My Lovely,

Your guise is unparalleled, Your touch entices my thirst,Your presence thaws my soul, My torso threatens to burst. Awaiting your requited love, Forevermore I shall remain. Never exhausting of time, But enduring its tribunal pain.

It was hope that brought me love. ~ Nely Cab
David Chios quotes by Nely Cab
My heart's beat thy sight stole,
Taking mine unruly soul.
My pulse at rates of abrupt speed; I proclaimed love before my creed. Blooming flowers hold no compare To thy blissful beauty, oh so rare.
Give me agony or give me death,
I'll take thy heart as eternal breath.

Ceaselessly Yours,
David Chios ~ Nely Cab

I am not dangerous. Only the stories are dangerous. Only the fictions we create, especially when they become expectations. ~ David Levithan
David Chios quotes by David Levithan
How do you make a living if you're writing a book?" Joshua asked. The boy was getting a bike for Christmas that's all there was to it.
David squirmed in his seat. "It doesn't pay anything yet."
"So, then what do you do to pay the bills?" Joshua asked. Forget the bike, he was getting a go-cart. ~ R.L. Mathewson
David Chios quotes by R.L. Mathewson
The courageous conversation is the one you don't want to have. ~ David Whyte
David Chios quotes by David Whyte
Increasing Spiritual Error The same is true of the raging apostasy within the Church. The term, Evangelical, has lost its meaning, as some who claim to be Evangelicals are proclaiming that there are many roads to Heaven and there is no Hell. A Second Reformation is going on in the Church today, but unlike the first, which was based on a call to return to the Bible, this new reformation is calling people to jettison the Bible in behalf of their own feelings and beliefs. As the Church grows increasingly weak from its internal rot, society continues to plunge into darkness. ~ David Reagan
David Chios quotes by David Reagan
It happened so long ago I can't even be sure it happened as I say it did. Stories change in the telling, memory makes up as much as it knows. We were very small. The things we saw were all mixed up with the things we dreamed and the things we were scared of. ~ David Almond
David Chios quotes by David Almond
The secret of any kind of reporting is to go with a guide. So if you, you're going to see Hezbollah in Beirut, you go with someone who knows the local people, and you'll be fine. ~ David Ignatius
David Chios quotes by David Ignatius
What is sour in the house a bracing walk in the woods makes sweet. ~ Henry David Thoreau
David Chios quotes by Henry David Thoreau
The idea that people are nutritionally deprived because they don't eat grain has no scientific basis. ~ David Perlmutter
David Chios quotes by David Perlmutter
I listen to every type of metal under the sun. I'm not very discerning. ~ David Pajo
David Chios quotes by David Pajo
A life wasn't for anything. It simply was. ~ David Malouf
David Chios quotes by David Malouf
Putting up with the fear of being with the wrong person because you can't deal with the fear of being alone. ~ David Levithan
David Chios quotes by David Levithan
As Reagan's first budget director, Stockman, a former two-term congressman from Michigan, was the point man for the supply-side economics the new administration was pushing - the theory that taxes should be lowered to stimulate economic activity, which would in turn produce more tax revenue to compensate for the lower rates.

With his wonky whiz-kid persona, computer-like mental powers, and combative style, he browbeat Democratic congressmen and senators who challenged his views. But he soon incurred the wrath of political conservatives when he confessed to Atlantic reporter William Greider that supply-side economics was really window dressing for reducing the rates on high incomes. Among other acts of apostasy, he called doctrinaire supply-siders "naive." The 1981 article created a sensation and prompted Reagan to ask him over lunch, "You have hurt me. Why?" Stockman famously described the meeting as a "trip to the woodshed." Though the president himself forgave him, Stockman's loose lips undercut his power at the White House, and in 1985 he left government to become an investment banker at Salomon Brothers. ~ David Carey
David Chios quotes by David Carey
The present moment is
inseparable from life.
I want the present moment
to be my friend. I want
to be friends with anyone
I encounter now.
I want to be friends with Life.
This is a decision I am willing
to make again and again.
It's one I want to and will
make every chance I get.
Ask: what's my relationship with
Life? ~ Joshua David Swift
David Chios quotes by Joshua David Swift

David Chios quotes by Thayer David

David Chios quotes by David Berg

For magicians -- whether modern entertainers or indigenous, tribal sorcerers -- have in common the fact that they work with the malleable texture of perception. ~ David Abram
David Chios quotes by David Abram
You know, how people say it's good luck if a bird shits on you? and people believe it! i just want to grab them and say, 'dude, don't you realize this whole superstition was made up because no one could think of anything else good to say to a person who'd just been shit upon? ~ David Levithan

It was like somebody had sprinkled fairy dust on the whole city," said Cheryl Bertelli, one of Maud's delirious patrons. ~ David Talbot
David Chios quotes by David Talbot
The police can use violence to say, expel citizens from a public park because they are enforcing duly constituted laws. Laws gain their legitimacy from the Constitution. The Constitution gains its legitimacy from something called 'the people.' But how did 'the people' actually grant legitimacy to the Constitution? As the American and French revolutions make clear: basically, through acts of illegal violence. So what gives the police the right to use force to suppress the very thing–a popular uprising–that granted them their right to use force to begin with? ~ David Graeber
David Chios quotes by David Graeber
On your very worst, most rebellious, and most faithless day, you can run into the holy presence of your heavenly Father and he will not turn you away. ~ Paul David Tripp
David Chios quotes by Paul David Tripp
If all of the money was gone from my life,
Would you still love me?" a man asks his wife.
"Of course," she replies. "Come here, let me kiss you.
I'll love you forever, but boy would I miss you! ~ David Rakoff
David Chios quotes by David Rakoff
Hence also the weird viewer complicity behind TV's sham "breakthrough programs": Joe Briefcase needs that PR-patina of "freshness" and "outrageousness" to quiet his conscience while he goes about getting from television what we've all been trained to want from it: some strangely American, profoundly shallow, and eternally temporary reassurance. ~ David Foster Wallace
David Chios quotes by David Foster Wallace
David has asked me, a number of people have asked me and said, What performance do you like best or what's the best film you've made and so on and I don't really have any hesitation that the film I'm least embarrassed by and ashamed of or uneasy about is Shadowlands. ~ Richard Attenborough

No theoretician, no writer on art, however interesting he or she might be, could be as interesting as Picasso. A good writer on art may give you an insight to Picasso, but, after all, Picasso was there first. ~ David Hockney

FYI, this book is not that serious. This is meant to be read when super bored, then forgotten fifteen minutes later. It could be read cover-to-cover during one medium-to-severe case of diarrhea. ~ David Spade

David Chios quotes by David Letterman
Eco" comes from the Greek word oikos, meaning home. Ecology is the study of home, while economics is the management of home. Ecologists attempt to define the conditions and principles that govern life's ability to flourish through time and change. Societies and our constructs, like economics, must adapt to those fundamentals defined by ecology. The challenge today is to put the "eco" back into economics and every aspect of our lives. ~ David Suzuki
David Chios quotes by David Suzuki
