(Answers to life) - You don't have to have it all figured out by a certain age or time in your life. It will come in bits and pieces along the way. ~ Lindsey Rietzsch
Life S Mysteries quotes by Lindsey Rietzsch
We don't have to have all the answers and know everything. Life is about acknowledging the unknown and just living. ~ Raneem Kayyali
Life S Mysteries quotes by Raneem Kayyali
I feel sad for the people who I hear always plan, plan, plan the next day's event to occur. Life only stands still for them. ~ Ingrid Nkenlifack
Life S Mysteries quotes by Ingrid Nkenlifack
Besides, men aren't worth your time anyway, Letti. If we women spent as much time on ourselves as we do fretting over men, we'd be invincible! Work on yourself because at the end of the day, you're the only person you can trust. ~ S.R. Crawford
Life S Mysteries quotes by S.R. Crawford
Don't let your journey fade. It's God's way of reminding us that we need him in our lives and it's not wrong ~ Shellie Palmer
Life S Mysteries quotes by Shellie Palmer
I believe that things just happen in life, and pretty much after the fact, we make up a story to make it all seem rational. We all like simple stories that suggest a causal chain to life's events. Yet randomness is ever present. ~ Michael S. Gazzaniga
Life S Mysteries quotes by Michael S. Gazzaniga
At six years old we didn't have any money;
there was my mother, my brother and I.
We had a deadbeat dad; left us before we were
two, but she took us at Christmas-time to
downtown Los Angeles.
We had little cars going around in circles,
it was pretty cool, and decorations in the
window.
She gave my brother and I a dime and told
us, "Boys whole half of it each, give it to
the man ringing the bell in the bucket."
We put it in this bucket, we said, "Mom, why
did we give that man a dime?
That's like two soda pops."
This is 1951, two soda pops, three candy bars.
And mom said, "Boys, that's the Salvation
Army.
They take care of people that have no place
to live and no food.
And we don't have a lot of money, but we can
afford a dime this year.
Boys, always remember in life: give a little
something to those in need, they'll always
be somebody that's not as well-off as you
are.

No matter where you are or how far down you
are, try and help someone along the way."
It stuck with me. ~ John Paul DeJoria
Life S Mysteries quotes by John Paul DeJoria
Regrets are for wusses. ~ Jen Calonita
Life S Mysteries quotes by Jen Calonita
Authenticity is the sine qua non of everything that matters. When you encounter someone unguarded, without artifice or pretense--Mon Dieu!--you know it. I compare it to being at the top of the mountain: the air is clearer, there's nothing to muddy the senses. It's bracingly refreshing. ~ Ellen Lubin-Sherman
Life S Mysteries quotes by Ellen Lubin-Sherman
By putting "God" and "work" in the same title - in, so to speak, the same breath - Mr. Keeble challenges the modern orthodoxy, which has done its best to keep those terms separate. The great dissociation of which T. S. Eliot and others have spoken has made it likely that people will exclude from their forms of worship any reference to their economic life or the quality of their work, and that they will exclude from their work any sense of religious obligation. By bringing those two words back into their old association, and by the honor he gives to people who conscientiously kept them associated, Mr. Keeble restores to practical viability the idea of good work. He brings again into view the possibility of religion practicable in work, and work compatible with worship and wholly meant. Wendell Berry Lanes Landing Farm Port Royal, Kentucky ~ Brian Keeble
Life S Mysteries quotes by Brian Keeble
All the delights of sense, or heart, or intellect, with which you could once have tempted him, even the delights of virtue itself, now seem to him in comparison but as the half nauseous attractions of a raddled harlot would seem to a man who hears that his true beloved whom he has loved all his life and whom he had believed to be dead is alive and even now at his door. ~ C.S. Lewis
Life S Mysteries quotes by C.S. Lewis
I accepted games (quite a number of boys do) as one of the necessary evils of life, comparable to Income Tax or the Dentist. ~ C.S. Lewis
Life S Mysteries quotes by C.S. Lewis
In the midst of the complexities of modern life, with all its pressures, the spirit of man needs to refresh itself by communion with unspoiled nature. In such surroundings- occasional as our visits may be- we can achieve that kind of physical and spiritual renewal that comes alone from the wonder of the natural world. ~ Laurance S. Rockefeller
Life S Mysteries quotes by Laurance S. Rockefeller
All my life I have fought against prejudice and intolerance. ~ Harry S. Truman
Life S Mysteries quotes by Harry S. Truman
Happiness is the only thing that matters in this life. Don't be cavalier about it. Fertilize it with attention and watch it grow. ~ D.S. Luca
Life S Mysteries quotes by D.S. Luca
It isn't so much life's problems that challenge us but the emotional turbulence stirred up while trying to deal with them. People possessing the gift of emotional detachment are lucky in that their personal problems seem far less problematic. ~ Richelle E. Goodrich
Life S Mysteries quotes by Richelle E. Goodrich
Your destiny is in your mind, just faith it and have a brighter destination. ~ Oladosu Feyikogbon
Life S Mysteries quotes by Oladosu Feyikogbon
Going to trial with a lawyer who considers your whole life-style a Crime in Progress is not a happy prospect. ~ Hunter S. Thompson
Life S Mysteries quotes by Hunter S. Thompson
I'm not going to stand here and be eaten by some bitch's dinosaur. I am finally doing something with my life. ~ Brian K. Vaughan
Life S Mysteries quotes by Brian K. Vaughan
One day this war will end. And when it does, Tule Lake will be just a memory. ~ Teresa R. Funke
Life S Mysteries quotes by Teresa R. Funke
The State exists simply to promote and to protect the ordinary happiness of human beings in this life. A husband and wife chatting over a fire, a couple of friends having a game of darts in a pub, a man reading a book in his own room or digging in his own garden-that is what the State is there for. And unless they are helping to increase and prolong and protect such moments, all the laws, parliaments, armies, courts, police, economics, etc., are simply a waste of time. ~ C.S. Lewis
Life S Mysteries quotes by C.S. Lewis
As with the first Nightmare, we shot a couple of interesting scenes that didn't make it into the final cut, most notably one featuring a female Freddy. One of the kids in the hospital has a Freddy dream in which he's being seduced by a sexy nurse. The nightmare evolves into a kinky S&M fantasy, but becomes less M and more S when the ropes that bind the kid to the bed become Freddy tongues, and the nurse's face morphs into Freddy's, but her topless torso, which features a pair of perfect Playboy breasts, remains smooth and inviting… that is, for a moment. All of a sudden, the veins in her areolas come to life and turn into Freddy-like burn scars and snake up her cleavage, past her neck, and onto her face. (I'm pretty sure Kevin enjoyed the four hours it took to apply makeup to those tits.) This troubling, erotic transformation didn't make the final cut for some reason. Occasionally I find myself signing bootleg stills from the missing sequence. Especially in Europe. Ooh la la! ~ Robert Englund
Life S Mysteries quotes by Robert Englund
We have abolished human bondage because it cursed those who imposed it. It is now our bounden duty to oppose cruelty to those creatures of our common Father which share with man the mystery of life. ~ S. Parkes Cadman
Life S Mysteries quotes by S. Parkes Cadman
Fundamentalist s live life with an exclamation point. I prefer to live my life with a question mark. ~ Amos Oz
Life S Mysteries quotes by Amos Oz
Eating a can be the weight that pulls you under or the life raft. It's your choice. ~ Nancy S. Mure
Life S Mysteries quotes by Nancy S. Mure
She started life with a number, not a name. Class: S, No. 13295. She has them memorized by rote, though nobody ever calls her that. The Scientists feel foolish addressing her in long, bewildering strings of alphanumerics. They have told her so themselves. To save time, they simply call her Snow. ~ Nenia Campbell
Life S Mysteries quotes by Nenia Campbell
KNOW YOUR DOPE FIEND. YOUR LIFE MAY DEPEND ON IT! You will not be able to see his eyes because of the Tea-Shades, but his knuckles will be white from inner tension and his pants will be crusted with semen from constantly jacking off when he can't find a rape victim. He will stagger and babble when questioned. He will not respect your badge. The Dope Fiend fears nothing. He will attack, for no reason, with every weapon at his command-including yours. BEWARE. Any officer apprehending a suspected marijuana addict should use all necessary force immediately. One stitch in time (on him) will usually save nine on you. Good luck.
-The Chief ~ Hunter S. Thompson
Life S Mysteries quotes by Hunter S. Thompson
We don't have to do this," I said.
His jaw set in a way that reminded me of how he'd look some times back in grade school, standing around the fringes of s kickball game or on that bench by Mr. Lloyd's room. "We do, though."
I shook my head, staring at the house. Right then, a woman walked out, carrying a bag of trash. "Let's ask her if we can go in," Cameron said.
"Go in?"
He turned to me. "Yeah."
I lowered my voice to a whisper. "Shouldn't we, like, talk about it first? About what happened?"
"Why? We know what happened."
"I can't."
"But I'm with you. We're together."
My eyes filled. He looked out the window. The woman went back in the house and closed the door. "We can come back some other time," I said, "after we've talked." I put the car in drive. "Let's go somewhere. Coffee. Something."
"Doesn't matte." His jaw was set again, his voice dead flat.
"It does matter, Cameron. That's the point. If it didn't matter I could just go in right now. I'm not ready. You can't just show up after all these years and expect me to be ready." He opened the door and started to get out. "Wait, where are you going?"
"Sorry I came here and messed up your life."
"That's not what I said!" But he was out of the car, walking down the block, away from me. ~ Sara Zarr
Life S Mysteries quotes by Sara Zarr
If God had granted all the silly prayers I've made in my life, where should I be now? ~ C.S. Lewis
Life S Mysteries quotes by C.S. Lewis
Satisfaction is an excuse that arises out of comparison with success! Infact, it is the stepping stone of retirement. ~ Vishwanath S J
Life S Mysteries quotes by Vishwanath S J
I declare to you, from the bottom of my heart, that no Socialist system can be established without a political police ... No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent. They would have to fall back on some form of Gestapo, no doubt very humanely directed in the first instance. ~ Winston S. Churchill
Life S Mysteries quotes by Winston S. Churchill
For me to simply tell you to find your life's purpose, would only worsen your anxiety, not make it better. But that's not what I want you to do. I simply want you to realise that there is something to be found. That your calling is still out there, and that's why you might be unhappy. ~ S.R. Crawford
Life S Mysteries quotes by S.R. Crawford
Understanding people's difficulties and - just as crucial - helping people understand their own difficulties and teaching them concrete ways to help themselves will help them better deal with their own lives and, in turn, ours. ~ Kathryn Erskine
Life S Mysteries quotes by Kathryn Erskine
She leaves me with a smile that doesn't reach her eyes, and that's all it takes to tell me I'm in for the fight of my life where she's concerned. That's okay. I'm willing to wage war to show her what we can have together. Now that I've found her, I'll never let her go. ~ M.S. Force
Life S Mysteries quotes by M.S. Force
We know Existence, because we are existence.

We know Truth, because we are truth.

We know Life, because we are life itself.

The mind cannot remember this, because it is an experience far removed from it. The mind is an observer, not a knower. It can remember, but it cannot become what it remembers.

The mind is a false witness to truth, life, and existence. ~ Robert S. Cosmar
Life S Mysteries quotes by Robert S. Cosmar
He'll have to do without me, Jamie thought, not looking back. And then clearly, as if he'd been told, he knew Grenville /could/ do without him. There was somewhere else he had to go now, somewhere else he had to be. ~ S.E. Hinton
Life S Mysteries quotes by S.E. Hinton
Often we cannot understand what God does because we cannot see the future He sees. ~ Sunday Adelaja
Life S Mysteries quotes by Sunday Adelaja
But life, they said, means life. Dying inside.
The Devil was evil, mad, but I was the Devil's wife
which made me worse. I howled in my cell.
If the Devil is gone then how could this be hell? ~ Carol Ann Duffy
Life S Mysteries quotes by Carol Ann Duffy
So many people throughout my life have told me who I am, what I must do, what I can't do, what I have to complete, and what I will never be able to accomplish...and then I met the Goddess. ~ Amythyst Raine-Hatayama ~ Amythyst Raine
Life S Mysteries quotes by Amythyst Raine
Sometimes we make being happy so difficult. And being thankful such a chore. ~ Carew Papritz
Life S Mysteries quotes by Carew Papritz
I read the book [My Life by Bill Clinton] completely. And I think it compares very favorably with Ulysses S. Grant's gold standard of presidential autobiographies. ~ Dan Rather
Life S Mysteries quotes by Dan Rather
She wasted all her school time wanting to be the age she is now, and she'll waste all the rest of her life trying to stay that age. ~ C.S. Lewis
Life S Mysteries quotes by C.S. Lewis
The Universe is like a flowing river, and you are connected to it. It's pointless to worry about which of the endless branches in the river to take, or to try and fight the flow, far better just to drift and let the river take you where it will, because ultimately you will end up at the same destination anyway. ~ Robert Black
Life S Mysteries quotes by Robert Black
Back in the day, I had this plan for the off chance that I was around for the whole end-of-the-world thing. It involved climbing up on my roof and blasting R.E.M.'s "It's the End of the World as We Know It (And I Feel Fine)" as loud as humanly possible, but real life rarely turns out that cool. ~ Jennifer L. Armentrout
Life S Mysteries quotes by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Wut 's words to them whose faith an' truth On war's red techstone rang true metal; Who ventered life an' love an' youth For the gret prize o' death in battle? ~ James Russell Lowell
Life S Mysteries quotes by James Russell Lowell
The moment a man ceases to progress, to grow higher, wider and deeper, then his life becomes stagnant. ~ Orison S. Marden
