One morning as I closed the cyclone-fence gate / to begin a slow drift / down to the cookhouse on foot / (because my truck wheels were glued / in deep mud once again), / I walked straight into / the waiting non-arms of a snake, / its tan beaded-bag skin / studded with black diamonds.
Up it coiled to speak to me a eye level. / Imagine! that sleek finger / rising out of the land's palm / and coiling faster than a Hindu rope. / The thrill of a bull snake / startled in the morning / when the mesas lie pooled / in a custard of light / kept me bright than ball lightning all day.
Praise leapt first to mind / before flight or danger, / praise that knows no half-truth, and pardons all. ~ Diane Ackerman
Half Truth quotes by Diane Ackerman
Losing you is most difficult for me, but the nature of my love for you is what matters. If it distorts into half-truth, then perhaps it is better not to love you. I must keep my mind but loose you. ~ Haruki Murakami
Half Truth quotes by Haruki Murakami
Proverbs should be sold in pairs, a single one being but a half truth. ~ William Mathews
Half Truth quotes by William Mathews
There is a terrible blindness in the love that wants only to accommodate. It's not only to do with omissions and half-truths. It implants a lack of being in the speaker and robs the self of an identity without which it is impossible for one to grow close to another. ~ Alexander Theroux
Half Truth quotes by Alexander Theroux
One goes to Nature only for hints and half-truths. Her facts are crude until you have absorbed them or translated them ... It is not so much what we see as what the thing seen suggests. ~ John Burroughs
Half Truth quotes by John Burroughs
about you?" Thomas nodded, "I have three names, Mr. McGuire, Thomas Charles Hooper." James smiled back, "That's fine. How old might you be, Thomas?" "I'm seven." "Seven, boy? You're older than we thought," Captain McGuire smiled through the half-truth. "And, where are you from?" Thomas ~ C. T. Marshall
Half Truth quotes by C. T. Marshall
Two half truths do not make a truth. ~ Arthur Koestler
Half Truth quotes by Arthur Koestler
The whole truth is generally the ally of virtue; a half-truth is always the ally of some vice. ~ G.K. Chesterton
Half Truth quotes by G.K. Chesterton
Yeah, well all I can say is that a half truth is a still a while lie, ain't it ... ~ Terry McMillan
Half Truth quotes by Terry McMillan
A half-truth is usually less than half of that. ~ Bernard Williams
Half Truth quotes by Bernard Williams
I hung on to that half-truth with the same tenacity with which I grasped a candlestick and hurled it at the wall, and when I walked through the door once more, it was with a slam that shook the stars. ~ Staci Hart
Half Truth quotes by Staci Hart
A half truth is much worse than a whole lie because it makes it even harder to tell the difference between the two. ~ Gene Ruyle
Half Truth quotes by Gene Ruyle
There is only one truth. There cannot be two truths. It's hard to live with no truth, with scraps of truth, with a half-truth. A partial truth is no truth at all. Let the wonderful silence of this night be the truth, the whole truth... Let us remember the good in these men; let us remember their great achievements. ~ Vasily Grossman
Half Truth quotes by Vasily Grossman
Do you want a half-truth or truth?" "Truth." "Then you will have to trust me." His voice was suddenly softer than the fire sounds, melting into the silence within the stones. "Beyond logic, beyond reason, beyond hope. Trust me." Morgon ~ Patricia A. McKillip
Half Truth quotes by Patricia A. McKillip
We must admit that our opponents in this argument have a marked advantage over us. They need only a few words to set forth a half-truth; whereas, in order to show that it is a half-truth, we have to resort to long and arid dissertations. ~ Frederic Bastiat
Half Truth quotes by Frederic Bastiat
It is twice as hard to crush a half-truth as a whole lie ... ~ Austin O'Malley
Half Truth quotes by Austin O'Malley
But he had gained a perspective of thought in which every extreme was seen as a half-truth, ~ Will Durant
Half Truth quotes by Will Durant
From the cowardice that dare not face new truth, from the laziness that is contented with half truth, from the arrogance that thinks it knows all truth, good Lord, deliver us. ~ Kenyan Prayer
Half Truth quotes by Kenyan Prayer
Gossip lies nine times and tells a half truth the tenth. ~ Lucy Maud Montgomery
Half Truth quotes by Lucy Maud Montgomery
Democracy is a constant tension between truth and half-truth and, in the arsenal of truth, there is no greater weapon than fact. ~ Lyndon B. Johnson
Half Truth quotes by Lyndon B. Johnson
The purpose of satire has been rightly stated as to strip off the veneer of comforting illusion and cosy half truth, and our job, as I see it, is to put it back again! ~ Michael Flanders
Half Truth quotes by Michael Flanders
Human half-truth logic, dates back to Adam and Eve, when he tried to deceive God with a truth, 'we knew we were naked so we hid', leaving God to understand that something was wrong with Adam's logic, because if Adam knew THE TRUTH, he would know that you can't hide from God. ~ Caesar J. B. Squitti
Half Truth quotes by Caesar J. B. Squitti
A half-truth is even more dangerous than a lie. A lie, you can detect at some stage, but half a truth is sure to mislead you for long. ~ Anurag Shourie
Half Truth quotes by Anurag Shourie
Leaning toward a certain party is one thing (Matthew did it, Simon did it, and Jesus allowed it), but it is important to see that a partisan spirit can actually run against the Spirit of God. If there ever was a partisan crowd in the Bible, it was the crowd that pressured Pilate to crucify Jesus instead of Barabbas. Barabbas, a true criminal, went free while Jesus, an innocent man, was executed after having his impeccable character assassinated. This is the essence of partisanship. Partisans inflate the best features of their party while inflating the worst features, real or contrived, of the other party. They ignore the weaknesses of their own party while dismissing the other party's strengths. I have good friends on both sides of the political aisle. I trust them. Many of them - on both sides - have a strong commitment to their faith. Because of this I grow perplexed when Christian men and women willingly participate in spin - ready, willing, and armed to follow the world in telling half-truths to promote their candidates, while telling more half-truths to demonize their opponents. Have we forgotten that a half-truth is the equivalent of a full lie? What's more, political spin is polarizing even within the community of faith. ~ Scott Sauls
Half Truth quotes by Scott Sauls
In battling evil, excess is good; for he who is moderate in announcing the truth is presenting half-truth. He conceals the other half out of fear of people's wrath. ~ Khalil Gibran
Half Truth quotes by Khalil Gibran
As the places where Americans dwell become evermore depressing and impossible, Disneyworld is where they escape to worship the nation in the abstract, a cartoon capital of a cartoon republic enshrining the falsehoods, half-truths, and delusions that prop up the squishy thing the national character has become
for instance, that we are a nation of families; that we care about our fellow citizens; that history matters; that there is a place called home. ~ James Howard Kunstler
Half Truth quotes by James Howard Kunstler
In an average day, you may well be confronted with some species of bullying or bigotry, or some ill-phrased appeal to the general will, or some petty abuse of authority. If you have a political loyalty, you may be offered a shady reason for agreeing to a lie or a half-truth that serves some short-term purpose. Everybody devises tactics for getting through such moments; try behaving "as if" they need not be tolerated and are not inevitable. ~ Christopher Hitchens
Half Truth quotes by Christopher Hitchens
Being generally deemed a good person often requires one to tell a half-truth, not to tell the truth, or to tell a complete lie. ~ Mokokoma Mokhonoana
Half Truth quotes by Mokokoma Mokhonoana
Half-truths are like half a brick - they can be thrown farther. ~ Hyman Rickover
Half Truth quotes by Hyman Rickover
Recently I began reading my old diaries. Back to before the war. Gradually I became very depressed. The reason for that is probably that I wrote only when there were obstacles and halts to the flow of life, seldom when everything was smooth and even ... As I read I distinctly felt what a half-truth a diary presents. ~ Kathe Kollwitz
Half Truth quotes by Kathe Kollwitz
There's a traditional Kenyan prayer: From the cowardice that dares not deal with new truth, from the laziness that is content with half-truth, from the arrogance that thinks it knows all truth, Good Lord, deliver me. ~ Joni Rodgers
Half Truth quotes by Joni Rodgers
You always have a choice," he said, which was a half-truth if ever there was one. ~ Neal Shusterman
Half Truth quotes by Neal Shusterman
The world has long observed that small acts of immorality, if repeated, will destroy character. It is equally manifest, though never said, that uttering nonsense and half-truth without cease ends by destroying Intellect ~ Jacques Barzun
Half Truth quotes by Jacques Barzun
We ought not to extract pernicious honey from poison blossoms of misrepresentation and mendacious half-truth, to pamper the course appetite of bigotry and self-love. ~ Samuel Taylor Coleridge
Half Truth quotes by Samuel Taylor Coleridge
I've noticed. What's up with you these days?"
Adrian returned the sandwich to the box as he debated over what to tell her. One thing he had never done, was lie to Ricky and he was not going to start now. "I…uh…I have an infection," he finally conceded – it was a half-truth, right? "It seems to be eating at my brain. ~ Jacqueline Francis - The Journal
Half Truth quotes by Jacqueline Francis - The Journal
You must never believe everything they say about a person. Generally speaking, most of it will be lies, half-truths at best. ~ Kate Atkinson
Half Truth quotes by Kate Atkinson
half truth can be more harmful than a full lie. ~ Deepak Goyal
Half Truth quotes by Deepak Goyal
The most intangible, and therefore the worst, kind of a lie is a half truth. This is the peculiar device of a conscientious detractor. ~ Washington Allston
Half Truth quotes by Washington Allston
Individual human beings are all tools, that the others use to help us all survive." "That's a lie." "No. It's just a half truth. You can worry about the other half after we win this war. ~ Orson Scott Card
Half Truth quotes by Orson Scott Card
Sometimes we pass a full judgement on half seen, half heard and a half truth.
~Dr Gorakh Bobde ~ Dr GORAKH BOBDE
Half Truth quotes by Dr GORAKH BOBDE
If people depend on me to be a man of truth, I have to prove again and again and again and again that I am a man of truth. It cannot be that on Monday I am a man of truth, on Tuesday I speak three-quarters truth, Wednesday I speak half-truth, on Thursday I speak one-quarter truth, on Friday I don't speak at all, and on Saturday I can't even think how to speak the truth. ~ Harbhajan Singh Yogi
Half Truth quotes by Harbhajan Singh Yogi
A half-truth is a whole lie, my mother says. ~ Michelle Hodkin
Half Truth quotes by Michelle Hodkin
A half-truth does more mischief than a whole lie. ~ Ivan Panin
Half Truth quotes by Ivan Panin
Living out one's faith is either no way to live or the only way to live; it's either imprisonment, or the only path to freedom. It offers happiness, or it frustrates the pursuit. There is no half-love, half-religion, half-worship, half-belief, half-truth. There is no kinda-sorta. ~ Tarek Saab
Half Truth quotes by Tarek Saab
When the public protests. confronted with some obvious evidence of damaging results of pesticide applications, it is fed little tranquilizers pills of half truth. ~ Rachel Carson
Half Truth quotes by Rachel Carson
How much more relevant could God be than to be a provider of food for life? What good is religion if it cannot feed the hungry? Satan was perilously and painfully close to a truth. But it was a half-truth, and a half-truth gets so interwoven with a lie that it becomes deadlier by the mix. Ask yourself this question: What kind of a following would result if the sole reason for the affection toward the leader is that he provides his followers with bread? Both motives would be wrong - for the provider and the receiver. These are the terms of reward and punishment that are mercenarily tainted and have diminishing returns, at best engendering compliance, but not love. Their appeal, too, is soon lost when offered as enticements or when withheld to engender fears. Dependence without commitment will ever look for ways to break the stranglehold. The ~ Ravi Zacharias
Half Truth quotes by Ravi Zacharias
Too often scholars have thought and even suggested that what happened during and after Constantine was that the church sought to replace the pagan temples, priests, and sacrifices with their own. This is at best a half truth. If this had been primarily what was going on, we would have expected to find priestesses showing up in the mainstream church in and after the time of Constantine, since there were certainly priestesses in the pagan temples. But this we do not find in the historical record. This is because the church of that period was not merely trying to supplant pagan religion with Christian religion, though some of that was going on. More to the point, there was a rising tide of anti-Judaism, and one of its manifestations was this Old Testament hermeneutic. The Torah had been claimed as the church's book, Jews were being ostracized and then later ghettoized, and a hermeneutic of ministry was being adopted which co-opted the Old Testament for church use when it came to priests, temples, and sacrifices, and indeed sacraments in general. Thus ironically enough while the structure of the ecclesial church was becoming more Old Testamental, the church hierarchy was not only becoming less tolerant of Jews, it was forgetting altogether the Jewish character of Jesus' ministry and his modifications of the Passover that led to the Lord's Supper celebration of the early church in the first place. ~ Ben Witherington III
Half Truth quotes by Ben Witherington III
Language is a piss poor attempt at telepathy is what it is. We try to put our thoughts into each other's heads through language ... But half the intended meaning gets lost in the transmission, and the other half is filtered through existing assumptions. Everything is a half truth!
That's the whole problem! You can't understand me through the smog of your presumptions and prejudices. Multiply that six billion times and you'll begin to understand the desperation of our global situation ~ Tony Vigorito
Half Truth quotes by Tony Vigorito
A half-truth is 90% of the story. The other 10% is tithed to God. ~ Jarod Kintz
Half Truth quotes by Jarod Kintz
Sweep up the debris of decaying faith;
Sweep down the cobwebs of worn-out out beliefs,
And throw your soul wide open to the light of reason and of knowledge.
Be not afraid
To thrust aside half-truths and grasp the whole. ~ Ella Wheeler Wilcox
Half Truth quotes by Ella Wheeler Wilcox
It is either a half-truth or a truth and a half. ~ Karl Kraus
Half Truth quotes by Karl Kraus
The truth is always a compound of two half- truths, and you never reach it, because there is always something more to say. ~ Tom Stoppard
Half Truth quotes by Tom Stoppard
The foulest damage to our political life comes not from the 'secrets' which they hide from us, but from the little bits of half-truth and disinformation which they do tell us. These are already pre-digested, and then are sicked up as little gobbits of authorised spew. The columns of defense correspondents in the establishment sheets serve as the spittoons. ~ E.P. Thompson
Half Truth quotes by E.P. Thompson
A half-truth is the most cowardly of lies. ~ Mark Twain
Half Truth quotes by Mark Twain
The statement that 'abortions is a women's choice over her body' is a half-truth, because there are two heart+beats, not one. ~ Teresa Squitti
Half Truth quotes by Teresa Squitti
Being rich and powerful does that to you. You don't get a chance to offer any clarification because people dare not ask you a thing. They would prefer to hear someone else's half truth, then make up the other half, and then whisper a twisted version in someone else's ear. The whole matter gets distorted in no time, so much so, that it no longer resembles the actual facts. ~ Neena H. Brar
Half Truth quotes by Neena H. Brar
An aphorism is never exactly true; it is either a half-truth or one-and-a-half truths. ~ Karl Kraus
Half Truth quotes by Karl Kraus
Give those who are gentle strength,
Give those who are strong a generous imagination,
And make their half-truth true and let the crooked
Footpath find its parent road at length.
...
For never to begin
Anything new because we know there is nothing
New, is an academic sophistry
The original sin.
I have already had friends
Among things and hours and people
But taking them one by one
odd hours and passing people;
Now I must make amends
And try to correlate event with instinct
And me with you or you with you with all,
No longer think of time as a waterfall
Abstracted from a river. ~ Louis MacNeice
Half Truth quotes by Louis MacNeice
It is important to communicate to children about what we are going through. We often speak in half truths. We don't frame the truth or explain our experience in terms they can understand. We need to take time to do this. What has to happen is that more people have to get involved with more children. Focus energy on the child. Children are raising themselves these days in all sorts of strange ways. ~ James Redfield
Half Truth quotes by James Redfield
A lie can only make a temporary sense. The truth is permanent and lasts forever. ~ Michael Bassey Johnson
Half Truth quotes by Michael Bassey Johnson
Maxims are sharp-edged half-truths. ~ Mason Cooley
Half Truth quotes by Mason Cooley
He tells not a half truth, but a truth and a half ~ Nicholas Shakespeare
Half Truth quotes by Nicholas Shakespeare

Half Truth quotes by Ursula K. Le Guin
An epigram is a half-truth so stated as to irritate the person who believes the other half. ~ Shailer Mathews
Half Truth quotes by Shailer Mathews
The polls demonstrate that 50 percent of Americans who get their news from TV think Saddam Hussein was behind the Twin Towers attack. Man, have they got ways for getting half-truths out right away now, thanks to TV! I think TV is a calamity in a democracy. ~ Kurt Vonnegut
Half Truth quotes by Kurt Vonnegut
Half-truths can be as deceptive as outright lies. ~ David Limbaugh
Half Truth quotes by David Limbaugh
[ ... ] it is generally accepted that the Civil War was fought over the issue of slavery. That, at best, is a half-truth. Slavery was an issue, but the primary force for war was a clash between the economic interests of the North and the South. Even the issue of slavery itself was based on economics. ~ G. Edward Griffin
Half Truth quotes by G. Edward Griffin
I knew I had to keep him to myself, as I'd slowly begun to keep everything. We had secrets now, truths and half-truths, that kept her always at arm's length, behind a closed door, miles away. ~ Sarah Dessen
Half Truth quotes by Sarah Dessen
Eventually I'll stop writing about you and it'll be bittersweet. Not because I'm not in love with you, but because I'll just love you. ~ Dominic Riccitello
Half Truth quotes by Dominic Riccitello
The words kept coming back to him, statement of a mystical truth and a palpable absurdity. ~ George Orwell
Half Truth quotes by George Orwell
Remorse, the fatal egg by pleasure laid,
In every bosom where her nest is made,
Hatched by the beams of truth, denies him rest,
And proves a raging scorpion in his breast. ~ William Cowper
Half Truth quotes by William Cowper
While you're governing the colony and I'm writing political philosophy, They'll never guess that in the darkness of night we sneak into each other's room and play checkers and have pillow fights. ~ Orson Scott Card
Half Truth quotes by Orson Scott Card
understanding a question is half an answer ~ Socrates
Half Truth quotes by Socrates
If you can't love yourself the world will only hate you. ~ Debasish Mridha
Half Truth quotes by Debasish Mridha
It is a profound and necessary truth that the deep things in science are not found because they are useful; they are found because it was possible to find them. ~ J. Robert Oppenheimer
Half Truth quotes by J. Robert Oppenheimer
Millions and millions of years would still not give me half enough time to describe that tiny instant of all eternity when you put your arms around me and I put my arms around you. ~ Jacques Prevert
Half Truth quotes by Jacques Prevert
Avoid extremes. Don't make a distinction between outer and inner and don't become one of Jung's types, either extrovert or introvert.

Sosan says: Be flowing, balancing. Outer and inner are just like the right and left leg. Why choose one? If you choose one, all movement stops. They are like two eyes: if you choose one then you will be able to see but your vision is no more three dimensional, the depth is lost. You have two ears: you can use one, you can be addicted to the idea that you are a left ear type or a right ear type, but then you lose. Then half the world is closed to you.

The inner and outer are just two eyes, two ears, two legs – why choose? Why not use both choicelessly? And why divide? Because you are one! The left leg and the right leg only appear two. You flow within both – the same energy, the same being. You look through both your eyes. Why not use inner and outer and give them a balance? Why move to the extreme? ~ Osho
Half Truth quotes by Osho
You know what writers say about their long books: If I had another year, the book would be half as long. ~ David Remnick
Half Truth quotes by David Remnick
Truth is congenial to man. Moral truth is then most consummate when, like beauty, it commends itself without argument. The righteous not only does right, but loves to do right. ~ Francis William Newman
Half Truth quotes by Francis William Newman
If we reduce batch sizes by half, we also reduce by half the time it will take to process a batch. That means we reduce queue and wait by half as well. Reduce those by half, and we reduce by about half the total time parts spend in the plant. Reduce the time parts spend in the plant and our total lead time condenses. And with faster turn-around on orders, customers get their orders faster. ~ Eliyahu M. Goldratt
Half Truth quotes by Eliyahu M. Goldratt
There are questions so indiscreet, that they deserve neither truth nor falsehood in reply. ~ Sophie Swetchine
Half Truth quotes by Sophie Swetchine
The mind is in its own nature when it is calm. The moment you can calm it, that [very] moment you will know the truth. ~ Swami Vivekananda
Half Truth quotes by Swami Vivekananda
I have been doing so much. Speaking engagements ... producing ... developing a half-hour sitcom ... working on a movie ... leading acting workshops all over the world ... and hosting 'My Black Is Beautiful,' an empowerment TV show I'm doing on BET for women. ~ Tasha Smith
Half Truth quotes by Tasha Smith
Some thought he was quite wicked, but in truth, he was no more or less than any other crow: enamored of bright new things, and too clever to get them by the usual path. ~ Catherynne M Valente
Half Truth quotes by Catherynne M Valente
Life is like a beer. When the bubbles blew over, that was when the beer started. The beer is only half as good without the foam. ~ Vann Chow
Half Truth quotes by Vann Chow
My mom's smile is genuine,
A lilac beaming
In the presence of her Sun.

Indentions in the sand prove
Time's linear progression,

Her hair yet unblighted,
Carrying midnight's consistency.

Clear tracks fading as the
Movement slips further
In the past.

Cheekbones
High, soft,
In summer's hue,
Hopeful.

Each step's unknown impact,
A future looking back.

My father's strength:
One whose
Life is in his arms.

Squinting past the camera,
He rests upon a rock
Like caramel corn half eaten,

Just to the left
Of man-made concrete convention

Daylight's eraser
Removing color to his right.

Dustin sits
In my father's lap,
Open mouth of a drooling
Big mouth bass;

Muscle tone
Of a well exercised
Jelly fish,

He looks at me
Half aware;

His wheelchair
Perched at the edge
Of parking lot gravel grafted
Like a scar on nature's beach,

Opening to the ironic splendor
Of a bitter tasting lake.

I took the picture.

Age 11.

Capturing the pinnacle arc
Of a son
To my lilac
Who
Outlived him and weeps,

Still.

Their sky has staple holes –

Maybe that's how the
Light
Leaked out. ~ Darcy Leech
Half Truth quotes by Darcy Leech
There's one other thing I'd like to remind you of, my dear. There've been many times when you've sworn to me that after all that life has dealt you, it was no longer possible for you to believe in anything. I replied that both life and my studies had led me to the same conclusion. I asked you, 'What is a person permitted, once he's realized that truth is unattainable and consequently doesn't exist for him?' Do you remember your answer?"
"I do, ibn Sabbah. I said something like this: 'If a person realized that everything people call happiness, love and joy was just a miscalculation based on a false premise, he'd feel a horrible emptiness inside. The only thing that could rouse him from his paralysis would be to gamble with his own face and the face of others. The person capable of that would be permitted anything. ~ Vladimir Bartol
Half Truth quotes by Vladimir Bartol
The truth shall set your soul free. ~ Lailah Gifty Akita
Half Truth quotes by Lailah Gifty Akita
When you love someone, they become a part of who you are. They're in everything you do. They're in the air you breathe and the water you drink and the blood in your veins. Their touch stays on your skin and their voice stays in your ears and their thoughts stay in your mind. You know their dreams because their nightmares pierce your heart and their good dreams are your dreams too. And you don't think they're perfect, but you know their flaws, the deep-down truth of them, and the shadows of all their secrets, and they don't frighten you away; in fact you love them more for it, because you don't want perfect. You want them. You want - "
He broke off then, as if realizing everyone was looking at him again.
"You want what?" said Dru with enormous eyes.
"Nothing," Julian said. "I'm just talking. ~ Cassandra Clare
Half Truth quotes by Cassandra Clare
And then the disquieting thought would come to him that perhaps after all epitaphs are not altogether to be trusted. ~ Hope Mirrlees
Half Truth quotes by Hope Mirrlees
We keep secrets from people that we love because we're afraid of our own truth. I think sometimes we're afraid to hurt people, because you never know. I think we're afraid of what is, and what can't be. ~ Lauren London
Half Truth quotes by Lauren London
I do not think discursively. It is not so much that I arrive at truth as that I take my start from it. ~ Nikolai Berdyaev
Half Truth quotes by Nikolai Berdyaev
Truth cannot be found, son. It finds you. ~ Carlos Ruiz Zafon
Half Truth quotes by Carlos Ruiz Zafon
Four Years Since

Today I remember the day but to be honest it is everyday
That day then, the moment then, when you left us all here
More than just a father I call, a gem I treasure, that day I lost
We four girls, my mom's other half, my brothers best bud, our first love, we lost
Holding the key to the future called You, I stand still facing the gate of the past

Why I keep on asking the same question?
Why you? Why out of all those people? Why too soon? Why?
It has been years, 4 years exact, it seems like yesterday yes
You were taken too soon, words aren't enough to express
It's not fair, but who I am to blame, who Am I to question?

My eyes express longing you cannot fathom
From my open mouth my broken heart pours
Words that try to capture that image so faint
He is the picture I could not ever paint
Yet our memories is in the solid bowl being kept

Spare me even just 5 or 10 minutes of your presence
To build up this longing I feel, I am asking
I want to hear your nag; I want to hear your laugh
In my dreams please see me there
I won't get afraid nor get frightened

Like a waterfalls my tears keeps on flowing
Like a bubble your voice keeps on vanishing
He, his shadow, he himself starts from fading
I don't want to forget you please stop time from ticking
I don't want to open my eyes don't wake me from dreaming

You are t ~ Venancio Mary Ann
Half Truth quotes by Venancio Mary Ann
Know sincere well through the real acts of sincere and not just through its mere words and deceptive actions that end in deep regret before you give your true heart to sincere. So many people have trusted because of sincere but they only saw the mere word and image of sincere and not the real meaning and action of sincere! ~ Ernest Agyemang Yeboah
Half Truth quotes by Ernest Agyemang Yeboah
Half a league, half a league,
Half a league onward,
All in the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred. ~ Alfred Lord Tennyson
Half Truth quotes by Alfred Lord Tennyson
The deeper you look into Truth; your reflection of self disappears. ~ Deborah Brodie
Half Truth quotes by Deborah Brodie
But fear is confusing. It tears you in two. Half of you wants to run far, far away, but the other half is paralyzed, frozen, immovable. And the hard part is that you never know which half is going to win. ~ Melody Carlson
Half Truth quotes by Melody Carlson
Friends are like books, you learn from every one of them. ~ Debasish Mridha
