was an immigrant music ... so it does not have a nationality. It's only passport is feeling. ~ Carlos Gavito
Tango quotes by Carlos Gavito
Tango was very popular in Panama at the time when I was growing up. In the Fifties in Panama, the radio stations played all types of music. ~ Ruben Blades
Tango quotes by Ruben Blades
The secret of tango is in this moment of improvisation that happens between step and step. It is to make the impossible thing possible: to dance silence. ~ Carlos Gavito
Tango quotes by Carlos Gavito
Tango is about feeling and sensitivity, otherwise you are just doing gymnastics. You can do all the steps but it has to have the feeling and sensitivity of authentic tango. ~ Carlos Gavito
Tango quotes by Carlos Gavito
If you get all tangled up, just tango on. ~ Al Pacino
Tango quotes by Al Pacino
Fake it till you become it.

My first Argentine tango was with Lil' Kim, and again, I was completely learning it as I went along. Now it's become one of my favorite dances to do. Whenever people say to me, "You're such a great choreographer," or I look at my Emmy learning it in my apartment, I remind myself that I came into DWTS with no experience, no education in many of these dances, and certainly no clue how to teach anything to anybody. I simply committed to learning them and then taught them to my partners. I drew upon how I had been taught and what I thought my partners would respond to. I felt my way along, just as they did, till I became the teacher I wanted to be.
I threw myself into the effort without hesitation because I had no choice. There were only two options: I could go out there and throw my hands up and say, "Just kidding! I'm a phony," or get it done. I couldn't let myself or my partners down.
This was the stage I was given, and I always want to be the best at whatever I'm doing. I never wanted my partners to feel they couldn't rely on me. I had to go in there and make it happen. With that mentality, I found a way. ~ Derek Hough
Tango quotes by Derek Hough
She glanced at the horse's stomach. "You got yourself knocked up, girl?"
"Actually, it takes two to tango, in case you haven't heard."
Sadie laughed, the happy noise filling the air. "Horse tango. Sounds like quite the show. ~ Cindi Madsen
Tango quotes by Cindi Madsen
Do you play football?' Brandon asks.
'No.'
'Baseball?'
'Nope.'
Brandon is on a roll and won't stop until he's found the answer he's looking for. 'Tennis?'
'That would be a nada'
'Then what sport do you play?'
Carlos puts down his food. Oh, no. He's got a rebellious gleam in his eye as he says, 'The horizontal tango.'
... Alex stands and says through chlenched teeth, 'Carlos let's talk. In private. Ahora.'
... Brandon turns to my dad with big, innocent eyes. 'Daddy, do you know how to do the horizontal tango? ~ Simone Elkeles
Tango quotes by Simone Elkeles
Tango, ever the gentleman, gave her a wink. I don't have anything in my blood but beer and poor white trash. Figure I gotta get in good with these leader types. ~ Lauren Gilley
Tango quotes by Lauren Gilley
What do I do?"
"Give me a chance to catch up."
I just stared at him, trying to keep my cool. Took two to tango, yada yada.
"I'm serious." His shoulders heaved up and down. "Just give me a chance to catch up and I promise, Lizzy, I will have your back. ~ Kylie Scott
Tango quotes by Kylie Scott
Niggas know my pussy taste like mango-tango so they put a couple karats in my ankle bangles ~ Nicki Minaj
Tango quotes by Nicki Minaj
The society girl meets more dangers than the girl on the stage. There is more danger at a tango tea than in the theatre. The actor is less dangerous than the dancing master. ~ Lillian Russell
Tango quotes by Lillian Russell
Their dancing was simple and expert and reminded her of something one of her art teachers told her about bad artists taking something simple and making it seem complicated while good artists took something very complex and made it seem simple. The couple was an illustration of this rule; the dance seemed barely to qualify for the term--in essence they seemed merely to be walking, slowly in lockstep. They would stop occasionally, the woman led into a simple ocho and then resume their slow, meditative procession. They seemed, to Rosalind's untrained eye, to be under a spell. ~ Jennifer Vandever
Tango quotes by Jennifer Vandever
Will.i.am and I performed at Wango Tango. That's when my daughter said that I had made it in music. ~ Jamie Foxx
Tango quotes by Jamie Foxx
I'm so glad you're okay."
"So, how do we celebrate my okayness? It's my day off. Let's go crazy. Glow-in-the-dark bowling?"
"No"
"I'll let you use the kiddie ball."
"Shut up. I do NOT need the kiddie ball."
"The way you bowl, I think you might."
He grabbed her in an exaggerated formal dance pose and whirled her around, backpack and all, which didn't make her any more graceful.
"Ballroom dancing?"
"Are you INSANE?"
"Hey, girls who tango are hot."
"You think I'm not hot because I don't tango?"
He dropped the act. Shane was a smart boy.
"I think you are too hot for ballroom or bowling. So you tell me. What do you want to do? And don't say study. ~ Rachel Caine
Tango quotes by Rachel Caine
The tango is a very interior dance. It's not an exterior - it's not flashy and all over the floor. It's a very interior dance when you see the old guys dance in the clubs. I learned everything from the old guys in the clubs. ~ Robert Duvall
Tango quotes by Robert Duvall
I gathered myself in silent pain looking to leave the one way path I was never to come back to ~ Ramona Matta
Tango quotes by Ramona Matta
It was the immutable tango between the Dumper and the Dumpee: the coming and the seeing and the conquering and the returning home. ~ John Green
Tango quotes by John Green
I wouldn't go so far as to make 'You Don't Own Me' a tango or 'It's My Party' a hip-hop thing. Believe me, those things have been suggested to me. But I thought if I could stay true to the song, the arrangements would work. I'm really enjoying singing them. ~ Lesley Gore
Tango quotes by Lesley Gore
Maybe they're out doing the tango and drinking tequila shots." He sent Eve a grin. "As we will be when we reach their age. After which we'll come home and have mad sex."
"For God's sake. This is on the record."

It takes a dozen to fandango,
just two to tango. ~ Beryl Dov
Tango quotes by Beryl Dov
You cannot dance physically certain things. But look at tango dancers or flamenco or Japanese classical theater. You can, if you're smart enough and you collaborate with the right choreographers, you could really dance your age. ~ Mikhail Baryshnikov
Tango quotes by Mikhail Baryshnikov
Sex has changed drastically over the years due to technology. The World Wide Web has boosted the sex market and made sex ever present. Tango quotes by Sanjo Jendayi
The Argentine tango is very special to me because it's full of sensuality. The chemistry between the man and woman is absolutely stunning. ~ Gilles Marini
Tango quotes by Gilles Marini
...the most beautiful thing about tango is that it doesn't belong to anyone. It doesn't, but we'd like it to. We'd like to own it, each of us individually. We are all fiercely territorial about it. By being here despite the pain of it, we're saying: I'm holding my ground... ~ Kapka Kassabova
Tango quotes by Kapka Kassabova
Reminiscent of the radiant shadings of a sunset, Tangerine Tango marries the vivaciousness and adrenaline rush of red with the friendliness and warmth of yellow, to form a high-visibility, magnetic hue that emanates heat and energy. ~ Leatrice Eiseman
Tango quotes by Leatrice Eiseman
I've done tangos with men who thought my ass was a squeaky toy. ~ Seanan McGuire
Tango quotes by Seanan McGuire
Perdu cleared his throat and announced to the empty car: "Her words were so natural. Manon showed her feelings, always. She loved the tango. She drank from life as if it were champagne and faced it in the same spirit: she knew that life is special. ~ Nina George
Tango quotes by Nina George
As a critic, I try to stay neutral about movies before I see them, but I really wanted "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot" to be great. It's based on a barbed memoir by Kim Barker called "The Taliban Shuffle: Strange Days In Afghanistan And Pakistan." And its stars Tina Fey, out of her comfort zone, just as Barker was a fish out of water when, in 2004, she began covering the Afghanistan occupation for the Chicago Tribune. ~ David Edelstein
Tango quotes by David Edelstein
Do not allow your sad past to rule your present situation. Unlike a tango, it does not take to two to forgive. ~ Stephen Richards
Tango quotes by Stephen Richards
There might have been a period around 'Tango & Cash' when I was nearly fashionable. My problem is that my weight's always been changing for the movies I'm in. ~ Sylvester Stallone
Tango quotes by Sylvester Stallone
We believe that we should come to an agreement with the Palestinians. But we need two to tango. ~ Silvan Shalom
Tango quotes by Silvan Shalom
The sex act is emotionally the richest and the most imaginatively charged event in our lives, comparable only to the embrace of our children as a source of affection and mystery. But no kinaesthetic language has yet been devised to describe it in detail, and without one we are in the position of an unqualified observer viewing an operation for brain surgery. Ballet, gymnastics, American football and judo are furnished with elaborate kinaesthetic languages, but it's still easier to describe the tango or the cockpit take-off procedures for a 747 than to recount in detail an act of love. ~ J.G. Ballard
Tango quotes by J.G. Ballard
I've discovered all kinds of music and done all kinds of music over the past 40 years, from playing tango with Piazzolla to all the different bands I've had. ~ Gary Burton
Tango quotes by Gary Burton
She awoke knowing what she had been dreaming about. She was a deer in the headlights to his grinning face. In those first moments before she was fully awakened she hadn't had time to hide her true feelings. He'd read them loud and clear. This was the moment that would start the seductive tango. There was one giant problem. Kayn could not dance her way out of a paper bag. ~ Kim Cormack
Tango quotes by Kim Cormack
[His faith] was a hundred small perfect steps that in the end can never add up to dance ... not the kind I wanted, anyway. Not the tango of Argentina, of the Spanish birthday party. ~ Addie Zierman
Tango quotes by Addie Zierman
It was an Argentine tango, fierce and sexy, and Reed was delicious with it. With his confident and elegant movements, their dance was almost like having sex with their clothes on. ~ Sylvia Day
Tango quotes by Sylvia Day
I don't know if a penny's dropped somewhere, but you've had 'Lark Rise to Candleford,' you've had 'Cranford,' you've had 'Last Tango in Halifax,' you've had 'Call the Midwife' ... I think the largest portion of the viewing public are over 55, and they like to see people they can identify with. ~ Judy Parfitt
Tango quotes by Judy Parfitt
You can raise welts like nobody else, as we dance to the Masochism Tango. ~ Tom Lehrer
Tango quotes by Tom Lehrer
Tango tipped his head back against the bench, staring up at the denim-colored evening sky. This was the most dangerous, the most wonderful, the most daring addiction of all: life. ~ Lauren Gilley
Tango quotes by Lauren Gilley
Over these many years, I have observed both profound folly and breathtaking wisdom among humankind. They balance each other like dancers in the throes of a passionate tango. It is only when the brutality of the dance overwhelms the beauty that the future is threatened. It is the Scythedom that leads and sets the tone for the dance. I often wonder if the Scythedom realised how fragile are the spines of the other dancers. ~ Neil Shusterman
Tango quotes by Neil Shusterman
If you really want a woman to love you, then you have to dance. And if you don't want to dance, then you're going to have to work extra hard to make a woman love you forever, and you will always run the risk that she will leave you at any second for a man who knows how to tango. ~ Sherman Alexie
Tango quotes by Sherman Alexie
I love tango, and I used to dance when I was young. ~ Pope Francis
Tango quotes by Pope Francis
