The United States has an incredible debt. That is obviously not the way to live. You have to eliminate waste in your life as the United States has to eliminate waste in its spending. ~ Frederick Lenz
Losing Power quotes by Frederick Lenz
Some people are like psychic sponges, they drain power form others constantly. They lower your awareness because they are at a lower level. If you spend too much time with them, you get pulled down. ~ Frederick Lenz
Losing Power quotes by Frederick Lenz
If your power is decreasing then you have to do something about it right away. ~ Frederick Lenz
Losing Power quotes by Frederick Lenz
Drinking alcohol takes you into a lower state of mind. If you drink a lot of it, things get very fuzzy and they are not very sharp or defined. This brings you into a lower state of attention. ~ Frederick Lenz
Losing Power quotes by Frederick Lenz
There is a certain drop of a type of kundalini when you have sex. ~ Frederick Lenz
Losing Power quotes by Frederick Lenz
If you lead a sloppy life, if you indulge in your emotions, if you're always upset, freaked out, stressful, and not happy, you are wasting power and your power level will get very low. ~ Frederick Lenz
Losing Power quotes by Frederick Lenz
More helicopters hovered to the south, and a large troop carrier lifted off the ground a mile ahead. These weren't the same helicopters Rick had left behind in Tennessee. These were new ones from North Carolina. They must have had a plan, but Rick wasn't in any hurry to run to his doom. He slowed down to seventy miles per hour and looked at Renee.
"I love you, too," he said.
Renee's heart lurched into her throat. The reserved look on his face was something she wasn't used to seeing. "Do you think this is it?"
"I don't know." He looked again at the fuel gauge.
She put her hand over the gauge, covering it from his view. "Do you remember what you told me once?"
Rick smiled. "That, sometimes, it's best not to know."
"Just don't quit on me. Don't make this a worthless gesture." Renee forced him to look at her.
Rick feared running out of fuel in the middle of these mountains. He feared the fury of the Firebird's losing power, rolling to a stop, becoming helpless, and giving all these patrolmen a chance to catch up to them and gun them down like Bonnie and Clyde. Surely, they would use lethal force and nothing else.
But as long as that engine ran and Rick was behind the wheel, they had a chance to live. And every second of life mattered.
"OK, just hang on," he said, meeting her gaze. He reached over and kissed her gently.
Renee relished the kiss, closing her eyes and then opening them wide to take in the mountains. Did it h ~ Rich Hoffman
Losing Power quotes by Rich Hoffman
If you really want to channel all of your energy towards higher mysticism, you should realize that sex does drain a certain amount of your occult energy. ~ Frederick Lenz
Losing Power quotes by Frederick Lenz
It takes many years to become proficient in energy conservation. But it is something that happens. You get continually stronger. You see your attention field is far different than it ever was before. ~ Frederick Lenz
Losing Power quotes by Frederick Lenz
There are many facts showing that Putin's people enriched themselves by using power mechanisms so that's why for them losing power means losing their fortunes. ~ Garry Kasparov
Losing Power quotes by Garry Kasparov
If you are a successful person and you let a lot of people in and around your life, they can drain your power. It won't go to them, but it will leave you. ~ Frederick Lenz
Losing Power quotes by Frederick Lenz
The primary place where most people lose energy is in their relationships with others. That means you lose your energy in your interactions with the people you know best. ~ Frederick Lenz
Losing Power quotes by Frederick Lenz
Power does not corrupt. Fear corrupts ... perhaps the fear of a loss of power. ~ John Steinbeck
Losing Power quotes by John Steinbeck
The truth about oppressors is that they are also as fearful as their victims if not suffering continuous panic attacks about losing power ~ Peter Mutanda
Losing Power quotes by Peter Mutanda
You do not stop losing power by refusing to recognize your fear, by anesthetizing yourself to what you feel. The road to authentic power is always through what you feel through your heart. ~ Gary Zukav
Losing Power quotes by Gary Zukav
If you ever care about things, that means they have power over you. ~ Frederick Lenz
Losing Power quotes by Frederick Lenz
People don't necessarily take power from you for themselves. It just means they are operating at a lower attention level and you got pulled down by it. You are not sufficiently strong enough to be with someone and be unaffected. ~ Frederick Lenz
Losing Power quotes by Frederick Lenz
When our power level is down sufficiently, we die. ~ Frederick Lenz
Losing Power quotes by Frederick Lenz
I think every individual has his or her own power, and it's a matter of working, taking time and defining what that power is. ~ Jill Scott
Losing Power quotes by Jill Scott
The basic premise of the Constitution was a separation of powers and a system of checks and balances because man was perceived as a fallen creature and would always yearn for more power. ~ Roy Moore
Losing Power quotes by Roy Moore
The Spirit is the first power we practically experience, but the last power we come to understand. ~ Oswald Chambers
Losing Power quotes by Oswald Chambers
Many wealthy people donate, and while the skeptical may claim that they do so for tax breaks, there is another reason involved ... as a spiritual practice. ~ Stephen Richards
Losing Power quotes by Stephen Richards
When weary with the long day's care,
And earthly change from pain to pain,
And lost, and ready to despair,
Thy kind voice calls me back again
O my true friend, I am not lone
While thou canst speak with such a tone!

So hopeless is the world without,
The world within I doubly prize;
Thy world where guile and hate and doubt
And cold suspicion never rise;
Where thou and I and Liberty
Have undisputed sovereignty.

What matters it that all around
Danger and grief and darkness lie,
If but within our bosom's bound
We hold a bright unsullied sky,
Warm with ten thousand mingled rays
Of suns that know no winter days?

Reason indeed may oft complain
For Nature's sad reality,
And tell the suffering heart how vain
Its cherished dreams must always be;
And Truth may rudely trample down
The flowers of Fancy newly blown.

But thou art ever there to bring
The hovering visions back and breathe
New glories o'er the blighted spring
And call a lovelier life from death,
And whisper with a voice divine
Of real worlds as bright as thine.

I trust not to thy phantom bliss,
Yet still in evening's quiet hour
With never-failing thankfulness I
welcome thee, benignant power,
Sure solacer of human cares
And brighter hope when hope despairs. ~ Emily Bronte
Losing Power quotes by Emily Bronte
You have the power to mold your life how ever you want. To shape it and reshape it. ~ Jim Rohn
Losing Power quotes by Jim Rohn
In India, it's hard not to have Gandhi as a hero. To give up everything - including power and money - and to live for his countrymen, that beats everything else. He's a role model of selflessness. ~ Amit Bhatia
Losing Power quotes by Amit Bhatia
There is an indefinable mysterious Power that pervades everything. ~ Mahatma Gandhi
Losing Power quotes by Mahatma Gandhi
For here is a man who, in some sense, is desperate, in a frenzy. The world keeps disappearing, losing meaning, vanishing - and he must seek meaning, make meaning, in a desperate way, continually inventing, throwing bridges of meaning over abysses of meaninglessness, the chaos that yawns continually beneath him. ~ Oliver Sacks
Losing Power quotes by Oliver Sacks
I long to see Christians get beyond themselves and start seeing the glory of God as it pertains to their own life. We need great people who understand that their success is wrapped up in the sovereignty of God. If we can do that, a faith, power, energy and zeal will emerge that will take us forward in the things of the Holy Spirit. We must become overwhelmed with who God wants to be for us! ~ Graham Cooke
Losing Power quotes by Graham Cooke
Stewardship means to consciously take up our cultural power, investing it intentionally among the seemingly powerless, putting our power at their disposal to enable them to cultivate and create. ~ Andy Crouch
Losing Power quotes by Andy Crouch
He was kindhearted, in a way. You know the sort of kind heart: it made him uncomfortable more often than it made him do anything; and even when he did anything, it did not prevent him from grumbling, losing his temper and swearing (mostly to himself). ~ J.R.R. Tolkien
Losing Power quotes by J.R.R. Tolkien
Do not give anyone the power to define your character. Let your character define and bring out the good in you as a person. ~ Charlena E. Jackson
Losing Power quotes by Charlena E. Jackson
Replacing half of the U.S. ground-transport fuels with hydrogen from wind power by 2050, for example, might require 1,400 gigawatts of advanced wind turbines or more ... replacing those fuels with electricity might require less than 400 GW. ~ Joseph J. Romm
Losing Power quotes by Joseph J. Romm
She passed through a world of snowcapped mountains under shining stars. Passed over one of those mountains, where a winged male stood beside a heavily pregnant female, gazing out at those very stars. Fae.

They were Fae, but this was not her world.

She flung out a hand, as if she might signal them, as if they might somehow help her when she was nothing but an invisible speck of power -

The winged male, beautiful beyond reason, snapped his head toward her as she arced across his starry sky.

He lifted a hand, as in greeting.

A blast of dark power, like a gentle summer night, slammed into her.

Not to attack - but to slow her down.

A wall, a shield, that she tore and plunged through.

But it slowed her. That winged male's power slowed her, just enough.

Aelin vanished from his world without a whisper. ~ Sarah J. Maas
Losing Power quotes by Sarah J. Maas
All cases, therefore, the use-value of the labour-power is advanced to the capitalist: the labourer allows the buyer to consume it before he receives payment of the price; he everywhere gives credit to the capitalist. That this credit is no mere fiction, is shown not only by the occasional loss of wages on the bankruptcy of the capitalist,[181] but also by a series of more enduring consequences. ~ Karl Marx
Losing Power quotes by Karl Marx
The man who fears losing has already lost. ~ George R R Martin
Losing Power quotes by George R R Martin
When life ends it's like a book losing pages or a song skipping. It's abrupt and it doesn't make sense. ~ Benjamin Appleby-Dean
Losing Power quotes by Benjamin Appleby-Dean
The world must become aware of the fantastic transformational power of social entrepreneurship and the Foundation will work as a catalyst in this effort. ~ Klaus Schwab
Losing Power quotes by Klaus Schwab
When you feel that unpleasant darkness invading your mind, read this book and these stories will help you return to the light and warmth of life. ~ Indu Muralidharan
Losing Power quotes by Indu Muralidharan
There really are people, and institutions made up of people, who respond with hatred in the presence of goodness and would destroy the good insofar as it is in their power to do so. They do this not with conscious malice but blindly, lacking awareness of their own evil - indeed, seeking to avoid any such awareness. ~ M. Scott Peck
Losing Power quotes by M. Scott Peck
I detach myself from preconceived outcomes and trust that all is well. Being myself allows the wholeness of my unique magnificience to draw me in those directions most beneficial to me and to all others. This is really the only thing I have to do. And within that framework, everything that is truly mine comes into my life effortlessly, in the most magical and unexpected ways imaginable, demonstrating every day the power and love of who I truly am. ~ Anita Moorjani
Losing Power quotes by Anita Moorjani
By their own admission, leaders of the Republican Revolution of 1994 think their greatest mistake was overlooking the power of the veto. They gave the impression they were somehow in charge when they weren't. ~ Mitch McConnell
Losing Power quotes by Mitch McConnell
Patience in our lives springs from God's power
based upon our willingness to learn it. ~ Billy Graham
Losing Power quotes by Billy Graham
The song being great in its own wealth, why should it wait upon the words? Rather does it begin where mere words fail. Its power lies in the region of the inexpressible; it tells us what the words cannot. ~ Rabindranath Tagore
Losing Power quotes by Rabindranath Tagore
For the first time the specific and express thought came to him. And though he pushed it away in horror, he knew that, having once come, it would return. The thought was simply this: That he would ruin Eternity, if he had to. The worst of it was that he knew he had the power to do it. ~ Isaac Asimov
Losing Power quotes by Isaac Asimov
Truth and trust are the means by which civilization holds off barbarism. ~ Mercedes Lackey
Losing Power quotes by Mercedes Lackey
The world is a complex place, and the influence of the media in its representation and its power of communication and interpretation is a remarkable amplifier of emotions, and of illusions. ~ Tariq Ramadan
Losing Power quotes by Tariq Ramadan
The god abandons Antony

When at the hour of midnight
an invisible choir is suddenly heard passing
with exquisite music, with voices ―
Do not lament your fortune that at last subsides,
your life's work that has failed, your schemes that have proved illusions.
But like a man prepared, like a brave man,
bid farewell to her, to Alexandria who is departing.
Above all, do not delude yourself, do not say that it is a dream,
that your ear was mistaken.
Do not condescend to such empty hopes.
Like a man for long prepared, like a brave man,
like the man who was worthy of such a city,
go to the window firmly,
and listen with emotion
but not with the prayers and complaints of the coward
(Ah! supreme rapture!)
listen to the notes, to the exquisite instruments of the mystic choir,
and bid farewell to her, to Alexandria whom you are losing. ~ Constantinos P. Cavafy
Losing Power quotes by Constantinos P. Cavafy
True happiness involves the full use of one's power and talents. ~ John W. Gardner
Losing Power quotes by John W. Gardner
Premature success gives one an almost mystical conception of destiny as opposed to will power-at its worst the Napoleonic delusion. ~ F Scott Fitzgerald
Losing Power quotes by F Scott Fitzgerald
Perpetuating success or sliding into decline is the result of many intersecting forces that reinforce one another directly and indirectly. They are both cause and effect of winning or losing. Winning generates positive forces, losing generates negative forces. ~ Rosabeth Moss Kanter
Losing Power quotes by Rosabeth Moss Kanter
All power is hidden in Humility ~ Wendy Magee
Losing Power quotes by Wendy Magee

Losing Power quotes by Malcolm Gladwell
The discourse of work as pure emancipation depends on blocking out class and age constantly. ~ Nina Power
Losing Power quotes by Nina Power
Do we really want the people who created $40 trillion of unfunded liabilities in Social Security and Medicare in charge of our health care? Faceless bureaucrats, power-lusting politicians, and people spending other people's money are a recipe for disaster. ~ Ed Crane
