Leaders emerged on both sides and, driven by greed, they fed off the town's ignored bloodshed. They created ravines out of cracks, fostered hatred and grew richer. I prefer to speak of"primacy" rather than superiority in this context since both sets of traits are necessary to propagate the race. Initially, class privilege was not discussed by white women in the women's movement.
