Intentional Living quotes by Michael Hyatt
What could be a better use of your time than establishing a game plan for your life? ~ Michael Hyatt
Intentional Living quotes by Michael Hyatt
Intentional living is the bridge to significance. At the end of every year, I take time out to reflect and evaluate the events of the previous year - what went well and what needed improvement. From that inventory, I lay out my next year - how I intend to live, make the best use of time and maximize adding value to others. Success asks, 'How can I add value to myself?' Significance asks, 'How can I add value to others?' It is your intention that lends itself to significance. ~ John C. Maxwell
Intentional Living quotes by John C. Maxwell
Having clarity on where you want to go is one of the most critical components of your life. ~ Michael Hyatt
Intentional Living quotes by Michael Hyatt
What do I wish I could be doing if money or status were not an issue? ~ Michael Hyatt
Intentional Living quotes by Michael Hyatt
Product must be intentional ~ Sunday Adelaja
Intentional Living quotes by Sunday Adelaja
How we live as leaders matters. ~ Michael Hyatt
Intentional Living quotes by Michael Hyatt
Manifestation of life we desire
can easily be compared to sowing seeds.
A seed sprouts depending on whether it has been thrown
into a fertile ground or sand,
and the same goes for our soul's desire.

For the seeds to sprout and grow,
they need a healthy, fertile land, without unnecessary ballast,
which on the level of the mind are the outlived patterns, fears
and limitations we have taken upon ourselves as our own.

Just like the farmer ploughs his field and enriches the soil,
it is up to us to maintain the best possible conditions
for the sprouting and development of our being.

Let us remove the rocks and sand from our field,
maintain the fertile soil,
devote the time to caring for our spirit and mind,
and our field of life will prosper in abundance. ~ Petra Poje - Keeper Of The Eye
Intentional Living quotes by Petra Poje - Keeper Of The Eye
You can't change the past, but all of us have the power to change the future. ~ Michael Hyatt
Intentional Living quotes by Michael Hyatt
Anything worthwhile is opposed. ~ Michael Hyatt
Intentional Living quotes by Michael Hyatt
You get what you focus on. What we see ahead impacts the actions we take right now. How we live and lead is directly connected to what we see. ~ Michael Hyatt
Intentional Living quotes by Michael Hyatt
Accept the good, however big or small, with no strings attached. ~ Charles F. Glassman
Intentional Living quotes by Charles F. Glassman
If you don't have a plan for your life, someone else does. ~ Michael Hyatt
Intentional Living quotes by Michael Hyatt
In planning anything, the best place to begin is at the end. What outcome do you want? How do you want the story to end? How do you want to be remembered when you are gone? ~ Michael Hyatt
Intentional Living quotes by Michael Hyatt
I used to believe that I could do everything and be everywhere. I could work longer hours, make the dead line, cook delicious meals, play with the kids, get enough sleep, focus on my health. And I can absolutely can do all these things. But not at the same time. Not on the same day.
Realizing that was a delightful freedom. Letting go of that notion of constant balance was releasing a breath I didn't realize I'd been holding.
You mean I don't have to be everything to everyone all the time? I don't have to keep all the balls in the air all the time? I can change balls? I can choose different balls?
Balance is finding the correct weight for every area of life and understanding that the correctness of that weight will change over time. Balance is fluid and flexible. Balance is alive and aware. Balance is intention.

This idea of balance- a correctness rather than an equalness has taught me some of the most important lessons of my life.

- I can not be everything to everyone
- I can not be in all places at once.
- Saying yes to one thing means saying no to another.
- Saying no to one thing means I can say yes to another.
- Perfection doesn't exist. Let it go.
- I can not change people
- I have to stop comparing myself to others. They aren't me. I'm not them.
- I will never finish the laundry
- I can't control everything
- Bad things happen to good people and vice versa.
- My kids aren't me.
Brooke McAlary
Intentional Living quotes by Brooke McAlary
Hell begins on that day when God grants us a clear vision of all that we might have achieved, of all the gifts we wasted, of all that we might have done that we did not do. ~ John C. Maxwell
Intentional Living quotes by John C. Maxwell
If an opportunity is not aligned with that matters most to you (your core values), let it pass. The opportunities that don't make your soul sing, or that you can't be excited about, just end up taking space where a better opportunity could be. Don't settle for something fine―wait for something great! ~ Leanne Jacobs
Intentional Living quotes by Leanne Jacobs

Intentional Living quotes by Sunday Adelaja
Do whatever it takes to increase your sensitivity to the little things in life you wouldn't otherwise notice, much less savor, if your autopilot setting is hurry. You've got to power down frequently enough to enjoy the effects of intentional living. ~ Tsh Oxenreider
Intentional Living quotes by Tsh Oxenreider
Goals and dreams are not purposed to please others. I'd rather be the jester who adds value to those around me than a King with no vision or intention of making a difference. ~ Janna Cachola
Intentional Living quotes by Janna Cachola
It takes definitive action to see positive gains. ~ Michael Hyatt
Intentional Living quotes by Michael Hyatt

Without a clear destination in view, the challenges on the journey seem pointless. ~ Michael Hyatt
Intentional Living quotes by Michael Hyatt
Picture who you were 10 years ago. You were a different person. Different goals. Different ideas. Different human. We irrationally believe we will be the same way we are today in 10 years. You won't. You'll be a totally new human. Who do you want to be? Whoever it is, do it on purpose. Intentionally. ~ Richie Norton
Intentional Living quotes by Richie Norton
The busier you are, the more intentional you must be. ~ Michael Hyatt
Intentional Living quotes by Michael Hyatt
You need to see a future with such clarity and desirability that you will go through all the uncomfortable things like throws at you to attain it. ~ Michael Hyatt
Intentional Living quotes by Michael Hyatt
When we have clarity on our destination and are grounded in our current reality, we are equipped to make the best decisions possible. ~ Michael Hyatt
Intentional Living quotes by Michael Hyatt
I found that those friends of mine who welcomed the unseen into the realm of their seen offered immediate understanding. Some are Christians, some are not. Most are artists of some kind or other; artistry can extend to a way of being, of living lovingly in this world. Many seem to have almost a spiritual affinity for the unmarked trail, armed only with True North. ["Leap With Faith" Blogpost By Carolyn Weber - July 27, 2011] ~ Carolyn Weber
Intentional Living quotes by Carolyn Weber
The more belief and confidence we feel toward achieving our goal, the higher the probability of our making the changes required to hit our targets. ~ Michael Hyatt
Intentional Living quotes by Michael Hyatt
Everyone is driven by the need to fill their life with meaning. Sometimes this need is articulated clearly and then a purpose emerges and that leads to a sense of direction and a sense of mission. Most times it is not. So the void is filled with action. People have kids, gets mortgages, raise families, pay bills, go to work each day without asking why and then, some day, they die. Some times all this is enough. Many times it's not. Action fills the void nicely. Makes each day feel tiring. But without a sense of purpose. Without a sense of vision, it leads to a pattern of behavior that doesn't lead anywhere. Most times we die before we realize this of course. ~ David Amerland
Intentional Living quotes by David Amerland
Every form of life communicates. Listen. There is something fascinating about Distance, it keeps more mysteries than we could digest in a lifetime, although at some level it represents an abstraction, it is so palpable that it is even experienced in the skin. Possibly a long stretch (gap, interval, or space) that protects us but through which we extend a strong bond, which ends up linking us with that something that seems to be beyond our range, or perhaps, has been all the time within us, waiting to be discovered. Guessing, the mere fact of thinking about Distance carries an insinuating load, which attracts, or perhaps emanates, complex emotions. Thus giving this thought a function, an intention, a direction, life, and purpose. ~ Efrat Cybulkiewicz
Intentional Living quotes by Efrat Cybulkiewicz
The 5 Principles of JOMO:

1. JOMO is the opposite of FOMO (the Fear Of Missing Out).

2. JOMO is intentionally choosing what to keep and what to give.

3. JOMO is choosing to ignore the Joneses (NOT just NOT keep up).

4. JOMO is framing the moment to keep the big picture dream in focus.

5. JOMO is the art of improved results with minimalism over maximalism. ~ Richie Norton
Intentional Living quotes by Richie Norton
Just as an apple a day keeps the doctor away,a book a week keeps the mind ever sleek ~ Azuka Onwuka
Intentional Living quotes by Azuka Onwuka
I wanted to be a sex goddess. And you can laugh all you want to. The joke is on me, whether you laugh or not. I wanted to be one -- one of them. They used to laugh at Marilyn when she said she didn't want to be a sex-goddess, she wanted to be a human being. And now they laugh at me when I say, "I don't want to be a human being; I want to be a sex-goddess." That shows you right there that something has changed, doesn't it? Rita, Ava, Lana, Marlene, Marilyn -- I wanted to be one of them. I remember the morning my friend came in and told us that Marilyn had died. And all the boys were stunned, rigid, literally, as they realized what had left us. I mean, if the world couldn't support Marilyn Monroe, then wasn't something desperately wrong? And we spent the rest of the goddamned sixties finding out what it was. We were all living together, me and these three gay boys that adopted me when I ran away, in this loft on East Fifth Street, before it became dropout heaven -- before anyone ever said "dropout" -- way back when "commune" was still a verb? We were all -- old-movie buffs, sex-mad -- you know, the early sixties. And then my friend, this sweet little queen, he came in and he passed out tranquilizers to everyone, and told us all to sit down, and we thought he was just going to tell us there was a Mae West double feature on somewhere -- and he said -- he said -- "Marilyn Monroe died last" -- and all the boys were stunned -- but I -- I felt something sudden and cold in my solar pl ~ Robert Patrick
Intentional Living quotes by Robert Patrick
A person who has not been completely alienated, who has remained sensitive and able to feel, who has not lost the sense of dignity, who is not yet "for sale", who can still suffer over the suffering of others, who has not acquired fully the having mode of existence - briefly, a person who has remained a person and not become a thing - cannot help feeling lonely, powerless, isolated in present-day society. He cannot help doubting himself and his own convictions, if not his sanity. He cannot help suffering, even though he can experience moments of joy and clarity that are absent in the life of his "normal" contemporaries. Not rarely will he suffer from neurosis that results from the situation of a sane man living in an insane society, rather than that of the more conventional neurosis of a sick man trying to adapt himself to a sick society. In the process of going further in his analysis, i.e. of growing to greater independence and productivity, his neurotic symptoms will cure themselves. ~ Erich Fromm
Intentional Living quotes by Erich Fromm
If we stay where we are, where we're stuck, where we're comfortable and safe, we die there. We become like mushrooms, living in the dark, with poop up to our chins. If you want to know only what you already know, you're dying. You're saying: Leave me alone; I don't mind this little rathole. It's warm and dry. Really, it's fine.
When nothing new can get in, that's death. When oxygen can't find a way in, you die. But new is scary, and new can be disappointing, and confusing - we had this all figured out, and now we don't.
New is life. ~ Anne Lamott
Intentional Living quotes by Anne Lamott
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen. ~ Reinhold Niebuhr
Intentional Living quotes by Reinhold Niebuhr
My experience is that the teachers we need most are the people we're living with right now. ~ Byron Katie
Intentional Living quotes by Byron Katie
All religions are nothing but a science - or an art - to teach you how to die. And the only way to teach you how to die is to teach you how to live. They are not separate. If you know what right living is, you will know what right dying is. So the first thing, or the most fundamental thing is: how to live. ~ Rajneesh
Intentional Living quotes by Rajneesh
I have a house in Stratford and I got a house in Atlanta but I don't really live anywhere
I live on the road. I'm kind of like living in a suitcase, travelling so much. ~ Justin Bieber
Intentional Living quotes by Justin Bieber
..When I walk across my living room from my chimney to my window, it takes me 10 seconds, but for a bird it takes one second, and for oxygen zero seconds! ~ Jean-Claude Van Damme
Intentional Living quotes by Jean-Claude Van Damme
When I look at a drawing of a person, I look at that person as living. ~ Francesco Clemente
Intentional Living quotes by Francesco Clemente
You would think as you get older your mind would fill up with what they call the spiritual side of things, but mine just seems to get more and more practical, trying to get something settled. ~ Alice Munro
Intentional Living quotes by Alice Munro
I'm living everyday like a hustle. Another drug to juggle. Another day, another struggle. ~ The Notorious B.I.G.
Intentional Living quotes by The Notorious B.I.G.
You desire to know the art of living, my friend? It is contained in one phrase: make use of suffering.
~ Henri Frederic Amiel
Intentional Living quotes by Henri Frederic Amiel
Creating an intentional, prioritized, and written plan for your day is everything. Planning how you will use your time is the number one strategy for achieving your own 5 a.m. miracle. It is the most important element in this book and it is the key difference-maker between success and failure. ~ Jeff Sanders
Intentional Living quotes by Jeff Sanders
Accustom yourself to the belief that death is of no concern to us, since all good and evil lie in sensation and sensation ends with death. Therefore the true belief that death is nothing to us makes a mortal life happy, not by adding to it an infinite time, but by taking away the desire for immortality. For there is no reason why the man who is thoroughly assured that there is nothing to fear in death should find anything to fear in life. So, too, he is foolish who says that he fears death, not because it will be painful when it comes, but because the anticipation of it is painful; for that which is no burden when it is present gives pain to no purpose when it is anticipated. Death, the most dreaded of evils, is therefore of no concern to us; for while we exist death is not present, and when death is present we no longer exist. It is therefore nothing either to the living or to the dead since it is not present to the living, and the dead no longer are. ~ Epicurus
Intentional Living quotes by Epicurus
People are born in a certain place, and in a certain society. I don't mean to sound like a determinist, but to think we're entirely free to do whatever we want betrays a certain class perspective. For most people who have to work for a living, and work at jobs under conditions they may not like, it's just not simple when it comes to freedom. ~ Thomas Frank
Intentional Living quotes by Thomas Frank
The way to choose happiness is to follow what is right and real and the truth for you. You can never be happy living someone else's dream. Live your own. And you will for sure know the meaning of happiness. ~ Oprah Winfrey
Intentional Living quotes by Oprah Winfrey
We're living in a world now where consumers are bombarded with thousands of commercial messages - they're everywhere you look. Unless you can cut through that and engage someone, I think you are lost. Consumers are now clearly in control. They control what they hear and see, when, and where. You have to find ways to allow them to actively engage with you, or the money you spend is wasted. ~ Rochelle B Lazarus
Intentional Living quotes by Rochelle B Lazarus
The sun was up - stuck like half a tinned apricot on a sky awash with all the colours of a fading bruise. Down below the living dead were forming their complaining queues at bus stops. ~ Helen Hodgman
Intentional Living quotes by Helen Hodgman
The media in the States can be quite self-reflective. When I lived in England, I was much more aware of the day-to-day politics that were happening. Living somewhere where the media involvement is greater and so omnipresent, you become pulled into it and, at the same time, because of that, politics changes and the way it's handled changes. ~ Max Minghella
Intentional Living quotes by Max Minghella
Where you find obesity, you'll find poverty. It's a reflection of the South's struggle to raise its standard of living. ~ William R. Ferris
Intentional Living quotes by William R. Ferris
The first thing which I can record concerning myself is, that I was born. These are wonderful words. This life, to which neither time nor eternity can bring diminution - this everlasting living soul, began. My mind loses itself in these depths. ~ Groucho Marx
Intentional Living quotes by Groucho Marx
They go to work, attend a meeting
Write an equation, have a beer,
Hail colleagues with a cheerful greeting,
Are conscientious, sane and sincere,
Rational, able and fastidious.
Through hardened casing no invidious
Tapeworm of doubt, no guilt, no qualm,
Pierces to Sabotage their claim.
When something's technically attractive,
You follow the conception through,
That's all. What if you leave a slew
Of living dead, of radioactive
"Collateral damage" in its wake?
It's just a job, for heaven's sake. ~ Vikram Seth
Intentional Living quotes by Vikram Seth
When you broaden the little box that you've been living in for so long, it can be very uncomfortable at first. ~ Banks
Intentional Living quotes by Banks
This isn't going to work," Justine murmured. "It is going to work ," I told her, keeping my tone confident. "We'll breeze right in. The Rack will be with us." Justine glanced at me with an arched eyebrow. "The Rack?" "The Rack is more than just boobs, Justine," I told her soberly. "It's an energy field created by all living boobs. It surrounds us, penetrates us, and binds the galaxy together." Andi started giggling. "You're insane." "But functionally so," I said, and adjusted myself to round out a little better. "Just let go your conscious self and act on instinct." Justine stared blankly at me for a second. Then her face lightened and she let out a little laugh. "The Rack will be with us?" I couldn't stop myself from cracking a smile. "Always. ~ Jim Butcher
Intentional Living quotes by Jim Butcher
One day the Galloways got a little more excitement than we were prepared for. We moved around a lot and at this point we were living in a trailer park in Auburn, Alabama. Hoss and I were out in the front yard on our regular patrol while my older sister Jennifer and younger sister Sara were playing by themselves. Sara was three years old and I guess she decided she wanted to go for a ride. My dad's blue truck was out in front of the house and apparently he'd forgotten about the parking brake. The truck was in gear as Sara managed to pull the door open and muscle herself up into the cab. As she climbed in and got situated she kicked the truck out of gear with her tiny sneakered foot. The truck started rolling down the driveway toward a ditch. Jennifer started screaming.
Faster than a speeding bullet I leapt into action! I ran toward her, blue cape flying in the wind behind me. I reached the truck. I grabbed on to the door frame of the open passenger side of the truck. I told Sara everything would be okay, and I stuck my heels down in the mud and pulled back with all my might. The mud was spewing from either side of my firmly planted boots as I started to slide along with the truck. I never lost my grip and I am convinced I was able to slow the roll down enough for Mom and Dad to come running out of the house. Dad jumped up into the truck and was able to throw the brake to stop the truck while Mom scooped up Sara. Super Noah saved the day. At least I wanted to believe that. ~ Noah Galloway
Intentional Living quotes by Noah Galloway
A contentious, belligerent Christian isn't living according to the Spirit but according to the flesh. When we stubbornly insist on our own way and are insensitive to others, peace is not our goal. ~ Billy Graham
Intentional Living quotes by Billy Graham
Documenting one's life in the midst of living it is a strange pursuit. ~ Rosanne Cash
Intentional Living quotes by Rosanne Cash
intentional: if you meddle in our affairs, we'll ~ Douglas Preston
Intentional Living quotes by Douglas Preston
Because I am an officer and a gentleman they have given me my notebooks, pen, ink and paper. So I write and wait. I am committed to no cause, I love no living person. The fact that I have no future except what you can count in hours doesn't seem to disturb me unduly. After all, the future whether here or there is equally unknown. So for the waiting days I have only the past to play about with. I can juggle with a series of possibly inaccurate memories, my own interpretation, for what is worth, of events. There is no place for speculation or hope, or even dreams. Strangely enough I think I like it like that. ~ Jennifer Johnston
Intentional Living quotes by Jennifer Johnston
You could say people are living longer because of the decline in religion. Not many people believe in the hereafter, so they keep going. ~ Cyril Clarke
