We can set clear goals about the kind of person we want to be and slowly work to change our habits, and our relationships as a result. In this process, we develop a virtuous character that acts harmoniously with others.

Human Technology suggests that meditative experience can be deeper if preceded by stimulation and energizing our bodies and breath.We do this through "meridian exercises", an effective way of moving our bodies to improve our breath-work and to enhance our awareness while energizing our bodies.

The only thing you need to be present here and now is your breathing. When you feel your breath, your mind is with your body.

Can you maintain the awareness of ultimate commonality while you are fully engaged in your life as a functional ego or a character? When negative information has taken over the natural workings of the brain, you could say that a good brain has become a bad brain. The brain naturally distinguishes positive information from negative, but sometimes we simply lose trust in our brain, allowing outside information to run the show.
