In 5-billion years the Sun will expand & engulf our orbit as the charred ember that was once Earth vaporizes. Have a nice day. ~ Neil DeGrasse Tyson
Nice Day quotes by Neil DeGrasse Tyson
Well, all I can say is, it's a day-by-day program, and so I'm very worried about relapsing, but I don't know. I don't want to use. I don't want to go back to that place because nothing good came of it. It was super dark; it's not nice. ~ Jack Osbourne
Nice Day quotes by Jack Osbourne
I did a film called Dracula and it was very nice because I had lots of trips to New York on Concorde. ~ Julie Harris
Nice Day quotes by Julie Harris
We're really quite nice and friendly, but everyone has a beastly side to them, don't they? ~ Sid Vicious
Nice Day quotes by Sid Vicious
Something was wrong with Luke," Annabeth muttered, poking at the fire with her knife. "Did you notice the way he was acting?"
"He looked pretty pleased to me," I said. "Like he'd spent a nice day torturing heroes."
"That's not true! There was something wrong with him. He looked ... nervous. He told his monsters to spare me. He wanted to tell me something."
"Probably, 'Hi, Annabeth! Sit here with me and watch while I tear your friends apart. It'll be fun! ~ Rick Riordan
Nice Day quotes by Rick Riordan
We as a family have decided to do this our way, rather than try to survive what is coming. I apologize to the police officers who have enough to do, but we took our own lives. We see what is going to happen, and the hell on earth is beyond comprehension. Have a nice day. Rudy, Diana, Michael and Tiffany Samuels. ~ Al Halsey
Nice Day quotes by Al Halsey
You best go about your way and have a nice day ~ Roxanne Shante
Nice Day quotes by Roxanne Shante
My two favorite things about being a pro player are Sunday afternoons being able to excite many fans and the money because I get to treat my family and friends and myself to nice things. ~ Dante Hall
Nice Day quotes by Dante Hall
It is worth repeating at this point the theories that Ford had come up with, on his first encounter with human beings, to account for their peculiar habit of continually stating and restating the very very obvious, as in "It's a nice day," or "You're very tall," or "So this is it, we're going to die."
His first theory was that if human beings didn't keep exercising their lips, their mouths probably shriveled up.
After a few months of observation he had come up with a second theory, which was this
"If human beings don't keep exercising their lips, their brains start working. ~ Douglas Adams
Nice Day quotes by Douglas Adams
It's rewarding to know that a song is doing more than just helping someone to have a nice day: it's actually leaving a deposit in their lives. ~ Natalie Grant
Nice Day quotes by Natalie Grant
When I pick up the ball and it feels nice and light and small I know I'm going to have a good day. But if I picked it up and it's big and heavy, I know I'm liable to get into a little trouble. ~ Bob Feller
Nice Day quotes by Bob Feller
One moment, please ... We interrupt our regular program to bring you this special bulletin: It's a nice day outside. ~ Charles M. Schulz
Nice Day quotes by Charles M. Schulz
Jeff: You know, you don't have to do this.
Walter: Yeah, I could get a real job.
Jeff: What would you do?
Walter: I wanna be a greeter at Wal-Mart.
Walter: What the hell's so funny?
Jeff: At Wal-Mart, what would be your opening line?
Walter: Oh.
Walter: Welcome to Wal-Mart. Get your shit and get out!
Walter: Have a nice day! ~ Jeff Dunham
Nice Day quotes by Jeff Dunham
Which is why I felt I was truly blessed this year, with leads in two nice films, and also the luxury of being able to do a studio film and an independent afterwards was fantastic. ~ Rachel True
Nice Day quotes by Rachel True

is just a set-up ~ Ntozake Shange
Nice Day quotes by Ntozake Shange
The crime rates would go right down, I think, if Americans stopped saying: 'Have a nice day,' to one another. At least it would stop me from contemplating violence; when people in shops & so on order me to have a nice day in this authoritarian way, I want to kill, kill, kill. When I mutter 'sod off' under my breath, they think it is a Russian Orthodox benediction. ~ Susannah Clapp
Nice Day quotes by Susannah Clapp
Beautiful day out there," I said, perching on the stool and crossing my legs. "It's autumn, Sunday, great weather, and crowded everywhere you go. Relaxing indoors like this is the best thing you can do on such a nice day. It's exhausting to get into those crowds. And the air is bad. I mostly do laundry on Sundays - wash the stuff in the morning, hang it out on the roof of my dorm, take it in before the sun goes down, do a good job of ironing it. I don't mind ironing at all. There's a special satisfaction in making wrinkled things smooth. And I'm pretty good at it, too. Of course, I was lousy at it at first. I put creases in everything. After a month of practice, though, I knew what I was doing. So Sunday is my day for laundry and ironing. I couldn't do it today, of course. Too bad: wasted a perfect laundry day. ~ Haruki Murakami
Nice Day quotes by Haruki Murakami
In short, not only was it surprising to be greeted in person with such enthusiastic words, but it was doubly surprising when the person reciting these words displayed the same kind of disengagement as, say, the checkout clerk who utters the words 'Have a nice day' while her expression indicates that it's really a matter of total indifference to her whether you drop dead in the parking lot outside ten seconds from now. ~ David Foster Wallace
Nice Day quotes by David Foster Wallace
It's a nice day for a white wedding. ~ Billy Idol
Nice Day quotes by Billy Idol
As long as you're getting along, it's nice to work with someone you know well. ~ Luke Wilson
Nice Day quotes by Luke Wilson
Some of us shorten our names or our noses or both ... We Jews can be extremely neurotic and are inclined to become easily depressed. Most Jews seldom say, 'Have a nice day' or even have one. To be honest, I've never heard a Jew say that. We're just not that optimistic. Life is neither a bed of roses nor a bowl of cherries. ~ Gene Saks
Nice Day quotes by Gene Saks
Not to hope for things to last forever, is what the year teaches and even the hour which snatches a nice day away. ~ Horace
Nice Day quotes by Horace
What makes me happy is having a really nice day out with my mum, or getting better at something I've been working hard at. ~ FKA Twigs
Nice Day quotes by FKA Twigs
It's nice to play a character that has a soulful, dependent, close relationship. It must mean my character is interesting in some way. ~ Jeff Goldblum
Nice Day quotes by Jeff Goldblum
If you take the final betrayal out of it,' he said, 'he was a fine agent - one of the best.'
I stared at him. 'That's one way of putting it,' I replied. 'If you take the bomb out of it, 6 August was probably a nice day in Hiroshima. ~ Terry Hayes
Nice Day quotes by Terry Hayes
Old enough to remember the arrival of 'Have a nice day', Patrick could only look with alarm on the hyperinflation of 'Have a great one'. Where would this Weimar of bullying cheerfulness end? 'You have a profound and meaningful day now. ~ Edward St. Aubyn
Nice Day quotes by Edward St. Aubyn
The Jesus freaks were the worst. While the 'Suicide Solution' case was going through the courts they followed me around everywhere. They would picket my shows with signs that read, 'The Anti-Christ Is Here'. And they'd always be chanting: 'Put Satan behind you! Put Jesus
in front of you!'
One time, I made my own sign – a smiley face with the words 'Have a Nice Day' – and went out and joined them. They didn't even notice. Then, just as the gig was about to start, I put down the sign, said, 'See ya, guys,' and went back to my dressing room. ~ Ozzy Osbourne
Nice Day quotes by Ozzy Osbourne
People always tell me "Have a nice day." Well what if I don't want to? What if I want to have a crappy day? ~ George Carlin
Nice Day quotes by George Carlin
Knitting is very conducive to thought. It is nice to knit a while, put down the needles, write a while, then take up the sock again. ~ Dorothy Day
Nice Day quotes by Dorothy Day
You go from movies where you are wearing nice clothes and you're trying to smell good to a movie where you are in water and you are wet all day, and you are dealing with that elements, it gets rough, but it was definitely something I wanted to try. ~ Morris Chestnut
Nice Day quotes by Morris Chestnut
It was a nice day. ~ Terry Pratchett
Nice Day quotes by Terry Pratchett
I'm so happy," she whispered. "I never thought I would ever be this happy." Richard put his arms around her and held her to him. He rested his cheek against her hair and let her words sink deep into his heart. "Any reason why?" he asked, trying to sound casual. "You, of course," she said. "How . . ." She pulled her head back and looked up at him. "Because you are a sweet, tender, passionate man and you treat me like you might just love me." He smiled weakly. "Indeed." She reached up and touched his mouth. "There's that smile again." "A poor one." "It's better than no smile at all. Don't grin, though. I have to be sitting down for that." She brushed past him and started down the steps. "Have a nice day, dear." "Dear? How mean you that?" he asked. ~ Lynn Kurland
Nice Day quotes by Lynn Kurland
Telephone operators now routinely use '80s-babble, chirping, "Have a nice day," the moral equivalent of the smile button. ~ Stefan Kanfer
Nice Day quotes by Stefan Kanfer
It's always nice when the eccentrics show up. ~ Alex Cox
Nice Day quotes by Alex Cox
JOHN: You said "Good day." I think that it is a nice day today.
CAROL: Is it?
JOHN: Yes, I think it is.
CAROL: And why is that important?
JOHN: Because it is the essence of all human communication. I say something
conventional, you respond, and the information we exchange is not about the
"weather," but that we both agree to converse. In effect, we agree that we are both
human. ~ David Mamet
Nice Day quotes by David Mamet
I am sure," cried Catherine, "I did not mean to say anything wrong; but it is a nice book, and why should not I call it so?"
"Very true," said Henry, "and this is a very nice day, and we are taking a very nice walk, and you are two very nice young ladies. Oh! It is a very nice word indeed! It does for everything. Originally perhaps it was applied only to express neatness, propriety, delicacy, or refinement - people were nice in their dress, in their sentiments, or their choice. But now every commendation on every subject is comprised in that one word. ~ Jane Austen
Nice Day quotes by Jane Austen
Such a nice day - out all day up in the Carter Notch direction, trout-fishing, with the long drive there and the long drive home again in time for supper. It was a lovely brook and I caught seven good trout and one small one - which eight trout-persons you should have for your breakfast if only you were near enough. It was not alone the fishing, but the delightful loneliness and being out of doors. ~ Sarah Orne Jewett
Nice Day quotes by Sarah Orne Jewett
I'm sorry, we can't come to the phone right now 'cause we're dead. Feel free to leave a message, but if we don't get back to you, it's probably 'cause we're dead. Have a nice day now. ~ Alan Emmins
Nice Day quotes by Alan Emmins
You have a nice day, you hear? ~ Charlaine Harris
Nice Day quotes by Charlaine Harris
When the World Gets in my Face I say, Have a Nice Day. ~ Jon Bon Jovi
Nice Day quotes by Jon Bon Jovi
Therefore we must be mad.' 'Nice day for it. ~ Douglas Adams
Nice Day quotes by Douglas Adams
But if you think you aren't creative that's cool, too. I think being around people who aren't creative is kind of refreshing and nice. ~ Joel Hodgson
Nice Day quotes by Joel Hodgson
i wore red lipstick to the grocery store last Monday
to buy a carton off eggs and so when the cashier told
me that my eyes reminded him of the ocean, i asked
if he's ever drowned in his own sadness, he said my
total was $1.89 and that he didn't know what i meant,
i payed in quarters and told him i was an Art major,
i told him my boyfriend was a musician and we were
saving up for an apartment in the city and how i'd
use the walls as canvases and how he'd play his
piano on Sunday mornings when the rain tasted like
salt, and i told him that i had my first art opening in
three weeks and he should stop by and i'd introduce
him to this friend i had named Lolita who was really
good in bed, he thought i was insane and i wonder
if he knew how many times i've cried in the shower
with my make up smeared and my eyes swollen shut,
he said "yeah, yeah, sounds good, have a nice day"
and i wonder if he'll ever know i wanted to really be
a poet and that's why when some man in the parking
lot asked if i had a lighter, i dropped my eggs while
stumbling to find one, and cried on the way home ~ Irynka
Nice Day quotes by Irynka
nice day, i said. and i put one of the raspberries in my mouth. is it? i looked up at the sky. the sun is there, i said, only it's hid by a cloud. you ever see the bad in life? he asked. i'll have time to think about that, i said, when i'm dead. ~ Nell Leyshon
Nice Day quotes by Nell Leyshon
I tried not to make God this big deal in Joan's life. She treats God like a friend: she's nice to him some days, and other days mean, and then cries when she needs help. ~ Amber Tamblyn
Nice Day quotes by Amber Tamblyn
Prefect had always found hardest to understand about humans was their habit of continually stating and repeating the very very obvious, as in It's a nice day, or You're very tall, or Oh dear you seem to have fallen down a thirty-foot well, are you all right? At first Ford had formed a theory to account for this strange behavior. If human beings don't keep exercising their lips, he thought, their mouths probably seize up. After a few months' consideration and observation he abandoned this theory in favor of a new one. If they don't keep on exercising their lips, he thought, their brains start working. After a while he abandoned this one as well as being obstructively cynical and decided he quite liked human beings after all, but he always remained desperately worried about the terrible number of things they didn't know about. "Yes," he agreed with ~ Douglas Adams
Nice Day quotes by Douglas Adams
I'm looking forward to free skiing the most. Just groomers, big wide groomers making nice big turns. ~ Picabo Street
Nice Day quotes by Picabo Street
A lot of the stuff I have done had been not only the likable guy, but like the nice likable guy. ~ Ron Livingston
Nice Day quotes by Ron Livingston
Who is God?

On a nice day go into the forest alone. Lay on your back in the soft green grass so that you can see the sky through the tree tops. Then ask your question to the sky for no answer will be found in mere human words. ~ Leland Lewis
Nice Day quotes by Leland Lewis
No problem, I said with all the confidence of a lemming who thinks he's headed for a nice day at the seashore. ~ Neil Gaiman
Nice Day quotes by Neil Gaiman
It would be nice to be on the charts again, nice to be recognised. ~ Nancy Sinatra
Nice Day quotes by Nancy Sinatra
Just saying no prevents teenage pregnancy the way 'Have a nice day' cures chronic depression. ~ Faye Wattleton
Nice Day quotes by Faye Wattleton
As Beck drove out of the garage, he gave the parking attendants a big toothy smile and a wave. "There's some snow on the fifth level. Thought ya might like to know. Y'all have a nice day, now!" he called out.
No wonder Dad liked working with you. ~ Jana Oliver
Nice Day quotes by Jana Oliver
There are some films that arrive here from the international festival circuit almost incandescent with self-importance. They hover into the cinema in a kind of floating trance at how challenging and moving they are. They are films with a profound reluctance to get over themselves. They look up at the sceptical observer with the saucer-eyed saintliness of a baby seal in culling season, or a charity mugger smilingly wishing a nice day on the retreating back of a passer-by. One such is Babel. ~ Peter Bradshaw
Nice Day quotes by Peter Bradshaw
I'd love to get pajamas. Good, nice and warm flannel ones. ~ Charlize Theron
Nice Day quotes by Charlize Theron
Recently, I was in New York with most of the Robertson family promoting the season-four premiere of Duck Dynasty. We were staying at the Trump International Hotel, which is a really nice place near Central Park. I was already uncomfortable being in the big city. I don't like traffic or concrete, and there are a lot of both in New York. After we checked in, we gathered downstairs to go to a Broadway musical show. I know it might seem bizarre for me to be going to a musical, but my very attractive wife can be mightily persuasive, especially when I have nothing else to do.
As we were waiting or the others in the lobby, I asked a doorman if there was a nearby bathroom. He gave me directions to the nearest restroom, which included a walk through the hotel restaurant. As I entered the restaurant, a well-dressed staffer offered his assistance. I informed him I was only going to the restroom. But he very nicely continued to offer assistance and took the role of my escort, which I thought was quite courteous and professional. At his direction, we took a quick left turn and walked out of the hotel. Befuddled, I asked him, "Where is the bathroom?" He painted down the street or maybe toward Central Park and said, "Good luck to you, sir. Have a nice day." I circled back around to the main entrance of the hotel, where I found Missy, who had witnessed the entire episode.
"I thought you had to go to the bathroom," she said.
I laughed and told her I had been escorted out of the ~ Jase Robertson
Nice Day quotes by Jase Robertson
What a strange thing to have happen," he thought (just as you must be thinking right now). "This game is much more serious than I thought, for here I am riding on a road I've never seen, going to a place I've never heard of, and all because of a tollbooth which came from nowhere. I'm certainly glad that it's a nice day for a trip," he concluded hopefully, for, at the moment, this was the one thing he definitely knew. ~ Norton Juster
Nice Day quotes by Norton Juster
What are the lessons to be learned from this journey of the mind? That humans are emotionally fragile, perennially gullible, hopelessly ignorant masters of an insignificantly small speck in the cosmos.
Have a nice day. ~ Neil DeGrasse Tyson
Nice Day quotes by Neil DeGrasse Tyson
You get all of your neuroses worked out on stage. I haven't actually played very many nice characters, certainly not on stage. It's not a quality that attracts me. ~ Patrick Stewart
Nice Day quotes by Patrick Stewart
It was a nice day, and I don't mean that it was sunny either. It was humid and not too cool, like winter was getting annoyed with itself and wanted it to be spring just as much as everyone else. ~ Gabrielle Zevin
Nice Day quotes by Gabrielle Zevin
A lot of players might be tired, but I feel nice and sharp. ~ Robbie Keane
Nice Day quotes by Robbie Keane
One of the things Ford Perfect had always found hardest to understand about humans was their habit of continually stating and repeating the very very obvious, as in It's a nice day, or You're very tall, or Oh dear you've fallen down a thirty-foot well, are you alright? ~ Douglas Adams
Nice Day quotes by Douglas Adams
- You are unarmed?
+ Always
- You stand alone?
+ Often
- You are the one who should be afraid.
+ Never
- Have a nice day then. ~ Stephen Moffat
Nice Day quotes by Stephen Moffat
But ... it's a nice day today, the birds is singing, there's stuff like ... kittens and stuff, and the sun is shining off the snow, bringin' the promise of spring to come, with flowers, and fresh grass, and more kittens and hot summer days an' the gentle kiss of the rain and wonderful clean things which you won't ever see if you don't give us what's in that drawer 'cos you'll burn like a torch you double-dealing twisty dried-up cheating son of a bitch! ~ Terry Pratchett
Nice Day quotes by Terry Pratchett
If you want something to grow and be so beautiful you could have a nice day just from looking at it, you have to wait. ~ Virginia Euwer Wolff
Nice Day quotes by Virginia Euwer Wolff
You normally have to be bashed about a bit by life to see the point of daffodils, sunsets and uneventful nice days. ~ Alain De Botton
Nice Day quotes by Alain De Botton
When I was growing up, Belfast City Hall was surrounded by security, and we had no access to it. But now, people come in and out of it all the time. On a nice day, office workers and students sit on the lawn outside and have lunch. It's great to see how Northern Ireland has changed. To be part of that is fantastic. ~ James Nesbitt
Nice Day quotes by James Nesbitt
Most people have very little control over what sort of day they're going to have. For instance, when one person says, "Have a nice day," the other may well be thinking, "I've just been diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, and I'm also coughing up thick black stuff." In this case the well-wisher's words will fall on deaf ears. ~ George Carlin
Nice Day quotes by George Carlin
I sometimes have to think about that because if I think about these five things and think of them all, I'll drop the balls, so I really have to prioritize and use every free second I have and maximize it. I wake up early, try to get sleep, but try to write for at least three hours every day. A really nice day for me is writing ten hours. I love that. Hasn't been a lot of that recently, but every free second I have I'm doing that. ~ James Ponsoldt
Nice Day quotes by James Ponsoldt
Anyone who thinks that homophobia doesn't exist in this day and age has never been the gay boy in a boys' locker room ~ Kevin Van Whye
Nice Day quotes by Kevin Van Whye
They are a family of cows - so humble and honest. ~ Pawan Mishra
Nice Day quotes by Pawan Mishra
Tate was sprawled across the bed in his robe early the next morning when the sound of the front door opening penetrated his mind. There was an unholy commotion out there and his head was still throbbing, despite a bath, several cups of coffee and a handful of aspirin that had been forced on him the day before by two men he'd thought were his friends. He didn't want to sober up. He only wanted to forget that Cecily didn't want him anymore.
He dragged himself off the bed and went into the living room, just in time to hear the door close.
Cecily and her suitcase were standing with mutual rigidity just inside the front door. She was wearing a dress and boots and a coat and hat, red-faced and muttering words Tate had never heard her use before.
He scowled. "How did you get here?" he asked.
"Your boss brought me!" she raged. "He and that turncoat Colby Lane and two bodyguards, one of whom was the female counterpart of Ivan the Terrible! They forcibly dressed me and packed me and flew me up here on Mr. Hutton's Learjet! When I refused to get out of the car, the male bodyguard swept me up and carried me here! I am going to kill people as soon as I get my breath and my wits back, and I am starting with you!"
He leaned against the wall, still bleary-eyed and only half awake. She was beautiful with her body gently swollen and her lips pouting and her green eye sin their big-lensed frames glittering at him.
She registered after a minute that he wasn't himsel ~ Diana Palmer
Nice Day quotes by Diana Palmer
Do something that feels good in the mornings! It will help you to setup your day to take in more knowledge and understanding, which ultimately leads to wisdom. ~ Martin R. Lemieux
Nice Day quotes by Martin R. Lemieux
I had no student friends to talk to about literature. My tutor was a really nice man, very charming - but he had no literary judgment. ~ V.S. Naipaul
Nice Day quotes by V.S. Naipaul
Her aunt and uncle worked fifteen hours a day in their desperate attempt to keep the corner shop in profit, and their Sundays were marked by exhaustion. The moral code by which they lived was that of cleanliness, respectability and prudence. Religion was for those who had the time for it, a middle-class indulgence. ~ P.D. James
Nice Day quotes by P.D. James
I have fallen in love with granola, in life and at work. I exercise every morning, and then I have a monstrous day in front of me. Granola gives me energy. It's quick, tasty, and healthy. ~ Daniel Humm
Nice Day quotes by Daniel Humm
It's in my blood to be on the radio every day. I've done it since I was 16 years old. ~ Ryan Seacrest
Nice Day quotes by Ryan Seacrest
Some had the custom of receiving the Eucharist daily, some twice a week, some on the Lord's day, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, some only on the Lord's Day. ~ Martin Chemnitz
Nice Day quotes by Martin Chemnitz
Hanna reached for Margaret's hand, knowing nothing she could say would bring comfort. Margaret would never see her grandmother again. Nor would Hanna see her Oma, who had wept when Hanna boarded the ship for America, waving goodbye for the last time. Only the elderly and frail were left behind. And letters from home were not the same as a warm laugh or a cup of tea shared on a cold day. ~ Meredith Jaeger
Nice Day quotes by Meredith Jaeger
It's a bad job," he said, when I had done; "but the sun sets every day, and people die every minute, and we mustn't be scared by the common lot. If we failed to hold our own, because that equal foot at all men's doors was heard knocking somewhere, every object in this world would slip from us. No! Ride on! Rough-shod if need be, smooth-shod if that will do, but ride on! Ride on over all obstacles, and win the race! ~ Charles Dickens
Nice Day quotes by Charles Dickens
A soulmate will never leave you. They will always be apart of your life until one day the chance is given for them to become your life. It is then you will become one. ~ Faye Hall
Nice Day quotes by Faye Hall
His master plan to get them all out the door early met its first check of the day when he opened his closet door to discover that Zap the Cat, having penetrated the security of Vorkosigan House through Miles's quisling cook, had made a nest on the floor among his boots and fallen clothing to have kittens. Six of them.
Zap ignored his threats about the dire consequences of attacking an Imperial Auditor, and purred and growled from the dimness in her usual schizophrenic fashion. Miles gathered his nerve and rescued his best boots and House uniform, at a cost of some high Vor blood, and sent them downstairs for a hasty cleaning by the overworked Armsman Pym. The Countess, delighted as ever to find her biological empire increasing, came in thoughtfully bearing a cat-gourmet tray prepared by Ma Kosti that Miles would have had no hesitation in eating for his own breakfast. In the general chaos of the morning, however, he had to go down to the kitchen and scrounge his meal. The Countess sat on the floor and cooed into his closet for a good half-hour, and not only escaped laceration, but managed to pick up, sex, and name the whole batch of little squirming furballs before tearing herself away to hurry and dress. ~ Lois McMaster Bujold
Nice Day quotes by Lois McMaster Bujold
I gave you up and died a little each day ~ Rassool Jibraeel Snyman
Nice Day quotes by Rassool Jibraeel Snyman
Newspapers often speak of "personal sorrows" or of "incurable illness." These explanations are plausible. But one would have to know whether a friend of the desperate man had not that very day addressed him indifferently. He is the guilty one. For that is enough to precipitate all the rancors and all the boredom still in suspension. ~ Albert Camus
Nice Day quotes by Albert Camus
The day we receive Jesus Christ as our Savior is one of the greatest days of our lives. Not only are our sins washed away, but God puts His Spirit inside of us and gives us new desires. ~ Joyce Meyer
Nice Day quotes by Joyce Meyer
It is never late to ask yourself "Am I ready to change my life, am I ready to change myself?". However old we are, whatever we went through, it is always possible to reborn. If each day is a copy of the last one, what a pity! Every breath is a chance to reborn. But to reborn into a new life, you have to die before dying. ~ Shams Tabrizi
Nice Day quotes by Shams Tabrizi
The thing about New York is, more than any other place I've ever been, you run into people on the street that you would never imagine you'd see, old friends, people just like there for a day or two. I find that all the time when I'm walking around Manhattan, running into people that I had no idea were even there. ~ Michael Shannon
Nice Day quotes by Michael Shannon
The central ceremony of Ritual Witchcraft was the so-called "Sabbath" - a word of unknown origin having no relation to its Hebrew homonym. Sabbaths were celebrated four times a year - on Candlemass Day, February 2nd, on Rood Mass Day, May 1st, on Lammas Day, August 1st, and on the eve of All Hallows, October 31st. These were great festivals, often attended by hundreds of devotees, who came from considerable distances. Between Sabbaths there were weekly "Esbats" from small congregations in the village where the ancient religion was still practiced. At all high Sabbaths the devil himself was invariably present, in the person of some man who had inherited, or otherwise acquired, the honor of being the incarnation of the two-faced god of the Dianic cult. The worshipers paid homage to the god by kissing his reverse face - a mask worn, beneath an animal's tail, on the devil's backside. There was then, for some at least of the female devotees, a ritual copulation with the god, who was equipped for this purpose with an artificial phallus of horn or metal. This ceremony was followed by a picnic (for the Sabbaths were celebrated out of doors, near sacred trees or stones), by dancing and finally by a promiscuous sexual orgy that had, no doubt, originally been a magical operation for increasing the fertility of the animals on which primitive hunters and herdsmen depend for their livelihood. The prevailing atmosphere at the Sabbaths was one of good fellowship and mindless, animal joy. Whe ~ Aldous Huxley
Nice Day quotes by Aldous Huxley
It's about the "Big Picture." Avoid people who think day-to-day in a small way. ~ Troy Gathers
Nice Day quotes by Troy Gathers
My father never cheated on my mother. He used to cheat on me. He used to pick other kids after school. Take them to the zoo. Take them to play ball. One day he came to me. He says, Look I got to level with you. I met another kid. ~ Dom Irrera
Nice Day quotes by Dom Irrera
Every day, people settle for less than they desearve. They are only parially living or at best living a partial life. Every human being has the potential for greatness. ~ Bo Bennett
Nice Day quotes by Bo Bennett
Reclaimed by the small-time day-to-day, pretending life is Back To Normal, wrapping herself shivering against contingency's winter in some threadbare blanket of first-quarter expenses, school committees, cable-bill irregularities, a workday jittering with low-life fantasies for which "fraud" is often too elegant a term, upstairs neighbors to whom bathtub caulking is an alien concept, symptoms upper-respiratory and lower-intestinal, all in the quaint belief that change will always be gradual enough to manage, with insurance, with safety equipment, with healthy diets and regular exercise, and that evil never comes roaring out of the sky to explode into anybody's towering delusions about being exempt. . . ~ Thomas Pynchon
Nice Day quotes by Thomas Pynchon
The simple fact was, Gideon and I were the best and worst things that had ever happened to each other ~ Sylvia Day
Nice Day quotes by Sylvia Day
I found another girl to pose for Myrto and then I didn't think about Rafaela much, not until a spring day years later. Or rather, I thought about her with an occasional, impersonal pang. Have you ever had a favorite cafe close? It was like that. ~ Ellis Avery

God was feeling sardonic the day He created the Universe. So it's rather up to at least one man every few centuries to pop up and come just as close to making him swallow his laughter as possible. ~ L. Ron Hubbard
Nice Day quotes by L. Ron Hubbard
For the Athenians of that day did not look for an orator or a general who would enable them to live in happy servitude; they cared not to live at all, unless they might live in freedom. For every one of them felt that he had come into being, not for his father and his mother alone, but also for his country. And wherein lies the difference? He who thinks he was born for his parents alone awaits the death which destiny assigns him in the course of nature: but he who thinks he was born for his country also will be willing to die, that he may not see her in bondage, and will look upon the outrages and the indignities that he must needs bear in a city that is in bondage as more to be dreaded than death. ~ Demosthenes
Nice Day quotes by Demosthenes

I started realizing that every day is a gift - you have every day to be thankful you're alive. ~ Emily Rios
