I cannot learn creation from other people; I've got to do it myself. Now, honestly, I regret not studying - I don't know about harmonies, or anything, so if I'm composing a song, it's really hard. ~ Psy
Ku Mohon Song quotes by Psy
Clouds of insects danced and buzzed in the golden autumn light, and the air was full of the piping of the song-birds. Long, glinting dragonflies shot across the path, or hung tremulous with gauzy wings and gleaming bodies. ~ Arthur Conan Doyle
Ku Mohon Song quotes by Arthur Conan Doyle
I compose my own stuff. I've been writing songs with words. I've been playing more on the keyboard because I can transpose it to sheet music on the computer. ~ Alicia Witt
Ku Mohon Song quotes by Alicia Witt
She always played his song because whenever she saw him, it was like moving into a warm pocket of air. ~ Elizabeth Strout
Ku Mohon Song quotes by Elizabeth Strout
I spent a fair amount of time editing the lyrics and allowing the song to kind of evolve ... anytime there's anything worthwhile, it certainly 'feels' like it happened on the spur of the moment, but it's a composite of lots of spurs of the moment, hopefully. And over time, you catch up with those, and then you have a full set of lyrics you've thought of and you feel comfortable singing. ~ Jeff Tweedy
Ku Mohon Song quotes by Jeff Tweedy
Inspiration and stealing are two completely different things. If somebody wants to make a song like "Stairway to Heaven" and writes a song on acoustic guitar, Led Zeppelin does not own every song that's on acoustic guitar for the rest of time. ~ Robin Thicke
Ku Mohon Song quotes by Robin Thicke
You have to insulate yourself - I'm talking about from everything, people can be talking to you and you won't hear 'em - that's how you write a song. And I haven't been able to do that over here 'cause I'm so busy and then, when I am off, I want to get away from music. ~ Mel Tillis
Ku Mohon Song quotes by Mel Tillis
(About a woman's funeral) Do you remember the part in The Wizard of Oz when the witch is dead and the Munchkins start singing? Think that kind of happiness. I swear every woman there was ready to break into song. Maybe a few of the men, too. (p. 80) ~ Julie Mulhern
Ku Mohon Song quotes by Julie Mulhern
I know the video platform so, so, so well. I know the perfect mixture of how comedic a piece has to be, what the video has to be like, what the song has to sound like, to make it successful. ~ Lilly Singh
Ku Mohon Song quotes by Lilly Singh
I always thought the women of song don't get along, and I don't know why that is. ~ Joni Mitchell
Ku Mohon Song quotes by Joni Mitchell
I know I promised you
I wouldn't make a scene
in front of all your friends
but is it wrong if I write
your name on the soles
of my tennis shoes is it
wrong if I want to stand
next to you in gym class
your legs remind me of
a Bruce Springsteen song
I would do a hundred sit-
ups for you & whisper your
name every time & kiss my
knees pretending they are you ~ Nate Slawson
Ku Mohon Song quotes by Nate Slawson
I've always felt like every note of a song is of equal value. ~ Vince Gill
Ku Mohon Song quotes by Vince Gill
I'm somebody who grew up listening to a lot of musical theater, so getting to finally write musical theater songs and songs that sound that way - the emphasis being on the storytelling, but the arrangements and the orchestrations can be really varied - I found that to be, actually, a really joyful discovery. ~ Sara Bareilles
Ku Mohon Song quotes by Sara Bareilles
Even the sad roots songs have a lot of good stories to them, and the murder ballads are good too. I mean, who doesn't like to watch a nice gory murder film on TV? ~ Valerie June
Ku Mohon Song quotes by Valerie June
To create an album of love, I really had - I thought it was going to be easy, because I've always written love songs. But I thought if I really want to make a love album that contributes, that actually means something, I've got to go deep. ~ Jason Mraz
Ku Mohon Song quotes by Jason Mraz
They went up against white mobs, water hoses, vicious dogs, the Ku Klux Klan, trigger-happy nightstick-wielding police, armed only with their belief in justice and their desire for freedom. ~ Assata Shakur
Ku Mohon Song quotes by Assata Shakur
People wonder why there seems to be no meaning in life. Meaning does not exist a priori. There is no meaning existing in life; one has to create it. Only if you create it will you discover it. It has to be invented first. It is not lying there like a rock, it has to be created like a song. It is not a thing, it is significance that you bring through your consciousness. ~ Rajneesh
Ku Mohon Song quotes by Rajneesh
Where is the land of Luthany,
Where is the tract of Elenore?
I am bound therefore.

'Pierce thy heart to find the key;
With thee take
Only what none else would keep;
Learn to dream when thou dost wake;
Learn to wake when thou dost sleep.
Learn to water joy with tears,
Learn from fears to vanquish fears;
To hope, for thou dar'st not despair;
Exult, for that thou dar'st not grieve;
Plough thou the rock until it bear;
Know, for thou else couldst not believe;
Lose, that the lost thou may'st receive;
Die, for none other way canst live.

'When earth and heave lay down their veil,
And that apocalypse turns thee pale;
When thy seeing blindeth thee
To what thy fellow-mortals see;
When their sight to thee is sightless;
Their living, death; their light, most lightless;
Search no more--
Pass the gates of Luthany,
Tread the region Elenore!'

Where is the land of Luthany?
And where the region Elenore?
I do faint therefore.

'When to the new eyes of thee
All things by immortal power,
Near or far,
Hiddenly
To each other linked are,
That thou canst not stir a flower
Without troubling of a star;
When thy song is shield and mirror
To the fair snake curled pain,
Where thou dar'st affront her terror
That on her thou may'st attain
Persean Conquest; seek no more,
O seek no more! ~ Francis Thompson
Ku Mohon Song quotes by Francis Thompson
More than 95 percent of both legal and illegal immigration into the United States is non-white. Because of the way immigration law is structured, the highest-skilled nations on earth - those of Europe - are allowed only a tiny percentage of immigrants, while the third world nations such as Mexico are dumping their chaff onto American shores at the highest rate in history. ~ David Duke
Ku Mohon Song quotes by David Duke
It was as familiar to me as a song I'd been hearing my whole life, covered by various people but the basic tune the same. ~ Sarah Dessen
Ku Mohon Song quotes by Sarah Dessen
I get plenty of, 'Is that song about me?' from men but I just tell them to get over themselves. ~ Paloma Faith
Ku Mohon Song quotes by Paloma Faith
I don't feel super attached to a certain time when I hear the music. Some of the songs I still play live and, through that I feel like I've been able to have it move with me through my life as opposed to being just a little piece of time. ~ Angel Deradoorian
Ku Mohon Song quotes by Angel Deradoorian
You'll be mine and I'll be yours. ~ Taylor Swift
Ku Mohon Song quotes by Taylor Swift
The idea of having an indie rock "career" while living in a remote backwater like Seattle was too ridiculous to contemplate. It was simply about having adventures, one day at a time, one song at a time. ~ Bruce Pavitt
Ku Mohon Song quotes by Bruce Pavitt
My circus train pulls through the night
Full of lions and trapeze artists
I'm done with elephants and clowns
I want to run away and join the office ~ Mike Doughty
Ku Mohon Song quotes by Mike Doughty
Just like the waves of the ocean, my heart is singing the song of endless, eternal, sadness, joy, and love. ~ Debasish Mridha
Ku Mohon Song quotes by Debasish Mridha
Richard liked to say he picked things up for a song, which was odd, because he never sang. He never even whistled. He was not a musical person. ~ Margaret Atwood
Ku Mohon Song quotes by Margaret Atwood
Oh Beautiful for smoggy skies, insecticided grain,
For strip-mined mountain's majesty above the asphalt plain.
America, America, man sheds his waste on thee,
And hides the pines with billboard signs, from sea to oily sea. ~ George Carlin
Ku Mohon Song quotes by George Carlin
When the sweet talkin's done, a man is a two face, a worrisome thing who'll leave you to sing the blues in the night. ~ Johnny Mercer
Ku Mohon Song quotes by Johnny Mercer
I embrace everybody, but you work everybody and each song at a time to who it is for. I believe that's how you build a palace. You build a palace one block at a time and then you'll have what you want. That's how it goes. ~ B.J. The Chicago Kid
Ku Mohon Song quotes by B.J. The Chicago Kid
It's not like a tree where the roots have to end somewhere, it's more like a song on a policeman's radio, how we rolled up the carpet so we could dance, and the days were bright red, and every time we kissed there was another apple to slice into pieces. ~ Richard Siken
Ku Mohon Song quotes by Richard Siken
When a child is born in a jail and during their life all they know is the jail they were born into, the idea of freedom becomes so terrifying that they ridicule the very thought of being free, as a clinical illness. It is nothing like the song that a caged bird sings. ~ Alejandro C. Estrada
Ku Mohon Song quotes by Alejandro C. Estrada
Maybe the key to finding the perfect song is simply rewriting the lyrics. ~ Kandi Steiner
Ku Mohon Song quotes by Kandi Steiner
Some things lend themselves well to songs, some things don't, and I'm learning that a lot at the moment. It's still a relatively new way of writing. It's only really the last five to 10 years that I've taken my writing seriously in this way, as something I can keep working toward. I think I feel myself much more before as simply a songwriter. ~ PJ Harvey
Ku Mohon Song quotes by PJ Harvey
A song that touched us? Whether attending a concert, listening to the radio, or singing in the shower, there's something about music that can fill us with emotion, from joy to sadness. ~ Anonymous
Ku Mohon Song quotes by Anonymous
I started writing songs when I was real young, when I was 3 years old. The piano spoke to me - I don't remember when I wasn't playing piano. My second grade talent show was the first time I performed my own thing. I dressed up as Dracula and played a song called 'Monster Rock' that I wrote. And I won. ~ Ian Axel
Ku Mohon Song quotes by Ian Axel
I was interested in maintaining the dignity and the hearts of the songs, letting them breathe and become what they are. ~ Ryan Cabrera
Ku Mohon Song quotes by Ryan Cabrera
The most beautiful, perhaps the only true philosophical song existing in any known tongue ... perhaps the deepest and loftiest thing the world has to show. ~ Wilhelm Von Humboldt
Ku Mohon Song quotes by Wilhelm Von Humboldt
Playing on the streets of Iraq, or in Israel or the Gaza strip, I'd sing angry protest songs against war. People would say, 'Make us clap, make us dance, and laugh and sing.' It really made me think about the importance of happy music. ~ Michael Franti
Ku Mohon Song quotes by Michael Franti
Christmas may not bring a single thing; still, it gives me a song to sing. ~ Charles Dickens
Ku Mohon Song quotes by Charles Dickens
My band is the best band in the world, period. So, I insist on every song being better then it is on the record. So by the end of the tour, we have to be playing the song better then how it's recorded. ~ Ben Harper
Ku Mohon Song quotes by Ben Harper
'Spectrum' is in part a disco song. But we play it hard, and it's a real euphoric, wailing tune. It's kind of like a total house anthem, in a way, but it seems to be going down really well. We've got all the grunge kids going mad for disco house raves. ~ Florence Welch
Ku Mohon Song quotes by Florence Welch
The wu in wuxia means both "to cut" and "to stop." It also refers to the weapon - usually a sword - carried by the assassin, the hero of the story. The genre became very popular during the Song Dynasty [960–1279]. These stories often depicted a soldier in revolt, usually against a corrupt political leader. In order to stop corruption and the killing of innocent people, the hero must become an assassin. So wuxia stories are concerned with the premise of ending violence with violence. Although their actions are motivated by political reasons, the hero's journey is epic and transformative - physically, emotionally, and spiritually. In the Tang Dynasty, a prominent poet named Li Bai wrote some verses about an assassin. This is the earliest example I know of wuxia literature. Gradually, the genre gave shape to ideas and stories that had been percolating in historical and mythological spheres. Although these stories were often inspired by real events of the past, to me they feel very contemporary and relevant.

It's one of the oldest genres in Chinese literature, and there are countless wuxia novels today. I began to immerse myself in these novels when I was in elementary school, and they quickly became my favorite things to read. I started with newer books and worked my way back to the earliest writing from the Tang Dynasty. ~ Hou Hsiao-hsien
Ku Mohon Song quotes by Hou Hsiao-hsien
Wrapped up in our thoughts we can't hear love or beauty's song. ~ Marty Rubin
Ku Mohon Song quotes by Marty Rubin
The sweetest melody that plays
on starry nights and wintry days,
most soothing to my listening ears
and calming to beleaguering fears,
I call a symphony on air―
the song of sweet, still silence rare. ~ Richelle E. Goodrich
Ku Mohon Song quotes by Richelle E. Goodrich

Weep softly O mother,
the walls have ears you know...
The streets are awash o mother!
I cannot go searching for him anymore.

The streets are awash o mother
with blood and tears, pellets and screams.
that silently remain locked in the air,
while they seal our soulless dreams.

The guns are out, O mother,
while our boys go armed with stones,
I cannot go looking for him O mother,
I have no courage to face what I will find.
For, I need to tend to this little one beside,
with bound eyes that see no more.

-----

Weep for the home we lost O mother,< ~ Srividya Srinivasan
