On translating text into the new language as it is in source language, there is a chance of it being emerged as an absurd sentence in the target language making no sense at all. In the attempt to make the translation meaningful to the target language, there exists a risk of the original work getting meddled by the translator's style. ~ Suman Pokhrel
Challenges In Translation quotes by Suman Pokhrel
There are six teachings that you might misinterpret: patience, yearning, excitement, compassion, priorities, and joy. The misinterpretations are: You're patient when it means you'll get your way but not when your practice brings up challenges. You yearn for worldly things but not for an open heart and mind. You get excited about wealth and entertainment but not about your potential for enlightenment. You have compassion for those you like and admire but not for those you don't. Worldly gain is your priority rather than cultivating loving-kindness and compassion. You feel joy when your enemies suffer, but you do not rejoice in others' good fortune. ~ Pema Chodron
Challenges In Translation quotes by Pema Chodron
Clearly we're in historic times here. We have - one of the tributaries of the Mississippi River is a river called the Merrimack. And the crest areas there - they're going to be a number of feet, 2, 3, 4, over what they were in '93 or '82. And on the Mississippi River itself, down below St. Louis, we're still projecting a couple of feet over that historic number. So the bottom line is there's a significant amount of water that's causing evacuations and challenges throughout that whole area. ~ Jay Nixon
Challenges In Translation quotes by Jay Nixon
The advertisement challenges potential candidates: "Think you can get HubSpot on the cover of Time magazine or featured on 60 Minutes?" Take it from someone who worked at Time's primary competitor - the only way a company like HubSpot will ever merit that kind of coverage is if an employee brings in a bag of guns and shoots the place up. ~ Dan Lyons
Challenges In Translation quotes by Dan Lyons
There are challenges as far as underfunding in various parts of the city. But spirit and sense of community is so much stronger in the places we've been. In Hollywood and Beverly Hills for example, people stay to themselves and live away from others in their gated communities. Despite being a native West Angelino, I had never really felt a strong sense of community until "South Of Wilshire". I now feel it because of the show. ~ Harvey Levin
Challenges In Translation quotes by Harvey Levin
One of the biggest challenges we had in the first decade was not that many people had personal computers. There weren't that many people to sell to, and it was hard to identify them. ~ Steve Case
Challenges In Translation quotes by Steve Case
The greatest results in life are usually attained by simple means and the exercise of ordinary qualities. These may for the most part be summed up in these two - common sense and perseverance. ~ Owen Feltham
Challenges In Translation quotes by Owen Feltham
I KNOW THAT I CAN'T SOLVE ALL THE MATERNAL HEALTH CHALLENGES IN THE WORLD BY MYSELF. I NEED AND WANT OTHERS TO JOIN ME. ~ Christy Turlington
Challenges In Translation quotes by Christy Turlington
Beyond the offer tables and online bestseller charts are many other narratives: books that take readers away from what they know, challenge the assumptions that underpin life elsewhere and present a strikingly different world ["How Books Get Lost In translation," Financial Times, January 15, 2015]. ~ Ann Morgan
Challenges In Translation quotes by Ann Morgan
Ending racial discrimination in jury selection can be accomplished only by eliminating peremptory challenges entirely. ~ Thurgood Marshall
Challenges In Translation quotes by Thurgood Marshall
Going forward, we are mindful of the challenges we face in the competitive retail landscape, but we have demonstrated that our concept of building compelling brands that focus on the customers' lifestyles can produce superior results. We will not waver from that concept. ~ Richard Hayne
Challenges In Translation quotes by Richard Hayne
Obeying the Spirit instead of your own self-centered whims will lead you to places you've never been, challenge you in ways you have never been challenged, and invite levels of sacrifice you never dreamed you could make. This is the power and the promise of full-throttle faith, of living a life fueled solely by God. ~ Bill Hybels
Challenges In Translation quotes by Bill Hybels
Look on each day that comes as a challenge, as a test of courage. The pain will come in waves, some days worse than others, for no apparent reason. Accept the pain. Little by little, you will find new strength, new vision, born of the very pain and loneliness which seem, at first, impossible to master. ~ Daphne Du Maurier
Challenges In Translation quotes by Daphne Du Maurier
So the aim for the press was a mixture of things: to publish under-represented writing, which is an intersection of original language, style, content, and often its author's gender. To publish it properly, in a way that makes it clear that this is art, not anthropology. To spotlight the importance of translation in making cultures less dully homogenous. ~ Deborah Smith
Challenges In Translation quotes by Deborah Smith
Blessings come in disguise. And challenges can be a blessing. ~ Diane Lane
Challenges In Translation quotes by Diane Lane
Over the years, there have been challenges about who can use our name. It's quite simple: A majority of people left in the band at a certain time own the name. It's not like I'm the guy who has the name under my own contract. ~ Chris Squire
Challenges In Translation quotes by Chris Squire
In those cultures lacking unfamiliar challenges, external or internal, where fundamental change is unneeded, novel ideas need not be encouraged. Indeed, heresies can be declared dangerous; thinking can be rigidified; and sanctions against impermissible ideas can be enforced
all without much harm. But under varied and changing environmental or biological circumstances, simply copying the old ways no longer works. Then, a premium awaits those who, instead of blandly following tradition, or trying to foist their preferences on to the physical or social Universe, are open to what the Universe teaches. ~ Carl Sagan
Challenges In Translation quotes by Carl Sagan
This is the difference between someone whose heart is purified and sound and one whose heart is impure and corrupt. Impure people oppress, and the pure-hearted not only forgive their oppressors, but elevate them in status and character. In order to purify ourselves, we must begin to recognize this truth. This is what this book is all about - a book of self-purification and a manual of liberation. If we work on our hearts, if we actually implement what is suggested here, we'll begin to see changes in our lives, our condition, our society, and even within our own family dynamics. It is a blessing that we have this science of purification, a blessing that this teaching exists in the world today. What remains is for us to take these teachings seriously.
Signs, Symptoms and Cures of the Spiritual Diseases of the Heart. Translation and Commentary of Imam Mawlud's Matharat al-Qulub. Schaykh Hamza Yusuf. E-Book S. 10 ~ Hamza Yusuf
Challenges In Translation quotes by Hamza Yusuf
A circular plot structure, often seen in adventure novels and quest fantasies, is a narrative devise involving setting, character, and theme. Typically a protagonist ventures from home (or the starting place of the story), goes on a journey, often a dangerous one in which many challenges are overcome, and then returns home a changed person. The plot is usually chronological, with the events occurring in a setting that becomes a circle. By returning the character to the place where he started, the author can emphasize the character's growth or change while also highlighting the theme of the story. ~ Carl M. Tomlinson
Challenges In Translation quotes by Carl M. Tomlinson
My mother died yesterday, yesterday many years ago. You know, what amazed me the most the next day after her leaving was the fact that the buildings were still in place, the streets were still full of cars running, full of people who were walking, seemingly ignoring that my whole world has just disappeared.
(rough translation) ~ Marc Levy
Challenges In Translation quotes by Marc Levy
No matter what happens, you need to dream big. Unrealistically big! Even if it sounds totally crazy to you, I need you to still dream it and visualize it. If you come across challenges on the way to your dreams, do not go around them. Do not try to skip or leave them for later. Face them, fight through them, and win. Get to your goal, no matter what, and never lose hope or faith in your positive outcome. And when you achieve it, move on to the next one. ~ Veronika Gasparyan
Challenges In Translation quotes by Veronika Gasparyan
A writer who wants to be translated and published abroad faces a very difficult challenge: first of all, he must make sure that his book is cosmopolitan in the best sense of the word, that it is interesting to a global audience. Nobody is going to read about problems that they don't care about. ~ Sergei Lukyanenko
Challenges In Translation quotes by Sergei Lukyanenko
It's always hard but the reality is, especially in my case, that every time I go to work I have to do it so it's become part of the job. It's an extra challenge but it's also quite often another extra tool that you have to really think consciously about getting into the character. So while it does require more work, it's maybe even an advantage to a degree because it forces you to switch, to consciously have to jump into and out of the character. ~ Eric Bana
Challenges In Translation quotes by Eric Bana
Most important, however, is the third avenue to meaning in life: even the helpless victim of a
hopeless situation, facing a fate he cannot change, may rise above himself, may grow beyond
himself, and by so doing change himself. He may turn a personal tragedy into a triumph. ~ Viktor E. Frankl
Challenges In Translation quotes by Viktor E. Frankl
The most enjoyable part in writing a series is being able to visit a world I have created and revisit old friends. The challenges are making the book fresh and new for readers who have started from the beginning while still adding old information for new readers. ~ Christine Feehan
Challenges In Translation quotes by Christine Feehan
Yes beyonce, thank you very very much!!!

Growing up wasn't easy for me, even as a boy, then as a black boy, then it was even harder as a black boy who lives in Africa. You might think that white privilege is more prevalent in America but no, it is worse here in Africa were white people are literally worshiped as gods.

While growing up as a boy in my teens, i had serious self esteem issues, i didn't like the color of my skin, i didn't like my hair, i didn't like my butt, and i was a boy!!! can you believe it? in 2007 i even tried bleaching my skin, lucky for me i bought a fake bleaching cream, translation, it didn't work. I dyed my hair blonde several times.

But after a while i started to get my self esteem in place, the fact that i had so many white folks as friends at that time didn't help, truth is most white people living here in Africa claim not to be racist but when you catch that stare, hear that comment, see the way they react, you can smell racism all over them. I can give you a simple example, I had a white friend years ago who was an exec at a big oil company here in Nigeria, I had just graduated and needed a job, I spoke to him about it and y'all wont believe what he suggested, well, he suggested I work as his steward.

You see, a lot of Nigerians will jump at it, but i smelt racism all over that offer and i wasn't gonna be a slave to a white man who still had slave-owner tendencies, he totally undermined my degree and fel ~ Joseph Ejiro
Challenges In Translation quotes by Joseph Ejiro
Every movie that I do, I always try and better myself in the next one and try and find a part which is more challenging. It's a little vulnerable to do that, to always push the envelope. You position yourself for a lot more flack or a lot more critique because you're trying to do something different. Sometimes you're good at it and sometimes you're not, but it's a chance you have to take to make life exciting. ~ Priyanka Chopra
Challenges In Translation quotes by Priyanka Chopra
I learnt a lot from my Broadway experience, it was one of the most challenging things I will probably ever have to do in my entire life, because it was eight shows a week - live singing with really hard choreography - and the spontaneity, you don't know what's going to happen. ~ Ariana Grande
Challenges In Translation quotes by Ariana Grande
never scared of challenges that comes into our life like the cloud and rain, because the rainbows will come to surpass them; and teach ourselves to be a RAINBOW in other people's cloud, to make them happy (Ejump, 2018) ~ Ejump, 2018
Challenges In Translation quotes by Ejump, 2018
They're auras, Davey. I see them, too. The longer you stare at them, the wider the energy field expands until more colors begin to show themselves. ~ Christina Westover
