Identify the sequence of stages that leads to turning your dreams into reality ~ Sunday Adelaja
Calling Dreams quotes by Sunday Adelaja
Fear is natural because one is moving in darkness. The inner journey is very dark. Light comes but that is only at the end. First one has to pass through the tunnel, hence trust is needed. ~ Osho
Calling Dreams quotes by Osho
We live our days in the microscopic, but something within us calls us to dream in the cosmic – every one of us. And within us exists those two worlds: the world as it is and the world as we think it ought to be. ~ A.J. Darkholme
Calling Dreams quotes by A.J. Darkholme

Calling Dreams quotes by Sunday Adelaja
I came to Tasmania in search of an elusive species. And I found it. But never in my wildest dreams did I expect to find you. And I believe I found a type of butterfly that exists only in my belly which makes itself known when I think of you. ~ N.R. Walker
Calling Dreams quotes by N.R. Walker
They had both been raised in complete isolation from the everyday world, with their own set of values and disciplines, not because they had been chosen to be different but because they had been born that way. Their calling was random, genetic - unfair. ~ Karen Traviss
Calling Dreams quotes by Karen Traviss
In the jumbled, fragmented memories I carry from my childhood there are probably nearly as many dreams as images from waking life. I thought of one which might have been my earliest remembered nightmare. I was probably about four years old - I don't think I'd started school yet - when I woke up screaming. The image I retained of the dream, the thing which had frightened me so, was an ugly, clown-like doll made of soft red and cream-coloured rubber. When you squeezed it, bulbous eyes popped out on stalks and the mouth opened in a gaping scream. As I recall it now, it was disturbingly ugly, not really an appropriate toy for a very young child, but it had been mine when I was younger, at least until I'd bitten its nose off, at which point it had been taken away from me. At the time when I had the dream I hadn't seen it for a year or more - I don't think I consciously remembered it until its sudden looming appearance in a dream had frightened me awake.

When I told my mother about the dream, she was puzzled.

'But what's scary about that? You were never scared of that doll.'

I shook my head, meaning that the doll I'd owned - and barely remembered - had never scared me. 'But it was very scary,' I said, meaning that the reappearance of it in my dream had been terrifying.

My mother looked at me, baffled. 'But it's not scary,' she said gently. I'm sure she was trying to make me feel better, and thought this reasonable statement would help. ~ Lisa Tuttle
Calling Dreams quotes by Lisa Tuttle
Dreams are the touchstones of our characters. ~ Henry David Thoreau
Calling Dreams quotes by Henry David Thoreau
Hold on to thy sacred dreams. ~ Lailah Gifty Akita
Calling Dreams quotes by Lailah Gifty Akita
my mother sacrificed her dreams
so i could dream ~ Rupi Kaur
Calling Dreams quotes by Rupi Kaur
The more repression there is, the more need there is for irreverence toward those who are responsible for that repression. But too often sarcasm passes for irony, name-calling passes for insight, bleeped-out four-letter words pass for wit, and lowest-common-denominator jokes pass for analysis. Satire should have a point of view. It doesn't have to get a belly laugh. It does have to present criticism. ~ Paul Krassner
Calling Dreams quotes by Paul Krassner
And I'm not too great at that sort of comforting thing, especially when my hands are cold and the bed is warm. I carried him softly through the broken street, with one salty eye and a heavy, deathly heart. With him I tried a little harder. I watched the contents of his soul for a moment and saw a black-painted boy calling the name Jesse Owens as he ran through an imaginary tape. I saw him hip-deep in some icy water chasing a book, and I saw a boy lying in bed, imagining how a kiss would taste from his glorious next door neighbour. He does something to me, that boy. Every time. He steps on my heart. He makes me cry. ~ Markus Zusak
Calling Dreams quotes by Markus Zusak
A true champion is someone who wants to make a difference, who never gives up, and who gives everything she has no matter what the circumstances are. A true champion works hard and never loses sight of her dreams. ~ Dot Richardson
Calling Dreams quotes by Dot Richardson

Dreams can be of value even if you don't have an opportunity to turn them into reality. ~ Henning Mankell
Calling Dreams quotes by Henning Mankell
It is wonderful to have great ambitions and splendid dreams as long as these ambitions and dreams are wonderful for the humanity too! ~ Mehmet Murat Ildan
Calling Dreams quotes by Mehmet Murat Ildan
He was one of the fortunate few for whom there simply was no discernible line between work and play, between creation and recreation. ~ George F. Will
Calling Dreams quotes by George F. Will
They were all gone, these other selves, and they would never come back again. They had vanished, like little thoughts and little dreams, poor has-beens that had lived in me and I in them, now thrown away into the dust, not even lingering as shadows to keep me company. ~ Daphne Du Maurier
Calling Dreams quotes by Daphne Du Maurier
The indie kids, huh? You've got them at your school, too. That group with the cool-geek haircuts and the charity shop clothes and names from the fifties. Nice enough, never mean, but always the ones who end up being the Chosen One when the vampires come calling or when the alien queen needs the Source of All Light or something. They're too cool to ever, ever do anything like go to prom or listen to music other than jazz while reading poetry. They've always got some story going on that they're heroes of. The rest of us just have to live here, hovering around the edges, left out of it all, for the most part. ~ Patrick Ness
Calling Dreams quotes by Patrick Ness
I was blessed to have family members who encouraged me to pursue my dreams. Whether it is your parents, or your uncles or your aunts or even the neighbor down the road, it's important that kids have someone who encourages them to chase their rainbow. ~ Dolly Parton
Calling Dreams quotes by Dolly Parton
Children dwell in their dreams. Get them the wings and they'll fly. ~ Vikrmn

I didn't dream about you last night. I woke up in fear. ~ Michael Summers
Calling Dreams quotes by Michael Summers
[...] and I said to myself: Aha. George used to have a way of coping."
"When?" I said, confused. "You mean, when I was a kid?"
"Have you ever heard," you said, "of the idea of the shadow self?"
Sure, I told you. It was one of the Jungian archetypes - one of the symbols of the collective unconscious. That was pretty much all I remembered from college.
"Not bad. Do you know what function it plays, in analysis?" you asked. I shook my head. You continued. "The shadow is a frequent figure in dreams. It can appear as a kind of doppelgänger; an evil twin. It embodies our repressed desires. The dark stuff. The shameful stuff. The you-want-to-fuck-your-mother stuff." (48) ~ Justin Evans
Calling Dreams quotes by Justin Evans
Only in sleep, where there's nothing but mind, can the mind clearly process all of the day's experiences/memories - without distraction. And, perhaps, only in sleep, where there's nothing but mind, can the mind truly understand the meaning of these memories, as well, and assimilate them with all the other memories you've accumulated over time, forming greater meanings - unintelligible in the light of day - building, perhaps, to some ultimate meaning at the culmination of life - unintelligible in the light of living. ~ Mark X.
Calling Dreams quotes by Mark X.
Hope is a garden where dreams grow like flowers. ~ Debasish Mridha
Calling Dreams quotes by Debasish Mridha
I'm not more than a musician that enjoys what he does and a Colombian that dreams and fights for peace in his country. ~ Juanes
Calling Dreams quotes by Juanes
Rachel scowled. "You've known Mrak longer than anyone alive. You know what I know - the things he's done, the things he hides from everyone else."
The Curator's smile did not wane as he shrugged. "Indeed I do. But judge-jury-executioner is not my calling. I'm just the gatekeeper. ~ S.G. Night
Calling Dreams quotes by S.G. Night

Calling Dreams quotes by John Steinbeck
The mountains are calling and I must go. ~ John Muir
Calling Dreams quotes by John Muir
I am free to dream.
I am free to love.
I am free to write. ~ Lailah Gifty Akita
Calling Dreams quotes by Lailah Gifty Akita
Boxer and Clover would harness themselves to the cutter or the horse-rake (no bits or reins were needed in these days, of course) and tramp steadily round and round the field with a pig walking behind and calling out 'Gee up, comrade!' or 'Whoa back, comrade!' as the case might be. And every animal down to the humblest worked at turning the hay and gathering it. Even the ducks and hens toiled to and fro all day in the sun, carrying tiny wisps of hay in their beaks. In the end they finished the harvest in two days' less time than it had usually taken Jones and his men. Moreover, it was the biggest harvest that the farm had ever seen. There was no wastage whatever; the hens and ducks with their sharp eyes had gathered up the very last stalk. And not an animal on the farm had stolen so much as a mouthful. ~ George Orwell
Calling Dreams quotes by George Orwell
The kitchen table is where we mark milestones, divulge dreams, bury hatchets, make deals, give thanks, plan vacations, and tell jokes. It's also where children learn the lessons that families teach: manners, cooperation, communication, self-control, values. ~ Doris Christopher
Calling Dreams quotes by Doris Christopher
If you have answered God's call and made the decision to fulfill your calling, then the devil will try to destroy you ~ Sunday Adelaja
Calling Dreams quotes by Sunday Adelaja
No one else will ever see your dream until YOU envision it. See it and they'll see it too. ~ Toni Sorenson
Calling Dreams quotes by Toni Sorenson
Cold stars reflected in the water
Abyss beckons us his dark distance.
Our world, only one of hundreds,
In which we can not see the sun.
In this world, I am uneasy,
I want to touch another planets.
Because there is dark and cramped,
That spirit is calling me to run.
Wander through the world I'm tired,
And every day to meet the dawn,
For me this world has closed its doors.
I want to go to other worlds,
To know all mysteries of their,
And here never to return. ~ Arthur Tomaszewicz
