Wow didn't begin to cover it. People lined up on two floors of the store to talk to Chris and get their books signed, hours before he was even scheduled to arrive. Syn forgot about his phone call and came to stand directly in front of Furi. "Go and pack a bag now. That crazy bitch is not going to get a second chance if I have anything to say about it."

"The hell I don't," Syn barked. "Your foolish pride will get you killed. Let's deal with her and then you're more than welcome to come home. Don't let your stubbornness make you an easy target, because that's just stupid."

Syn rolled his eyes in frustration. "Are you fuckin' kiddin' me? Furious we don't have time for this Mickey Mouse bullshit right now. Go get your shit and let's move." Syn went over to the only window in Furi's apartment and stood watch while Furi threw some clothes, toiletries, books and a laptop into a bag, grumbling curses the entire time.
