In the Top 40, half the songs are secret messages to the teen world to drop out, turn on, and groove with the chemicals and light shows at discotheques. ~ Art Linkletter

There came a moment in the middle of the song when he suddenly felt every heartbeat in the room & after that he never forgot that he was part of something much bigger ~ Brian Andreas
Biplob Song quotes by Brian Andreas
According to Shaivism, anupaya may also be reached by entering into the infinite blissfulness of the Self through the powerful experiences of sensual pleasures. This practice is designed to help the practitioner reach the highest levels by accelerating their progress through the sakta and sambhava upayas. These carefully guarded doctrines of Tantric sadhana are the basis for certain practices, like the use of the five makaras (hrdaya) mentioned earlier. The experience of a powerful sensual pleasure quickly removes a person's dullness or indifference. It awakens in them the hidden nature and source of blissfulness and starts its inner vibration. Abhinavagupta says that only those people who are awakened to their own inner vitality can truly be said to have a heart (hrdaya). They are known as sahrdaya (connoisseurs). Those uninfluenced by this type of experiences are said to be heartless. In his words:

"It is explained thus - The heart of a person, shedding of its attitude of indifference while listening to the sweet sounds of a song or while feeling the delightful touch of something like sandalpaste, immediately starts a wonderful vibratory movement. (This) is called ananda-sakti and because of its presence the person concerned is considered to have a heart (in their body) (Tantraloka, III.209-10).

People who do not become one (with such blissful experiences), and who do not feel their physical body being merged into it, are said to be heartless because t ~ Balajinnatha Pandita
Biplob Song quotes by Balajinnatha Pandita
The cicadas buzzing, I can hear them through the window. Buzzing louder and louder. Just like the night I sat by the window in the dark, gasping for air, feeling the riddle wriggling in my chest, hearing the monster's heavy footsteps in my ears. And suddenly I know. What they do all those years living in the ground. The nymphs who are to become cicadas. Maybe they don't know it themselves, but they are writing their song. Collecting the notes in the dark earth. The song rising to the sky, this is how it is, this is how it always is. The song floating toward the sky comes from the underworld. ~ Lene Fogelberg
Biplob Song quotes by Lene Fogelberg
I have all these revelations as I'm writing. Each song is like a chapter of my diary. ~ Kid Cudi
Biplob Song quotes by Kid Cudi
I think in most cases, when you're writing a song, you're just making up a little story, and you're not really thinking about making a point one way or another about it. You're just coming up with a little scenario and seeing it through, and that's it. ~ Adam Schlesinger
Biplob Song quotes by Adam Schlesinger
Somewhere a bird sang, its chant hanging plaintive and melancholy in the still air ... I think it's a sort of lark or something. Our tradition has it that they sing with the voices of lost lovers. If the stars are smiling on them, you will hear its mate call back in a moment. ~ Jane Johnson
Biplob Song quotes by Jane Johnson
Words are charms. It's like a song you didn't even know you knew. ~ Ian Frazier
Biplob Song quotes by Ian Frazier
One of the things that I'm dying to do is to sing the hook on a big rap song. No one's ever called me to do that. ~ Darius Rucker
Biplob Song quotes by Darius Rucker
It took ten years
In the woods to tell that a mushroom
Stoppers the mouth of a buried corpse, that birds
Are the uttered thought of trees, that a greying wolf
Howls the same old song at the moon, year in, year out
Season after season, same rhyme, same reason. ~ Carol Ann Duffy
Biplob Song quotes by Carol Ann Duffy
When I started this song I was still thirty-three The age that Mozart died and sweet Jesus was set free Keats and Shelley too soon finished, Charley Parker would be And I fantasized some tragedy'd be soon curtailing me Well just today I had my birthday I made it thirty-four Mere mortal, not immortal, not star-crossed anymore I've got this problem with my aging I no longer can ignore A tame and toothless tabby can't produce a lion's roar. ~ Harry Chapin
Biplob Song quotes by Harry Chapin
I had this idea when I was in the hospital, .. It seems like every year I always have different people come and ask for a Christmas song and it seemed strangely appropriate for me this year because Christmas is the time that I am supposed to be sort of back and up and running and whatnot. So I just wrote a song about returning from this very interesting journey and kind of getting back to normal and getting back to work and my regular life. ~ Andrew McMahon
Biplob Song quotes by Andrew McMahon
I write songs from the point of view I had at a time;I'm not tryingto write songs from a young person's point of view. That only ends in disaster. ~ Nick Cave
Biplob Song quotes by Nick Cave
Don't get me wrong: there are aspects of buying music online that I love. Instantly being able to hear a song the moment it crosses your mind? Where's the downside? However, I do feel for those too young to remember the thrill of going record shopping. ~ John Niven
Biplob Song quotes by John Niven
Here is the soundless cypress on the lawn:
It listens, listens. Taller trees beyond
Listen. The moon at the unruffled pond
Stares. And you sing, you sing.
That star-enchanted song falls through the air
From lawn to lawn down terraces of sound,
Darts in white arrows on the shadowed ground;
And all the night you sing.
My dreams are flowers to which you are a bee
As all night long I listen, and my brain
Receives your song, then loses it again
In moonlight on the lawn.
Now is your voice a marble high and white,
Then like a mist on fields of paradise,
Now is a raging fire, then is like ice,
Then breaks, and it is dawn. ~ Harold Monro
Biplob Song quotes by Harold Monro
Finally I started really opening up as a songwriter and an interpreter and taking songs from all kind of genres and stripping them down to just lyrics and the story inside the lyrics, and trying to make them really mine. ~ Lizz Wright
Biplob Song quotes by Lizz Wright
Every song I am listening to
It has an imaginary story about you. ~ Ahmed Ali Anjum
Biplob Song quotes by Ahmed Ali Anjum
The dance is sweeter than the song.' "Let ~ Janet Kagan
Biplob Song quotes by Janet Kagan
I hate being manipulated by song. Don't tell me what I should be feeling. I don't want cellos or violins to be telling me that I should be bawling right now. ~ Vera Farmiga
Biplob Song quotes by Vera Farmiga
...of the emperor whose gorgeous clockwork bird had seized up in the end; on his deathbed he'd called for the dark-feathered nightingale, knowing he never should have chosen a shiny substitute, because nothing but her real song could save him now. Was there any music that would bring back memories once they were lost in the fog? What were we, once our stories had drifted off like smoke? ~ Emma Donoghue
Biplob Song quotes by Emma Donoghue
There, peeping among the cloud-wrack above a dark tor high up in the mountains, Sam saw a white star twinkle for a while. The beauty of it smote his heart, as he looked up out of the forsaken land, and hope returned to him. For like a shaft, clear and cold, the thought pierced him that in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was a light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach. His song in the Tower had been defiance rather than hope; for then he was thinking of himself. Now, for a moment, his own fate, and even his master's, ceased to trouble him. He crawled back into the brambles and laid himself by Frodo's side, and putting away all fear he cast himself into a deep untroubled sleep. ~ J.R.R. Tolkien
Biplob Song quotes by J.R.R. Tolkien
I'm an obsessive hiker and I do it every day for two hours and it really helps me when it comes to learning songs or scripts. ~ Mandy Patinkin
Biplob Song quotes by Mandy Patinkin
Those lyrics tell the story Dahlia, our story. I wrote that song five years ago and even now when I sing it, your face is the face I see. You're unforgettable Dahlia. You're perfect, really. ~ Kim Karr
Biplob Song quotes by Kim Karr
derelict. my voice cracked and yolk poured out. wind chimes rigid, no breeze, no song. my wings found hidden in your suitcase. pleas for help mistaken for a swan song. i'm stuffing pages from my journal down my throat as kindling. hoping the smoke will get the taste of you out of my mouth. he looks at me from across the room and all i want is to push him against the wall. ravage. ravage. carnage has never been more vogue. is it still art if it doesn't bring you to your knees? lover, let me prey at your altar. let me bare my fangs in praise. don't i look so pretty in a funeral shroud? i keep time with the click of my creaking bones. dance with me under the milky translucence of a world suffocating. how did you find me? i buried myself beneath the cicadas. is a girl trapped in glass still a prize?
let me get under your skin. i want to know what your fears taste like. i want to consume. ~ Taylor Rhodes
Biplob Song quotes by Taylor Rhodes
Jon:'What are you doing up there? Why aren't you at the feast?'
Tyrion: 'Too hot, too noisy, and I'd drunk too much wine', the dwarf told him. 'I learned long ago that it is considered rude to vomit on your brother. ~ George R R Martin
Biplob Song quotes by George R R Martin
At the end of the day, I'm just trying to write a song that I like, that I'm not afraid to turn loose on the world. I do read a lot. I know a lot of people who read more, but I do try to keep a book in my hand most of the time, and I think that informs any kind of output that I'm going to have. ~ Jason Isbell
Biplob Song quotes by Jason Isbell
I don't think you could pull one Bob Marley song that didn't have quotes from the Torah or the Old Testament. ~ Matisyahu
Biplob Song quotes by Matisyahu
In my village, one of our priests says that love between men is a great sin- the other argues that nothing at all is sinful except weak ale, overdone meat, and building a fire in any way but his. ~ Peter S. Beagle
Biplob Song quotes by Peter S. Beagle
I had been told by a number of people that if you get half of what you want on your first album, you're doing really well. Pretty much every single thing they had was something that I liked. There were maybe one or two songs I didn't like, and they were taken off the album quickly. ~ Clay Aiken
Biplob Song quotes by Clay Aiken
the siren song/called silence ~ Steven Erikson
Biplob Song quotes by Steven Erikson
You have to remember that writing those sorta songs is not reality, it's more like trance, dream, y'know, like dreamwork. The mythical thing can enter the creating but there's the mythical place and the real place. And there's both ... I get it between waking and sleeping. Or, when I'm doing something else. I don't sit down and think I'm gonna write about subject X or subject Y. I could be doing something and an impression comes in from outside and the song emerges out of that. It's never thought about or contrived. ~ Van Morrison
Biplob Song quotes by Van Morrison
The first music you really fall in love with is more than just music. It's something that clicks in you beyond the song; it's a message or image that causes you to jump in and not let go. ~ Taylor Hanson
Biplob Song quotes by Taylor Hanson
So it's the unwinding of your nervous system. The corresponding experience to what winds you up comes out in your dreams. To write a song then, even one like Don't Bother Me, helps to get rid of some subconscious burden. Writing a song is like going to confession. ~ George Harrison
Biplob Song quotes by George Harrison
As long as you give my friend Jonah Lehrer a free pizza, I'll write a song about your restaurant. ~ Bob Dylan
Biplob Song quotes by Bob Dylan
I don't feel I have to write deep and meaningful songs; they can be light and meaningless. It has to do with the place I am in my life, a really good place. ~ Neil Diamond
Biplob Song quotes by Neil Diamond
I drew a chair up beside her and sang. All I do is dream of you the whole night through ... It was a horrible rendition, and I quite enjoyed attempting it, setting the notes free from the song as each one went farther and farther astray. ~ Helen Oyeyemi
Biplob Song quotes by Helen Oyeyemi
But I'm just having fun playing and giving Botox injections to the older songs. ~ Richard Marx
Biplob Song quotes by Richard Marx
I just feel like the songs that come out are the songs that come. ~ John Frusciante
Biplob Song quotes by John Frusciante
The way a musical can make us feel is unlike anything else, in song and particularly in dance. I think people fly through plate-glass windows when they get shot because movies don't have dance scenes any more. This is what we do instead. ~ Joss Whedon
Biplob Song quotes by Joss Whedon
Nothing is more frustrating to me than putting a song on an album and regret putting it on there. I'm excited that there are no songs on 'Tailgates & Tanlines' that I'm iffy about. ~ Luke Bryan
Biplob Song quotes by Luke Bryan
I've always got songs ready to go. It's not a challenge to conjure anything, it's just whether the music I supply is desirable. ~ Nicholas Thorburn
