When life brings you full circle, pay attention. There's a lesson there. ~ Mandy Hale
Full Circle Moments quotes by Mandy Hale
Burnout is a way of telling you that your form of activism was perhaps not very full circle. ~ Gloria Steinem
Full Circle Moments quotes by Gloria Steinem
I tried to see it as bringing things full circle. I'd left and, in doing so, fractured myself. By returning, I'd be able to be whole again. ~ Sarah Dessen
Full Circle Moments quotes by Sarah Dessen
Damn everything but the circus! ... damn everything that is grim, dull, motionless, unrisking, inward turning, damn everything that won't get into the circle, that won't enjoy. That won't throw it's heart into the tension, surprise, fear and delight of the circus, the round world, the full existence ... ~ E. E. Cummings
Full Circle Moments quotes by E. E. Cummings
Life begins before a soul is born and commences once again with the act of dying, and as in the Afro-Asian symbol of the snake of eternity swallowing its tail, all is in flux, all comes full circle, with no beginning and no end. ~ Peter Matthiessen
Full Circle Moments quotes by Peter Matthiessen
In the 19th century China dominated the manufacture of porcelain. Then European factories discovered a cheaper method of making pottery of equal quality, demolishing the Chinese industry the exact reverse of what is happening now. World economics have turned full circle. ~ Martin Sorrell
Full Circle Moments quotes by Martin Sorrell
So, there it was in a nutshell. Poverty led him to religion, religion to education, education to lust, lust to communism. And Communism had brought him back full circle to poverty. ~ Colin Cotterill
Full Circle Moments quotes by Colin Cotterill
We've come full circle but the best remains the heart of the city, the greatest center of the greatest city, our Acropolis, where our Christmas tree is lighted. ~ Daniel Patrick Moynihan
Full Circle Moments quotes by Daniel Patrick Moynihan
You aimin' to go the full circle now? How long before I have to come get you up from the sidewalks? You got hurt and pain in you? Well, I used to know a man who knew how to live with his pain and make his hurt work for him. Your daddy died with dignity; there wasn't no bum in him. And he known some hurts in this life you ain't never even heard of! ~ Lorraine Hansberry
Full Circle Moments quotes by Lorraine Hansberry
Not a coincidence, but events coming full circle. The infinite possibilities of energy and spirit. ~ M.J. Rose
Full Circle Moments quotes by M.J. Rose
We use rituals in our Moon Circle in order to set the evening apart as a sacred space. We use it to recentre ourselves, to allow crashing thoughts to melt away. Like music and art, rituals can open our hearts to new possibilities. They allow us to see with a fresh clarity, and bring us to a space of liminality. Liminal space is what we feel when we see a stunning sunset and the world around us drops away. It's when we hear a new song and begin crying at the traffic lights. It's the quiet of Christmas Eve, when everything is done and all the family is asleep, and your mind grows still and full of gladness. ~ Lucy AitkenRead
Full Circle Moments quotes by Lucy AitkenRead
I'm in a great place because I've gone full circle. ~ Grace Lee Whitney
Full Circle Moments quotes by Grace Lee Whitney
And rising above it all doesn't mean we are better than others, it means we have made the choice to be better inside out. It means we have opted for forgiveness, dropped the drama, the pity, and everything else that dwells in a lower vibe.
It isn't complicated.
Rise. ~ Debbie Lynn - 360 Degrees Full Circle
Full Circle Moments quotes by Debbie Lynn - 360 Degrees Full Circle
Grief is like a bomber circling round and dropping its bombs each time the circle brings it overhead; physical pain is like the steady barrage on a trench in World War One, hours if it with no let-up for a moment. Thought is never static pain often is ... is it not yet enough? ~ C.S. Lewis
Full Circle Moments quotes by C.S. Lewis
You know, if you hang around this earth long enough you really see how things come full circle. ~ Patti Davis
Full Circle Moments quotes by Patti Davis
Vronsky's life was particularly happy in that he had a code of principles, which defined with unfailing certitude what he ought and what he ought not to do. This code of principles covered only a very small circle of contingencies, but then the principles were never doubtful, and Vronsky, as he never went outside that circle, had never had a moment's hesitation about doing what he ought to do. ~ Leo Tolstoy
Full Circle Moments quotes by Leo Tolstoy
I could distinguish the shape of her bosom, her arms, her thighs, just as I remember them now, just as now, when the Moon has become that flat, remote circle, I still look for her as soon as the first sliver appears in the sky, and the more it waxes, the more clearly I imagine I can see her, her or something of her, but only her, in a hundred, a thousand different vistas, she who makes the Moon the Moon and, whenever she is full, sets the dogs to howling all night long, and me with them. ~ Italo Calvino
Full Circle Moments quotes by Italo Calvino
I realize that our world has come full circle. That, for all the pain and suffering, for all the lies and deception, that everything is as it should be. That the journey doesn't dictate the end. We do. Our choices determine the shape and path of our life. ~ M. Leighton
Full Circle Moments quotes by M. Leighton
Life comes full circle. ~ Tracey Gold
Full Circle Moments quotes by Tracey Gold
Money has to undergo a metamorphosis again, it has to relinquish its role in the market economy and engage in an economy of capacities. Then we would be concerned with human creative productivity. And we would come full circle, since each human being can then act within his company as co-creator of the future, can - in full dignity - contribute to shaping this future. ~ Joseph Beuys
Full Circle Moments quotes by Joseph Beuys
A sage is a former fool who has become tired of himself.
A foolish sage is one who forgets this.
Remember, or come full circle. ~ Vera Nazarian
Full Circle Moments quotes by Vera Nazarian
Full circle, from to tomb of the womb to the womb of the tomb, we come ~ Joseph Campbell
Full Circle Moments quotes by Joseph Campbell
Although richer and Number 1 in the charts at this very moment, I've come full circle; once again I am the lanky, ginger, friendless geek.- Egg ~ Jamie Scallion
Full Circle Moments quotes by Jamie Scallion
And it took me, since I was 17 and left home, running from God, to now, as a 30-year-old man, when I honestly feel like I've come full circle and my heart's finally in the right place. ~ Scott Stapp
Full Circle Moments quotes by Scott Stapp
... because nothing will change while you believe your suffering is important than change.
A higher road is waiting ~ Debbie Lynn - 360 Degrees Full Circle
Full Circle Moments quotes by Debbie Lynn - 360 Degrees Full Circle
WHAT IS REALITY? It's both the simplest question to answer - and the hardest. Over the ages, it has baffled both philosophers and physicists. In The Republic, Plato described the true world as nothing more than a flickering shadow on a cave wall. Oddly enough, millennia later, scientists have come full circle to a similar conclusion. ~ James Rollins
Full Circle Moments quotes by James Rollins
After they buy their tickets, Emma pulls him to the concession line. "Galen, do you mind?" she says, drawing a distracting circle on his arm with her finger, sending fire pretty much everywhere inside him. He recognizes the mischief in her eyes but not the particular game she's playing.
"Get whatever you want, Emma," he tells her. With a coy smile, she orders seventy-five dollars worth of candy, soda, and popcorn. By the cashier's expression, seventy-five dollars must be a lot. If the game is to spend all his money, she'll be disappointed. He brought enough cash for five more armfuls of this junk. He helps Emma carry two large fountain drinks, two buckets of popcorn and four boxes of candy to the top row of the half-full theater.
When she's situated in her seat, she tears into a box and dumps the contents in her hand. "Look, sweet lips, I got your favorite, Lemonheads!" Sweet lips? What the- Before he can turn away, she forces three of them into his mouth.
His instant pucker elicits an evil snicker from her. She pops a straw into one of the cups and hands it to him. "Better drink this," she whispers. "To take the bite out of the candy."
He should have known better. The drink is so full of bubbles it turns clear up to his nostrils. Pride keeps him from coughing. Pride, and the Lemonhead lodged in his throat. Several more heaping gulps and he gets it down.
After a few minutes, a sample of greasy popcorn, and the rest of the soda, the lights finally dim ~ Anna Banks
Full Circle Moments quotes by Anna Banks
Full Circle integrates the indigenous and modern practices, bringing individuals, community and organizations together as indispensable collaborators realizing a co-creative, sustainable and fulfilling future. ~ Andrew Keegan
Full Circle Moments quotes by Andrew Keegan
What we call life ... is the combination of the Five Aggregates, a combination of physical and mental energies. These are constantly changing; they do not remain the same for two consecutive moments. Every moment they are born and they die. 'When the Aggregates arise, decay and die, O bhikkhu, every moment you are born, decay, and die.' This, even dow during this life time, every moment we are born and die, but we continue. If we can understand that in this life we can continue without a permanent, unchanging substance like Self or Soul, why can't we understand that those forces themselves can continue without a Self or a Soul behind them after the non-functioning of the body? ~ Walpola Rahula
Full Circle Moments quotes by Walpola Rahula
At least she was good at archaeology, she mused, even if she was a dismal failure as a woman in Tate's eyes.
"She's been broody ever since we got here," Leta said with pursed lips as she glanced from Tate to Cecily. "You two had a blowup, huh?" she asked, pretending innocence.
Tate drew in a short breath. "She poured crab bisque on me in front of television cameras."
Cecily drew herself up to her full height. "Pity it wasn't flaming shish kebab!" she returned fiercely.
Leta moved between them. "The Sioux wars are over," she announced.
"That's what you think," Cecily muttered, glaring around her at the tall man.
Tate's dark eyes began to twinkle. He'd missed her in his life. Even in a temper, she was refreshing, invigorating.
She averted her eyes to the large grass circle outlined by thick corded string. All around it were make-shift shelters on poles, some with canvas tops, with bales of hay to make seats for spectators. The first competition of the day was over and the winners were being announced. A woman-only dance came next, and Leta grimaced as she glanced from one warring face to the other. If she left, there was no telling what might happen.
"That's me," she said reluctantly, adjusting the number on her back. "Got to run. Wish me luck."
"You know I do," Cecily said, smiling at her.
"Don't disgrace us," Tate added with laughter in his eyes.
Leta made a face at him, but smiled. "No fighting," she said, shaking a fin ~ Diana Palmer
Full Circle Moments quotes by Diana Palmer
In the past, before phones and the Internet, all communication was face-to-face. Now, most of it is digital, via emails and messaging services. If people were to start using virtual reality, it would almost come full circle. ~ Palmer Luckey
Full Circle Moments quotes by Palmer Luckey
I shake my head in unfortunate assent...in any life age and stage to this necessary truth one must be able to maintain and without forced effort. Jealousy, dislike, envy, hatred are low-living, human traits, of a rejectable, and dejected nature. Elevate your mindfulness & emotional state when in the presence of those trapped in their negative miserable ones. I recommend when that's finished, recalibrate who you've allowed to access your inner/outer circle perimeter - the gift of your personal/professional contact & presence...then...adjust control measures accordingly. You can believe with full certainty you'll be on a healthy and gold-bricked wealthy boulevard to practicing soul abuse & neglect prevention - by the lightning-quick process of connection elimination. Selah... ~ Tracey Bond
Full Circle Moments quotes by Tracey Bond
The whole issue was almost unbelievably meaningless and small. He thought about the word "meaning" and tried to summon up his baby's face without looking at the photo, but all he could get was the heft of a full diaper and the plastic mobile over his crib turning in the breeze that the box fan in the doorway made. He imagined that the clock's second hand possessed awareness and knew that it was a second hand and that its job was to go around and around inside a circle of numbers forever at the same slow, unvarying machinelike rate, going no place it hadn't already been a million times before, and imagining the second hand was so awful it made his breath catch in his throat, and he looked quickly around to see if any of the examiners near him had heard it or were looking at him. ~ David Foster Wallace
Full Circle Moments quotes by David Foster Wallace
Tibet's Sky Burial
In Tibet cold makes it hard to pierce the earth
and wood, like air, is rare,
Death is no occasion for woe, but mirth -
So you're cut up into tiny tidbits bare.
They leave you chopped up upon a mountaintop,
your corpse ambrosial alms for the circling birds.
You ate crow all your life, now the crow eats you.

In Tibet, everything comes full circle,
our lives, our deaths, our words. ~ Beryl Dov
Full Circle Moments quotes by Beryl Dov
The Process of Explication"

I

Students, look at this table
And now when you see a man six feet tall
You can call him a fathom.

Likewise, students when yes and you do that and other stuff
Likewise too the shoe falls upon the sun
And the alphabet is full of blood
And when you knock upon a sentence in the
Process of explication you are going to need a lot of rags

Likewise, hello and goodbye.

II

Nick Algiers is my student
And he sits there in a heap in front of me thinking of suicide
And so, I am the one in front of him
And I dance around him in a circle and light him on fire
And with his face on fire, I am suddenly ashamed.

Likewise the distance between us then
Is the knife that is not marriage.

III

Students, I can't lie, I'd rather be doing something else, I guess
Like making love or writing a poem
Or drinking wine on a tropical island
With a handsome boy who wants to hold me all night.

I can't lie that dreams are ridiculous.
And in dreaming myself upon the moon
I have made the moon my home and no one
Can ever get to me to hit me or kiss my lips.

And as my bridegroom comes and takes me away from you
You all ask me what is wrong and I say it is
That I will never win. ~ Dorothea Lasky
Full Circle Moments quotes by Dorothea Lasky
IF EVERYONE HAS A full circle of human qualities to complete, then progress lies in the direction we haven't been. ~ Gloria Steinem
Full Circle Moments quotes by Gloria Steinem
A breathtaking vision in emerald silk, she was too exquisite to be flesh and blood; too regal and aloof to have ever let him touch her. He drew a long, strangled breath and realized he hadn't been breathing as he watched her. Neither had the four men beside him. "Good Lord," Count Dillard breathed, turning clear around and staring at her, "she cannot possibly be real."
"Exactly my thoughts when I first saw her," Roddy Carstairs averred, walking up behind them.
"I don't care what gossip says," Dillard continued, so besotted with her face that he forgot that one of the men in their circle was a part of that gossip. "I want an introduction."
He handed his glass to Roddy instead of the servant beside him and went off to seek an introduction from Jordan Townsende.
Watching him, it took a physical effort for Ian to maintain his carefully bland expression, tear his gaze from Dillard's back, and pay attention to Roddy Carstairs, who'd just greeted him. In fact, it took several moments before Ian could even remember his name. "How are you, Carstairs?" Ian said, finally recollecting it.
"Besotted, like half the males in here, it would seem," Roddy replied, tipping his head toward Elizabeth but scrutinizing Ian's bland face and annoyed eyes. "In fact, I'm so besotted that for the second time in my jaded career I've done the gallant for a damsel in distress. Your damsel, unless my intuition deceives me, and it never does, actually."
Ian lifted his glass to h ~ Judith McNaught
Full Circle Moments quotes by Judith McNaught
It's so funny whenever things come full circle. ~ Swoosie Kurtz
Full Circle Moments quotes by Swoosie Kurtz
Turn around, turn around, turn around
And you may come full circle
And be new here again ~ Gil Scott-Heron
Full Circle Moments quotes by Gil Scott-Heron
There were dozens of pictures similar to the one I had found in the Brooklyn Museum; the same forest, the same moon, the same silence. The moon was always full in these works, and it was always the same: small, perfectly round circle in the middle of the canvas, glowing with the palest white light. After I had looked at five or six of them, they gradually began to separate themselves from their surrounds, and I was no long able to see them as moons. They became holes in the canvas, apertures of whiteness looking out onto another work. Blakelock's eye, perhaps. A blank circle suspended in space, gazing down at things that were no longer there. ~ Paul Auster
Full Circle Moments quotes by Paul Auster
My whole life is a practical joke. Every evening and every show has really become about entertaining me. I was always like that. And now I've come full circle because that's what the TV show is too. ~ Howie Mandel
Full Circle Moments quotes by Howie Mandel
The process has now run full circle: Preaching originates in personal counseling; preaching is personal counseling on a group basis; personal counseling originates in preaching. Personal counseling imparts to the preacher a practical familiarity with human nature which he would not otherwise obtain. ~ Harry Emerson Fosdick
Full Circle Moments quotes by Harry Emerson Fosdick
He said, "how can you love something you don't understand?" I said; "That is easy. Love is a reflected energy and the energy has a feeling. This feeling is as tangible as any solid thing because love has mass, volume, and validity. That's all… and that is enough. ~ Debbie Lynn - 360 Degrees Full Circle
Full Circle Moments quotes by Debbie Lynn - 360 Degrees Full Circle
I had, I'll admit, effected a certain style - a method, if you will - of cupcake eating. To begin, you remove the cupcake liner carefully so as not to unnecessarily crumble the cake, and set it aside. You then turn the cupcake slowly in your hand, taking bites along the line where cake meets icing, your mouth filling with a perfect combination of both components. Once you've come full circle, you gently twist off the bottom half inch of cake, a move that takes considerable finesse and leaves a delicate sliver of cake - the ideal size for lying flat on your tongue and allowing it to slowly dissolve, building anticipation for that final bite. To finish, you are left with the center cylinder of cake and icing, the cupcake's very heart, sometimes filled with a surprising burst of custard or jam or mousse, sometimes not, but always, always, the most moist, flavorful bite of the entire cupcake. Take a breath before diving into that final, perfect bite; it is to be savored for as long as possible. Finally, of course, you scavenge the crumbs from the cupcake liner you set aside during step one, then ball the liner into your fist and overhand it into the nearest receptacle. Make the shot? You get another cupcake. ~ Meg Donohue
Full Circle Moments quotes by Meg Donohue
To put it squarely, as I say in my memoir, the eternal triangle has come full circle. ~ Muriel Spark
Full Circle Moments quotes by Muriel Spark
I'm convinced that the catastrophes of the next two decades will be so vast as to bring about a world where life, if it survives, will be far simpler - and the technologies, too. Then we will have come full circle to something like life on the savanna. ~ Kirkpatrick Sale
Full Circle Moments quotes by Kirkpatrick Sale
This is the way the wheel turns, coming at last to full circle, with wild as well as tame at he crib; lion and turtle-dove together an barnyard beasts lying down with the fox. For wild and tame are but two hlaves and here, where all begins and ends, everything must be whole.
And always, among the sleepers, there must be somebody waking - somewhere, someone, waking and watchful. Or what would happen to the world..? ~ P.L. Travers
Full Circle Moments quotes by P.L. Travers
Having exhausted every possibility at the moment when he was coming full circle, Antonino realised that photographing photographs was the only course that he had left - or, rather, the true course he had obscurely been seeking all this time. (Last line of the story The Adventure of a Photographer ) ~ Italo Calvino
Full Circle Moments quotes by Italo Calvino
On sacred messages: It isn't for the lack of you, but for our own safety that some things are better left alone… ~ Debbie Lynn - 360 Degrees Full Circle
