It is said that there exist parallel worlds in which all other possible realities occur. Every decision we could ever make exists as a unique reality in which that decision is made. Of course you can imagine that the possibilities existing for any single person are immense. But what about the facts? What really happens. Since this really depends on others, what you get is ... it.
Limited.
It.
This is it. ~ Stephen Demone
Single Person quotes by Stephen Demone
Every single person. Regardless of their sin struggle. ~ Karen Kingsbury
Single Person quotes by Karen Kingsbury
When a king sets himself to bandy against the highest court and residence of all regal powers, he then, in the single person of a man, fights against his own majesty and kingship. ~ John Milton
Single Person quotes by John Milton
The arrow shot by the archer may or may not kill a single person. But stratagems devised by wise men can kill even babes in the womb. ~ Kautilya
Single Person quotes by Kautilya
If you based your knowledge of the human species exclusively on adverts, you'd think that the normal condition of humanity was to be a good-looking single person between 20 and 35, with excellent muscle-definition and/or an excellent figure, and a large disposable income. ~ Francis Spufford
Single Person quotes by Francis Spufford
I don't think I have ever met a single person who isn't moved by music of some kind. ~ Lesley Garrett
Single Person quotes by Lesley Garrett
The ethic of ecstasy is the opposite of the trial's ethic; under its protection everybody does whatever he wants: now anyone can suck his thumb as he likes, from infancy to graduation, and it is a freedom no one will be willing to give up; look around you on the Metro; seated or standing, every single person has a finger in some orifice of his face-in the ear, in the mouth, in the nose; no one feels he's being observed, and everyone dreams of writing a book to tell about his unique and inimitable self, which is picking its nose; no one listens to anyone else, everyone writes, and each of them writes the way rock is danced to: alone, for himself, focused on himself yet making the same motions as all the others. In this situation of uniform egocentricity, the sense of guilt does not play the role it once did; the tribunals still operate, but they are fascinated exclusively by the past; they see only the core of the century; they see only the generations that are old or dead. ~ Milan Kundera
Single Person quotes by Milan Kundera
I can't look at a stranger's face and think, She's smiling just like Amy. When Amy smiles like that she's happy, so this person is probably happy, too. Instead, I watch and evaluate, with a slightly anxious feeling. It's as if I have to build a behavior database for every single person I meet in life. When I encounter someone for the first time, the slate is blank and I don't know what to expect. ~ John Elder Robison
Single Person quotes by John Elder Robison
Not a single person is born in the world who has not a certain capacity which will make him proud, who is not pregnant with something to produce, to give birth to something new and beautiful, to make the existence richer. There is not a single person who has come into the world empty. Osho ~ Steve Chandler
Single Person quotes by Steve Chandler
Normally, I think the people you would use on your first film, it would be a real struggle to bring them with you onto your television show. I just brought every single person with and expanded my little indie film world. ~ Jill Soloway
Single Person quotes by Jill Soloway
Visualize the conversations your friends have about how they all knew you'd never be able to make it. Imagine having to explain quitting to every single person who knew you were going to BUD/S. You have to face them. You have to live with many of them. Imagine trying to find a way to overcome the shame of failing. How long is it going to take for them to stop thinking of you as a failure, a quitter, a pussy? How long until anyone takes anything you say seriously again? Visualize being sent to a crappy ship, an undesignated Seaman. Imagine, if you will, a life below deck where you spend 18 hours chipping paint and repainting the spot you chipped. Imagine not seeing the sun for days or weeks at a time. This picture is worse than anything in BUD/S. Experience the shame and humiliation of quitting once in your head. Feel how much you hate yourself for giving up on your dream. Then never, ever, ever experience it in real life. ~ Mark Owens
Single Person quotes by Mark Owens
There's so many variables in comedy. Comedy is not this thing that's a performance like a play. It's really an interaction with every single person in the room. And if there's a weirdness in the room for any people, be it something the comedians did at the top of the set or be it the mixture of the people isn't right, something can go awry. So it's really great to see you proven wrong about someone. ~ B. J. Porter
Single Person quotes by B. J. Porter
Only people who've been discriminated against can really know how much it hurts. Each person feels the pain in his own way, each has his own scars. So I think I'm as concerned about fairness and justice as anybody. But what disgusts me even more are people who have no imagination. The kind T. S. Eliot calls hollow men. People who fill up that lack of imagination with heartless bits of straw, not even aware of what they're doing. Callous people who throw a lot of empty words at you, trying to force you to do what you don't want to. Like that lovely pair we just met." He sighs and twirls the long slender pencil in his hand. "Gays, lesbians, straights, feminists, fascist pigs, communists, Hare Krishnas-- none of them bother me. I don't care what banner they raise. But what I can't stand are hollow people. When I'm with them I just can't bear it, and wind up saying things I shouldn't. With those women--I should've just let it slide, or else called Miss Saeki and let her handle it. She would have given them a smile and smoothed things over. But I just can't do "do that. I say things I shouldn't, do things I shouldn't do. I can't control myself. That's one of my weak points. Do you know why that's a weak point of mine?"
"'Cause if you take every single person who lacks much imagination seriously, there's no end to it," I say. ~ Haruki Murakami
Single Person quotes by Haruki Murakami
It took me years to stop feeling the guilt she made sure I kept feeling about what happened with him. He is a sick person that molests children, but I felt so bad about it for so long. I couldn't talk to a single person about any of this. No one. And she made me feel so bad about it all that I felt I shouldn't talk about it, even if there was someone. I felt ashamed and thought I was an awful person. Sometimes I still do. My mother abandoned me in the worst ways possible. ~ Ashly Lorenzana
Single Person quotes by Ashly Lorenzana
Allan said that they would all turn up soon. And then he ended with some encouraging words about how he thought that there wasn't a single person in the world who had gone so far with such a limited intelligence as Amanda had done. And Amanda thought that was so beautifully said, that tears came to her eyes. ~ Jonas Jonasson
Single Person quotes by Jonas Jonasson
Galileo , perhaps more than any other single person, was responsible for the birth of modern science. ~ Stephen Hawking
Single Person quotes by Stephen Hawking
The compulsion to find a lover and husband in a single person has doomed more women to misery than any other illusion. ~ Carolyn Heilbrun
Single Person quotes by Carolyn Heilbrun
For the vision of a novelist is both complex and specialised; complex, because behind his characters and apart from them must stand something stable to which he relates them; specialised because since he is a single person with one sensibility the aspects of life in which he can believe with conviction are strictly limited ~ Virginia Woolf
Single Person quotes by Virginia Woolf
So dispatched, Aristagoras traveled to Athens - the most powerful city in Greece. Here he changed tactics: instead of speaking with the ruler, he addressed the crowd (in accordance with another of Herodotus's rules, that it seems to be easier to fool a crowd than a single person) and appealed directly to the Athenians to help the Ionians. ~ Ryszard Kapuscinski
Single Person quotes by Ryszard Kapuscinski
To die is not to play a part in society; it is the act of a single person. Let us live and laugh among our friends; let us die and sulk among strangers. ~ Michel De Montaigne
Single Person quotes by Michel De Montaigne
The greed of a single person must never be allowed to subvert the function of government so that one person's profit can be achieved at the expense of many. ~ Rocco Leonard Martino
Single Person quotes by Rocco Leonard Martino
That out of everyone in the world, I can't think of a single person I'd rather spend my literal dying moments with than you. ~ Justin A. Reynolds
Single Person quotes by Justin A. Reynolds
People talk about hard work all the time in places like Middletown. You can walk through a town where 30 percent of the young men work fewer than twenty hours a week and find not a single person aware of his own laziness. ~ J.D. Vance
Single Person quotes by J.D. Vance
To Do Start with a conversation - a "stay interview." Learn about your talented employees' goals and what they love (or don't love) about their work. Don't stop with one chat. Talk (and listen!) daily, weekly, monthly. Develop a true relationship with every single person you hope to keep on your team. Hold "Alas Clinics" - opportunities to talk with others about talented people who have left your team lately. Why did they go? What role (if any) did you play in their leaving? How can you prevent more unwanted turnover? Think about who might be "loose in the saddle" (about ready to leave you); talk with them soon, and collaborate with them to get more of what they want and need from you, from the team, from their jobs. Go big picture. Ask yourself, "What kind of work environment do I want to create?" Then figure out what you need to do in order to make that vision come alive. Then - go do it! ~ Beverly Kaye
Single Person quotes by Beverly Kaye
You can decide to invade Russia at dinner, pick Waterloo for battle on a whim. It's the details, the small stuff. Its easy to gamble a million lives. Whats hard is to see how that can hurt one single person. And if you cant keep that straight, hell, you'll lose your humanity. ~ Dwight D. Eisenhower
Single Person quotes by Dwight D. Eisenhower
The world is changeable, and its ability to change is so fragile that a single person can be responsible for it. ~ A.J. Darkholme
Single Person quotes by A.J. Darkholme
One of my biggest influences as a writer is J. K. Rowling. I grew up with Harry Potter. One thing I absolutely loved was how every single person in Harry's world was so three-dimensional - it was as if each one was the main character in his or her own story and was just making a guest appearance in Harry's story. I strive to do that as a writer. I want every side character to be the main character of his or her own story. ~ Angie Thomas
Single Person quotes by Angie Thomas
I don't believe in that term 'self-made' - not to be offensive, but I believe everything happens for a reason, every single person you meet. Even if it's one single person giving you advice, that person helped you get to where you're at today. ~ Michelle Phan
Single Person quotes by Michelle Phan
All our lives we fought against exalting the individual, against the elevation of the single person, and long ago we were over and done with the business of a hero, and here it comes up again: the glorification of one personality. This is not good at all. ~ Vladimir Lenin
Single Person quotes by Vladimir Lenin
I don't know a single person who is not immersed in the digital universe. Even people who are strongly anti-technology are probably voicing that view on a Web site somewhere. Third-world villagers without electricity have cellphones. ~ George Dyson
Single Person quotes by George Dyson
Until a few years ago, a man who had no debts was considered virtuous, honest, and hardworking. Today, he's an extraterrestrial. Whoever does not owe, does not exist. I owe, therefore I am. Whoever is not credit-worthy deserves neither name nor face. The credit card is proof of the right to exist; debt, something even those who have nothing have. Every single person or country that belongs to this world has at least one foot caught in this trap. ~ Eduardo Galeano
Single Person quotes by Eduardo Galeano
It takes more to make one sage today than it did to make the seven of Greece. And you need more resources to deal with a single person these days than with an entire nation in times past. ~ Baltasar Gracian
Single Person quotes by Baltasar Gracian
I don't want my decisions to be about what will make me more appealing to the opposite sex. I want my decisions to be about making a difference, being a good person."
"You do care," he said flatly. "Everyone cares. Every single person on his earth wants to be desired, wants to be wanted."
"Okay, let me rephrase then. I don't want to care. I strive to not care. ~ Penny Reid
Single Person quotes by Penny Reid
We reserve the right to make fun of every single person on planet Earth. ~ Mark Hoppus
Single Person quotes by Mark Hoppus
My original concept was to provide a free encyclopedia for every single person in the world. ~ Jimmy Wales
Single Person quotes by Jimmy Wales
I'm very much in favor of focused responsibility, and so in the main areas that I'm worried about, I try to have a single person who is basically the key person in that area. ~ Warren Christopher
Single Person quotes by Warren Christopher
Mostly she just missed Vaughn. Missed all those quiet, unspectacular moments that, when added up, showed how entwined their lives had become. And right now, she missed being able to phone him, because it would be so easy to tap in the eleven digits that would put his voice on the line. 'Grace, about bloody time,' he'd say, and make it sound like an endearment.

But she couldn't call Vaughn, because she'd left him. Which was a novelty, until Grace remembered that he'd have left her eventually if she hadn't done it first. She was never the one. She was never even the one before the one. She was the girl who seemed like a good idea at the time, but ultimately was just a phase that people went through.

That was the way it had always been. Friends and lovers came and went because there was something about her which repelled them, and she didn't have a clue what it was. It was a mystery that she couldn't solve on her own, and there wasn't a single person in the world who could help . . . ~ Sarra Manning
Single Person quotes by Sarra Manning
You can't run a government from one single person. What instead matters is that leadership be about gathering around extraordinary individuals and getting the best out of them. ~ Justin Trudeau
Single Person quotes by Justin Trudeau
As we get older ... I don't know a single person who has devoted their life to musical theatre who hasn't had a couple of misses as well as a bunch of hits. The misses, we learn a great deal from them. ~ Maury Yeston
Single Person quotes by Maury Yeston
It's like people you see sometimes, and you can't imagine what it would be like to be that person, whether it's somebody in a wheelchair or somebody who can't talk. Only, I know that I'm that person to other people, maybe to every single person in that whole auditorium.
To me, though, I'm just me. An ordinary kid. ~ R.J. Palacio
Single Person quotes by R.J. Palacio
People are building the software and so having the pieces be such that a single person understands all the tradeoffs and everything that's going on in a piece is extremely valuable. It avoids getting into an experimental mode where you're just trying things out. That never works. ~ Bill Gates
Single Person quotes by Bill Gates
In 2009, it was forecast that the number of single-person households would increase by two million in 10 years, suggesting that social isolation will only get worse. ~ Bee Wilson
Single Person quotes by Bee Wilson
The strategy of finite players is to kill a state by killing the people who invented it. Infinite players, however, understanding war to be a conflict between states, conclude that states can have only states as enemies; they cannot have persons as enemies. "Sometimes it is possible to kill a state without killing a single one of its members; and war gives no right which is not necessary to the gaining of its object" (Rousseau). For infinite players, if it is possible to wage a war without killing a single person, then it is possible to wage war only without killing a single person. ~ James P. Carse
Single Person quotes by James P. Carse
You watch Bono in a room - and we're talking about a room of thousands swarming around him - he'll take every single person and make that moment about them. You can pat him on the back or pull his arm, he's not looking away from the person he's talking to. ~ George Stroumboulopoulos
Single Person quotes by George Stroumboulopoulos
The DID patient should be seen as a whole adult person with the identities sharing responsibility for daily life. Despite patients' subjective experience of separateness, clinicians must keep in mind that the patient is a single person and generally must hold the whole person (i.e., system of alternate identities) responsible for the behavior of any or all of the constituent identities, even in the presence of amnesia or the sense of lack of control or agency over behavior.
From p8
International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation. (2011). Guidelines for treating dissociative identity disorder in adults, third revision: Summary version. Journal of Trauma & Dissociation, 12, 188–212. ~ James A. Chu
Single Person quotes by James A. Chu
Like most girls, I want a lot. Fame and fortune. Equal rights. Shoes no one else has. But I'd trade all that in for the perfect guy. (Don't tell me there's something wrong with that. I don't know of a single person who doesn't spend most of her time thinking about love.) Anyway, ever since I could think, I have been imagining and reimagining the exact sort of boy I want to love and who would love me back. Basically, I imagine someone who has all the good attributes of the male species and whose bad ones wouldn't ruin my life. ~ Sarah Miller
Single Person quotes by Sarah Miller
I managed 26 years and found out when I retired I didn't own the game. I thought I owned it when I was managing all those years. You can climb to the top of the mountain, get down on your knees and kiss the ground, because you'll never own that mountain. That mountain is only owned by one single person, and he'll never give it up. That's the way baseball is. ~ Sparky Anderson
Single Person quotes by Sparky Anderson
I don't want to be called Hope or Sky or Princess or anything else that separates me from any other part of myself. I'm suddenly feeling like I'm completely different people, wrapped into one. Someone who doesn't know who she is or where she belongs, and it's disturbing. I've never felt so isolated in my life; like there isn't a single person in this entire world I can trust. Not even myself. I can't even trust my own memories. ~ Colleen Hoover
Single Person quotes by Colleen Hoover
When you're struggling with something, look at all the people around you and realize that every single person you see is struggling with something, and to them, it's just as hard as what you're going through. ~ Nicholas Sparks
Single Person quotes by Nicholas Sparks
What if I told you every single person in America - every single person on Earth - is African? With a small scrape of cells from the inside of anyone's cheek, the science of genetics can even prove it. ~ Spencer Wells
Single Person quotes by Spencer Wells
Not everybody reads poetry or listens to music, but every single person in the world gets up in the morning and puts on something, and whether you like it or not, that's a statement about who you are. ~ Dana Thomas
Single Person quotes by Dana Thomas
I'm thrilled by the fact that I made something out of nothing. There it is! It wasn't there before: there it is - I made it! That's pretty powerful, and that's the power that Buddhists give to every single person. ~ Laurie Anderson
Single Person quotes by Laurie Anderson
Most people think the scariest thing is knowing that you're going to die. It's not. It's knowing you might have to watch every single person you've ever loved – or even liked – waste away while you just stand there. ~ Megan Crewe
Single Person quotes by Megan Crewe
You must dedicate your whole life to this idea: you are the caretaker of every single person on this ship. They are your responsibility.
You can never show weakness in front of them: you are their strength.
You can never let them see you in despair: you are their hope.
You must always be everything to everyone on board. ~ Beth Revis
Single Person quotes by Beth Revis
In a world where every single person -good or bad- has a voice, I hope you pick up your pen and use yours. ~ Sarah Andersen
Single Person quotes by Sarah Andersen
I think people should get married at the courthouse without a single person present and no fanfare whatsoever. Then, if the couple makes it to ten years, they should have a big party. The whole shebang, white dress, flowers, cake of their dreams. After ten years they'd deserve it. ~ Ann Wertz Garvin
Single Person quotes by Ann Wertz Garvin
What made Jules extraordinary though, was that her heart was made of the most curious fabric. It could bend and stretch to fit every single person she met. ~ Fisher Amelie
Single Person quotes by Fisher Amelie
Imagine a world in which no writer has written a literary novel in sixty years. Imagine a place where not a single person has read a book that is truly about the character at its center. ~ Adam Johnson
Single Person quotes by Adam Johnson
If a single person dies, the revolution has been lost. ~ Marty Rubin
Single Person quotes by Marty Rubin
Pretend that every single person you meet has a sign around his or her neck that says, "Make me feel important." Not only will you succeed in sales, you will succeed in life. ~ Mary Kay Ash
Single Person quotes by Mary Kay Ash
Lucy is not one or the other, pure or dirty. Lucy
is Lucy. She could swim in a sewer, have sex with every single person in the world, and she would still never be dirty. I hate him for trying to tell her she
could be. ~ Katie Henry
Single Person quotes by Katie Henry
These are people whose names are lost to history, but when you have that kind of encounter, somehow you get a whole new perspective on what's of value and how to behave in the face of oppression, and the strength that any single person or a group of people can bring with their own will. ~ Clara Bingham
Single Person quotes by Clara Bingham
Once we have found ourselves, we must understand how from time to time to lose
and then to find
ourselves once again: assuming, that is, that we are thinkers. For a thinker it is a drawback to be bound to a single person all the time. ~ Friedrich Nietzsche
Single Person quotes by Friedrich Nietzsche
To share our independence, to me, is synonym with "maturity". Maturity means the combination of courage - to do something - and consideration - to stop doing that when it's required. Kind of like the gas and brake in a vehicle.
"To depend on Love isn't the same as to depend on a single person to feel that connection towards Love. The more Love that flows through any given relationship, the more love that can flow towards other relationships, in contrast, a lack of Love in a relationship calls us to look out for anything else that could make us feel connected, feel accepted.
"Most people aren't ready for the kind of commitment and dedication required to 'merge' in someone else while retaining their individuality, and after a very short time, they feel suffocated and abandon such relationship.
"In order to identify when we are receiving this energy from a particular - limited - individual, or when it is coming from Source, the Love that flows from Source is unlimited and increases constantly, whilst the other one needs constant recharge to continue to function. It's as clear as the difference between sunlight and a torchlight. ~ Nityananda Das
Single Person quotes by Nityananda Das
Every person has their own unique circumstances to overcome, but every single person has the opportunity to achieve anything - and change everything. ~ Rhonda Byrne
Single Person quotes by Rhonda Byrne
When you are struggling with something, look around at everyone else and realize that every single person you see is struggling with something, and to them, it's just as hard as what you're going through. We are all struggling. ~ Jose N Harris
Single Person quotes by Jose N Harris
A true leader is one who creates a favourable environment to bring out the energy and ability of his team. A great leader creates more great leaders, and does not reduce the institution to a single person. ~ Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum
Single Person quotes by Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum
Leroy's reasoning is dry as a razor, and Chantal agrees: love as an exaltation of two individuals, love as fidelity, passionate attachment to a single person - no, that doesn't exist. And if it does exist, it is only as self-punishment, willful blindness, escape into a monastery. She tells herself that even if it does exist, love ought not to exist, and the idea does not maker her bitter, on the contrary, it produces a bliss that spreads throughout her body. She thinks of the metaphor of the rose that moves through all men and tells herself that she has been living locked away by love and now she is ready to obey the myth of the rose and merge with its giddy fragrance. ~ Milan Kundera
Single Person quotes by Milan Kundera
We do it for those tiny moments when the world opens up and we're no longer alone. Those moments when we realize that we aren't the center of the universe, but to one single person, we're their entire existence. We are what they live for and we matter to them more than anything. No matter how hard we get knocked down, we stand back up, and we face the darkness that's inside us and we raise our fist at it and tell it, not today. You won't have me yet. I won't let you take that last bit of my soul. ~ Sherrilyn Kenyon
Single Person quotes by Sherrilyn Kenyon
Even if we didn't have a single person in the USA in violation of immigration laws, we'd still have to do immigration reform, because our legal immigration system is broken. It's not good for anybody. ~ Marco Rubio
Single Person quotes by Marco Rubio
You know, I get it. Being raised as a superstar must be really, really difficult for you. Always a commodity, never a human being, not a single person in your family thinking you're worth a damn off the court - yeah, sounds rough. Kevin and I talk about your intricate and endless daddy issues all the time. I know it's not entirely your fault that you are mentally unbalanced and infected with these delusions of grandeur, and I know you're physically incapable of holding a decent conversation with anyone like every other normal human being can, but I don't think any of us should have to put up with this much of your bullshit. Pity only gets you so many concessions, and you used yours up about six insults ago. So please, please, just shut the fuck up and leave us alone. ~ Nora Sakavic
Single Person quotes by Nora Sakavic
I have yet to meet a single person from our culture, no matter what his or her educational background, IQ, and specific training, who had powerful transpersonal experiences and continues to subscribe to the materialistic monism of Western science. ~ Albert Einstein
Single Person quotes by Albert Einstein
There is not a single person who cannot easily reach the highest degree of perfection by performing every duty, no matter how commonplace, with eager love. ~ Jean-Pierre De Caussade
Single Person quotes by Jean-Pierre De Caussade
Great change always comes down to the actions of a single person. ~ Michael Scott
Single Person quotes by Michael Scott
My social circle is, in reality, not a circle. It is a pyramid. And at the top of the pyramid is a single person - Jacob - who is responsible for an overwhelming majority of the relationships that constitute my life. ~ Malcolm Gladwell
Single Person quotes by Malcolm Gladwell
I have learned a great deal from other Witches, Wiccans, Odinists, Voodoo and Hoodou practitioners, Druids and many others who consider themselves Pagan. The one common thread is that every single person has been nonjudgmental. Isn't this what it's all about, acceptance? Are we not here to design our own spiritual path?
Icinia ~ Arin Murphy-Hiscock
Single Person quotes by Arin Murphy-Hiscock
Trust to some was placing all your insecurities and beliefs in one single person, and hoping he or she wouldn't squash them. ~ Holly Hood
Single Person quotes by Holly Hood
Every single person on the planet is rewarded for one thing and one thing only, and that is for serving other people. The more you serve others, the higher your reward. ~ Larry Winget
Single Person quotes by Larry Winget
I never understood who all those people are behind the actors! When you see them on the red carpet on TV, you go, 'Why does that person need such a large entourage?' And then you realize that every single person there has a role to play. ~ Lupita Nyong'o
Single Person quotes by Lupita Nyong'o
The fault, in their view, lay with no single person, but with the middle class composition of the colony, which, feeling itself imperiled, had acted instinctively, as an organism, to extrude the riffraff from its midst. ~ Mary McCarthy
Single Person quotes by Mary McCarthy
I believe in love. And beauty. I believe that every single person has something they find beautiful and that they truly love. The smell of their child's hair, the silence of a forest, their lover's crooked grin. Their country, their religion, their family. And I believe that if you follow this love all the way to its end, if you start with the thing you find most beautiful and trace it's perfume back to its essence, you will perceive an intangible presence, a swath of stillness that allows the thing you love to be visible like the openness of the sky reveals the presence of the moon. ~ Geneen Roth
Single Person quotes by Geneen Roth
The most amazing thing for me is that every single person who sees a movie, not necessarily one of my movies, brings a whole set of unique experiences. Now, through careful manipulation and good storytelling, you can get everybody to clap at the same time, to hopefully laugh at the same time, and to be afraid at the same time. ~ Steven Spielberg
Single Person quotes by Steven Spielberg
Right. So what don't get is why everyone is mad at me, instead of realising that I am the one who has been wronged here. Not a single person has come up to me and said,"I'm really sorry this happened to you." Not one person. ~ Julie Buxbaum
Single Person quotes by Julie Buxbaum
It is not possible for a single person to be working outstanding miracles, signs and wonders which millions of other Nigerians cannot do and for such a person to be an agent of Satan. They - the God's generals - should combine forces and deliver such a satanic person or get rid of him. ~ T. B. Joshua
Single Person quotes by T. B. Joshua
It doesn't matter if you're black, white, gay, straight, come from different countries, different language ... every single person is significant and is meaningful. ~ Michael Franti
Single Person quotes by Michael Franti
Love [is] supposed to move mountains, to make the world go round, to be all you need, but it [falls] apart at the deatils. It [can't] save a single person. ~ Jodi Picoult
Single Person quotes by Jodi Picoult
The ultimate trick is to convince, persuade. Every single person out there is an idiot, but collectively they're a genius. ~ Billy Wilder
Single Person quotes by Billy Wilder
Every person has many identities, and experiences those identities in unique ways, depending on location, time, and the rest of who they are. Not only can a single person experience both oppression and privilege, most of us do! Being able to accept and present that reality, being both privileged and oppressed, helps others see the complexity of both issues, and creates some wiggle room for a productive dialogue. ~ Sam Killermann
Single Person quotes by Sam Killermann
To create and distribute a free encyclopedia of the highest possible quality to every single person on the planet in their own language - That's who I am. That's what I am doing. That's my life goal. ~ Jimmy Wales
Single Person quotes by Jimmy Wales
Being tough isn't in and of itself a bad thing. Looking back on it, though, I can see I was too used to being strong, and never tried to understand those who were weak. I was too used to being fortunate, and didn't try to understand those less fortunate. Too used to being healthy, and didn't try to understand the pain of those who weren't. Whenever I saw a person in trouble, somebody paralyzed by events, I decided it was entirely his fault––he just wasn't trying hard enough. People who complained were just plain lazy. My outlook on life was unshakable, and practical, but lacked any human warmth. And not a single person around me pointed this out.'" - Miu ~ Haruki Murakami
Single Person quotes by Haruki Murakami
I wanna hear it, I wanna hear it from each and every one of you. I wanna hear it from the kids, the men, the women. I wanna hear it from every single person in this arena. I want you to stand up out of your seat, I want you to get up and do what you should have done a long time ago! I want you to admit that you were wrong! All of you! You all were wrong! Each and every single one of you! I made it! ~ The Miz
Single Person quotes by The Miz
Every single person, pretty much, is taught what they're supposed to do: go to school, get a job, find someone to love, get married, have kids, raise the kids, and then die. Nobody questions that. What if you want to do something different? ~ Aziz Ansari
Single Person quotes by Aziz Ansari
There is not a single person in the national defense apparatus of this country that can guarantee you are going to be 100 percent right. And that's why as president, I'll take this very seriously. ~ Marco Rubio
Single Person quotes by Marco Rubio
I choose to surround myself with happy human beings. I went through the angsty period. I think every single person does. I think it's a rite of passage to hate the world and feel like the victim. ~ Shailene Woodley

Anonymous is like an amoeba: it's got too many different operations run by truly different people which might not share a single person with another operation, but they use the same branding - they are part of the Anonymous brand, just like al-Qaida. ~ Mikko Hypponen
Single Person quotes by Mikko Hypponen
To see how we separate, we first have to examine how we get together.
Friendships begin with interest. We talk to someone. They say something interesting and we have a conversation about it. However, common interests don't create lasting bonds. Otherwise, we would become friends with everyone with whom we had a good conversation. Similar interests as a basis for friendship doesn't explain why we become friends with people who have completely different interests than we do.

In time, we discover common values and ideals. However, friendship through common values and ideals doesn't explain why atheists and those devout in their faith become friends. Vegans wouldn't have non-vegan friends. In the real world, we see examples of friendships between people with diametrically opposed views. At the same time, we see cliques form in churches and small organizations dedicated to a particular cause, and it's not uncommon to have cliques inside a particular belief system dislike each other.

So how do people bond if common interests and common values don't seem to be the catalyst for lasting friendships?

I find that people build lasting connections through common problems and people grow apart when their problems no longer coincide. This is why couples especially those with children tend to lose their single friends. Their primary problems have become vastly different. God created each one of us with a light inside. I've had sex with all kinds of people; every single person has a kind of beam inside that shines once they are touched properly. ~ Rawi Hage

Standing Here My entire world far beneath my feet, I should be filled with pride. Instead, I feel overwhelmed by a sense of defeat. Suddenly it comes to me, toes tempted to test the ledge, that there is a way out of this. Clam surety flows through my veins, and as I turn to wave good-bye, I wonder if it will hurt or if a single person will cry at my funeral. I take a deep breath, a final taste of sweet mountain air. I conjure Leona, Emily. Move my feet closer. Closer There's Grandma One, Grandma Two, and their spouses, waiting for me. I see Dad. Cara. Mommy. I screw up my courage, step over ~ Ellen Hopkins

Every cup that passes through a single person and eventually rejoins the world's water supply holds enough molecules to mix 1,500 of them into every other cup of water in the world. No way around it: some of the water you just drank passed through the kidneys of Socrates, Genghis Khan, and Joan of Arc.

How about air? Also vital. A single breathful draws in more air molecules than there are breathfuls of air in Earth's entire atmosphere. That means some of the air you just breathed passed through the lungs of Napoleon, Beethoven, Lincoln, and Billy the Kid. ~ Neil DeGrasse Tyson
Single Person quotes by Neil DeGrasse Tyson
Dammit, R.E.M. was right: Every single person on the planet had to take turns hurting. Sometimes all you could do was hold on to each other right until the dark spat you back out. ~ Emily Henry
