You share hopes for the future, dreams that will never come true, goals that were never achieved and the many disappointments life has thrown at you. When something wonderful happens, you can't wait to tell them about it, knowing they will share in your excitement. ~ Bob Marley
Future Dreams quotes by Bob Marley
Believe in a brighter future. ~ Lailah Gifty Akita
Future Dreams quotes by Lailah Gifty Akita
She remembered the days when they'd been each other's everything, when just being together was enough. When she believed their love could conquer the world. How long had it been since Michael had said her name in that special way, when they'd talked all night about their dreams and their future? ~ Dominique Wilson
Future Dreams quotes by Dominique Wilson
There is nothing like a dream to create the future. ~ Victor Hugo
Future Dreams quotes by Victor Hugo
Your life is like this tree, deeply rooted, with a solid foundation and countless branches linking your past throes with future dreams. Every tree faces inevitable storms and strong winds testing the strength of its roots. Branches break; new ones grow. It will flower and leaves will fall. And from your tree new life will emerge. In the end, though, with purpose and perseverance your tree will prevail, and each will be beautifully individual and uniquely different. A full circle of such. ~ Riley Mackenzie
Future Dreams quotes by Riley Mackenzie
Dreams come from the past, not from the future. Dreams shouldn't control you
you should control them. ~ Haruki Murakami
Future Dreams quotes by Haruki Murakami
Future dreams distract you from present nightmares. ~ Matshona Dhliwayo
Future Dreams quotes by Matshona Dhliwayo
I've always been interested in photographing traditions and customs - especially in America. The prom is an American tradition, a rite of passage that has always been one of the most important rituals of American youth. It is a day in our lives that we never forget - a day full of hopes and dreams for our future. ~ Mary Ellen Mark
Future Dreams quotes by Mary Ellen Mark
Hidden inside every flower are seeds of imagination, destiny and future dreams. ~ Sondra Faye
Future Dreams quotes by Sondra Faye
Your dreams of today creates your future. ~ Lailah Gifty Akita
Future Dreams quotes by Lailah Gifty Akita
Live in hope. Because things do happen. Things do change. Worry really is futile. Don't fear the future. Dreams do come true. ~ Miranda Hart
Future Dreams quotes by Miranda Hart
There is no limit as to what we can learn. Through study, we can learn from the past. Experience can empower us to handle the present. For those who desire to learn of the future, dreams hold a subtle key.
Not all things we see, as we sleep, should be cast aside as non-consequential rubbish. It is true that the mind can play many tricks ... but it can also send you messages meant to be deciphered at a later date. ~ Jaime Buckley
Future Dreams quotes by Jaime Buckley
Dreams sometimes foretell the future. ~ Mickey Hart
Future Dreams quotes by Mickey Hart
Each man should frame life so that at some future hour fact and his dreaming meet. ~ Victor Hugo
Future Dreams quotes by Victor Hugo
What really defines me? Is it my past: regrets, failure, and mistakes? Is it my future: dreams, goals, and everything that I have been pushing aside for another time? Maybe I am defined by who I am, right now, not by my actions from before or my actions yet to come but by my mind and everything that is going on inside it. My mind is what defines me, the way it was created my past, the way it will be will create my future. My thoughts, my intents, my values define who I am and create my entire life: actions, failures, successes. ~ Avina Celeste
Future Dreams quotes by Avina Celeste
And while she works on herself, moving ahead in her career, expanding her mind through books and art, and keeping her life fulfilled with hobbies, family, and good friends, she's waiting, waiting for that man who will remain poised, sharp, and attentive in the face of her past hurts, present insecurities, and future dreams. And that's what the Shit Test is meant to find - the man who is smart and sharp enough to make her insecurities feel like they're inconsequential or baseless; the man who will protect her - not necessarily from the outside world - she's a tough chick and can do that on her own - but from herself. ~ Olyvia Apple
Future Dreams quotes by Olyvia Apple
Mind is nothing but dreams and dreams - dreams of the past, dreams of the future, dreams of how things should be, dreams of great ambitions, achievements. Dreams and desires, that is the stuff mind is made of. But it surrounds you like a China Wall. And because of it the fish remains unaware of the ocean. ~ Rajneesh
Future Dreams quotes by Rajneesh
Dreams are composed of many things, my son. Of images and hopes, of fears and memories. Memories of the past, and memories of the future ... ~ Neil Gaiman
Future Dreams quotes by Neil Gaiman
Here I am, a bundle of past recollections and future dreams, knotted up in a reasonably attractive bundle of flesh. I remember what this flesh has gone through; I dream of what it may go through. ~ Sylvia Plath
Future Dreams quotes by Sylvia Plath
If you talk to your children, you can help them keep their lives together. If you talk to them skillfully, you can help them to build future dreams. ~ Jim Rohn
Future Dreams quotes by Jim Rohn
I looked for Gary in all of the Gary places, but I was too early. These places were all haunted by the future of Gary. ~ Sam Lipsyte
Future Dreams quotes by Sam Lipsyte
We are not to be anxious about the unknown future or to fret about it. We are to live in a moment-by-moment dependence upon God. ~ James Montgomery Boice
Future Dreams quotes by James Montgomery Boice
Maastricht had three significant side-effects. One of them was the unforeseen boost it gave to NATO. Under the restrictive terms of the Treaty it was clear (as the French at least had intended) that the newly liberated countries of eastern Europe could not possibly join the European Union in the immediate future - neither their fragile legal and financial institutions nor their convalescent economies were remotely capable of operating under the strict fiscal and other regulations the Union's members had now imposed upon all present and future signatories.

Instead, it was suggested in the corridors of Brussels that Poland, Hungary and their neighbours might be offered early membership of NATO as a sort of compensation: an interim prize. The symbolic value of extending NATO in this way was obviously considerable, which is why it was immediately welcomed in the new candidate member-states. The practical benefits were less obvious (unlike the damage to relations with Moscow which was real and immediate). But because Washington had reasons of its own for favouring the expansion of the North Atlantic Defense community, a first group of central European nations was duly admitted to NATO a few years later. ~ Tony Judt
Future Dreams quotes by Tony Judt
Today you will have countless opportunities to take action towards any dream or goal you've ever had. No matter how long you've waited, it's never too late. Let today be the day you give life to your dreams and goals. Don't throw away another day! ~ Steve Maraboli
Future Dreams quotes by Steve Maraboli
I'm reading a book that actually scares me. It is not a form of fear that is embodied in some irrational phobia of a specific object, living being, or an event, but a fear of words, of actions of beings towards one another, how one word or command wrongly distributed can destroy someone or many people. How following blindly into the paths of something you truly believe is right without any rationale to back it up or the thought of the consequences it can cause may blindly lead others to their death. How in that moment, thinking you're doing it for the right reasons, you ignore all the laws of nature that tell you that human life is sacred and that no one man's ideals can ever compensate for its loss. To have the power to destroy and cause suffering without much care. This is a fear of what humanity is turning into, and such a future truly scares me. ~ Aliaa El-Nashar
Future Dreams quotes by Aliaa El-Nashar
Forever continue to love, heal and educate the children. The future shines on them. ~ Michael Jackson
Future Dreams quotes by Michael Jackson
Entrepreneurs don't believe the future is predictable - but they do believe that they can create the future themselves. ~ Max McKeown
Future Dreams quotes by Max McKeown
Fueled by the need to interpret the past, to explore the present, and to imagine the future, each generation shapes the world of books. ~ Pawan Mishra
Future Dreams quotes by Pawan Mishra
Where human eyes have never seen, where human beings have never been, I build a world of abstract dreams, and I wait for you. ~ Sun Ra
Future Dreams quotes by Sun Ra
The future is carved out of the present moment. Tomorrow's harvest depends upon today's ploughing and sowing. ~ Chinmayananda Saraswati
Future Dreams quotes by Chinmayananda Saraswati
Tilda cared nothing for the future, and had, as a result, a great capacity for happiness. ~ Penelope Fitzgerald
Future Dreams quotes by Penelope Fitzgerald
In each moment is a choice. You can choose to be good or to be bad. To be active or inactive in the pursuit of dreams. A choice to change your life or to stay where you are. There is always a choice to be made. ~ Avina Celeste
Future Dreams quotes by Avina Celeste
The definition of the problem, rather than its solution, will be the scarce resource in the future. ~ Esther Dyson
Future Dreams quotes by Esther Dyson
It had me," he said. "The shark had me. I was, literally, about to be torn in two. You saved me. In the nick of time, you saved me."
"You're welcome," Skulduggery said.
"I was talking to Valkyrie."
Skulduggery's head tilted. "But I'm the one who figured it all out."
Valkyrie grinned. "You're very welcome, Geoffrey, although I can't take all the credit. China helped, you know."
"But I carver the right symbol," Skulduggery said.
Scrutinous clasped Valkyrie hand in his. "If there is anything I can do for you in the future, anything at all, do not hesitate to ask."
Skulduggery looked at him. "Can I ask, too?"
"No."
"Why not?"
"Valkyrie cared that I was being attacked. You told me to shut up."
"That's because your screaming was very annoying. How is that my fault? ~ Derek Landy
Future Dreams quotes by Derek Landy
In dreams lie forgotten lifetimes of joy and torment, leaving only the shadow of memory. ~ Kenneth Calhoun
Future Dreams quotes by Kenneth Calhoun
I have a lot of reason to believe, as we saw in the 2012 election, most Americans don't agree with the extremists on any side of an issue, but there needs to continue to be an effort to find common ground, or even take it to higher ground on behalf of the future. ~ Hillary Clinton
Future Dreams quotes by Hillary Clinton
Where is hope there is a life and future. ~ Euginia Herlihy
Future Dreams quotes by Euginia Herlihy
Her baby boy would play little league baseball, star in the school play and be good at math. She didn't know then that she should have had much simpler dreams for her beautiful son, that she should have looked upon her newborn baby boy and thought 'I hope you learn to talk and use the bathroom by the time you're seven. ~ Lisa Genova
Future Dreams quotes by Lisa Genova
What a wonderful song, she thought-everything was wonderful tonight, most of all this romantic scene in the den with their hands clinging and the inevitable looming charmingly close. The future vista of her life seemed an unending succession of scenes like this: under moonlight and pale starlight, and in the backs of warm limousines and in low cosy roadsters stopped under sheltering trees-only the boy might change, and this one was so nice. ~ F Scott Fitzgerald
Future Dreams quotes by F Scott Fitzgerald
All right," Eric agreed. "If you were me, and your wife were sick, desperately so, with no hope of recovery, would you leave her? Or would you stay with her, even if you had traveled ten years into the future and knew for an absolute certainty that the damage to her brain could never be reversed? And staying with her would mean-"
"I can see what it would mean, sir," the cab broke in. "It would mean no other life for you beyond caring for her."
"That's right," Eric said.
"I'd stay with her," the cab decided.
"Why?"
"Because," the cab said, "life is composed of reality configurations so constituted. To abandon her would be to say, I can't endure reality as such. I have to have uniquely special easier conditions."
"I think I agree," Eric said after a time. "I think I will stay with her."
God bless you, sir," the cab said. "I can see that you're a good man. ~ Philip K. Dick
Future Dreams quotes by Philip K. Dick
Past and future veil God from our sight; burn up both of them with fire ~ Eckhart Tolle
Future Dreams quotes by Eckhart Tolle
The perspective that law enforcement is presenting seems to be a very narrow one that's focused very, very heavily on investigations of past crimes rather than on preventing future crimes. It's very important for policymakers to take that broader view because they're the ones who are trusted to look at the big picture. ~ Matt Blaze
Future Dreams quotes by Matt Blaze
Unlike economics, whose sole preoccupation in our finance-obsessed era is the near-term profit motive, history offers a way to place our tiny lifespans in a narrative that spans dozens of generations - perhaps even reaching into a future where capitalism is no longer our dominant form of economic organization. ~ Annalee Newitz
Future Dreams quotes by Annalee Newitz
If I'd found out that Norman Mailer liked me, I'd have killed myself. I think he was too hung up. I'm glad Kurt Vonnegut didn't like me either. He had problems, terrible problems. He couldn't see the world the way I see it. I suppose I'm too much Pollyanna, he was too much Cassandra. Actually I prefer to see myself as the Janus, the two-faced god who is half Pollyanna and half Cassandra, warning of the future and perhaps living too much in the past - a combination of both. But I don't think I'm too over optimistic. ~ Ray Bradbury
Future Dreams quotes by Ray Bradbury
Everything had become song. The curve of the road beneath the clouds here, and there the strokes of dark earth, the green and the gray, the torn pink of clay and gravel under fingertips. The consonance was above all that of the muffled shadow and grass to the depths of sky, where a flutter of cheerful feathers quivered.

In these dreams there are also black walnut trees, and then a forest that opens in a breeze. Nothing. Nothing more than the obstinate sound of wind. ~ Deborah Heissler
Future Dreams quotes by Deborah Heissler
In this [fashion] business you're living in the future a lot of the time. ~ Karen Walker
Future Dreams quotes by Karen Walker
I was brought up in a family of leaders, and I think leadership is a life sentence. I like changing things that will shape the future. ~ Jenny Shipley
Future Dreams quotes by Jenny Shipley
In the Society, we don't call out beyond our own bodies, the walls of our rooms. When we scream it is only in the world of our own dreams, and I have never been sure who hears. ~ Ally Condie
Future Dreams quotes by Ally Condie
Extraordinary creatures you young people are, altogether. The past you hate, the present you despise, and the future is a matter of indifference. How do you suppose that can lead to any good end? ~ Erich Maria Remarque
Future Dreams quotes by Erich Maria Remarque
I think the language as spoken in Limerick and Cork has not really been written; 'City of Bohane' is a combination of the two. Bohane is a little kingdom. When I began writing it, I realised that it was in the future and that it was a place that didn't care about anything that happened outside it. ~ Kevin Barry
Future Dreams quotes by Kevin Barry
If I am to believe everything that I see in the media, happiness is to be six foot tall or more and to have bleached teeth and a firm abdomen, all the latest clothes, accessories, and electronics, a picture-perfect partner of the opposite sex who is both a great lover and a terrific friend, an assortment of healthy and happy children, a pet that is neither a stray nor a mongrel, a large house in the right sort of postcode, a second property in an idyllic holiday location, a top-of-the-range car to shuttle back and forth from the one to the other, a clique of 'friends' with whom to have fabulous dinner parties, three or four foreign holidays a year, and a high-impact job that does not distract from any of the above. There are at least three major problems that I can see with this ideal of happiness. (1) It represents a state of affairs that is impossible to attain to and that is in itself an important source of unhappiness. (2) It is situated in an idealised and hypothetical future rather than in an imperfect but actual present in which true happiness is much more likely to be found, albeit with great difficulty. (3) It has largely been defined by commercial interests that have absolutely nothing to do with true happiness, which has far more to do with the practice of reason and the peace of mind that this eventually brings. In short, it is not only that the bar for happiness is set too high, but also that it is set in the wrong place, and that it is, in fact, the wrong bar. J ~ Neel Burton
