Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Stephen Hawking
Sometimes, I wonder .....

Are we all as identical on our way out of the Earth...like the way we all came into it?

If so, at what point do all our identities merge into a final whole?

Are we all nameless and blank at point Infinity? ~ Tina Sequeira
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Tina Sequeira
Sometimes I wonder about glue.
No one ever stops to ask glue how it's holding up. If it's tired of sticking things together or worried about falling apart or wondering how it will pay its bills next week. ~ Tahereh Mafi
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Tahereh Mafi
Like all high-Lammers, I am a lucky accident of birth, gifted with a talent that can be expanded by something as simple as a mineral. A mineral unfortunately rare and extremely addictive. This - this dust - rules our lives. Sometimes I wonder if it would be better had there been no magic at all. ~ Cat Hellisen
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Cat Hellisen
You know, sometimes I wonder what things would be like if I just ... met you one day. Like normal people do. If I just walked by you on some street one sunny morning and thought you were cute, stopped, shook your hand, and said, Hi, I'm Daniel. ~ Marie Lu
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Marie Lu
Just being near the water makes me ache for it, makes my skin tingle with the desire to run until I am chest-deep and the water wraps around my skin like a satin ribbon, making the worries, the aches, the stress unwind. Sometimes, I wonder if this is how a recovering alcoholic would feel if someone put a beer in her hand. If her body would wage war against her mind as mine does. ~ Mandy Hubbard
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Mandy Hubbard
Well I'm a-gonna raise a fuss, I'm gonna raise a holler
About workin' all summer just to try an' earn a dollar

I guess all old people feel like the world is coming to an end. ~ Neal Stephenson
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Neal Stephenson
I actually have two children now, and sometimes I wonder if that's it. Because they do make writing and directing more complicated and more difficult, especially now that they're very young. ~ Diablo Cody
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Diablo Cody
Sometimes I wonder if I'm going mad. Perhaps it is due to the pressure of knowing that I must somehow bear the burden of an entire world. Perhaps it is caused by the death I have seen, the friends I have lost. The friends I have been forced to kill. ~ Brandon Sanderson
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Brandon Sanderson
Sometimes I wonder if any of us are cut out for the lives we lead. ~ Rebecca Wells
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Rebecca Wells
Sometimes I think the fact that she died is the reason I'll never stop loving her. She wasn't around long enough for me to grow tired of her personality or her appearance. Every relationship seems to lead to that end. She said it herself. She left me just as my mind had perfected her. The prime condition of love...Sometimes I wonder if that's a good thing. I despise myself for thinking that. ~ Drew Magary
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Drew Magary
Weston chuckled, shaking his head. "Sometimes I wonder who's really in charge of this heap." "You are." Steph grinned. "And none of the rest of us want to take your place if you get your dumb ass killed, so bear with us, all right? ~ Evan Currie
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Evan Currie

Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Harper Sloan

Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Victoria Chang
Sometimes I wonder if I got lulled into not wanting things because I grew up black in this country. ~ Kevin Eubanks
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Kevin Eubanks
Real liars don't lie about anything," Hanna said. "They just lie. 'About' is a word liars use to justify their lying, to make it seem like a localized problem." "You've made quite a study," Grace said, trying to sound light and wry. "But I still don't know," Hanna said. "And that upsets me. With a liar, you can never know the whole truth, ever. You can't ever be sure that this version is the real version. There is no end, no bottom. Sometimes I wonder if the whole thing was a hoax. ~ Rebecca Scherm
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Rebecca Scherm

And to be honest, sometimes I wonder if they're right. ~ Jessica Brody
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Jessica Brody
Sometimes I wonder about depression, is it the fear of life or the fear of death?"

"Depression is the fear of senses and thoughts, only the prolonged passion can beat it, be it.. passion for life, life after death, or anything else which is something.. in particular!"

"But depression is not a fear, it gives you courage to end your life or to live hopelessly."

"Ending one's life is the easiest way to end a battle. Going with the flow is not an achievement, though. But leading a life with all of its fortunes, aspirations, ambitions, defeats, losses, and misfortunes is the real courage.. Only because you are eligible to live, you are granted the grace of life… You have it, you can manage it; that's the secret people refuse to believe. ~ Noha Alaa El-Din
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Noha Alaa El-Din
You like all animals at that moment, although no doubt you will one day choose your favorites. Your own nature will triumph. We are all born with our natures. You popped out of your mother's belly, I saw your eyes, and I knew that you were already you. And I think back over my own life and I realize that my own nature
the core me
essentially hasn't changed over all these years. When I wake up in the morning, for those first few moments before I remember where I am or when I am, I still feel the same way I did when I woke up at the age of five. Sometimes I wonder if natures can be changed at all of if we are stuck with them as surely as a dog wants bones or as a cat chases mice. ~ Douglas Coupland
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Douglas Coupland

Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Nikki Grimes

to take plenty and keep our mouths shut. ~ Tamora Pierce
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Tamora Pierce

Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Samuel Beckett

Sometimes I Wonder quotes by James Hillman

Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Kim Liggett

Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Graham Greene
Topaz was wonderfully patient - but sometimes I wonder if it is not only patience, but also a faint resemblance to cows. ~ Dodie Smith
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Dodie Smith

Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Eleanor Roosevelt
Sometimes I wonder whether, if I'd been the one that went for coffee and not Lesley May, my life would have been much less interesting and certainly much less dangerous. Could it have been anyone, or was it destiny? When I'm considering this I find it helpful to quote the wisdom of my father, who once told me, 'Who knows why the fuck anything happens?' Covent ~ Ben Aaronovitch
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Ben Aaronovitch
Sometimes I wonder about the Creator of the Universe. ~ Kurt Vonnegut
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Kurt Vonnegut
My Moms left the state and she doesn't stay in touch. Sometimes I wonder about her story, how she got to where she hated herself so much that she taught it to me. ~ Colette D. Winlock
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Colette D. Winlock
Sometimes I wonder if there's things we'll never explain. You know, like, you know, what if we did answer all the questions? You know, would we live on, like forever, happy with our triumph over ignorance? Or is ignorance just a common enemy that once destroyed, would leave our species without a reason to carry on? I guess it doesn't matter what the answer is...because even if supreme knowledge did bring about the end of our species, the thought of obtaining it is just what would keep us together. You know? People will always look up at the sky...and just wonder why we're here. WATER BISON POWERS, ACTIVATE! ~ Michael J. Caboose
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Michael J. Caboose
Sometimes I wonder. On the pathetic scale, where would I land? I know other kids my age would go to the mall if they cut school, but I'm off to the library. ~ Lynda Mullaly Hunt

That mirror, that's one I hate to let go, he said. That was my daughter's the whole time she was growing up. It probably seen her more than me
everything from a baby up to twenty years old. Sometimes I wonder if all that might still be inside it. Got to make an impression on a thing, reflecting the same person every day. ~ David Wroblewski
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by David Wroblewski
The boy I once was is a stranger to me, and sometimes I wonder if terrible experiences are enough to change a person - I mean fundamentally to change a person's nature - or if they merely subdue it, and it endures there beneath, and will reassert itself in time. I wonder if I will be recognized by my family. If those I love will still know me. ~ Peter Hobbs
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Peter Hobbs

Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Mary H.K. Choi
When my skin had gone back to its even tone I slept with another man and discovered, my hands lying awkwardly on the sheet at either side of me, that I had forgotten what to do with them. I'm responsible and an adult again, full time. What remains is that my sensation thermostat has been thrown out of whack; it's been years and sometimes I wonder whether my body will ever again register above lukewarm. ~ Elizabeth McNeill
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Elizabeth McNeill
Do you think you wear a mask?'

'I'm wearing one right now.' Valentino smiled softly. 'We both are.'

because everything we did in past was best from our side, well in case of both doing and thinking ... ~ Lovely Goyal
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Lovely Goyal
A lot of people who know about the view from the tip-top of a bridge or tall building are dead, because they climbed up in order to jump off. But sometimes I wonder if they truly planned on jumping or if the view was just so beautiful that they realized what a wide big net beauty is, and then wanted so badly to be caught by it. ~ Alissa Nutting
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Alissa Nutting
Sometimes I wonder if other people think about death - frequently, or just in general. I wonder if they think about it casually, like they're thinking of the weather, or if they think of it lying awake at night, haunted by their own thoughts. I wonder ... if they do think about it, do they ever think about their own death - the when, the how? ~ Courtney Carola
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Courtney Carola
MAULANA'S LAST LETTER TO SHAMS

Sometimes I wonder, sweetest love, if you
Were a mere dream in along winter night,
A dream of spring-days, and of golden light
Which sheds its rays upon a frozen heart;
A dream of wine that fills the drunken eye.

And so I wonder, sweetest love, if I
Should drink this ruby wine, or rather weep;
Each tear a bezel with your face engraved,
A rosary to memorize your name...

There are so many ways to call you back-
Yes, even if you only were a dream. ~ Jalaluddin Rumi
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Jalaluddin Rumi
Sometimes I wonder why God ever trusts talent in the hands of women, they usually make such an infernal mess of it. I think He must do it as a sort of ghastly joke. ~ Willa Cather
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Willa Cather

Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Catherine Doyle
It sometimes feels like a strange movie, you know, it's all so weird that sometimes I wonder if it is really happening ~ Eminem
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Eminem
Sometimes I wonder," Merlin declared, licking a bit of mustard off his upper lip, "where exactly does the food come from? Is there a fourth dimension where a magic hat goes to fetch it? Or does it simply summon turkeys and bread out of thin air? In which case, what is this sandwich really made of? ~ Soman Chainani
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Soman Chainani
Sometimes I wonder what the world would be like if we all got along. If there were no terrorism, Islamophobia, Western hypocrisy, corrupt government in African countries (especially Liberia), sexism, nativism, people like Donald Trump, stereotypes, war, Capitalism, Communism, Marxism and xenophobia. ~ Henry Johnson Jr
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Henry Johnson Jr
To hell with you. You just don't want to admit it. Those people, they're animals. They want to see someone's brains on the road, that's why they turn out. They'd just as soon see yours."
"That isn't the point," McVries said calmly. "Didn't you say you went to see the Long Walk when you were younger?"
"Yes, when I didn't know any better!"
"Well, that makes it okay, doesn't it?" McVries uttered a short, ugly-sounding laugh. "Sure they're animals. You think you just found out a new principle? Sometimes I wonder just how naive you really are. The French lords and ladies used to screw after the guillotinings. The old Romans used to stuff each other during the gladiatorial matches. That's entertainment, Garraty. It's nothing new." He laughed againd. Garraty stared at him, fascinated.
[...]
"Death is great for the appetites," McVries said. [...] "But even that's not the real point of this little expedition, Garraty. The point is, they're the smart ones. They're not getting thrown to the lions. They're not staggering along and hoping they won't have to take a shit with two warnings against them. You're dumb, Garraty. You and me and Pearson and Barkovitch and Stebbins, we're all dumb. Scramm's dumb because he thinks he understands and he doesn't. Olson's dumb because he understood too much too late. They're animals, all right. But why are you so goddam sure that makes us human beings?"
He paused, badly out of breath.
[...]
"Then why are you doi ~ Richard Bachman
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Richard Bachman
I don't know where dreams come from. Sometimes I wonder if they're genetic memories, or messages from something divine. Warnings perhaps. Maybe we do come with an instruction booklet but we're too dense to read it, because we've dismissed it as the irrational waste product of the 'rational' mind. Sometimes I think all the answers we need are buried in our slumbering subconscious, int he dreaming. The booklet right there, and ever night when we lay our heads down on the pillow it flips open. The wise read it, heed it. The rest of us try as hard as we can upon awakening to forget any disturbing revelations we might have found there. ~ Karen Marie Moning
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Karen Marie Moning
Sometimes I wonder how I'd tell this if I didn't have so many books rattling around inside me. The truth is both a vast wilderness and the tiniest space you can imagine. ~ Julie Buntin
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Julie Buntin
Sometimes I wonder what my interior actually is. A heart that goes pitter-patter and thoughts that glide by like little paper boats on flowing water, ~ Orhan Pamuk
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Orhan Pamuk
Sometimes I wonder if, having the ability to time travel back to certain moments in which our fear or impulsiveness got the best of us and resulted in an unsatisfying outcome, we would actually alter our behavior knowing what we know now, or if we would end up repeating exactly what we did the first time, surrendering to those elemental directives, incapable of deviating from some preordained essence of our character. ~ Teddy Wayne
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Teddy Wayne
POZZO: I woke up one fine day as blind as Fortune. Sometimes I wonder if I'm not still asleep.
VLADIMIR: And when was that?
POZZO: I don't know.
VLADIMIR: But no later than yesterday -
POZZO: Don't question me! The blind have no notion of time . The things of time are hidden from them too.
VLADIMIR: Well just fancy that! I could have sworn it was just the opposite. ~ Samuel Beckett
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Samuel Beckett
Sometimes I wonder if life is all about one moment. Everything before and everything after is about that one moment, and we are all stuck there. ~ Suzanne LaFleur
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Suzanne LaFleur
Am I forgiven yet?" he asked, kissing her back. She snorted. "That wasn't you making it up to me. That was you using orgasms to soften me up so I'd more easily forgive you. Sometimes I wonder how you live with yourself." He ~ Suzanne Wright
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Suzanne Wright
Life is so ridiculously clichéd sometimes I wonder why we bother living it when nothing is ever a surprise any more. ~ Holly Bourne
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Holly Bourne
I hope I can improve. I'm far from perfect. Sometimes, I wonder what would happen if I fought myself. I think it would be a one-round KO. But if I was fighting myself, I know I could take my best punch. No, make that two rounds. I would knock myself out in two rounds. ~ Mike Tyson
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Mike Tyson
Anxiety

I struggle with things that are as easy to others as breathing.

Like breathing. Like answering the phone. Or sending that email I have been meaning to for weeks.

I panic when I am asked out to dinner, even if it's with someone I really want to see.

It's hard for me to commit to anything, and when I do, I overthink it until my brain tells me I have made a mistake, like a rat caught in a maze, trying to claw its way out.

I don't know why I am like this. People ask me why I can't do anything without jumping through a thousand thoughts, like hoops. But sometimes I wonder if my inability to function in the real world is really such a bad thing. I wonder if that's why I've spent so much time sheltered in my imagination.

And because I can't live in the real world, I create worlds to belong to. And I wonder if the very thing I've always been told is my weakness, has all along, been my strength. ~ Lang Leav
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Lang Leav
Sometimes I wonder if we're all a little like Harold (a rooster). Real life carries on around us while we strut around in our own yards, thinking we're the ones in charge of things. ~ Suzanne Woods Fisher
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Suzanne Woods Fisher
Football is so barbaric. Sometimes I wonder what I was thinking by playing it. I feel almost like I escaped from boot camp. ~ Brian Bosworth
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Brian Bosworth
But sometimes I wonder if you are right and if all of our choices are remnants of all the choices we made before. As if decisions were shards from the bombs of our previous actions. ~ Daisy Johnson
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Daisy Johnson
It never gets easier, missing you. And sometimes I wonder if it ever will. ~ Heather Brewer
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Heather Brewer
Sometimes I wonder how I could have been so oblivious to the fact that proper treatment for pain is, well, not a bad thing. ~ Anna Hamilton
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Anna Hamilton
You wonder why I stay," I said. "Sometimes I wonder too. But I hate to think of a child, of anyone really, lying somewhere sick and scared, waiting for help that does not come. ~ Makiia Lucier
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Makiia Lucier
A recurrent question about photography is how much self expression it allows the photographer. There are two standard positions, each corresponding to a different location oh photographic skill. The opposition is neatly summed up in Bioy Casares's novel The Adventures of a Photographer in La Plata (1989). The hero Nicolasito Almanza declares: 'I am convinced that all of photography depends on the moment we press the release […] I believe that you're a photographer if you know exactly when to press the release.' In making this declaration he is responding to the opinion expressed by Mr Gruter, owner of a photographic laboratory: '[…] sometimes I wonder if the true work of the photographer doesn't begin in the dark room, amid the trays and the enlarger. ~ Clive Scott
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Clive Scott
eat, baby.
eat.
chew.
please.
I know it hurts. I know it doesn't feel good.
please.
I know your hunger is different than mine.
I know it doesn't taste the same as mine.
imagine you could grow up all over again
and pinpoint the millisecond that you started
counting calories like casualties of war,
mourning each one like it had a family.
would you?
sometimes I wonder that.
sometimes I wonder if you would go back
and watch yourself reappear and disappear right in front of your own eyes.
and I love you so much.
I am going to hold your little hand through the night.
just please eat. just a little.
you wrote a poem once,
about a city of walking skeletons.
the teacher called home because you
told her you wished it could be like that
here.
let me tell you something about bones, baby.
they are not warm or soft.
the wind whistles through them like they are
holes in a tree.
and they break, too. they break right in half.
they bruise and splinter like wood.
are you hungry?
I know. I know how much you hate that question.
I will find another way to ask it, someday.
please.
the voices.
I know they are all yelling at you to stretch yourself thinner.
l hear them counting, always counting.
I wish I had been there when the world made you
snap yourself in half.
I would have told you that your body is not ~ Caitlyn Siehl
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Caitlyn Siehl
Sometimes I wonder if he has a philosophy. Maybe even a worldview. I'd like to sit down with him and pick his brain, just a tiny bit somewhere in the frontal lobe to get a taste of his thoughts. But he's too much of a toughguy to ever be that vulnerable. - R on M ~ Isaac Marion
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Isaac Marion
They say that if you really want to kill yourself, no one can stop you. There are too many ways to do it. You can jump off a bridge or a building. You can hang yourself. You can crash a car or slit your wrists or swim out really far into the ocean until you drown. Sometimes I wonder why I'm not dead, if I really wanted to kill myself. ~ Albert Borris
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Albert Borris
Sometimes I wonder if gravity is the problem. It keeps us all grounded, gives us this false sense of stability when really we're all just bodies in motion. ~ Jasmine Warga
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Jasmine Warga

Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Cesar Romero

Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Dwight D. Eisenhower
Sometimes I wonder why I'm not working at McDonald's and how come I have the life I have. I don't know. But I'm happy that I have these choices. That's kinda sappy, huh? But whatever, acting beats pumping gas. ~ Rachel True
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Rachel True
Contemplations on the belly
When pregnant with our first, Dean and I attended a child birth class. There were about 15 other couples, all 6-8 months pregnant, just like us. As an introduction, the teacher asked us to each share what had been our favorite part of pregnancy and least favorite part. I was surprised by how many of the men and women there couldn't name a favorite part. When it was my turn, I said, "My least favorite has been the nausea, and my favorite is the belly."

We were sitting in the back of the room, so it was noticeable when several heads turned to get a look at me. Dean then spoke. "Yeah, my least favorite is that she was sick, and my favorite is the belly too."

Now nearly every head turned to gander incredulously at the freaky couple who actually liked the belly.

Dean and I laughed about it later, but we were sincere. The belly is cool. It is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, an unmistakable sign of what's going on inside, the wigwam for our little squirmer, the mark of my undeniable superpower of baby-making. I loved the belly and its freaky awesomeness, and especially the flutters, kicks, and bumps from within.

Twins belly is a whole new species. I marvel at the amazing uterus within and skin without with their unceasing ability to stretch (Reed Richards would be impressed). I still have great admiration for the belly, but I also fear it. Sometimes I wonder if I should build a shrine to it, ~ Shannon Hale
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Shannon Hale
Sometimes I wonder if it's because you spent so long lost that you must insist on bringing every lost thing home. ~ Seanan McGuire
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Seanan McGuire
Sometimes I wonder if the human race isn't collectively as mad as a sack of door knobs. ~ Jasper Fforde
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Jasper Fforde
Merc: Sometimes I wonder if you just encourage trouble, like by running DELIBERATELY into the blues.
Faith: Maybe, it's cute the way they try to catch me.
Merc: Yeah, well, I hear the bullet. And you CAN'T outrun those.
Faith: But i CAN outthink the brain behind the gun. That's half the battle.
Merc: See, occasionally, just occasionally i actually think you listen to me. ~ Rhianna Pratchett
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Rhianna Pratchett

Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Arthur Bradford

Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Max Lucado
Sometimes I wonder if I would've been more successful if I wasn't acting and I concentrated on other things. But I love being on set. I love working with my 100 crew members. ~ Danny Masterson
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Danny Masterson
Alcohol ruined me financially and morally, broke my heart and the hearts of too many others. Even though it did this to me and it almost killed me and I haven't touched a drop of it in seventeen years, sometimes I wonder if I could get away with drinking some now. I totally subscribe to the notion that alcoholism is a mental illness because thinking like that is clearly insane. ~ Craig Ferguson
Sometimes I Wonder quotes by Craig Ferguson
