I'm a poor audience for my memory.
She wants me to attend her voice nonstop,
but I fidget, fuss,

step out, come back, then leave again.

She wants all my time and attention.

In her stories I'm always younger.

She gets angry when I shrug my shoulders.
And takes revenge by hauling out old errors,

It's probably no coincidence with the internet and social media and the word being able to spread beyond the radio, where fans can go and talk and congregate and trade stories and a band could communicate news very quickly and in a worldwide basis.
