All Living Things quotes by Sabrina Reber
(As are all living things. All are caught in the river of power that is the Force, trapped by its currents. Only those who wield the dark side of the Force are capable of changing those currents; they are riverbreakers. They do not surrender to fate. They are its foes.) The ~ Chuck Wendig
All Living Things quotes by Chuck Wendig
In these gaudy times, we think we will shortly reach the point where everything is known, but the fact is we are ignoring the essential, which is love of all living things, of all beauty both visible and hidden. ~ Georges Rouault
All Living Things quotes by Georges Rouault
My mother taught me a lot about respect for all living things - for plants and animals. I am a vegetarian. I was brought up that way. ~ David LaChapelle
All Living Things quotes by David LaChapelle
Of all living things, only humans consciously anticipate death; the consequent need to choose how to behave in its face - to worry about how to die - distinguishes us from other animals. The need to manage death is the particular lot of humanity. ~ Drew Gilpin Faust
All Living Things quotes by Drew Gilpin Faust
The indigenous understanding has its basis of spirituality in a recognition of the interconnectedness and interdependence of all living things, a holistic and balanced view of the world. All things are bound together. All things connect. What happens to the Earth happens to the children of the earth. Humankind has not woven the web of life; we are but one thread. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves. ~ Rebecca Adamson
All Living Things quotes by Rebecca Adamson
All living things including man are interdependence upon each other. ~ Lailah Gifty Akita
All Living Things quotes by Lailah Gifty Akita
It is odd that we have so little relationship with nature, with the insects and the leaping frog and the owl that hoots among the hills calling for its mate. We never seem to have a feeling for all living things on the earth. ~ Jiddu Krishnamurti
All Living Things quotes by Jiddu Krishnamurti
Desire is life trying to continue to be life. All living things desire ... Life is wanting. ~ Kim Stanley Robinson
All Living Things quotes by Kim Stanley Robinson
At the deepest level, all living things that have ever been looked at have the same DNA code. And many of the same genes. ~ Richard Dawkins
All Living Things quotes by Richard Dawkins
Humans will die like all living things do, but we have the added burden of knowing that we will. ~ S. Jay Olshansky
All Living Things quotes by S. Jay Olshansky
All things grow, flourish, die, and re-grow. Life and death are continuous and fluid. Like the Sun and the Moon which die and are reborn, so do the seasons and all living things. ~ Brandi L. Bates
All Living Things quotes by Brandi L. Bates
Okay, he hadn't exactly been happy. But welcome to the club, right? He had eyes. He could see auras, those swirls of color that surrounded all living things, as unique as fingerprints. And those auras told him there were a lot of people out there who weren't quite happy or exactly miserable. And they were all getting along okay. ~ Melinda Metz
All Living Things quotes by Melinda Metz
It seems sad, that on the one hand such exquisite creatures should live out their lives and exhibit their charms only in these wild inhospitable regions...while on the other hand, should civilized man ever reach these distant lands... we may be sure that he will so disturb the nicely-balance relations of organic and inorganic nature as to cause the disappearance, and finally the extinction, of these very beings whose wonderful structure and beauty he alone is fitted to appreciate and enjoy.

This consideration must surely tell us that all living things were not made for man. ~ Alfred Russel Wallace
All Living Things quotes by Alfred Russel Wallace
Creation is boundless
Life is eternal
All living things dance with joy
when they realise that in every atom
of time and space
is the spark of eternal life

Everyone is an aspect of Light
and are potentially the blazing glory
of the whole of Light
Be aware of your inner eternality
Be aware that you are not a speck of dust
on the face of the Universe

You are a cell in a mighty blood stream
of Cosmic power
Know that you are a living vital part
of the essence of creative life ~ Natasha Rendell
All Living Things quotes by Natasha Rendell
Those of us who are in tune with nature and animals know it is our way of life, Bram. There is a connection to all living things, a vibration of Life. Animals were not given a power of choice. A lion does not try and eat legumes, nor an elephant meat. We believe the best way to communicate with nature, God, is through a liaison: the animals ... Nature hears one voice and obeys it. That is why ten or ten thousand birds may rise from the surface of a lake at the same time and yet never touch one another. Man only hears his own voice. He constantly bumps into another. Even his voice mirrors his erratic walk, jealousy, hate, ego, pride, lying, cheating. He makes his own judgements and falls prey to his greed. Remember, the moon is reflected on one drop of water as is the entire ocean
so it is with God. He is reflected ins each living thing
in a grain of sand as the entire shore, one star as the whole universe. Each animal as in all creatures. -Jagrat ~ Ralph Helfer
All Living Things quotes by Ralph Helfer
Life is a miracle, and we need to not fear trying to achieve our potential and reveal the remarkable creation we and all living things are and that our Creator has built into us the ability to induce self-healing. ~ Bernie Siegel
All Living Things quotes by Bernie Siegel
all living things, you can't tell them what they should be. You can only help them find what suits them best. ~ Chele Cooke
All Living Things quotes by Chele Cooke
The Bible makes clear a basic truth that we self-centered humans find difficult to accept, namely, that the natural universe was not created primarily for us. There is no doubt that God wants us to enjoy it and even use its resources to optimize a good life for ourselves. But the ultimate purpose of creation is worship. Nature and all living things were created to glorify God. ~ Tony Campolo
All Living Things quotes by Tony Campolo
As long as the ego overcomes the heart of a man, evil will always exist, and the enemies of God will continue to multiply and thrive. If a tree is bearing bad fruit, you do not destroy the tree by cutting off its branches or eliminating its fruit, but by destroying its roots. I want you to look at the world as this poisoned tree. Even if we eliminate our enemies today, we will create new ones tomorrow. The solution is very simple and this formula is written in all your holy books. LOVE IS THY ANSWER. The strongest weapon to destroy the snakes of hate and evil is LOVE. PURE UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. However, to be able to emit the right frequency of love, you must succeed daily in your own personal battle of good versus evil: heart (conscience) vs. mind (ego). Once you learn how to use your heart to embrace all living things as you do your own reflection, and use your heart to detect truths and dictate your actions, your heart will not be fully activated to LOVE. Where there is LOVE, there will remain Truth and LIGHT. Take away the LOVE, and you will always remain in the dark. ~ Suzy Kassem
All Living Things quotes by Suzy Kassem
A realization washed over her in that cold, dark space: this was how virtually all living things born on earth have died - with teeth tearing through their muscle and bones. We humans have computers and soap and houses but it doesn't change the fact that everything that walks is nothing but food for something else. ~ David Wong
All Living Things quotes by David Wong
The exhausted earth groaned and quivered under the monotonous glare of the sun. Spirals of heat rose from the ground as if from molten lava. A panting lizard crawled painfully over the fevered rock in search of a shady crevice. Cattle and dogs cringed under the scanty shade of the trees and waited for the rain to deliver them from the heat and thirst. Instead the heat grew more intense and oppressive each day, singeing and stifling all living things with an invisible sheet of fire, which only the rain could put out.

The drought had persisted for over a month. ~ S. Rajaratnam
All Living Things quotes by S. Rajaratnam
The garden is one of the two great metaphors for humanity.
The garden is about life and beauty and the impermanence of all living things.
The garden is about feeding your children, providing food for the tribe.
It's part of an urgent territorial drive that we can probably trace back to animals storing food.
It's a competitive display mechanism, like having a prize bull, this greed for the best tomatoes and English tea roses.
It's about winning; about providing society with superior things; and about proving that you have taste, and good values, and you work hard.
And what a wonderful relief, every so often, to know who the enemy is.
Because in the garden, the enemy is everything: the aphids, the weather, time.
And so you pour yourself into it, care so much, and see up close so much birth, and growth, and beauty, and danger, and triumph.
And then everything dies anyway, right?
But you just keep doing it. ~ Anne Lamott
All Living Things quotes by Anne Lamott
First, you may cause no harm to any living creature. All living things have the sacred life force within them. You will come to understand that the physical form of a creature makes no difference, and their behavior, whether you perceive it as good or bad, makes no difference either. ~ Tom Hoffman
All Living Things quotes by Tom Hoffman
If i could be the best on one thing,

I wish that would be

"RELATIONSHIP"

with God,
with my Family,
with my Love ones,
with all my Friends,

and with All living things.

In which, most of us fails. ~ Bradley B. Dalina
All Living Things quotes by Bradley B. Dalina
THE TREE OF LIFE

The sun is rising,
And the ether dance at the first sight of his light,
As he ascends like a phoenix from the ashes of morality,
His luminous rays form the magnificent tree of life.
He springs up from the east,
Spreading his long arms like branches,
Over the horizons of milky meadows and open seas,
Extending his wings to embrace all living things.
He walks on water and grazes through fields,
Pouring his butter like honey to feed the Earth.
Towering over all of creation,
He who is the lamp of the universe,
The power source of all life.
And in his truth and light,
Everything becomes aroused
Like a flower,
And everything is given
Sight. ~ Suzy Kassem
All Living Things quotes by Suzy Kassem
What keeps all living things busy and in motion is the striving to exist. But when existence is secured, they do not know what to do: that is why the second thing that sets them in motion is a striving to get rid of the burden of existence, not to feel it any longer, 'to kill time', i.e. to escape boredom. ~ Arthur Schopenhauer
All Living Things quotes by Arthur Schopenhauer
We live in a self-organizing and self-correcting universe. For every problem, there is a potentially miraculous solution. A closed heart deflects the miracle, while an open heart brings it forth ... In every moment, we make a choice between the heavenly awareness of our connection to all living things, or the hell of the delusion that we are separate and alone. The mind will manufacture according to our choice; whichever we choose, we will seem to experience. ~ Marianne Williamson
All Living Things quotes by Marianne Williamson
Study the behavior of animals and you will understand human psychology and sociology. Study a flower excited under sunlight, and you will understand how all living things respond to light. The Almighty has provided everything in nature. Observe nature and you will grow. The cures of all illnesses are found in nature in the shapes of the body parts they were created to cure. ~ Suzy Kassem
All Living Things quotes by Suzy Kassem
We must fight against the spirit of unconscious cruelty with which we treat the animals. Animals suffer as much as we do. True humanity does not allow us to impose such sufferings on them. It is our duty to make the whole world recognize it. Until we extend our circle of compassion to all living things, humanity will not find peace. ~ Albert Schweitzer
All Living Things quotes by Albert Schweitzer
What a dull universe it would be if everything in it conformed to our expectations, if it held nothing to surprise or baffle us or confound our common sense. A century ago no one foresaw the existence of black holes, an expanding universe, oceans on Jupiter's moons, or DNA. What could be more enriching than to know that we share a common origin with all living things, that we are kin to chimpanzees, redwoods and mollusks? And isn't it a source of wonder to realize that the iron in our blood and the calcium in our bones were created in the bellies of supernovas? ~ Steven Pinker
All Living Things quotes by Steven Pinker
t can be easily argued that all living things are conscious in some aspect, but many would agree that advanced consciousness like our own is unique. ~ Kat Lahr
All Living Things quotes by Kat Lahr
So you know that all living things share the same energy source and that every action that humans do to nature will affect everything on this planet. ~ Alison Cooklin
All Living Things quotes by Alison Cooklin
Alone of all the creatures in the world, trolls believe that all living things go through Time backwards. 'If the past is visible and the future is hidden,' they say, 'then it means you must be facing the wrong way. Everything alive is going through life back to front. ~ Terry Pratchett
All Living Things quotes by Terry Pratchett
Humanity shares a common ancestry with all living things on Earth. We often share especially close intimacies with the microbial world. In fact, only a small percentage of the cells in the human body are human at all. Yet, the common biology and biochemistry that unites us also makes us susceptible to contracting and transmitting infectious disease. ~ Brenda Wilmoth Lerner
All Living Things quotes by Brenda Wilmoth Lerner
Love is a wave flowing in the direction of bliss for all living things. It will carry you if you allow it to flow through you. ~ Marianne Williamson
All Living Things quotes by Marianne Williamson
The barrenness of sand, as it is usually pictured, was not caused by simple dryness, but apparently was due to the ceaseless movement that made it inhospitable to all living things. What a difference compared with the dreary way human beings clung together year in year out. ~ Kobo Abe
All Living Things quotes by Kobo Abe
We can bring heaven on the earth when we have compassion for all living beings. ~ Amit Ray
All Living Things quotes by Amit Ray
I believe in the unity of all living things. God is in us and in all that exists."

"So, when you eat a carrot, aren't you eating God? ~ Jerry B. Jenkins
All Living Things quotes by Jerry B. Jenkins
All living things have the ability to flourish when they are tended with gentle hands. ~ Erin Forbes
All Living Things quotes by Erin Forbes
My loving children, my children who were created with God's beauty, my wise children, whatever difficulty you may have, do not ever leave His charge. Just as the prophets of God kept their faith firm and were tolerant in spite of the problems they had, no matter what difficulties you may experience, be tolerant, be forbearant and embrace all living things as your own life. ~ Muhammad Raheem Bawa Muhaiyaddeen
All Living Things quotes by Muhammad Raheem Bawa Muhaiyaddeen
Who will find peace with the lands? The future of humankind lies waiting for those who will come to understand their lives and take up their responsibilities to all living things. Who will listen to the trees, the animals and birds, the voices of the places of the land? As the long forgotten peoples of the respective continents rise and begin to reclaim their ancient heritage, they will discover the meaning of the lands of their ancestors. That is when the invaders of the North American continent will finally discover that for this land, God is red. ~ Vine Deloria Jr.
All Living Things quotes by Vine Deloria Jr.
As the needs of all living things must, we have proved that it is a very safe thing to trust in the Lord our God. ~ Amy Carmichael
All Living Things quotes by Amy Carmichael
As for the significance of my nihilism…in a word, it is the foundation of my thoughts. The goal of my activities is the destruction of all living things. I feel boundless anger against parental authority, which crushed me under the high-sounding name of parental love, and against state and social authority, which abused me in the name of universal love.
Having observed the social reality that all living things on earth are incessantly engaged in a struggle for survival, that they kill each other to survive, I concluded that if there is an absolute, universal low on earth, it is the reality that the strong eat the weak. This, I believe, is the law and truth of the universe. Now that I have seen the truth about the struggle for survival and the fact that the strong win and the weak lose, I cannot join the ranks of the idealists and adopt an optimistic mode of thinking which dreams of the construction of a society that is without authority and control. As long as all living things do not disappear from the earth, the power relations based on this principle [of the strong crushing the weak] will persist. Because the wielders of power continue to defend their authority in the usual manner and oppress the weak - and because my past existence has been a story of oppression by all sources of authority - I decided to deny the rights of all authority, rebel against them, and stake not only my own life but that of all humanity in this endeavor.
For this reason I planned even ~ Mikiso Hane
All Living Things quotes by Mikiso Hane
It needs some very great disaster, such as prolonged subjugation by a foreign enemy, to destroy a national culture. The Stock Exchange will be pulled down, the horse plough will give way to the tractor, the country houses will be forgotten, but England will still be England, an everlasting animal stretching into the future and the past and like all living things, having the power to change out of recognition and yet remain the same. ~ George Orwell
All Living Things quotes by George Orwell
I hope for all of us that the future brings us towards evolving our consciousness. To delving deeper into our true power. To exploring more the key to sustaining our planet and our art for the better of all living things. ~ Rain Phoenix
All Living Things quotes by Rain Phoenix
I discovered another analogy in the legacy of Prophet Muhammad that immediately clicked with me: that the angels put down their wings in humility for a person who seeks knowledge, and that all living things, even the ants in their anthill and the fish in the sea, pray for a person who teaches people good things.
When I read this, I literally felt the goodness flow out of my heart for all creatures. The beautiful mental image it evoked resonated with my concept of the universe as one unit, and of all living things seeking to live together in peace and harmony, and being grateful when humans tried to fit into the circle of life, instead of working so hard to disrupt its equilibrium ~ Sahar El-Nadi
All Living Things quotes by Sahar El-Nadi
I realized that Eastern thought had somewhat more compassion for all living things. Man was a form of life that in another reincarnation might possibly be a horsefly or a bird of paradise or a deer. So a man of such a faith, looking at animals, might be looking at old friends or ancestors. In the East the wilderness has no evil connotation; it is thought of as an expression of the unity and harmony of the universe. ~ William O. Douglas
All Living Things quotes by William O. Douglas
Did you think that rats do not have hearts? Wrong. All living things have a heart. And the heart of any living thing can be broken. ~ Kate DiCamillo
All Living Things quotes by Kate DiCamillo
"Humanism" is to be human, to think, to analyze, and to probe. To respond and to be stimulated by all living things - beasts, fowl, and fishes. To respond through touch, sight, smell, and sound to all things in nature - both organic and inorganic-to colors, shapes, and textures - to not only look at a blade of grass but to really see a blade of grass. These things, to me, are what life and living are all about. I would call it "Humanism." ~ Jacob Lawrence
All Living Things quotes by Jacob Lawrence
Trees and children are, of all living things, those whose growth soonest makes one feel one's age ... ~ Mary Russell Mitford
All Living Things quotes by Mary Russell Mitford
Respect the man of noble races other than your own, who carries out, in a different place, a combat parallel to yours
to ours. He is your ally. He is our ally, be he at the other end of the world.
Love all living things whose humble task is not opposed in any way to yours, to ours: men with simple hearts, honest, without vanity and malice, and all the animals, because they are beautiful, without exception and without exception indifferent to whatever "idea" there may be. Love them, and you will see the eternal in the glance of their eyes of jet, amber, or emerald. Love also the trees, the plants, the water that runs though the meadow and on to the sea without knowing where it goes; love the mountain, the desert, the forest, the immense sky, full of light or full of clouds; because all these exceed man and reveal the eternal to you. ~ Savitri Devi
All Living Things quotes by Savitri Devi
The more love that fell your way, the more sorrow will befall you; if you had abstained from love, you would now be relieved of sorrow; the greater the love you enjoy, the greater the sorrow of life without love. Wife, child, wealth and all earthly goods must bring some measure of joy at first, and a greater of sorrow at last; all earthly love must turn to sorrow; sorrow is love's end, the end of joy is grief, sadness must follow pleasure, the enjoyment of one's will must end in disaffection – to such an end all living things must run. Learn a little more, if you wish to cackle with wisdom! ~ Johannes Von Saaz
All Living Things quotes by Johannes Von Saaz
A tree is a wonderful living organism which gives shelter, food, warmth and protection to all living things. It even gives shade to those who wield an axe to cut it down ~ Gautama Buddha
All Living Things quotes by Gautama Buddha
When I contemplate the accumulation of guilt and remorse which, like a garbage-can, I carry through life, and which is fed not only by the lightest action but by the most harmless pleasure, I feel Man to be of all living things the most biologically incompetent and ill-organized. Why has he acquired a seventy years life-span only to poison it incurably by the mere being of himself? Why has he thrown Conscience, like a dead rat, to putrefy in the well? ~ Cyril Connolly
All Living Things quotes by Cyril Connolly
That is our hope. Because if we all start listening and helping, then surely, together, we can make the world a better place for all living things. Can't we? ~ Jane Goodall
All Living Things quotes by Jane Goodall
At our most elemental, we are not a chemical reaction, but an energetic charge. Human beings and all living things are a coalescence of energy in a field of energy connected to every other thing in the world. This pulsating energy field is the central engine of our being and our consciousness, the alpha and the omega of our existence. ~ Lynne McTaggart
All Living Things quotes by Lynne McTaggart
The future of mankind lies waiting for those who will come to understand their lives and take up their responsibilities to all living things. ~ Vine Deloria Jr.
All Living Things quotes by Vine Deloria Jr.
All living things must grow or they will die. Adaptation to change is a characteristic of all living systems. Thus, all living things must grow, adapt, evolve, or die. Evolution is nature's creative way of pushing living organisms to higher degrees of complexity. We adapt up, not compromise down. ~ Alvin Conway
All Living Things quotes by Alvin Conway
I am one with the Earth, with the Water, with the Fire, with the Air that I breathe, with all Living Things, and we are all one with Spirit. ~ Jonathan Lockwood Huie
All Living Things quotes by Jonathan Lockwood Huie
So I talk about original cultures that saw the presence of god in all living things- including women. Only in the last five hundred to five thousand years- depending on where we live in the world- has godliness been withdrawn from particular races of men, all in order to allow the conquering of nature, females, and certain races of men. Though patriarchal cultures and religions have made hierarchy seem inevitable, humans for 95 percent of history have been more likely to see the circle as our natural paradigm. ~ Gloria Steinem
All Living Things quotes by Gloria Steinem
Obedient to no man, dependent only on weather and season, without a goal before them or a roof above them, owning nothing, open to every whim of fate, the homeless wanderers lead their childlike, brave, shabby existence. They are the sons of Adam, who was driven out of Paradise; the brothers of the animals, of innocence. Out of heaven's hand they accept what is given them from moment to moment: sun, rain, fog, snow, warmth, cold, comfort, and hardship; time does not exist for them and neither does history, or ambition, or that bizarre idol called progress and evolution, in which houseowners believe so desperately. A wayfarer may be delicate or crude, artful or awkward, brave or cowardly - he is always a child at heart, living in the first day of creation, before the beginning of the history of the world, his life always guided by a few simple instincts and needs. He may be intelligent or stupid; he may be deeply aware of the fleeting fragility of all living things, of how pettily and fearfully each living creature carries its bit of warm blood through the glaciers of cosmic space, or he may merely follow the commands of his poor stomach with childlike greed - he is always the opponent, the deadly enemy of the established proprietor, who hates him, despises him, or fears him, because he does not wish to be reminded that all existence is transitory, that life is constantly wilting, that merciless icy death fills the cosmos all around. ~ Hermann Hesse
All Living Things quotes by Hermann Hesse
When we recognise that unity of all living things, then at once arises the question - how can we support this life of ours with least injury to the lives around us; how can we prevent our own life adding to the suffering of the world in which we live? ~ Annie Besant
All Living Things quotes by Annie Besant
Woman's fear of the female Self, of the experience of the numinous archetypal Feminine, becomes comprehensible when we get a glimpse - or even only a hint – of the profound otherness of female selfhood as contrasted to male selfhood. Precisely that element which, in his fear of the Feminine, the male experiences as the hole, abyss, void, and nothingness turns into something positive for the woman without, however, losing these same characteristics. Here the archetypal Feminine is experienced not as illusion and as maya but rather as unfathomable reality and as life in which above and below, spiritual and physical, are not pitted against each other; reality as eternity is creative and, at the same time, is grounded in primeval nothingness. Hence as daughter the woman experiences herself as belonging to the female spiritual figure Sophia, the highest wisdom, while at the same time she is actualizing her connection with the musty, sultry, bloody depths of swamp-mother Earth. However, in this sort of Self-discovery woman necessarily comes to see herself as different from what presents itself to men -as, for example, spirit and father, but often also as the patriarchal godhead and his ethics. The basic phenomenon - that the human being is born of woman and reared by her during the crucial developmental phases - is expressed in woman as a sense of connectedness with all living things, a sense not yet sufficiently realized, and one that men, and especially the patriarchal male, abso ~ Erich Neumann
All Living Things quotes by Erich Neumann
Kindness and compassion toward all living things is the mark of a civilized society. ~ Cesar Chavez
All Living Things quotes by Cesar Chavez
The good man is the friend of all living things. ~ Mahatma Gandhi
All Living Things quotes by Mahatma Gandhi
Pain is a curse people can not bear but god who made the heavens and earth made it so so exept it. God made all living things he made us in his image Athiests were captured by the devil and were told lies so this is why we pray for them and hope they come to under stand we were not made by monkeys or a big bang. ~ Gerald Olson
All Living Things quotes by Gerald Olson
I have been a lucky man. To feel the intimacy of brothers is a marvelous thing in life. To feel the love of people whom we love is a fire that feeds our life. But to feel the affection that comes from those whom we do not know, from those unknown to us, who are watching over our sleep and solitude, over our dangers and our weaknesses - that is something still greater and more beautiful because it widens out the boundaries of our being, and unites all living things. ~ Anonymous
All Living Things quotes by Anonymous
Ethics that focus on human interactions, morals that focus on humanity's relationship to a Creator, fall short of these things we've learned. They fail to encompass the big take-home message, so far, of a century and a half of biology and ecology: life is- more than anything else- a process; it creates, and depends on, relationships among energy, land, water, air, time and various living things. It's not just about human-to-human interaction; it's not just about spiritual interaction. It's about all interaction. We're bound with the rest of life in a network, a network including not just all living things but the energy and nonliving matter that flows through the living, making and keeping all of us alive as we make it alive. We can keep debating ideologies and sending entreaties toward heaven. But unless we embrace the fuller reality we're in- and reality's implications- we'll face big problems. ~ Carl Safina
All Living Things quotes by Carl Safina
All living things have an obligation to live as best they can, no matter what pain comes to them. ~ Mette Ivie Harrison
All Living Things quotes by Mette Ivie Harrison
It is part of the fundamental impulse in all living things to reach for light, part of the indomitable will to see. ~ Henry Grunwald
All Living Things quotes by Henry Grunwald
In the beginning was the Mother.
On the first day, She gave birth to light and darkness.
They danced together.
On the second day, She gave birth to land and water. They touched.
On the third day, She gave birth to green growing things.
They rooted and took a deep breath.
On the fourth day, She gave birth to land, sea, and air creatures.
They walked and flew and swam.
On the fifth day, Her creation learned balance and cooperation.
She thanked her partner for coaching her labor.
On the sixth day, She celebrated the creativity of all living things.
On the seventh day, She left space for the unknown. ~ Patricia Lynn Reilly
All Living Things quotes by Patricia Lynn Reilly
An appreciation of animals is good for a human, it can lead to a better understanding and respect for all living things. ~ Henry Rollins
All Living Things quotes by Henry Rollins
All living things contain a measure of madness that moves them in strange, sometimes inexplicable ways. This madness can be saving; it is part and parcel of the ability to adapt. Without it, no species would survive. ~ Yann Martel
All Living Things quotes by Yann Martel
Energy in expression is silent. The knowing of what no words can say. A chasm of gravity could ever hold,; Weightless, it is part of all living things ~ S.L. Northey
All Living Things quotes by S.L. Northey
It was a beautiful thought that all living things were imperfect copies of the eternal forms in the world of ideas. ~ Jostein Gaarder
All Living Things quotes by Jostein Gaarder
The gift and the presence of the Holy Spirit is the greatest and most wonderful thing which we can experience - we ourselves, the human community, all living things and this earth. For with the Holy Spirit it is not just one random spirit that is present, among all the many good and evil spirits that there are. It is God himself, the creative and life-giving, redeeming and saving God. Where the Holy Spirit is present, God is present in a special way, and we experience God through our lives, which become wholly living from within. We experience whole, full, healed and redeemed life, experience it with all our senses. We feel and taste, we touch and see our life in God and God in our life. ~ Jurgen Moltmann
All Living Things quotes by Jurgen Moltmann
Let your love flow out on all living things. ~ William Styron
All Living Things quotes by William Styron
While all living things affect the evolution of other living things simply by virtue of trying to stay alive, humans interact with the biological evolution of other species in a much more complex and powerful fashion because of one ability: language. Nothing occurs on the human scale without language. No language means no agriculture, no animal farming, no science. ~ Christine Kenneally
All Living Things quotes by Christine Kenneally
All living things aren't alive.
All dead things are not dead. ~ Debasish Mridha
All Living Things quotes by Debasish Mridha
[C]hildren. . . like all living things, grow best in the loosened soil of relaxed oversight. ~ Philip Gulley
All Living Things quotes by Philip Gulley
Respect all living things, and never take what you cannot give back, or destroy what you cannot create. ~ Bryant McGill
All Living Things quotes by Bryant McGill
What is needed today is a fundamental re-experience of the oneness of all living things, a comprehensive reality consciousness that ever more infrequently develops spontaneously, the more the primordial flora and fauna of our mother earth must yield to a dead technological environment. ~ Albert Hoffman
All Living Things quotes by Albert Hoffman
This is not a psychotic episode. This is a cleansing moment of clarity. I'm imbued, Max. I'm imbued with some special spirit. It's not a religious feeling at all. It's a shocking eruption of great electrical energy. I feel vivid and flashing, as if suddenly I'd been plugged into some great electromagnetic field. I feel connected to all living things. To flowers, birds, all the animals of the world. And even to some great, unseen, living force. What I think the Hindus call prana. But it's not a breakdown. I've never felt more orderly in my life. It is a shattering and beautiful sensation. It is the exalted flow of the space-time continuum, save that it is spaceless and timeless and... of such loveliness. I feel on the verge of some great, ultimate truth. ~ Howard Beale
All Living Things quotes by Howard Beale
All living things need an atmosphere around them, a secret circle of darkness. If this veil is taken from them, if people condemn a religion, an art, a genius to orbit like a star without an atmosphere, then we should no longer wonder about their rapid decay and the way they become hard and barren. That is the way it is now with all great things which never succeed without some delusion.

But every people, indeed every person, who wishes to become mature needs such an enveloping delusion, such a protecting and veiling cloud. But today people generally despise becoming mature, because they honour history more than living. Indeed, people exult over the fact that now 'science is beginning to rule over living'. It is possible that people will attain that goal but it is certain that a life so governed is not worth much, because it is much less living and it establishes a life for the future far less than does the previous life governed not by knowledge but by instinct and powerful illusory images. But, as stated, it is clearly not to be the era of fully developed and mature people, of harmonious personalities, but the era of common work which is as useful as possible. That, however, amounts only to the fact that people are to be trained for the purposes of the time, in order to get to work with their hands as promptly as possible. They are to labour in the factories of the universal utilities before they are mature, that is, so that they really no longer become mature, ~ Friedrich Nietzsche
All Living Things quotes by Friedrich Nietzsche
As you listen to the murmur of the rain, remember that it is the touch of God. And that just as it unites heaven and earth and nourishes all living things, it can also reunite your worldly spirit with your heart, nourishing the love that you thought you'd lost. ~ Wayne Lincourt
All Living Things quotes by Wayne Lincourt
I saw a moving sight the other morning before breakfast in a little hotel where I slept in the dusty fields. The young man of the house shot a little wolf called coyote in the early morning. The little heroic animal lay on the ground, with his big furry ears, and his clean white teeth, and his little cheerful body, but his little brave life was gone. It made me think how brave all living things are. Here little coyote was, without any clothes or house or books or anything, with nothing to pay his way with, and risking his life so cheerfully - and losing it - just to see if he could pick up a meal near the hotel. He was doing his coyote-business like a hero, and you must do your boy-business, and I my man-business bravely, too, or else we won't be worth as much as a little coyote. ~ William James
All Living Things quotes by William James
It is easy to overlook this thought that life just is. As humans we are inclined to feel that life must have a point. We have plans and aspirations and desires. We want to take constant advantage of the intoxicating existence we've been endowed with. But what's life to a lichen? Yet its impulse to exist, to be , is every bit as strong as ours-arguably even stronger. If I were told that I had to spend decades being a furry growth on a rock in the woods, I believe I would lose the will to go on. Lichens don't. Like virtually all living things, they will suffer any hardship, endure any insult, for a moment's additions existence. Life, in short just wants to be. ~ Bill Bryson
All Living Things quotes by Bill Bryson
Death
some form of termination
is the universal ending of all living things; but only man, by virtue of his verbally reportable introspective life, can conceptualize his own cessation. ~ Edwin S. Shneidman
All Living Things quotes by Edwin S. Shneidman
I saw that all living things were doomed, to bliss: that's not living; it's just a way to waste what we have, a drain. ~ Arthur Rimbaud
All Living Things quotes by Arthur Rimbaud
The universe is a multi-dimension al creative process, constantly forming new facets of possibility for you and all living things. Expanding our awareness of the process, we allow ourselves to experience more of it. Every moment we can remember that ANYTHING is possible in a realm of endless possibility. ~ Marianne Williamson
All Living Things quotes by Marianne Williamson
Quantum physics findings show that consciousness itself created order - or indeed in some way created the world - this suggested much more capacity in the human being than was currently understood. It also suggested some revolutionary notions about humans in relation to their world and the relation between all living things. What they were asking was how far our bodies extended. Did they end with what we always thought of as our own isolated persona, or 'extend out' so that the demarcation between us and our world was less clear-cut? Did living consciousness possess some quantum field like properties, enabling it to extend its influence out into the world? If so, was it possible to do more than simply observe? How strong was our influence? It was only a small step in logic to conclude that in our act of participation as an observer in the quantum world, we might also be an influencer, a creator. Did we not only stop the butterfly at a certain point in its flight, but also influence the path it will take - nudging it in a particular direction?
This explains action at a distance, what scientists call non locality. The theory that two subatomic particles once in close proximity seemingly communicate over any distance after they are separated. ~ Lynne McTaggart
All Living Things quotes by Lynne McTaggart
Man is the weakest and most defenseless of all living things, and it is unsportsmanlike to touch him. ~ Rudyard Kipling
All Living Things quotes by Rudyard Kipling
It is not certain that some wicked one of your race will not find out a secret as evil as the Deplorable Word and use it to destroy all living things. And soon, very soon, before you are an old man and an old woman, great nations in your world will be ruled by tyrants who care no more for joy and justice and mercy than the Empress Jadis. Let your world beware. That is the warning. ~ C.S. Lewis
All Living Things quotes by C.S. Lewis
Honor all living things, for we are of the stag, and the salmon, and the bee; so destroy not life, save it be to preserve your own. ~ Scott Cunningham
All Living Things quotes by Scott Cunningham
All living things are manipulated as long as there is a will, it is bent and twisted constantly. Only the dead are allowed the luxury of freedom, and then only because they want nothing, and therefore can't be thwarted. ~ Orson Scott Card
All Living Things quotes by Orson Scott Card
All of us feel special inside to where we feel as if we are the best, unique, or blessed. of course this is true, our error in this thought process is we forget that all the other people and all living things are just as special as we feel about ourselve. ~ Jamie Foxx
All Living Things quotes by Jamie Foxx
Let's say that it belong to me as much as it belongs to anyone alive today. If I am, strictly speaking, living. The old word was undead, you know, but aren't all living things undead. I dislike imprecision. ~ Rachel Caine
All Living Things quotes by Rachel Caine
The business of an animal is not only to reproduce (which is common to all living things), but they all of them also participate in a kind of knowledge (some more, some less, some very little indeed), because they have sense-perception, which is a kind of knowledge. But the worth we assign it hinges on whether we look at it compared with intelligence or with the class of lifeless things. Compared with intelligence it seems like almost nothing to have a share of touch and taste alone, but compared with the absence of all sensation it appears a great thing. For even this form of knowledge would appear a precious thing compared with lying in a state of death or of nonexistence. - Aristotle, Generation of Animals ~ Michael Augros
All Living Things quotes by Michael Augros
Coffee - a barbaric drink. That poor, tortured bean. All that fermenting and husking and roasting and grinding. And what is tea? Tea is dried leaves rehydrated. Just add water, Mrs. Strickland. All living things need water. ~ Guillermo Del Toro
