Wanting To Inspire Others quotes by Krishna Saagar
The true leader is a different sort; he seeks effective activity which has a truly beneficient purpose. He inspires others to follow in his wake, and holding aloft the torch of wisdom, leads the way for society to realize its genuinely great aspirations ~ Haile Selassie
Wanting To Inspire Others quotes by Haile Selassie
Once you have a handle on loving yourself, you can practice sharing that love with others. You've probably been taught to reserve the language of love for when you're feeling overwhelmingly tender and passionate, and only for those who have made huge commitments to you. We recommend instead learning to recognize and acknowledge all the sweet feelings that make life worthwhile even when they don't knock you over - and, moreover, learning to communicate those feelings to the people who inspire them. ~ Dossie Easton
Wanting To Inspire Others quotes by Dossie Easton
Leadership is based on a spiritual quality; the power to inspire, the power to inspire others to follow ~ Vince Lombardi
Wanting To Inspire Others quotes by Vince Lombardi
There are only two ways to influence human behavior: you can manipulate it or you can inspire it.

Very few people or companies can clearly articulate WHY they do WHAT they do. By WHY I mean your purpose, cause or belief - WHY does your company exist? WHY do you get out of bed every morning? And WHY should anyone care?

People don't buy WHAT you do, they buy WHY you do it.

We are drawn to leaders and organizations that are good at communicating what they believe. Their ability to make us feel like we belong, to make us feel special, safe and not alone is part of what gives them the ability to inspire us.

For values or guiding principles to be truly effective they have to be verbs. It's not "integrity," it's "always do the right thing." It's not "innovation," it's "look at the problem from a different angle." Articulating our values as verbs gives us a clear idea - we have a clear idea of how to act in any situation.

Happy employees ensure happy customers. And happy customers ensure happy shareholders - in that order.

Leading is not the same as being the leader. Being the leader means you hold the highest rank, either by earning it, good fortune or navigating internal politics. Leading, however, means that others willingly follow you - not because they have to, not because they are paid to, but because they want to.

You don't hire for skills, you hire for attitude. You can always teach skills.

Simon Sinek
Wanting To Inspire Others quotes by Simon Sinek
The only point of having power it seems to me is to empower others. The only point of leadership is to inspire. ~ Eve Ensler
Wanting To Inspire Others quotes by Eve Ensler
Photography begins not in the camera but in the
mind and the eye. The real work is one of noticing and appreciating, seeing things clearly and differently, and
sharing that vision with others. I have developed my
vision and my photographic craft in order to bring
the beauty of nature to light in a fresh way that
can inspire and nourish people. ~ Bill Atkinson
Wanting To Inspire Others quotes by Bill Atkinson
When you can inspire others to dream, learn, evolve, and become one that they can appreciate and respect themselves; then you have arrived as a leader. ~ Vishwas Chavan
Wanting To Inspire Others quotes by Vishwas Chavan
A true leader inspires and empowers others to hope more, dream more, do more, and live more. ~ Debasish Mridha
Wanting To Inspire Others quotes by Debasish Mridha
Greatness is when you inspire others, motivate others and encourage others to live in harmony". ~ Abdulazeez Henry Musa
Wanting To Inspire Others quotes by Abdulazeez Henry Musa
In most important ways, leaders of the future will need the traits and capabilities of leaders throughout history: an eye for change and a steadying hand to provide both vision and reassurance that change can be mastered, a voice that articulates the will of the group and shapes it to constructive ends, and an ability to inspire by force of personality while making others feel empowered to increase and use their own abilities. ~ Rosabeth Moss Kanter
Wanting To Inspire Others quotes by Rosabeth Moss Kanter
In life, everything just happens, and I believe even before we are born that our role in life has already been determined. My main ambition is to continue to write music, which helps me to evolve in a spiritual sense and hopefully to inspire others. ~ Gerry Rafferty
Wanting To Inspire Others quotes by Gerry Rafferty
It was not that ladies were inferior to men; it was that they were different. Their mission was to inspire others to achievement rather than to achieve themselves. Indirectly, by means of tact and a spotless name, a lady could accomplish much. But if she rushed into the fray herself she would be first censured, then despised, and finally ignored. ~ E. M. Forster
Wanting To Inspire Others quotes by E. M. Forster
You are the indispensable agent of change. You should not be daunted by the magnitude of the task before you. Your contribution can inspire others, embolden others who are timid, to stand up for the truth in the midst of a welter of distortion, propaganda, and deceit; stand up for human rights where these are being violated with impunity; stand up for justice, freedom, and love where they are trampled underfoot by injustice, oppression, hatred, and harsh cruelty; stand up for human dignity and decency at times when these are in desperately short supply. God calls on us to be his partners to work for a new kind of society where people count; where people matter more than things, more than possessions; where human life is not just respected but positively revered; where people will be secure and not suffer from the ~ Desmond Tutu
Wanting To Inspire Others quotes by Desmond Tutu
People who cease to grow can't inspire others. Leadership begins with challenging
oneself. ~ Daisaku Ikeda
Wanting To Inspire Others quotes by Daisaku Ikeda
Beauty isn't what you see on TV or in magazine ads or even necessarily in art galleries. It's a lot deeper and a lot simpler than that. It's realizing the goodness of things, it's leaving the world a little better than it was before you got here. It's appreciating the inspiration of the world around you and trying to inspire others. ~ Charles De Lint
Wanting To Inspire Others quotes by Charles De Lint
Each one of us is finite, and if we can spread ourselves out in a way to inspire and help other people to be all they can be, I think that's so much more important than one person's glory. ~ Felicia Day
Wanting To Inspire Others quotes by Felicia Day
You control your own destiny. Never let anyone put you in a box and say 'This is your space'; You have the whole world to choose from. If you have something to say, say it. Live your life as you want to live it, not how others perceive your life to be lived. Take control. Today. ~ Michelle Geaney
Wanting To Inspire Others quotes by Michelle Geaney
I've an insatiable craving inside me that consumes everything and makes me regard the sufferings and joys of others only in their relationship to me, as food to sustain my spiritual powers. I am no longer capable of loosing my head in love, Ambition has been crushed in me by circumstances, but it has come out in another way, for ambition is nothing but a lust for power and my chief delight is to dominate those around me. To inspire in others love, devotion, fear - isn't that the first symptom and the supreme triumph of power? To cause another person suffering or joy, having no right to do so - isn't that the sweetest food of pride? ~ Mikhail Lermontov
Wanting To Inspire Others quotes by Mikhail Lermontov
Accept yourself, it will inspire others to do the same for themselves. ~ Desmond D. Green
Wanting To Inspire Others quotes by Desmond D. Green
Life should be like a good Tweet - short, pithy, convey a message and inspire others to follow. ~ Ashok Kallarakkal
Wanting To Inspire Others quotes by Ashok Kallarakkal
When you are living the best version of yourself, you inspire others to live the best versions of themselves. ~ Steve Maraboli
Wanting To Inspire Others quotes by Steve Maraboli
Making these choices [to attend school instead of skipping], as it turned out, wasn't about willpower. I always admired people who "willed" themselves to do something, because I have never felt I was one of them. If sheer will were enough by itself, it would have been enough a long time ago, back on University Avenue, I figured. It wasn't, not for me anyway. Instead, I needed something to motivate me. I needed a few things that I could think about in my moments of weakness that would cause me to throw off the blanket and walk through the front door. More than will, I needed something to inspire me.

One thing that helped was a picture I kept in mind, this image that I used over and over whenever I was faced with these daily choices. I pictured a runner running on a racetrack. The image was set in the summertime and the racetrack was a reddish orange, divided in white racing stripes to flag the runners' columns. Only, the runner in my mental image did not run alongside others; she ran solo, with no one watching her. And she did not run a free and clear track, she ran one that required her to jump numerous hurdles, which made her break into a heavy sweat under the sun. I used this image every time I thought of things that frustrated me: the heavy books, my crazy sleep schedule, the question of where I would sleep and what I would eat. To overcome these issues I pictured my runner bolting down the track, jumping hurdles toward the finish line.

Hunger, hurdle ~ Liz Murray
Wanting To Inspire Others quotes by Liz Murray
People followed him not because of his idea of a changed America. People followed him because of their idea of a changed America. The part of the brain that influences our behavior and decisions does not have the capacity for language. We have trouble saying clearly, in emotional terms, why we do what we do, and offer rationalizations that, though valid and true, are not powerful enough to inspire others. ~ Simon Sinek
Wanting To Inspire Others quotes by Simon Sinek
When others see you at peace, they're reminded of the value of tranquility - that is, you inspire them to be at peace. ~ Doreen Virtue
Wanting To Inspire Others quotes by Doreen Virtue
When you do your best and live out your dreams, you inspire others to do the same. ~ Demi Lovato
Wanting To Inspire Others quotes by Demi Lovato
Don't apologize for expressing passion.
Don't back down when it comes to your integrity.
Don't let anyone undermine your standards for the sake of ease.
Be a character of excellence, NOT excuses. ~ Janna Cachola
Wanting To Inspire Others quotes by Janna Cachola
Embrace the faith that every challenge surmounted by your energy; every problem solved by your wisdom; every soul stirred by your passion; and every barrier to justice brought down by your determination will ennoble your life, inspire others, serve your country, and explode outward the boundaries of what is achievable on this earth. ~ Madeleine Albright
Wanting To Inspire Others quotes by Madeleine Albright
fascination has little to do with what you say, and everything to do with what you inspire others to say about your message. Fascinating people, like fascinating companies, don't try to explain why they're fascinating. (Explaining to people why you're fascinating is about as effective as explaining to an employee why you deserve respect, ~ Sally Hogshead
Wanting To Inspire Others quotes by Sally Hogshead
It's a beautiful thing when you're at the place where you've fully embraced your adversities, lifted the cloak of perceived shame, and are using your story to inspire others. ~ Martika Shanel
