...real deep romantic love, the kind that twists you and wrings you out and makes you breathe through the nostrils of your beloved. ~ Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
Real Deep quotes by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
Haunted by the longing to feel something real, deep and magical; I searched for shared ecstasy... that's when you came along. ~ Lebo Grand
Real Deep quotes by Lebo Grand
Houses are the abiding joys; they are the most emotion-stirring of all things. An automobile is regarded with fond affection, a typewriter becomes the inseparable companion, clothes can stir sentimentality, and the bit of bric-a-brac is a toy one would weep to see torn away - but houses are real, deep, emotional things. How much excitement in the cutting of a window, what enormous importance in the angle of a roof! ~ Rose Wilder Lane
Real Deep quotes by Rose Wilder Lane
I'm not just a politician, I'm a guy who has a real deep, substantive, commitment to education. ~ Roy Romer
Real Deep quotes by Roy Romer
People power must be combined with good governance to bring about real, deep and lasting change. This combination can achieve almost everything from eliminating corruption to ending malnutrition and illiteracy. ~ Narendra Modi
Real Deep quotes by Narendra Modi
He had the kind of real deep tan that rich people spent ages trying to achieve with expensive holidays and bits of tinfoil, when really all you need to do to obtain one is work your arse off in the open air everyday. ~ Terry Pratchett
Real Deep quotes by Terry Pratchett
People don't know about the human part of me that really cares about the world. For instance, I don't know what I feel about wearing my furs anymore. I worked so hard to have a fur coat, and I don't want to wear it anymore because I'm so wrapped up in the animals. I have real deep thoughts about it because I care about the world and nature. ~ Diana Ross
Real Deep quotes by Diana Ross
I want something else. I'm not even sure what to call it anymore except I know it feels roomy and it's drenched in sunlight and it's weightless and I know it's not cheap. It's probably not even real. ~ Mark Z. Danielewski
Real Deep quotes by Mark Z. Danielewski
So have you found God?"

I thought Kabe was going to swallow his straw.

""So have you found God?"

I thought Kabe was going to swallow his straw.

I had no idea what was about to come out of his mouth.

"Joe's been talking to me about religion. Out alone, having some real deep, personal conversations. I think Joe has figured out how to get right inside me and know what I need. ~ James Buchanan
Real Deep quotes by James Buchanan
Houses are real, deep, emotional things. ~ Caroline Fraser
Real Deep quotes by Caroline Fraser
What you do is what the whole universe is doing at the place you call the here and now. You are something the whole universe is doing in the same way that the wave is something that the whole ocean is doing. The real you is not a puppet which life pushes around. The real deep-down you is the whole universe. ~ Alan Watts
Real Deep quotes by Alan Watts
Sometimes I have trouble falling asleep but it's not so bad
I don't worry and I don't weep. In fact I'm glad.
Because I get up off my pillow and I flip on the light.
I get down and get hip in the still of the night I stretch and I yawn and then I breathe real deep And dance myself to sleep.
I hoof around my beddie just a-tappin' my toes
Before I know what's happened I'm a-ready to doze
Got some partners I can count the boogie-woogie sheep
I dance myself to sleep. ~ Jim Henson
Real Deep quotes by Jim Henson
The real deep text of music and the whole reason that it has continued with the profundity and urgency that it has for over a thousand years, has to do with what the notes say, what the notes witness, different experiences of hope or doubt that people are able to distill and encode and pass on in this way. ~ Michael Tilson Thomas
Real Deep quotes by Michael Tilson Thomas
I was very lucky. Things happened, both bad and good, but I never got into real, deep trouble. But it wore me down. By the time I was 18, I was done. I didn't want to live the life any more. I needed to develop past the point that busking takes you to. ~ Madeleine Peyroux
Real Deep quotes by Madeleine Peyroux
She's conquered and proved her loyalty runs deep." He flinched. "Real deep if I'm guessing at how far Mason goes in her - ~ Tijan
Real Deep quotes by Tijan
Wiping his mouth and tossing the napkin on the table, Wake leaned on his elbow and studied Kabe, long and hard.

Long and hard enough that Kabe started to stare back.

Finally, Wake blurted out, "So have you found God?" I thought Kabe was going to swallow his straw.

Kabe licked his lips. "Joe's been talking to me about religion." I had no idea what was about to come out of his mouth. "Out alone, having some real deep, personal conversations. I think Joe has figured out how to get right inside me and know what I need."

"We all need to hear it."

"Touched me real far inside," My chest tightened up. I twisted my ankle and dropped my boot heel onto the arch of his foot. He yanked it back and leaned over the table a little.

"All burning with it."

My chair scraped the floor as I stood. "Know what, we need to be heading out. ~ James Buchanan
Real Deep quotes by James Buchanan
Because no one can make another person happy," said George. "He was happy when he was with me, but otherwise he wasn't. That's not enough. I mean, in a relationship, you have your ups and downs, sure, and you help each other through, but if a person is genuinely unhappy, it won't work. No amount of love or laughter from the other person can fix that. Each person has to love and laugh on their own. They need to feel it for real, deep down, in here. ~ Anonymous
Real Deep quotes by Anonymous
It was not the mask I was afraid of ... but of what lay behind the mask. The eternal source of all fear, all horror, all real evil, man himself ~ John Fowles
Real Deep quotes by John Fowles
God had said to listen to what five people tell you and don't hold on to your own opinion. The person who holds on to his opinion is isolated. If you insist upon it, it will harm you as well as others. This true-false is a relative truth; it is a mundane [worldly] truth. One should not insist upon it. ~ Dada Bhagwan
Real Deep quotes by Dada Bhagwan
Beneath their surface differences, there are a lot of deep, underlying differences. ~ Dave Barry
Real Deep quotes by Dave Barry
Fashion models and financial models are similar. They bear a similar relationship to everyday world. Like supermodels, financial models are idealized representations of the real world, they are not real, they don't quite work the way that the real world works. There is celebrity in both worlds. In the end, there is the same inevitable disappointment - Satyajit Das, Traders, Guns & Money ~ Satyajit Das
Real Deep quotes by Satyajit Das
Hidden, there,
behind the face
of a beautiful boy,
I see you.
The real you. ~ Lisa Schroeder
Real Deep quotes by Lisa Schroeder
Maybe that was just the way love went - it was something that happened to you, and the best preparation you could hope for was the chance to take a deep breath before the wave of it crashed above you and you were in over your head. ~ Katharine McGee
Real Deep quotes by Katharine McGee
Soulmates feel like a deep breath of forever ~ Ventum
Real Deep quotes by Ventum
No matter who we are, where we live, what we look like, the circumstances of our birth or the situations we face; each of us has gifts within us. Strength, beauty, courage, compassion, hope, joy, talent, imagination, reverence, wisdom, love and faith are among them. They are not like material presents we unwrap and hold in our hands. We can't see these gifts with our eyes. But they are real and powerful. When we open ourselves to them, they can enrich every aspect of our lives. They can help us transform challenges into opportunities and tragedies into triumphs. They can help us make a difference in the world. ~ Charlene Costanzo
Real Deep quotes by Charlene Costanzo
If I were to say that the so-called philosophy of this fellow Hegel is a colossal piece of mystification which will yet provide posterity with an inexhaustible theme for laughter at our times, that it is a pseudo-philosophy paralyzing all mental powers, stifling all real thinking, and, by the most outrageous misuse of language, putting in its place the hollowest, most senseless, thoughtless, and, as is confirmed by its success, most stupefying verbiage, I should be quite right. ~ Arthur Schopenhauer
Real Deep quotes by Arthur Schopenhauer
When I felt rather overcome with my father's opposition, I said as firmly as I could, that I must have this or something else, that I could not live without some real work. ~ Elizabeth Garrett Anderson
Real Deep quotes by Elizabeth Garrett Anderson
Falling in love for the first time is a completely transcendent experience. It's like eating pizza-flavored ice cream. Your brain can't even process that level of joy. Love makes people do crazy things like kill other people or shop at Crate & Barrel. I think on some level it makes us all delusional. Deep down, our whole lives, no matter how low our self-esteem gets, we think, I have a special skill that no one knows about and if they knew they'd be amazed. And then eventually we meet someone who says, "You have a secret special skill." And you're like, "I know! So do you!" And they're like, "I know!" And then you're like, "We should eat pizza ice cream together." And that's what love is. It's this giant mound of pizza-flavored ice cream and delusion ~ Mike Birbiglia
Real Deep quotes by Mike Birbiglia
You think that just because you're in a politician's house, you're seeing the real person? Pretty naive, Ben. ~ Allen Zadoff
Real Deep quotes by Allen Zadoff
In some way there is no real life. It's always the story of your life that you're living. ~ Aleksandar Hemon
Real Deep quotes by Aleksandar Hemon
I plot the first 5 or 6 chapters quite minutely, and also the end. So I know where I am going but not how I'm going to get there, which gives characters the chance to develop organically, as happens in real life as you get to know a person. ~ Joanna Trollope
Real Deep quotes by Joanna Trollope
What might seem a careless phrase for one can cut deep as a blade for another. ~ Cora Carmack
Real Deep quotes by Cora Carmack
To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. ~ Carl Jung
Real Deep quotes by Carl Jung
Cruise passengers can be blinded to the very real perils of the sea by ship operators unwilling to interrupt the party for security warnings. And after an incident occurs, a thorough investigation can be profoundly difficult when the crime scene literally floats away, on schedule, to its next port of call. ~ Chris Shays
Real Deep quotes by Chris Shays
Sometimes it is hard to sing and dance at the same time, but I would rather be off and be real and genuine about it to my fans. ~ Kesha
Real Deep quotes by Kesha
Though he may have been more tolerant than most of his brethren, being addressed without deference by a woman of no particular lineage was more than the priest could bear. A tic sprang to life in his right eye. Glaring, he turned away from me and addressed himself pointedly to Casare.
"Signore, we are about to perform the final sacraments for our late Holy Father! Surely you can understand that your presence here and that of your-" He paused, no doubt condsiering what he would like to call me. Some sense of self-preservation must have won out as he said only, "-companion is not appropriate?"
Cesare had many skills- I have alluded to several of them - but he was utterly lacking in even the rudiments of tact. Indeed, his notion of diplomacy revolved around the conviction that the best route to peace lies in the grinding of one's enemies into the ground so thoroughly that the very fact of their ever having existed will be forgotten upon the wind.
But he was in Saint Peter's Basilica, next to Jerusalem the holiest place in all Christendom. And if he caused any real problems, he would have no end of trouble from his father.
Accordingly, Cesare gritted his teeth and said, "Don't fuck with me, priest. Just show us how to get into the garret. ~ Sara Poole
Real Deep quotes by Sara Poole
Anyone and everyone taking a writing class knows that the secret of good writing is to cut it back, pare it down, winnow, chop, hack, prune, and trim, remove every superfluous word, compress, compress, compress...

Actually, when you think about it, not many novels in the Spare tradition are terribly cheerful. Jokes you can usually pluck out whole, by the roots, so if you're doing some heavy-duty prose-weeding, they're the first to go. And there's some stuff about the whole winnowing process I just don't get. Why does it always stop when the work in question has been reduced to sixty or seventy thousand words--entirely coincidentally, I'm sure, the minimum length for a publishable novel? I'm sure you could get it down to twenty or thirty if you tried hard enough. In fact, why stop at twenty or thirty? Why write at all? Why not just jot the plot and a couple of themes down on the back of an envelope and leave it at that? The truth is, there's nothing very utilitarian about fiction or its creation, and I suspect that people are desperate to make it sound manly, back-breaking labor because it's such a wussy thing to do in the first place. The obsession with austerity is an attempt to compensate, to make writing resemble a real job, like farming, or logging. (It's also why people who work in advertising put in twenty-hour days.) Go on, young writers--treat yourself to a joke, or an adverb! Spoil yourself! Readers won't mind! ~ Nick Hornby
Real Deep quotes by Nick Hornby
Boonie wondered with sadness, Why don't I have any real memories like that of this elder statesman who happens to live in our house from time to time? This handsome, formal man whose blood runs mysteriously in my own veins? He was always more like a king than a father. ~ Suzanne Stroh
Real Deep quotes by Suzanne Stroh
I began to notice that when I was tired or anxious, there were certain sentences I would say in my head that lead me to a very familiar place. The journey to this place would often start with me walking around disturbed, feeling as if there was something deep inside that I needed to put into words but couldn't quite capture. I felt the "something" as an anxiety, a loneliness, and a need for connection with someone. If no connection came, I would start to say things like, "Life really stinks. Why is it always so hard? It's never going to change." If no one noticed that I was struggling and asked me what was wrong, I found my sentences shifting again to a more cynical level, "Who cares? Life really is a joke." Surprisingly, I noticed by the time I was saying these last sentences, I was feeling better. The anxiety had greatly diminished.
My "comforter", my abiding place, was cynicism and rebellion. From this abiding place, I would feel free to use some soul - cocaine - a violence video with maybe a little sexual titillation thrown in, perhaps having a little more alcohol with a meal than I might normally drink - things that would allow me to feel better for just a little while. I had always thought of these things as just bad habits. I began to see that they were much more; they were spiritual abiding places that were my comforters and friends in a very spiritual way; literally, other lovers. ~ John Eldredge
Real Deep quotes by John Eldredge
We pride ourselves on being the only species that understands the concept of risk, yet we have a confounding habit of worrying about mere possibilities while ignoring probabilities, building barricades against perceived dangers while leaving ourselves exposed to real ones. ~ Jeffrey Kluger
Real Deep quotes by Jeffrey Kluger
You are off on a winding and difficult road, which you conceive to be wide and straight, an Autobahn you can travel at your ease. Is it any use for me to tell you that all you believe real is illusion? I don't know whether you'll listen, or ignore it. You only want to know about your path, your Autobahn. ~ Thomas Pynchon
Real Deep quotes by Thomas Pynchon
A plan is a real thing, and things projected are experienced. A plan once made and visualized becomes reality along with other realities - never to be destroyed but easily to be attacked. ~ John Steinbeck
Real Deep quotes by John Steinbeck
I think the reality is Michael Jackson's humanity is so deep, the implications and inferences of his art so monumentally and magnificently global, that nothing American television could do to besmirch his character could ever, if you will, deny the legitimate genius that he represents and America has responded, as indeed has the globe. ~ Michael Eric Dyson
Real Deep quotes by Michael Eric Dyson
You know what is beautiful? A real conversation with a real person. ~ Jonathan Harnisch
Real Deep quotes by Jonathan Harnisch
All real art is, in its true sense, religious; it is a religious impulse; there is no such thing as a non-religious subject. But much bad or downright sacrilegious art depicts so-called religious subjects. ~ Madeleine L'Engle
Real Deep quotes by Madeleine L'Engle
It's definitely a dream come true to be recognized and to be able to sign autographs. But, it's also a lot of hard work and can be draining. If you don't know already, you will quickly learn who your real friends are. ~ Christina Aguilera
Real Deep quotes by Christina Aguilera
It's not a real relationship if you're not spending at least half of it pretending to get along fine for the benefit of other people.' Adam ~ Nick Spalding
Real Deep quotes by Nick Spalding
Of course I wasn't pretending!" The words exploded out of her before she could stop them. Heat spread across her cheeks.
Cas's mouth had been open, ready with a reply, and he snapped it shut.
She cleared her throat. She'd already embarrassed herself horribly, might as well finish it off. "I fully intended to ignore you, but it turns out you're very hard to ignore. I never pretended to feel anything for you, Cas. All of that was real, and definitely never part of the plan. And I should have ... " A lump formed in her throat, and she swallowed, her voice shaking. "I should have warned you about the attack. I should have trusted you. I'm sorry. ~ Amy Tintera
Real Deep quotes by Amy Tintera
Over the long run, however, the real reason you fail to stick with habits is that your self-image gets in the way. This is why you can't get too attached to one version of your identity. Progress requires unlearning. Becoming the best version of yourself requires you to continuously edit your beliefs, and to upgrade and expand your identity. ~ James Clear
Real Deep quotes by James Clear
If the audience sees and feels things are real, then they buy it. ~ Joel Silver
Real Deep quotes by Joel Silver
To sum up: numbers appear to represent both an attribute of matter and the unconscious foundation of our mental process. For this reason, number forms, according to Jung, that particular element that unites the realms of matter and psyche. It is "real" in a double sense, as an archetypal image and as a qualitative manifestation in the realm of outer-world experience. ~ Marie-Louise Von Franz
Real Deep quotes by Marie-Louise Von Franz
Magic was nothing more than desire made real, ~ Deborah Harkness
Real Deep quotes by Deborah Harkness
[The child] takes his play very seriously and he expends large amounts of emotion on it. The opposite of play is not what is serious but what is real. ~ Sigmund Freud
