I had just dropped my waste into the dustbin but you have dropped yourself into the dustbin to know that, get well soon ~ 'SON Of GOD' P.S.Jagadeesh Kumar
Knowing Your Worth quotes by 'SON Of GOD' P.S.Jagadeesh Kumar
Too easy to get = Just as easy to forget. ~ Mandy Hale
Knowing Your Worth quotes by Mandy Hale
...the world isn't ever going to validate you, so you better get good at doing it yourself. There's no shame in knowing your worth as a human being-in knowing how awesome you really are. ~ Eva Darrows
Knowing Your Worth quotes by Eva Darrows
Never chase a person that doesn't know your worth because the moment you catch him you will always feel you were never good enough. ~ Shannon L. Alder
Knowing Your Worth quotes by Shannon L. Alder
How do you get motivated? By knowing your worth. Americans do not know how worthy they are. You deserve to be healthy, but a lot of times, people have, as childs been told - as a children been told that they're no good, that they're never going to be anything else. ~ Richard Simmons
Knowing Your Worth quotes by Richard Simmons
If people want something to be wrong about you - they are going to make things wrong about you. That is why it is my belief to never try and prove anything to anyone. Real diamonds belong to people who know how to spot a real diamond; they don't belong to people who need to be convinced that they are real diamonds. It's the idiots who need to be convinced of something that they cannot already see. ~ C. JoyBell C.
Knowing Your Worth quotes by C. JoyBell C.
A lot of people never find the person God created them to be. They're too busy trying to live up to other people's expectations, or they try to create themselves in the image of a person they admire or envy. Just because we respect someone or think their life might be more exciting than ours doesn't mean God created us to be just like them. Sometimes we have to ignore the people in our lives so we can hear the voice of God ... But making a decision to put someone else first out of love isn't the same thing as putting them first out of fear. Because you're afraid they won't love you if you don't act the way they might want you to. ~ Nancy Mehl
Knowing Your Worth quotes by Nancy Mehl
(James Joyce, in conversation with Carl Jung"Literary artists know more about the human mind than you fellers have a hope in hell of knowing. Ha. My craft is ebbing. I am yung and easily freudened. One of these days I'll show the lot of you what the unconscious mind is really like. I don't need any of you. In a sense I am Freud."
Jung looked gloomily guilty at the name. "Yes?"
"What's Freud in English?"
"Joy."
"Joy and Joyce. There's little enough difference. Except that I add C and E for Creative Endeavour. I spit in all your eyes. ~ Anthony Burgess
Knowing Your Worth quotes by Anthony Burgess
That's the real endeavor: to try to create that direct conduit from the pure consciousness of your creative voice to the person who's a craftsman who can go into the world and consistently deliver new things worth paying attention to. ~ Billy Corgan
Knowing Your Worth quotes by Billy Corgan
Okay, I have a follow-up question."
Madden exhales. "Yes."
"Is this car worth a lot in your human money?"
"Paige, there's nothing around. Okay? You're going to be fine. Just get in the car, turn on the ignition, and do the obstacle course."
"In that order?"
"Yes."

A 2016 Dodge Viper SRT costs exactly $87,895. I know, because I just crashed one. ~ Andrea Portes
Knowing Your Worth quotes by Andrea Portes
Put on thy beautiful garments, O daughters of Zion. Live up to the great and magnificent inheritance which the Lord God, your Father in Heaven, has provided for you. Rise above the dust of the world. Know that you are daughters of God, children with a divine birthright. Walk in the sun with your heads high, knowing that you are loved and honored, that you are a part of his kingdom, and that there is for you a great work to be done which cannot be left to others. ~ Gordon B. Hinckley
Knowing Your Worth quotes by Gordon B. Hinckley
You are either going to go through the pain of disappointment or discipline in your life. The latter makes the pain worth it. ~ Ziad K. Abdelnour
Knowing Your Worth quotes by Ziad K. Abdelnour
Society conspires against her from early infancy. Her brain is steadily filled with plaster until it sets: 'If you're not married by the time you're twenty-five, you'll have good reason to be ashamed'; 'if you laugh, you won't look dignified' ; 'if your face betrays your feelings, you'll look coarse'; 'if you mention the existence of a single body hair, you're repulsive' ; 'if a boy kisses you on the cheek in public, you're a whore'; if you enjoy eating, you're a pig'; 'if you take pleasure in sleeping, you're no better than a cow'; and so on.

These precepts would be merely anecdotal if they weren't taken so much to heart. ~ Amelie Nothomb
Knowing Your Worth quotes by Amelie Nothomb
I cannot say your worships have delivered the matter well when I find the ass in compound with the major part of your syllables [ ... ] our very priests must become mockers if they shall encounter such ridiculous subjects as you are. When you speak best unto the purpose, it is not worth the wagging of your beards, and your beards deserve not so honorable a grave as to stuff a botcher's cushion or to be entombed in an ass's packsaddle [ ... ] more of your conversation would infect my brain, being the herdsmen of the beastly plebeians. I will be bold to take my leave with you. ~ William Shakespeare
Knowing Your Worth quotes by William Shakespeare
Meditation is the tool you use to "upgrade your operating system," to move from that "either/or" thinking of the binary mind into the more spacious heart awareness that sustains the wisdom way of knowing. ~ Cynthia Bourgeault
Knowing Your Worth quotes by Cynthia Bourgeault
Just so we know where we stand, darling."
"I'll tell you just where we stand, darling.I don't need your insulting offer.I'm running my life my way."
"And that's been such a rousing success so far."
"I know what I'm doing.Take that ridiculous smirk off your face."
"I can't.It sticks there every time you say you know what you're doing." But he tucked all the papers back in his briefcase, closed it. "I'll say this,I don't think it's an entirely moronic idea-this place."
"Well,I'll sleep easy now, knowing I have your approval."
"Approval's a little strong. It's more like hopeful resignation." He gave the banister a last wiggle. "But I believe in you,Margo."
Temper died into confusion. "Damn you, Josh.I can't keep up with you."
"Good." He strolled over, flicked a finger down her cheek. "I think you're going to make something out of this shop that'll surprise everyone. Especially you." He leaned down, and when he kissed her this time it was light and friendly. "Got cab fare?"
"Excuse me?"
Grinning, he pulled keys out of his pocket. "Fortunately, I had a spare set to the Jag. Don't work too late, duchess."
She didn't smile until he was well out of sight. ~ Nora Roberts
Knowing Your Worth quotes by Nora Roberts
My fave routine is The Roller Coaster. First of all it's a great way to get into a card trick, without stating it's a card trick. The routine is so brilliantly structured as to at first, intrigue, psychologically unsettle and then blow away your audience. An extra bonus is that it will hopefully create a welcome respite from bloody invisible deck routines. Worth the price of the book. ~ Steve Valentine
Knowing Your Worth quotes by Steve Valentine
I am not my uncle. I am not my father, but I do subscribe to the twenty rules he taught me from the cradle. One, if you're afraid to fight, then you'll never win. Two, in times of tragedy and turmoil, you'll learn who your true friends are. Treasure them because they are few and far between. Three, know your enemies, and never become your own worst one. Four, be grateful for those enemies. They will keep you honest and ever striving to better yourself. Five, listen to all good advice, but never substitute someone else's judgment for your own. Six, all men and women lie. But never lie to yourself. Seven, many will flatter you. Befriend the ones who don't, for they will
remind you that you're human and not infallible. Eight, never fear the truth. It's the lies that will destroy you. Nine, your worst decisions will always be those that are made out of fear. Think all matters through with a clear head. Ten, your mistakes won't define you, but your memories, good and bad, will. Eleven, be grateful for your mistakes as they will tell you who and what you're not. Twelve, don't be afraid to examine the past, it's how you learn what you don't want to do again. Thirteen, there's a lot to be said for not knowing better. Fourteen, all men die. Not everyone lives. Fifteen, on your deathbed, your greatest regrets will be what you didn't do. Sixteen, don't be afraid to love. Yes, it's a weakness that can be used against you. But it's also a source of the greatest strength you will ever ~ Sherrilyn Kenyon
Knowing Your Worth quotes by Sherrilyn Kenyon
I don't know. I mean, it's not all beautifully harmonic, this world we find ourselves in. Clearly. There's shit music, and sometimes the melody goes away completely. There's silence and dissonant chord that cringe your ears. But the synchronicity of a perfectly created chorus? And the fact that you never know when one is coming? And that amazing feeling, the first time you hear a song and now it's going to be with you forever?
I have to think that's worth everything. ~ Bill Konigsberg
Knowing Your Worth quotes by Bill Konigsberg
Being brave enough to be alone frees you up to invite people into your life because you want them and not because you need them. ~ Mandy Hale
Knowing Your Worth quotes by Mandy Hale
< It's a lot to think about.>
"It is."
< Scared.>
He nodded, eyes warming the tiniest bit.
< A lot could go wrong.>
"A lot could go wrong. Some pain. And, I suppose, a giving up of hope. But your voice won't get any worse than it is right now. It may well be worth the risk."
I nodded, my eyes in my lap.
"I feel as though I'm pressuring you. You're probably smart to get past this first surgery before we make plans. I do want you to know - " He stopped, long enough that I eventually looked up to see what was wrong. He was staring at me, staring into me, in a way that made me feel a little exposed. It wasn't an unkind stare, but it was sure as hell thorough. He cleared his throat. "Doctor-patient relationships aren't always easy, Mr. Paine. Harrison. And ours has been more fraught than most, due to...well. Due to things that had nothing to do with your actual care. I want to clear the air. I am your doctor. I care about your wellbeing. For what it's worth, I empathize with the sense of loss you're going through, and how hard that can shift the ground under you. You've been a fighter, Harrison, and I admire that. I will take care of you as long as you need me to, okay?"
Well, fuck. Now I was crying in front of this guy. I'd turned into a real weeper since getting my throat knocked out of me.
Ren was chill enough not to say anything. He just stood, then rested his hand on my shoulder, letting it sit there for ~ Peter Styles
Knowing Your Worth quotes by Peter Styles
For two weeks, I lay awake at night and said Hail Marys over and over to stop my heart from beating too fast. I suddenly realized how much being a husband was about fear: fear of not being able to keep somebody safe, of not being able to protect somebody from all the bad stuff you want to protect them from. Knowing they have more tears in them than you will be able to keep them from crying. I realized that Renee had seen me fail, and that she was the person I was going to be failing in front for the rest of my life. It was just a little failure, but it promised bigger failures to come. Additional ones, anyway. But that's who your wife is, the person you fail in front of. Love it so confusing; there's no peace of mind. ~ Rob Sheffield
Knowing Your Worth quotes by Rob Sheffield
What did I do now?" He reluctantly pulled the car the curb.

I needed to get out of this car – like now. I couldn't breathe.

I unbuckled and flung open the door.

"Thanks for the ride. Bye."

I slammed the door shut and began down the sidewalk. Behind me, I heard the engine turn off and his door open and shut. I quickened my stride as James jogged up to me. I slowed down knowing I couldn't escape his long legs anyway. Plus, I didn't want to get home all sweaty and have to explain myself.

"What happened?" James asked, matching my pace.

"Leave me alone!" I snapped back. I felt his hand grab my elbow, halting me easily.

"Stop," he ordered.

Damn it, he's strong!

"What are you pissed about now?" He towered over me. I was trapped in front of him, if he tugged a bit, I'd be in his embrace.

"It's so funny huh? I'm that bad? I'm a clown, I'm so funny!" I jerked my arm, trying to break free of his grip. "Let me go!"

"No!" He squeezed tighter, pulling me closer.

"Leave me alone!" I spit the words like venom, pulling my arm with all my might.

"What's your problem?" James demanded loudly. His hand tightened on my arm with each attempt to pull away. My energy was dwindling and I was mentally exhausted. I stopped jerking my arm back, deciding it was pointless because he was too strong; there was no way I could pull my arm back without first kneeing him ~ Sarah Tork
Knowing Your Worth quotes by Sarah Tork
I think it makes you wet, knowing I'd move mountains to get a chance between your thighs. ~ Anonymous
Knowing Your Worth quotes by Anonymous
What's the point of knowing the date of your own death? I'd spend the rest of my life out of my mind with fear. ~ Nina George
Knowing Your Worth quotes by Nina George
Don't be afraid of who you're not.. Be afraid of never knowing who you are. Defend your authentic self. ~ Karen Laffey
Knowing Your Worth quotes by Karen Laffey
Keefe marched through the doors to the Healing Center and declared, "Wow, it's like walking into a cloud of sulk in here."

He fanned the air away from his face as he made his way over. "I mean, I figured you be feeling a little lost about your Cognate buddy, but trust me: Fitzy isn't worth this much angst."

"I'm not pouting about Fitz, "Sophie informed him.

"Ah, so you admit you are pouting? "He countered, plopping on to the side of her cot with enough oomph to make the mattress bounce. ~ Shannon Messenger
Knowing Your Worth quotes by Shannon Messenger
Tom said, "Let me beg you never to tell that story to Will. He'd have you locked up." "But the house wasn't worth what I asked!" "I repeat what I said about Will. What's Adam want with your house?" "He's going to move there. Wants the twins to go to school in Salinas." "What'll ~ John Steinbeck
Knowing Your Worth quotes by John Steinbeck
The idea...that our professional military men and women train for years without knowing whether they will ever have to actually carry out their missions to the fullest extent of their abilities is the very heart of what service is all about. Heroes aren't designated in advance. Everyone must always be ready to execute.

In my experience, it's always the greatest heroes who claim they never did anything beyond what any of their buddies would have done in the same situation. Our training and our culture breed that response into us all, no matter what war we were part of. You train yourself to a standard and thereby make yourself interchangeable with others who share the same standard. And that gives everyone an equal claim to the pride that goes with having served your country. ~ Marcus Luttrell
Knowing Your Worth quotes by Marcus Luttrell
Not everyone is going to love us. And that's OK. There's nothing like rejection to make a vulnerable person question their worth. But do not let your reflection in the mirror be distorted by what you imagined someone else saw. ~ Jacqueline Simon Gunn
Knowing Your Worth quotes by Jacqueline Simon Gunn
What was meaningful? What was meaningless? What did it mean, to amount to something? What type of life, was worth living? Was it better, to make a ton of money, and have a fucking goddamn Mercedes, or whatever the fuck kind of car it was, to be a lawyer with a 'serious' job, and to have 'amounted to something,' or was it better to just be a waiter, and work the evening shift, and have your days free to goof off with your roommates, your friends, to go to meditation, to take some time to reflect, and enjoy life, and to not always be in such a big goddamn rush to get somewhere? ~ T. Scott McLeod
Knowing Your Worth quotes by T. Scott McLeod
It could have been quite worse," he agreed magnanimously.
"And those two guys who felt up your butt while the maintenance dude was working on that hinge were kicked out because they violated the 'must have fondler's consent' rule, or so that pink-haired woman who spoke English said, so at least they won't do that to the next guy trapped in the stocks."
"I will sleep easier knowing that. ~ Katie MacAlister

WHAT 28 FEELS LIKE

Every year of your 20s is subject to a very specific set of emotions, at least that's what I think. 21 is great for obvious, surface-level reasons. 22 is a train wreck if you graduated in four years, and are then thrust into real life. 25 is when pretty much everything changes – from your priorities to your body. And, then, there's 28. I don't know what it is about this age in particular, but I've deemed it "The Crisis Year" and here's why.

1. The realization that you're now officially in your "late 20s" is enough to send you straight into the climax of a full-blown panic attack. You don't even get to start at the beginning of the said attack, no. You wake up on your 28th birthday, screaming and dry heaving. It's an instinctual reaction to knowing that, for the next 365 days of your life, you will be teetering on the fine line between actual adulthood and clutching on desperately to your youth.

2. Because you're now in your late 20s, your parents start to treat you more like an GULP adult. Even if you've been paying your own way since forever, maybe you both secretly knew deep down that, in case of a huge emergency, asking them for help wasn't off-limits. But, when 28 hits, it's no longer an option.

3. You just feel old(er). There's something about the curvy lines of the number "8" that cast a darker and much more serious shadow over things. You'll still go out to popular nightlife establishments, but you will be ~ Joseph Ejiro
Knowing Your Worth quotes by Joseph Ejiro
Glass broke and metal tools clattered to the ground.
"Have you any idea what all of that is worth?" Shezler growled, lowering his arm and advancing.
"Your soul, apparently," Kelsier whispered. ~ Brandon Sanderson
Knowing Your Worth quotes by Brandon Sanderson
Knowing why you're doing something provides the inspiration and motivation to give the extra perspiration needed to persevere when things go south..
..Purpose provides the ultimate glue that can help you stick to the path you've set. When what you do matches your purpose, your life just feels in rhythm, and the path you beat with your feet seems to match the sound in your head and heart. Live with purpose and don't be surprised if you actually hum more and even whistle while you work. ~ Gary Keller
Knowing Your Worth quotes by Gary Keller
Life at a public company ain't for me. The board pays you what you're worth, then you get reamed for your compensation. ~ Irving Azoff
Knowing Your Worth quotes by Irving Azoff
Guys,
Don't be Clever by knowing one side.
Your assumptions are always wrong.
Even a one rupee coin have two sides. ~ Allan Bridjith
Knowing Your Worth quotes by Allan Bridjith
It's going to be so wonderful you're going to forget about all your troubles in the past! It's going to be so wonderful you're going to forget about all these things that happened before, those terrible things you've been through! Hallelujah? It will be worth it all when we see Jesus! Life's trials will seem so small, when we see Christ! One glimpse of His dear face, all sorrow will erase! So bravely run the race, 'til we see Christ! ~ David Berg
Knowing Your Worth quotes by David Berg
A long hug when you really need it Sometimes we all get rattled. When bad news surprises you, painful memories flash back, or heavy moments turn your stomach to mush, it's great to fall into a warm and comforting pair of big, wide open arms. Shaking with sobs, dripping with tears, you snort up your runny nose and smear snot across their shoulder as that hug relaxes you and comforts you and helps you get through everything, even for a minute, even for a moment. Maybe there are "It's going to be okay" whispers, some gentle back rubbing, or just the quiet silence of knowing that they're not going to let go until you let go first. As their steady arms support you, and the pain washes over you, the hug gives you a warm glow in a shivery moment. So when you eventually pull back, smile that classic "I'm sorry and thank you" smile, and swipe wet bangs off your forehead, you still might not feel great, but if you're lucky you'll feel a little more AWESOME! ~ Neil Pasricha
Knowing Your Worth quotes by Neil Pasricha
I'm not surprised that people are unsettled because of war. The enemy has got a powerful tool, and that is to get on your TV screen by killing innocent people. And my job is to continue to remind the people it's worth it, we're not going to retreat hastily, and we're not going to pull out of there before the job is done. And we have got a plan for victory. ~ George W. Bush
Knowing Your Worth quotes by George W. Bush
There are times in life when you must seclude yourself and battle your thoughts. There are also times when you must call in the troops. The key is knowing when to make the call. ~ Sanjo Jendayi
Knowing Your Worth quotes by Sanjo Jendayi
I had suddenly become aware of my hands, which meant only one thing: It was time to say my farewells and make a graceful
or at least dignified
exit.
Dogger had once told me, 'Your hands know when it's time to go.'
And he had been right. The hands are the canaries in one's own personal coal mine: They need to be watched carefully and obeyed. A fidget demands attention, and a full-blown not-knowing-what-to-do-with-them means 'Vamoose! ~ Alan Bradley
Knowing Your Worth quotes by Alan Bradley
One thing that tells me a company is in trouble is when they tell me how good they were in the past. Same with countries. You don't want to forget your identity. I am glad that you were great in the fourteenth century, but that was then and this is now. When memories exceed dreams, the end is near. The hallmark of a truly successful organization is the willingness to abandon what made it successful and start fresh."
In societies that have more memories than dreams, too many people are spending too many days looking backward. They see dignity, affirmation, and self-worth not by mining the present but by chewing on the past. And even that is usually not a real past but an imagined and adorned past. Indeed, such societies focus all their imagination on making that imagined past even more beautiful than it ever was, and then they cling to it…, rather than imagining a better future and acting on that. ~ Thomas L. Friedman
Knowing Your Worth quotes by Thomas L. Friedman
The journey to more self love is often a quiet and long road. One without cheerleaders or confetti. Just you and your strong inner conviction to do things differently. There are both triumphs and failures on this road. And when you truly turn a corner you will bask in quiet victory, finally feeling the power you once thought was elsewhere. ~ Renae A. Sauter
Knowing Your Worth quotes by Renae A. Sauter
Maybe you can't relate to people that well now, but you will in time. You have to be present, though. You have to forget yourself and take in the layers of experience that are buzzing around you. The smart people around you will tolerate some awkwardness for the sake of knowing someone else who's smart and interesting. But if you don't know who you are and what you're all about, if you're ashamed and distracted by the nervous noise in your head, you won't be able to take part in the beauty of the world around you. ~ Heather Havrilesky
Knowing Your Worth quotes by Heather Havrilesky
There will never be a better time than now to - well...
Do anything you desire...
Be anything you want...
Go wherever you please...
Know your worth, embrace life and love but most of all, embrace yourself... ~ Virginia Alison
Knowing Your Worth quotes by Virginia Alison
I'll make the other scream for you, Mare, every last one. Not just your parents. Not just your siblings. But every single one like you. I'm going to find them, and they will die with you in their thoughts, knowing this is the fate you have brought them. I am the king and you could've been my Red Queen. Now you are nothing. ~ Victoria Aveyard
Knowing Your Worth quotes by Victoria Aveyard
Once you establish a foundation of knowing what the greatest recording artists of all time were ... Wouldn't you want your kids to know this stuff? ~ Robbie Robertson
Knowing Your Worth quotes by Robbie Robertson
It is pointless to embark on any journey if you do not believe yourself worthy of the destination. ~ Anthon St. Maarten
Knowing Your Worth quotes by Anthon St. Maarten
Angling is an Art ... an art worth your learning. ~ Izaak Walton

Not knowing, he said, is a thousand times more horrible than facing your fear. ~ Jodi Picoult
