Who is a bad man and who is a good man? What is the definition? The bad man is one who is inconsiderate of others. The bad man is one who uses others and has no respect for others. The bad man is one who thinks he is the center of the world and everybody is just to be used. Everything exists for him. The bad man is one who thinks that other persons are just means for his gratification.

Keep this definition in mind because you ordinarily think the bad man is the criminal. The bad man may not be the criminal: all bad men are not criminals. All criminals are bad, but all bad men are not criminals. A few of them are judges, a few of them are very respectable people, a few of them are politicians, presidents and prime ministers, a few of them are even parading as saints.

So when we will be talking about this sutra, remember the definition of a bad man - Buddha says a bad man is one who has no consideration for others. He simply thinks about himself only - he thinks he is the center of existence and he feels the whole existence is made for him. He feels authorized to sacrifice everybody for his own self. He may not be bad ordinarily, but if this is the attitude, then he is a bad man.

Who is a good man? Just the opposite of the bad man: one who is considerate of others, who gives as much respect to others as he gives to himself, and who does not pretend in any way that he is the center of the world, and who has come to feel that everybody is the cent ~ Osho
Bad Men quotes by Osho
I'm afraid I'm a practical man,' said the doctor with gruff humour, 'and I don't bother much about religion and philosophy.'
'You'll never be a practical man till you do,' said Father Brown. 'Look here, doctor; you know me pretty well; I think you know I'm not a bigot. You know I know there are all sorts in all religions; good men in bad ones and bad men in good ones. ~ G.K. Chesterton
Bad Men quotes by G.K. Chesterton
The best state is that in which bad men are not allowed to hold office, and good men are not allowed to refuse office. ~ Pittacus Of Mytilene
Bad Men quotes by Pittacus Of Mytilene
Sugar and sand may be mixed together, but the ant rejects the sand and goes off with the sugar grain; so pious men lift the good from the bad. ~ Ramakrishna
Bad Men quotes by Ramakrishna
The greatest penalty of evil-doing is to grow into the likeness of bad men, and, growing like them, to fly from the conversation of the good, and be cut off from them, and cleave to and follow after the company of the bad. ~ Plato
Bad Men quotes by Plato
For neither do the spirits damned
Lose all their virtue, lest bad men should boast
Their specious deeds on earth which glory excites,
Or close ambition varnished o'er with zeal. ~ John Milton
Bad Men quotes by John Milton
It's time to demythologise an era and build a new myth from the gutter to the stars. It's time to embrace bad men and the price they paid to secretly define their time. ~ James Ellroy
Bad Men quotes by James Ellroy
The truth is that there are no good men, or bad men,' he said. 'It is the deeds that have goodness or badness in them. There are good deeds, and bad deeds. Men are just men - it is what they do, or refuse to do, that links them to good and evil. The truth is that an instant of real love, in the heart of anyone - the noblest man alive or the most wicked - has the whole purpose and process and meaning of life within the lotus-folds of its passion. The truth is that we are all, every one of us, every atom, every galaxy, and every particle of matter in the universe, moving toward God. ~ Gregory David Roberts
Bad Men quotes by Gregory David Roberts
States are doomed when they are unable to distinguish good men from bad. ~ Antisthenes
Bad Men quotes by Antisthenes
Bad men cannot make good citizens. A vitiated state of morals, a corrupted public conscience are incompatible with freedom. ~ Patrick Henry
Bad Men quotes by Patrick Henry
To be attached to the subdivision, to love the little platoon we belong to in society, is the first principle (the germ as it were) of public affections. It is the first link in the series by which we proceed toward a love to our country and to mankind. The interest of that portion of social arrangement is a trust in the hands of all those who compose it; and as none but bad men would justify it in abuse, none but traitors would barter it away for their own personal advantage. ~ Edmund Burke
Bad Men quotes by Edmund Burke
Good men study to spiritualize their bodies; bad men to incarnate their souls. ~ Benjamin Whichcote
Bad Men quotes by Benjamin Whichcote
Bad men are never all bad, and good men are never all good, and it makes it hard to know up from down. ~ Rae Carson
Bad Men quotes by Rae Carson
Domestic happiness is the end of almost all our pursuits, and the common reward of all our pains. When men find themselves forever barred from this delightful fruition, they are lost to all industry, and grow careless of all their worldly affairs. Thus they become bad subjects, bad relations, bad friends, and bad men. ~ Henry Fielding
Bad Men quotes by Henry Fielding
The executives who run the fast food industry are not bad men. They are businessmen. They will sell free-range, organic, grass-fed hamburgers if you demand it. They will sell whatever sells at a profit. ~ Eric Schlosser
Bad Men quotes by Eric Schlosser
Poppy Devine did not deserve cancer. Poppy was sweet and industrious and careful and measured and always, always did the right thing. If anyone deserved cancer it was Julia. Julia was loud and opinionated and disagreeable. Rude, some might even say. She went out with bad men, took unnecessary risks, pushed people to their limits, swore like a sailor and flipped the bird more than any female in the history of the world.
It should be her number coming up in the cancer lottery. ~ Amy Andrews
Bad Men quotes by Amy Andrews
Who is righteous? Anyone who is repenting. No matter how bad he has been, if he is repenting he is a righteous man. There is hope for him. And no matter how good he has been all his life, if he is not repenting, he is a wicked man. The difference is which way you are facing. The man on the top of the stairs facing down if much worse off than the man on the bottom step who is facing up. The direction we are facing, that is repentance; and that is what determines whether we are good or bad. ~ Hugh Nibley
Bad Men quotes by Hugh Nibley
That man has offered me unsolicited advice for six years, most of it bad. ~ Calvin Coolidge
Bad Men quotes by Calvin Coolidge
I mind how I said to you once that there is a price for being good the same as for being bad; a cost to pay. And it's the good men that cant deny the bill when it comes around. They cant deny it for the reason that there aint any way to make them pay it, like a honest man that gambles. The bad men can deny it; that's why dont anybody expect them to pay on sight or any other time. But the good cant. Maybe it takes longer to pay for being good than for being bad. ~ William Faulkner
Bad Men quotes by William Faulkner
But certain winds will make men's temper bad. ~ George Eliot
Bad Men quotes by George Eliot
I want someone to attack me. No weapons. Just me and him. I like to beat men and beat them bad ~ Mike Tyson
Bad Men quotes by Mike Tyson
Bad men cannot make good citizens. It is when a people forget God that tyrants forge their chains. A vitiated state of morals, a corrupted public conscience, is incompatible with freedom. No free government, or the blessings of liberty, can be preserved to any people but by a firm adherence to justice, moderation, temperance, frugality, and virtue; and by a frequent recurrence to fundamental principles. ~ Patrick Henry
Bad Men quotes by Patrick Henry
I guess so," Sophia shrugged, "but he wasn't the only one who learned something on that day. I learned I don't need to break bad men to make a better world. I just need to inspire good ones. ~ Kipjo Kenyatta Ewers
Bad Men quotes by Kipjo Kenyatta Ewers
The problem is that "bad men obey their lusts as servants obey their masters," and because they cannot control their desires, they can never find contentment.4 ~ William B. Irvine
Bad Men quotes by William B. Irvine
The world is full of bad men, but if you are prepared, and if you are STRONG, then you cannot be taken off guard, and you will not be scared. And when they DO come to your door in the middle of the night and you are there to greet them with all the light there is inside you, all the strength, they are the ones who will run for the shadows. And I've SEEN it. ~ Nickolas Butler
Bad Men quotes by Nickolas Butler
I'd write of people and places like I knew, and I'd make my characters talk everyday English; and I'd let the sun rise and set in the usual quiet way without much fuss over the fact. If I had to have villains at all, I'd give them a chance, Anne
I'd give them a chance. There are some terrible bad men the world, I suppose, but you'd have to go a long piece to find them ... But most of us have got a little decency somewhere in us. Keep on writing, Anne. ~ L.M. Montgomery
Bad Men quotes by L.M. Montgomery
When bad men combine, the good must associate; else they will fall one by one, an unpitied sacrifice in a contemptible struggle. ~ Edmund Burke
Bad Men quotes by Edmund Burke
Considering how bad men are, it is wonderful how well they behave. ~ Salvador De Madariaga
Bad Men quotes by Salvador De Madariaga
The object of the Bible is not to tell how good men are, but how bad men can become good. ~ D.L. Moody
Bad Men quotes by D.L. Moody
The blues ain't nothing but a good man feelin' bad. ~ Leon Redbone
Bad Men quotes by Leon Redbone
Great men are almost always bad men, even when they exercise influence and not authority. ~ Lord Acton
Bad Men quotes by Lord Acton
If religion does not make us better people, it will make us very much worse. And of all the bad men who have lived, the religious "bad man" is the worst of all. ~ C.S. Lewis
Bad Men quotes by C.S. Lewis
Wait in the car." He opened the door and started to climb out.
"Hold on! How long should I give you? What if you don't come back in a certain number of minutes? Should I call the cops?"
"Don't do anything. Don't call anyone. I'll be fine."
"But what if you're not?"
"Then go home."
And with that, he got out and jogged down the street, like if I heard screams or gunshots or whatever I would just drive on home like nothing happened. Well, good for you, I thought, watching him climb a short cement staircase and put a key in the door. You don't need anyone. Fine.
I watched the clock. Three minutes went by, four. I thought about knocking on the door, having of course no idea what I would actually do once I got there. Maybe I'd have to break the door down, wrestle Cameron away from the bad men, and then carry him out the way you hear people when they get a huge burst of adrenaline. Except the person I pictured rescuing was little Cameron, in shorts and a striped T-shirt, his arms wrapped around my neck.
Then there he was, bursting out of the apartment door and bounding down the steps, a big garbage bag in hand. He ran to the car, fast. I reached over and opened the passenger door and he jumped in.
"Go."
You can't exactly peel out in a '94 Escort, but I did my best. Cameron breathed hard, clutching the garbage bag to his chest.
"What happened?" I drove a good fifteen miles per hour over the speed limit, convinced we were being chased ~ Sara Zarr
Bad Men quotes by Sara Zarr
The Bible must be the invention of either good men or angels, bad men or devils, or of God. It could not be the invention of good men or angels, for they neither would or could make a book, and tell lies all the time they were writing it, saying, 'Thus saith the Lord,' when it was their own invention. It could not be the invention of bad men or devils, for they would not make a book which commands all duty, forbids all sin, and condemns their souls to hell for all eternity. Therefore, I draw this conclusion, that the Bible must be given by divine inspiration. ~ John Wesley
Bad Men quotes by John Wesley
Men can be brilliant and strong, they whispered to one another. But men can be mad, as well. And the mad ones can ruin the world.
Women, you must judge them ...
Never again can things be allowed to reach this pass, they said to one another as they thought of the sacrifice the Scouts had made.
Never again can we let the age-old fight go on between good and bad men alone.
Women, you must share responsibility ... and bring your own talents into the
struggle ...
And always remember, the moral concluded: Even the best men
the heroes
will sometimes neglect to do their jobs.
Women, you must remind them, from time to time ... ~ David Brin
Bad Men quotes by David Brin
There are good men and bad men of all nationalities, creeds and colors; and if this world of ours is ever to become what we hope some day it may become, it must be by the general recognition that the man's heart and soul, the man's worth and actions, determine his standing. ~ Theodore Roosevelt
Bad Men quotes by Theodore Roosevelt
Bad men with smiles are the most dangerous kind. ~ C.M. Hayden
Bad Men quotes by C.M. Hayden
Or perhaps the syndrome we are witnessing is preemptive capitulation: If we reduce our conscience to rubble before the bad men get here, they will have nothing to destroy. ~ J. Budziszewski
Bad Men quotes by J. Budziszewski
Good men gone unheard and bad men taking every advantage. ~ Alexandra Bracken
Bad Men quotes by Alexandra Bracken
The fool who has not sense to discriminate between what is good and what is bad is well nigh as dangerous as the man who does discriminate and yet chooses the bad. ~ Theodore Roosevelt
Bad Men quotes by Theodore Roosevelt
It is much easier to make good men wise, than to make bad men good. ~ Henry Fielding
Bad Men quotes by Henry Fielding
God loves good men more than bad men, as He loves angels more than men ~ Peter Kreeft
Bad Men quotes by Peter Kreeft
Why do magazine do this to women?" Miranda complains now, glaring at Vogue. "It's all about creating insecurity. Trying to make women feel like they're not good enough. And when women don't feel like they're good enough guess what?" "What?" I (Carrie) ask, picking up the grocery bad, "Men win. That's how they keen us down" she concludes ~ Candace Bushnell
Bad Men quotes by Candace Bushnell
Great men are almost always bad men. ~ John Emerich Edward Dalberg-Acton
Bad Men quotes by John Emerich Edward Dalberg-Acton
The gifts of bad men bring no good with them. ~ Euripides
Bad Men quotes by Euripides
She had not given me the cross to keep the bad men away, as a child might have been expected to do. No, in her mind the bad men could not be kept away. They were coming, and they would have to be faced. ~ John Connolly
Bad Men quotes by John Connolly
Bad men live that they may eat and drink, whereas good men eat and drink that they may live. ~ Socrates
Bad Men quotes by Socrates
Each land in the world produces its own men individually bad - and, in time, other bad men who kill them for the greater good. ~ Emerson Hough
Bad Men quotes by Emerson Hough
We must not indulge in unfavorable views of mankind, since by doing it we make bad men believe they are no worse than others, and we teach the good that they are good in vain. ~ Walter Savage Landor
Bad Men quotes by Walter Savage Landor
God! You hear me, God? Maybe I don't believe in you, but you damned well better believe in me! J. B. Books! See this gun? I kill with it! You kill, too, but I make a slicker job of it. I kill bad men, you kill good. I have reason, you don't. You are killing me hellish slow, and I do not deserve such treatment. You wrong me, and I will not be wronged. So let us have it out, God. Face me! Be a man and face me now if you have the guts - stand and draw or back off! God damn you, God, throw down on me and kill me now or let me live! ~ Glendon Swarthout
Bad Men quotes by Glendon Swarthout
That's always been part of my goal - to show the dark side of women. Men write about bad men all the time, and they're called antiheroes. ... What I read and what I go to the movies for is not to find a best friend, not to find inspirations, not necessarily for a hero's journey. It's to be involved with characters that are maybe incredibly different from me, that may be incredibly bad but that feel authentic. ~ Gillian Flynn
Bad Men quotes by Gillian Flynn
One of the commonest things to do with savings is to lend them to some Government. In view of the fact that the bulk of the public expenditure of most civilized Governments consists in payment for past wars or preparation for future wars, the man who lends his money to a Government is in the same position as the bad men in Shakespeare who hire murderers. The net result of the man's economical habits is to increase the armed forces of the State to which he lends his savings. Obviously it would be better if he spent the money, even if he spent it in drink or gambling. ~ Bertrand Russell
Bad Men quotes by Bertrand Russell
Many laws as certainly make bad men, as bad men make many laws. ~ Walter Savage Landor
Bad Men quotes by Walter Savage Landor
The kind of cruelty Ernie showed today scares me, reminds me and warns me not to forget what men are capable of. And not even bad men. Just ordinary men. The ~ Lauren Nicolle Taylor
Bad Men quotes by Lauren Nicolle Taylor
Women have a thirst for order and beauty as for something physical; there is a strange female power of hating ugliness and waste as good men can only hate sin and bad men virtue. ~ Gilbert K. Chesterton
Bad Men quotes by Gilbert K. Chesterton
A good man is kinder to his enemy than bad men are to their friends. ~ Joseph Hall
Bad Men quotes by Joseph Hall
Common sense was exactly what kingship, almost by definition, lacked: when the king's orders were executed no one dared to tell him honestly how they had turned out. With the absolute powers bestowed by kingship came an arrogance, a ruthlessness, an inflexibility, a habit of compulsion, an unwillingness to listen to reason, that no small community would have endured from any of its members-though the aggressive and humanly disagreeable qualities that make for such ambitious leadership might be found anywhere-as Margaret Mead discovered among the Mundugumor, whose leaders were known to the community as "really bad men," aggressive, gluttonous for power and prestige. ~ Lewis Mumford
Bad Men quotes by Lewis Mumford
Marked." My face was on fire, my limbs shaking. "All of you. I will take all of you out with my own bare hands!"
There was laughter building in Bram's voice as he responded. "As cute as I'm sure that would be, your attempt ... if we thought the people who might try to trace that chip could make you absolutely, one hundred percent safe, I would carry you to them and hand you over myself."
I gingerly rested my fingertips against my forehead, breathing deeply, trying to calm myself down.
"There are some very bad men out to get you, Miss Dearly."
"You have got to be kidding me."
"By the way, you have quite the vocabulary, for a princess." He still sounded amused.
This statement was random enough to get my attention. "Princess?" I asked, confused.
"You know, a princess. A New Victorian girl."
My lips parted to fire off another question before it clicked. "You're a Punk."
"Born and bred."
"Fantastic. ~ Lia Habel
Bad Men quotes by Lia Habel
I wasn't trying to make an epic. I was trying to tell a simple story about bad men in changing times. 'The Wild Bunch' is simply what happens when killers go to mexico. The strange thing is that you feel a great sense of loss when these killers reach the end of the line. ~ Sam Peckinpah
Bad Men quotes by Sam Peckinpah
Good churches are not built by bad men; at least, there must be probity and enthusiasm somewhere in the society. These minsters were neither built nor filled by atheists. ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
Bad Men quotes by Ralph Waldo Emerson
Bad men cannot make good citizens. ~ Patrick Henry
Bad Men quotes by Patrick Henry
Evils that befall the world are not nearly so often caused by bad men as they are by good men who are silent when an opinion must be voiced. ~ Lawrence Schiller
Bad Men quotes by Lawrence Schiller
I want to see these bad, bad, bad, bad men come to grips with their humanity. ~ James Ellroy
Bad Men quotes by James Ellroy
Since bad men find the rule of kings no less burdensome than that of tyrants, the recognition of the right of private citizens to kill tyrants involves rather more chance of losing a king than of being relieved of a tyrant. ~ William Archibald Dunning
Bad Men quotes by William Archibald Dunning
If the Divine call does not make us better, it will make us very much worse. Of all bad men religious bad men are the worst. Of all created beings the wickedest is one who originally stood in the immediate presence of God. ~ C.S. Lewis
Bad Men quotes by C.S. Lewis
There are no bad plants or bad men. There is only bad husbandry. ~ Victor Hugo
Bad Men quotes by Victor Hugo
Even bad men love their mamas. ~ Russell Crowe
Bad Men quotes by Russell Crowe
A perception of this truth lies at the back of the universal human feeling that bad men ought to suffer. It is no use turning up our noses at this feeling, as if it were wholly base. On its mildest level it appeals to everyone's sense of justice. Once ~ C.S. Lewis
Bad Men quotes by C.S. Lewis
Fencing. Fighting. Torture. Poison. True love. Hate. Revenge. Giants. Hunters. Bad men. Good men. Beautifulest ladies. Snakes. Spiders. Beasts of all natures and descriptions. Pain. Death. Brave men. Coward men. Strongest men. Chases. Escapes. Lies. Truths. Passion. Miracles. ~ William Goldman
Bad Men quotes by William Goldman
Though good and bad men suffer alike, we must not suppose that there is no difference between the men themselves, because there is no difference in what they both suffer. For even in the likeness of the sufferings, there remains an unlikeness in the sufferers; and though exposed to the same anguish, virtue and vice are not the same thing. For as the same fire causes gold to glow brightly, and chaff to smoke; and under the same flail the straw is beaten small, while the grain is cleansed; and as the lees are not mixed with the oil, though squeezed out of the vat by the same pressure, so the same violence of affliction proves, purges, clarifies the good, but damns, ruins, exterminates the wicked. ~ Augustine Of Hippo
Bad Men quotes by Augustine Of Hippo
Terrorism is obviously on everybody's mind. The other day my son says to me, 'Daddy, how come the bad men hate us?' How sad is that? I actually got tears in my eyes - because he's 18. What kind of a moron am I raising? ~ Greg Giraldo
Bad Men quotes by Greg Giraldo
Just know that there's bad men in the world, and dying fast by your mother is a better way than theirs. ~ Mindy McGinnis
Bad Men quotes by Mindy McGinnis
I have known a vast quantity of nonsense talked about bad men not looking you in the face. Don't trust that conventional idea. Dishonesty will stare honesty out of countenance any day in the week, if there is anything to be got by it. ~ Charles Dickens
Bad Men quotes by Charles Dickens
The world needs bad men. We keep the other bad men from the door. ~ Rust Cohle
Bad Men quotes by Rust Cohle
The Bible must be the invention either of good men or angels, bad men or devils, or of God. However, it was not written by good men, because good men would not tell lies by saying 'Thus saith the Lord;' it was not written by bad men because they would not write about doing good duty, while condemning sin, and themselves to hell; thus, it must be written by divine inspiration ~ Charles Wesley
Bad Men quotes by Charles Wesley
Friendship (as the ancients saw) can be a school of virtue; but also (as they did not see) a school of vice. It is ambivalent. It makes good men better and bad men worse. ~ C.S. Lewis
Bad Men quotes by C.S. Lewis
Or perhaps it's the wickedness in him that she can't resist. There are such women. ~ Madeleine Brent
Bad Men quotes by Madeleine Brent
Bad men do what good men only dream. ~ Gavin Ewart
Bad Men quotes by Gavin Ewart
He held up a book then. "I'm going to read it to you for relax."
"Does it have any sports in it?"
"Fencing. Fighting. Torture. Poison. True Love. Hate. Revenge. Giants. Hunters. Bad men. Good men. Beautifulest Ladies. Snakes. Spiders ... Pain. Death. Brave men. Cowardly men. Strongest men. Chases. Escapes. Lies. Truths. Passion. Miracles."
"Sounds okay," I said and I kind of closed my eyes. ~ William Goldman
Bad Men quotes by William Goldman
Of all bad men religious bad men are the worst. ~ C.S. Lewis
Bad Men quotes by C.S. Lewis
There was, no doubt, a confusion of persons in damnation: what Pantheists falsely hoped of Heaven bad men really received in Hell. They were melted down into their Master, as a lead soldier slips down and loses his shape in the ladle over the gas ring. ~ C.S. Lewis
Bad Men quotes by C.S. Lewis
Any man that eats Chili and Cornbread can't be all bad ~ Carroll Shelby
Bad Men quotes by Carroll Shelby
As to the book called the bible, it is blasphemy to call it the Word of God. It is a book of lies and contradictions and a history of bad times and bad men. ~ Thomas Paine
Bad Men quotes by Thomas Paine
Has it got any sports in it?" "Fencing. Fighting. Torture. Poison. True love. Hate. Revenge. Giants. Hunters. Bad men. Good men. Beautifulest ladies. Snakes. Spiders. Beasts of all natures and descriptions. Pain. Death. Brave men. Coward men. Strongest men. Chases. Escapes. Lies. Truths. Passion. Miracles." "Sounds okay," I said, and I kind of closed my eyes. "I'll do my best to stay awake . . . but I'm awful sleepy, Daddy . . . ." Who can know when his world ~ William Goldman
Bad Men quotes by William Goldman
If you are suffering from a bad man's injustice, forgive him lest there be two bad men. ~ Saint Augustine
Bad Men quotes by Saint Augustine
Malevolence and paranoia cohabit in a twisted mind. Bad men trust no one because they know the treachery of which they themselves are capable. ~ Dean Koontz
Bad Men quotes by Dean Koontz
At the core of all successful societies are procedures for blocking the advancement of bad men ~ Paul Collier
Bad Men quotes by Paul Collier
He had a strong conviction that no government could be ordained that could resist these internal forces, when, they are directed to its destruction by bad men, or unreasoning mobs, and many then believed, as some yet believe, that our government is unequal to such pressure, when the assault is thoroughly desperate. ~ Alexis De Tocqueville
Bad Men quotes by Alexis De Tocqueville
In this world, therefore, the dominion of good men is profitable, not so much for themselves as for human affairs. But the dominion of bad men is hurtful chiefly to themselves who rule, for they destroy their own souls by greater license in wickedness; while those who are put under them in service are not hurt except by their own iniquity. For to the just all the evils imposed on them by unjust rulers are not the punishment of crime, but the test of virtue. Therefore the good man, although he is a slave, is free; but the bad man, even if he reigns, is a slave, and that not of one man, but, what is far more grievous, of as many masters as he has vices; of which vices when the divine Scripture treats, it says, For of whom any man is overcome, to the same he is also the bond-slave. ~ Augustine Of Hippo
Bad Men quotes by Augustine Of Hippo
They were not bad men. They had worked hard on behalf of the valley for hundreds of
years. But it is possible, after a while, to develop certain dangerous habits of thought. One is
that, while all important enterprises need careful organization, it is the organization that needs
organizing, rather than the enterprise. And another is that tranquillity is always a good thing. ~ Terry Pratchett
Bad Men quotes by Terry Pratchett
Bad men you want to kiss are the worst; he had only to use the right tone of voice and you offered your throat to the knife. ~ Patrick Gale
Bad Men quotes by Patrick Gale
You can't be angry with bad men. But a good man in the wrong - why one thirsts for his blood. ~ G.K. Chesterton
Bad Men quotes by G.K. Chesterton
I've come so far, but in some ways, I haven't gone any distance. I'm still hiding from bad men. I'm still trying to figure how to make my own way, my own fortune. ~ Rae Carson
Bad Men quotes by Rae Carson
The world was full of bad men. Full of bad dreams that didn't always happen when you were asleep. ~ Alex North
Bad Men quotes by Alex North
This Book had to be written by one of three people: good men, bad men or God. It couldn't have been written by good men because they said it was inspired by the revelation of God. Good men don't lie and deceive. It couldn't have been written by bad men because bad men would not write something that would condemn themselves. It leaves only one conclusion. It was given by divine inspiration of God. ~ John Wesley
Bad Men quotes by John Wesley
bad things do not happen because of a wildly complex swirl of abstract historical and social variables. They happen because bad men live to stalk our happiness. And you can fight, and possibly even defeat, bad men. If you can read the hidden story ~ Jonathan Gottschall
Bad Men quotes by Jonathan Gottschall
Lord, what music hast thou provided for Thy saints in heaven, when Thou affordest bad men such music on earth! ~ Izaak Walton
Bad Men quotes by Izaak Walton
Probably all laws are useless; for good men do not want laws at all, and bad men are made no better by them. ~ Demonax
Bad Men quotes by Demonax
Bad men are full of repentance. ~ Aristotle.
Bad Men quotes by Aristotle.
The actions of bad men produce only temporary evil, the actions of good men only temporary good ; and eventually the good and the evil altogether subside, are neutralized by subsequent generations, absorbed by the incessant movements of future ages. But the discoveries of great men never leave us; they are immortal; they contain those eternal truths which survive the shock of empires, outlive the struggles of rival creeds, and witness the decay of successive religions. ~ Henry Thomas Buckle
Bad Men quotes by Henry Thomas Buckle
