Every moment nature is serving fresh dishes with the items of happiness. It is our choice to recognize and taste it. ~ Amit Ray
Mindful Being quotes by Amit Ray
Mindfulness increases the awareness of the Nature of the Mind. If we learn to Control our Mind and Listen to our Souls we can consciously choose to be Joyful instead of sad, Peaceful and Loving, Alert and Relaxed. ~ Natasa Nuit Pantovic
Mindful Being quotes by Natasa Nuit Pantovic
We train ourselves all through our life to waste energy following our inner narratives. We are often unconsciously driven by our fears, worries and fantasies. Enter the space of Awareness of the present moment with no emotional filters, no regrets nor hopes, no daydreaming and no nightmares. ~ Natasa Nuit Pantovic
Mindful Being quotes by Natasa Nuit Pantovic
Mindfulness is continuous undisturbed awareness of the present moment. Fully aware of here, and now, we pay attention to what is happening right in front of us, we set aside our mental and emotional baggage. To be mindful we have to re-train our mind. ~ Natasa Nuit Pantovic
Mindful Being quotes by Natasa Nuit Pantovic
Self-development is a way of Life. Our Self-Development never ends. We are never too young or too old for personal growth.
We have an amazing potential to reach our highest potential, to have truly inspiring careers and loving relationships.
Unfortunately, often we walk through our lives asleep, we let our habits rule us, and find it difficult to change our beliefs. Recognizing the power of our Mind and the power of our Soul, learning the art of Concentration and Love, we are learning to Live with the Flow, not against it.
It is in our nature to learn and grow. For happiness we need to learn to Love, we need to learn to Concentrate and we should keep the flow and energy of inspiration within our lives. ~ Natasa Nuit Pantovic
Mindful Being quotes by Natasa Nuit Pantovic
We hope to help you discover Your Self; inspire you to live more passionate and sensitive life; helping you listen to your Soul, finding your-own space in this matrix of life, making a genuine contribution to humanity. ~ Natasa Nuit Pantovic
Mindful Being quotes by Natasa Nuit Pantovic
I've got a theory about uniforms. I think they design them so that you become, like, a nonperson, so that you're not Daisy Ramirez, a Human Being, but instead a thing that brings people pizza and exchanges their tickets for plastic dinosaurs. It's like the uniform is designed to hide me. ~ John Green
Mindful Being quotes by John Green
We're only here for one reason: to wake up ... To realize yourself doesn't mean you are perfect as a human being. It means you are willing to bear the imperfections and not sell out to them. ~ Eli Jaxon-Bear
Mindful Being quotes by Eli Jaxon-Bear
College professors used to be badly paid and worth it. Colleges used to be modest institutions; they should go back to being modest institutions. ~ P. J. O'Rourke
Mindful Being quotes by P. J. O'Rourke
The Supreme Court has said that: Marriage is the most important relation in life. Now that's being withheld from the plaintiffs. It is the foundation of society. It is essential to the orderly pursuit of happiness. It's a right of privacy older than the Bill of Rights and older than our political parties. One of the liberties protected by the Due Process Clause. A right of intimacy to the degree of being sacred. And a liberty right equally available to a person in a homosexual relationship as to heterosexual persons. ~ Ted Olson
Mindful Being quotes by Ted Olson
I think the best thing about being a writer is getting to dream. It's constantly viewing life through the "what if?" lens. ~ Kevin J. Fitzgerald
Mindful Being quotes by Kevin J. Fitzgerald
If we truly understand, remember, and love the people of Indonesia, let us accept this principle of social justice, that is, not only political equality, but we must create equality in the economic field, too, which means the best possible well-being. ~ Sukarno
Mindful Being quotes by Sukarno
Raegan and I were on the opposite side of town, strutting across the gravel lot of the Red Door, slowly and in unison, as if we were being filmed while walking to a badass soundtrack. ~ Jamie McGuire
Mindful Being quotes by Jamie McGuire
BASE jumping is skydiving from fixed objects, like buildings, antennae, bridges and earth - meaning mountains, cliffs. It's for sure - for me - it's the ultimate feeling of being in free fall, with all the visual references. ~ Ueli Gegenschatz
Mindful Being quotes by Ueli Gegenschatz
Every day we see allurements of one kind or another that tell us what we have is not enough. Someone or something is forever telling us we need to be more handsome or more wealthy, more applauded or more admired than we see ourselves as being. We are told we haven't collected enough possessions or gone to enough fun places. We are bombarded with the message that on the world's scale of things we have been weighed in the balance and found wanting. Some days it is if we have been locked in a cubicle of a great and spacious building where the only thing on the TV is a never-ending soap opera entitled Vain Imaginations. But God does not work this way. ~ Jeffrey R. Holland
Mindful Being quotes by Jeffrey R. Holland
You need a change of perspective, Thalli, not a change in circumstance. Joy comes from the Designer alone. Humans, even the best humans, are flawed. We cannot meet each other's needs completely. We were not designed to do that. We were created to be in relationship with the Designer. In him, we find true joy and peace. We find freedom in loving him and being loved by him. When we look to others to fill that hole, we find ourselves empty. ~ Krista McGee
Mindful Being quotes by Krista McGee
Men are apt to overvalue the tongues, and to think they have made considerable progress in learning when they have once overcome these; yet in reality there is no internal worth in them, and men may understand a thousand languages without being the wiser. ~ E.D. Baker
Mindful Being quotes by E.D. Baker
It's temporary, Maddie. This is all very temporary.
Great, I thought. My life will suck, temporarily. For the time being, my life is going to be claustrophobic and awful and lonely and desolate and depressing. Temporarily. ~ Katie Kacvinsky
Mindful Being quotes by Katie Kacvinsky
[N]ever stop being yourself. ~ Ruth Minsky Sender
Mindful Being quotes by Ruth Minsky Sender
The way I was taught, being black was a plus, always. Being a human being, being in America, and being black, all three were the greatest things that could happen to you. The combination was unbeatable. ~ Leontyne Price
Mindful Being quotes by Leontyne Price
I think that being perceptive and having interests is nothing but an asset. ~ Ashley Judd
Mindful Being quotes by Ashley Judd
Acting is just playing the violin in an orchestra. Directing is being the conductor. ~ Jason Bateman
Mindful Being quotes by Jason Bateman
Every relation between forms in a painting is to some degree adaptable to the painter's purpose. This is not the case with photography. Composition in the profound, formative sense of the word cannot enter into photography. The true content of a photograph is invisible, for it derives from a play, not with form, but with time. One might argue that photography is as close to music as to painting. I have said that a photograph bears witness to a human choice being exercised. The choice is not between photographing X and Y: but between photographing at X moment or at Y moment. The objects recorded in any photograph (from the most effective to the most commonplace) carry approximately the same weight, the same conviction. What varies is the intensity with which we are made aware of the poles of absence and presence. A photograph, while recording what has been seen, always and by its nature refers to what is not seen. It isolates, preserves, and presents a moment taken from a continuum. The only decision (the still photographer) can take is as regards the moment he chooses to isolate. Yet this apparent limitation gives the photograph its unique power. The immediate relation between what is present and what is absent is particular to each photograph: it may be that of ice to sun, of grief to tragedy, of a smile to a pleasure, of a body to love, of a winning race-horse to the race it has run. ~ John Berger
Mindful Being quotes by John Berger
Sometimes the stage terrifies me," I confessed. "But being here alone like this, it's freeing."

Solitude can be freeing," he said. ~ Lesa Howard
Mindful Being quotes by Lesa Howard
The most awful tyranny is that of the proximate Utopia where the last sins are currently being eliminated and where, tomorrow, there will be no more sins because all the sinners will have been wiped out. p. 22 ~ Thomas Merton
Mindful Being quotes by Thomas Merton
What whites have rarely had to think about - because being the dominant group, we are so used to having our will done, with a little effort at least - is that maybe the point is not victory, however much we all wish to see justice attained and injustice routed. Maybe our redemption comes from the struggle itself. Maybe it is in the effort, the striving for equality and freedom that we become human. ~ Tim Wise
Mindful Being quotes by Tim Wise
Being a villain, it seems, provides a certain amount of indisputable clarity." -- Commander Invincible ~ Neil Connelly
Mindful Being quotes by Neil Connelly
Capitalism is not a human being. Capitalism is a Moloch, a god, a god of bloody sacrifice that sees human beings as ants ~ Terence McKenna
Mindful Being quotes by Terence McKenna
I am not in search of friends and confidences. I'm concentrating on being. I live each hour, one by one. My mind is quiet and still. I am no longer waiting for time to pass ~ Rose Tremain
Mindful Being quotes by Rose Tremain
It's like I've experienced quite a weird and unusual life, you know, being with a mom who's a single parent and struggling with money and things like that. It's really hard. And it brings a lot of other insecurities in life and a lot of other issues in life, in school and a bunch of other things. ~ Fefe Dobson
Mindful Being quotes by Fefe Dobson
The world will change for the better when people decide they are sick and tired of being sick and tired of the way the world is, and decide to change themselves. ~ Sydney Madwed
Mindful Being quotes by Sydney Madwed
My friend Emma, who likes things to add up neatly, claims that this is because my parents died when I was too young to take it in: they were there one day and gone the next, crashing through that fence so hard and fast they left it splintered for good. When I was Lexie Madison for eight months she turned into a real person to me, a sister I lost or left behind on the way; a shadow somewhere inside me, like the shadows of vanishing twins that show up on people's X-rays once in a blue moon. Even before she came back to find me I knew I owed her something, for being the one who lived. ~ Tana French
Mindful Being quotes by Tana French
it is horrible being all alone. ~ J.R.R. Tolkien
Mindful Being quotes by J.R.R. Tolkien
I am the Olympic Ambassador. I always promote Olympics. I just want to say, Olympics is Olympics. [You] cannot mix with politics. Olympics for me is love, peace, [being] united. ~ Jackie Chan
Mindful Being quotes by Jackie Chan
The sudden and total disappearance of Mawlana aroused resentment among his disciples and students, some of them becoming highly critical of Hazrat Shams, even threatening him. They believed Hazrat Shams had ruined their spiritual circle and prevented them from listening to Mawlana's sermons. In March of 1246 he left Konya and went to Syria without warning. After he left, Mawlana was grief stricken, secluding himself even more rather than engaging with his disciples and students. He was without a doubt furious with them. Realising the error of their ways, they repeatedly repented before Mawlana. Some months later, news arrived that Hazrat Shams had been seen in Damascus and a letter was sent to him with apologising for the behaviour of these disciples. Hazrat Sultan Walad and a search party were sent to Damascus to invite him back and in April 1247, he made his return. During the return journey, he invited Hazrat Sultan Walad to ride on horseback although he declined, choosing instead to walk alongside him, explaining that as a servant, he could not ride in the presence of such a king. Hazrat Shams was received back with joyous celebration with sama ceremonies being held for several days, and all those that had shown him resentment tearfully asked for his forgiveness. He reserved special praise for Hazrat Sultan Walad for his selflessness, which greatly pleased Mawlana. As he originally had no intention to return to Konya, he most likely would not have returned if Hazrat Sulta ~ Shams Tabrizi
Mindful Being quotes by Shams Tabrizi
Being hated isn't easy, you know. You just cannot falter meeting their expectations. ~ Aniruddha Sastikar
Mindful Being quotes by Aniruddha Sastikar
Christian hands never clasp and He doesn't give gifts for gain because a gift can never stop being a gift
it is always meant to be given. ~ Ann Voskamp
Mindful Being quotes by Ann Voskamp
He experienced a familiar comfort being in the presence of another person's unknowable pain. More than any landscape, this place felt like home. ~ Adam Haslett
Mindful Being quotes by Adam Haslett
However, perhaps the most insidious aspect of the New Age movement is what I call the Optimism Gestapo, or those who regulate and insist on positive thinking by any means necessary, where any criticism or expression of negative or painful emotions are disdained.

I once brought up to an Ashtar Command "ascencionist" (i.e. someone who believes that extraterrestrials will come and save her), the fact that democratic senator Paul Wellstone may have been murdered in order to get republican Norm Coleman elected. Before I could elaborate, she cut me off by saying, "It was just his time."

She was intolerant of the fact that I dared interfere with the reality she was creating, free of conspiracy, cutthroat politicians, and skullduggery. And the more I have played devil's advocate with New Agers, the more I have discovered that such intolerance is the norm. For there currently is a belief amongst New Agers that anything negative that one expresses will only further magnetize negativity. However, those who pursue this line of thinking just end up repressing their negative emotions, only to have them burst forth in uncontrollable ways….

Anyone seeking a supportive metaphysical community should first ask themselves if their ability to think independently is being compromised. For keeping one's metaphysical radar functioning is most important in a world crawling with "forced cheer" gurus, COINTELPRO channelers, and self-help authors. ~ David Icke
Mindful Being quotes by David Icke
Right now, if you're interested in being a dramatic actor, they're not making that many just regular dramas. Movies have to have some other thing going on. ~ Ethan Hawke
Mindful Being quotes by Ethan Hawke
For a pure sense of being tumultuously alive, you can't beat the nasty side of existence. ~ Philip Roth
Mindful Being quotes by Philip Roth
The entire page of data had been innocuous, except for the inversion - the Rebirth Principle, Eli had called it, a re-creation of self. It wasn't necessarily positive, or even voluntary, but always marked, and Flinch ticked off that box with a bold red check. In the wake of his trauma, everything about his life had changed. Not subtle changes, either, but full flips. He went from being married with three kids to being divorced, unemployed, and under a restraining order. His survival - or revival, rather - should have been cause for celebration, for joy. Instead, everything and everyone had fled. ~ Victoria Schwab
