Now if you're using Twitter or other social networks, and you didn't realize this was a space with a lot of Brazilians in it, you're like most of us. Because what happens on a social network is you interact with the people that you have chosen to interact with. ~ Ethan Zuckerman

You can't get to wonderful without passing through alright. ~ Andrew Zuckerman

The Tale of Human Evolution

The subject most often brought up by advocates of the
theory of evolution is the subject of the origin of man.

The Darwinist claim holds that modern man evolved from ape-like
creatures. During this alleged evolutionary process, which is
supposed to have started 4-5 million years ago, some "transitional
forms" between modern man and his ancestors are
supposed to have existed. According to this completely
imaginary scenario, four basic "categories" are listed:

1. Australopithecus
2. Homo habilis
3. Homo erectus
4. Homo sapiens

Evolutionists call man's so-called first ape-like ancestors
Australopithecus, which means "South African ape."

These living beings are actually nothing but an old ape
species that has become extinct.

Extensive research done on various Australopithecus specimens by two world famous anatomists from England and the USA, namely,
Lord Solly Zuckerman and Prof. Charles Oxnard, shows
that these apes belonged to an ordinary ape species that
became extinct and bore no resemblance to humans.

Evolutionists classify the next stage of human evolution
as "homo," that is "man." According to their claim, the living
beings in the Homo series are more developed than
Australopithecus. Evolutionists devise a fanciful evolution
scheme by arranging different fossils of these creature ~ Harun Yahya

The unique danger today is the possibility that we may face longer-term stagnation as a consequence of relying too heavily on borrowed money. ~ Mortimer Zuckerman
Antek Zuckerman quotes by Mortimer Zuckerman
I like photography as a recording device. It's the best possible two-dimensional representation of 3D living things that we have. ~ Andrew Zuckerman
Antek Zuckerman quotes by Andrew Zuckerman
Curators are great, but they're inherently biased. Curators are always making an editorial decision. Those biases have really big implications. ~ Ethan Zuckerman
Antek Zuckerman quotes by Ethan Zuckerman
I am pretty geeky, yes. I like odd sub-culture activities, I am often socially inept, I wore glasses in high school. But I am a modern geek. ~ Josh Zuckerman
Antek Zuckerman quotes by Josh Zuckerman
If we need simple narratives so people can amplify and spread them, are we forced to engage only with the simplest of problems? ~ Ethan Zuckerman
Antek Zuckerman quotes by Ethan Zuckerman
when we compare these types of nations, we see that the religiosity/secularity correlation holds true the world over: the poorer, more chaotic, more troubled countries tend to be among the most religious, while the wealthier, more stable, more well-functioning countries tend to be among the most secular. ~ Phil Zuckerman
Antek Zuckerman quotes by Phil Zuckerman
The benefits and consequences of globalization have a great deal to do with whether we're intelligent and thoughtful about how we approach globalization, or whether we're blindly accepting ... or blindly resistant. ~ Ethan Zuckerman
Antek Zuckerman quotes by Ethan Zuckerman
On Twitter, if you want to quote someone else, you say, 'RT, re-tweet, that person's name, and then what they said before.' And it's a way of essentially saying, 'I'm not saying this, but my friend said this and I thought this was interesting.' ~ Ethan Zuckerman
Antek Zuckerman quotes by Ethan Zuckerman
Millions of public workers have become a kind of privileged new class - a new elite, who live better than their private sector counterparts. Public servants have become the public's masters. No wonder the public is upset. ~ Mortimer Zuckerman
Antek Zuckerman quotes by Mortimer Zuckerman
Engineering serendipity is this idea that we can help people come across unexpected but helpful connections at a better than random rate. And in some ways it's based on trying to reassess this notion of serendipitous as lucky - to think of serendipitous as smart. ~ Ethan Zuckerman
Antek Zuckerman quotes by Ethan Zuckerman
If you're from New Jersey," Nathan had said, "and you write thirty books, and you win the Nobel Prize, and you live to be white-haired and ninety-five, it's highly unlikely but not impossible that after your death they'll decide to name a rest stop for you on the Jersey Turnpike. And so, long after you're gone, you may indeed be remembered, but mostly by small children, in the backs of cars, when they lean forward and tell their parents, 'Stop, please, stop at Zuckerman - I have to make a pee.' For a New Jersey novelist that's as much immortality as it's realistic to hope for. ~ Philip Roth
Antek Zuckerman quotes by Philip Roth
You can make the case that slacktivism is important because it makes people feel affiliated to a movement and be part of it, and talk about it. ~ Ethan Zuckerman
Antek Zuckerman quotes by Ethan Zuckerman
Wikipedia is a victory of process over substance. ~ Ethan Zuckerman
Antek Zuckerman quotes by Ethan Zuckerman
Talking about 'stopping globalization' is unrealistic - and probably not what anti-globalization protesters actually want. ~ Ethan Zuckerman
Antek Zuckerman quotes by Ethan Zuckerman
Reddit, which calls itself 'The Front Page of the Internet,' is more influential in shaping Internet culture than its comparatively small reach would lead you to believe. ~ Ethan Zuckerman
Antek Zuckerman quotes by Ethan Zuckerman
one can never predict or foresee what lies ahead when it comes to humans and religion. ~ Phil Zuckerman
Antek Zuckerman quotes by Phil Zuckerman
For countries such as Kenya to emerge as economic powerhouses, they need better infrastructure: roads, ports, smart grids and power plants. Infrastructure is expensive, and takes a long time to build. In the meantime, hackers are building 'grassroots infrastructure,' using the mobile-phone system to build solutions that are ready for market. ~ Ethan Zuckerman
Antek Zuckerman quotes by Ethan Zuckerman
I've written this book to explore and illuminate the lives, values, and experiences of just such people, and to offer a glimpse at how we raise our kids with love, optimism, and a predilection for independence of thought, how we foster a practical, this-worldly morality based on empathy, how we employ self-reliance in the face of life's difficulties, how we handle and accept death as best we can, how and why we do or do not engage in a plethora of rituals and traditions, how we create various forms of community while still maintaining our proclivity for autonomy, and what it means for us to experience awe in the midst of this world, this time, this life. ~ Phil Zuckerman
Antek Zuckerman quotes by Phil Zuckerman
The founding fathers went out of their way to establish a clear "wall of separation" between religion and state, to quote Thomas Jefferson. They reasoned, as James Madison so cleverly articulated, that both religion and government exist in greater purity if kept apart. ~ Phil Zuckerman
Antek Zuckerman quotes by Phil Zuckerman
The Internet has become a bunch of interlinked but linguistically distinct and culturally specific spaces. There's some interface between them, but there's a lot less than there was years back when we were sort of pretending that this was one great global space. ~ Ethan Zuckerman
Antek Zuckerman quotes by Ethan Zuckerman
The music I play after dinner is not a relief from the silence but something like its substantiation: listening to music for an hour or two every evening doesn't deprive me of the silence - the music is the silence coming true. ~ Philip Roth
Antek Zuckerman quotes by Philip Roth
My own ongoing research among secular Americans-as well as that of a handful of other social scientists who have only recently turned their gaze on secular culture-confirms that nonreligious family life is replete with its own sustaining moral values and enriching ethical precepts. ~ Phil Zuckerman
Antek Zuckerman quotes by Phil Zuckerman
Natural erosion had reduced the critical barrier islands in the Gulf, the result of the destruction of some 300,000 acres of wetlands. This amounted to 30 miles of marshlands. ~ Mortimer Zuckerman
