Both groups [of pundits] were critics, and that is the heart of the problem. If you are a pundit, you seem so smart when you are telling the President what he did wrong ... This [is] mostly BS. ~ Jeffrey A. Miller
Democracy Freedom quotes by Jeffrey A. Miller
Freedom in capitalist society always remains about the same as it was in ancient Greek republics: Freedom for slave owners. ~ Vladimir Ilyich Lenin
Democracy Freedom quotes by Vladimir Ilyich Lenin
As Taiwan's friend and ally, I believe it is important for the United States to monitor the situation in the Taiwan Strait very carefully to help ensure Taiwan is not forced into a position which would endanger its freedom or its democracy. ~ Jim Costa
Democracy Freedom quotes by Jim Costa
In politics as in philosophy, my tenets are few and simple. The leading one of which, and indeed that which embraces most others, is to be honest and just ourselves and to exact it from others, meddling as little as possible in their affairs where our own are not involved. If this maxim was generally adopted, wars would cease and our swords would soon be converted into reap hooks and our harvests be more peaceful, abundant, and happy. ~ George Washington
Democracy Freedom quotes by George Washington
Equality is the heart and essence of democracy, freedom, and justice, equality of opportunity in industry, in labor unions, schools and colleges, government, politics, and before the law. There must be no dual standards of justice, no dual rights, privileges, duties, or responsibilities of citizenship. No dual forms of freedom. ~ A. Philip Randolph
Democracy Freedom quotes by A. Philip Randolph
What made America great was her ability to transform her own dream into hope for all mankind. America did not tell the millions of men and women who came from every country in the world and who -- with their hands, their intelligence and their heart -- built the greatest nation in the world: 'Come, and everything will be given to you.' She said: 'Come, and the only limits to what you'll be able to achieve will be your own courage and your own talent. ~ Nicolas Sarkozy
Democracy Freedom quotes by Nicolas Sarkozy
Freedom of expression - in particular, freedom of the press - guarantees popular participation in the decisions and actions of government, and popular participation is the essence of our democracy. ~ Corazon Aquino
Democracy Freedom quotes by Corazon Aquino
The first duty of a man is to think for himself ~ Jose Marti
Democracy Freedom quotes by Jose Marti
I was right outside the NSA [on 9/11], so I remember the tension on that day. I remember hearing on the radio, 'the plane's hitting,' and I remember thinking my grandfather, who worked for the FBI at the time, was in the Pentagon when the plane hit it ... I take the threat of terrorism seriously, and I think we all do. And I think it's really disingenuous for the government to invoke and sort-of scandalize our memories to sort-of exploit the national trauma that we all suffered together and worked so hard to come through
and to justify programs that have never been shown to keep us safe, but cost us liberties and freedoms that we don't need to give up, and that our Constitution says we should not give up. ~ Edward Snowden
Democracy Freedom quotes by Edward Snowden
Democracy, freedom and liberty do not make us more than what we are; it is our commitment that matters. ~ M.F. Moonzajer
Democracy Freedom quotes by M.F. Moonzajer
LIBERTY!
FREEDOM!
DEMOCRACY!
True anyhow no matter how many
Liars use those words. ~ Langston Hughes
Democracy Freedom quotes by Langston Hughes
The government bailed out the corporate sector. while the people thay supported the government financally, were ignored and left to fend for themselves. is this what you call democracy? ~ Jeffrey Fischer
Democracy Freedom quotes by Jeffrey Fischer
So much of liberalism in its classical sense is taken for granted in the west today and even disrespected. We take freedom for granted, and because of this we don't understand how incredibly vulnerable it is. ~ Niall Ferguson
Democracy Freedom quotes by Niall Ferguson
What if good institutions were in fact the product of good intentions? What if the cynicism that is supposed to be rigor and the acquisitiveness that is supposed to be realism are making us forget the origins of the greatness we lay claim to - power and wealth as secondary consequences of the progress of freedom, or, as Whitman would prefer, Democracy? ~ Marilynne Robinson
Democracy Freedom quotes by Marilynne Robinson
I knew I was alone in a way that no earthling has ever been before. ~ Michael Collins
Democracy Freedom quotes by Michael Collins
The more degrees of freedom there are in practice, the wider the discussion and debate can be. ~ Thomas Newkirk
Democracy Freedom quotes by Thomas Newkirk
We can enhance democracy by making it in line with its original vision. Read the dollar bill - E pluribus unum, out of many, one; novus ordo seclorum, a new order of the ages. That's democracy. ~ Barbara Marx Hubbard
Democracy Freedom quotes by Barbara Marx Hubbard
So words play a very important part in our lives. Our life, it appears, is a network of complicated, interrelated words. Words have a great impact upon us, like 'god', 'democracy', 'freedom', 'totalitarianism'. These words conjure up familiar images. The words 'wife' and 'husband' are part of our everyday currency. But the word 'wife' is not actually the living person, with all her complexities and troubles. So the word is never the actual.

When the word becomes all-important, the living, the actual is neglected. ~ Jiddu Krishnamurti
Democracy Freedom quotes by Jiddu Krishnamurti
Violent ideologies speak their own language; core concepts are translated to maintain the system while appearing to support the people. Under carnism, for instance, democracy has become defined as having the freedom to choose among products that sicken our bodies and pollute our planet, rather than the freedom to eat our food and breathe our air without the risk of being poisoned. But violent ideologies are inherently undemocratic, as they rely on deception, secrecy, concentrated power, and coercion
all practices that are incompatible with a free society. While the larger system, or nation, may appear democratic, the violent system within it is not. This is one reason we don't recognize violent ideologies that exist within seemingly democratic systems; we simply aren't thinking to look for them. ~ Melanie Joy
Democracy Freedom quotes by Melanie Joy
As opposition leader, [Stephen Harper] wrote in the Montreal Gazette in the year before he came to power: 'Information is the lifeblood of a democracy. Without adequate access to key information about government policies and programs, citizens and parliamentarians cannot make informed decisions and incompetent or corrupt governments can be hidden under a cloak of secrecy.'
When he became prime minister, his attitude appeared to undergo a shift of considerable proportions. It often took the Conservatives twice as long as previous governments to handle access requests. Sometimes it took six months to a year. ~ Lawrence Martin
Democracy Freedom quotes by Lawrence Martin
But love, like the sun that it is, sets afire and melts everything. what greed and privilege to build up over whole centuries the indignation of a pious spirit, with its natural following of oppressed souls, will cast down with a single shove. ~ Jose Marti
Democracy Freedom quotes by Jose Marti
The reality is that we are hated not because of our democracy, freedoms, and generous social security system; rather, we are hated because of our involvement in foreign conflicts and quarrels that were never our concern. ~ Amir Butler
Democracy Freedom quotes by Amir Butler
It's easy to reach the top. You have to bow. ~ Ljupka Cvetanova
Democracy Freedom quotes by Ljupka Cvetanova
I'm sorry, but I don't want to be an emperor. That's not my business. I don't want to rule or conquer anyone. I should like to help everyone if possible; Jew, Gentile, black man, white. We all want to help one another. Human beings are like that. We want to live by each other's happiness, not by each other's misery. We don't want to hate and despise one another. In this world there is room for everyone, and the good earth is rich and can provide for everyone. The way of life can be free and beautiful, but we have lost the way. Greed has poisoned men's souls, has barricaded the world with hate, has goose-stepped us into misery and bloodshed. We have developed speed, but we have shut ourselves in. Machinery that gives abundance has left us in want. Our knowledge has made us cynical; our cleverness, hard and unkind. We think too much and feel too little. More than machinery, we need humanity. More than cleverness, we need kindness and gentleness. Without these qualities, life will be violent and all will be lost. The airplane and the radio have brought us closer together. The very nature of these inventions cries out for the goodness in men; cries out for universal brotherhood; for the unity of us all. Even now my voice is reaching millions throughout the world, millions of despairing men, women, and little children, victims of a system that makes men torture and imprison innocent people. To those who can hear me, I say, do not despair. The misery that is now upon us is but the ~ Charlie Chaplin
Democracy Freedom quotes by Charlie Chaplin
But you can live in the most democratic country on earth, and if you're lazy, obtuse or servile within yourself, you're not free. ~ Ignazio Silone
Democracy Freedom quotes by Ignazio Silone
It is wrong to ask who will rule. The ability to vote a bad government out of office is enough. That is democracy. ~ Karl Popper
Democracy Freedom quotes by Karl Popper
He was one of the great intellectuals of the 1940s who completed
their higher studies in the West and returned to their country to
apply what they had learned there - lock, stock, and barrel - within
Egyptian academia. For people like them, "progress" and "the West"
were virtually synonymous, with all that that entailed by way of positive
and negative behavior. They all had the same reverence for the
great Western values - democracy, freedom, justice, hard work, and
equality. At the same time, they had the same ignorance of the nation's
heritage and contempt for its customs and traditions, which they considered
shackles pulling us toward Backwardness from which it was
our duty to free ourselves so that the Renaissance could be achieved. ~ Alaa Al Aswany
Democracy Freedom quotes by Alaa Al Aswany
Men in western governments who were themselves are often modern men, did not understand that freedom without chaos is not a magic formula which can be implanted anywhere. Rather, being modern men, it was their view that, because human race had evolved to a certain level by some such year as 1950, democracy could be planted anywhere from the outside. They had carefully closed their eyes to the fact that freedom without chaos had come forth from a Christian base. They did not understand that freedom without chaos could not be separated from its roots. ( ... ) Many countries where democracy has been imposed from the outside or from top downward, authoritarianism has increasingly become the rule of the day ~ Francis A. Schaeffer
Democracy Freedom quotes by Francis A. Schaeffer
To view the opposition as dangerous is to misunderstand the basic concepts of democracy. To oppress the opposition is to assault the very foundation of democracy. ~ Aung San Suu Kyi
Democracy Freedom quotes by Aung San Suu Kyi
Democracy is when the indigent, and not the men of property, are the rulers. ~ Aristotle.
Democracy Freedom quotes by Aristotle.
What is democracy? If it is the rule of the majority, ignoring the rest, then it is not good, it is very bad! But if it is the rule of the whole citizens, caring the wills of both the majority and the rest, then it is good, then it is real democracy! And the purpose of every real democracy is to be a modern country, to be a modern structure! ~ Mehmet Murat Ildan
Democracy Freedom quotes by Mehmet Murat Ildan
It's important to remember that peace, liberty and freedom changes many aspects in our thoughts as far as life is concerned. ~ Auliq Ice
Democracy Freedom quotes by Auliq Ice
Democracy substitutes election by the incompetent many for appointment by the corrupt few. ~ George Bernard Shaw
Democracy Freedom quotes by George Bernard Shaw
America is stronger than ever. We will forever remember those we lost on September 11, 2001. In honoring their memory, we will remain true to our commitment to freedom and democracy. ~ Evan Bayh
Democracy Freedom quotes by Evan Bayh
Many people don't understand how disciplined you have to be to play jazz ... And that is really the idea of democracy - freedom within the Constitution or discipline. You don't just get out there and do anything you want. ~ Dave Brubeck
Democracy Freedom quotes by Dave Brubeck
The problem of the world today is the people talk on and on about democracy, freedom, justice. But I don't give a damn about democracy if I am worried about survival. ~ Imelda Marcos
Democracy Freedom quotes by Imelda Marcos
When widely followed public figures feel free to say anything, without any fact-checking, it becomes impossible for a democracy to think intelligently about big issues. ~ Thomas L. Friedman
Democracy Freedom quotes by Thomas L. Friedman
A desire for privacy does not imply shameful secrets; Moglen argues, again and again, that without anonymity in discourse, free speech is impossible, and hence also democracy. The right to speak the truth to power does not shield the speaker from the consequences of doing so; only comparable power or anonymity can do that. ~ Nick Harkaway
Democracy Freedom quotes by Nick Harkaway
Collective freedom is one devoid of material bondage and one that supports the institutions necessary for democracy. ~ Henry Giroux
Democracy Freedom quotes by Henry Giroux
ignorance is the enemy of democracy ~ Thomas Jeferson
Democracy Freedom quotes by Thomas Jeferson
To be a member of such a crowd ... is not much to be far removed from solitude; the freedom of everyone is assured by the freedom to which everyone else lays claim. ~ Remy De Gourmont
Democracy Freedom quotes by Remy De Gourmont
Secrecy begets tyranny. ~ Robert A. Heinlein
Democracy Freedom quotes by Robert A. Heinlein
It makes people feel good to say that all opinions are equal, because somehow, they correlate equality of opinions with equality of human dignity. And that's exactly where lies one of the most disgraceful and harmful perceptual errors of the society, that leads to an unfit government. ~ Abhijit Naskar
Democracy Freedom quotes by Abhijit Naskar
When enough people realize that they are slaves but don't have to be, revolutions happen. ~ J.S.B. Morse
Democracy Freedom quotes by J.S.B. Morse
To be or not to be, that is out of the question! I live in the 21st century. ~ Ljupka Cvetanova
Democracy Freedom quotes by Ljupka Cvetanova
Democracy is a con game. It's a word invented to placate people to make them accept a given institution. All institutions sing, 'We are free.' The minute you hear 'freedom' and 'democracy', watch out… because in a truly free nation, no one has to tell you you're free. ~ Jacque Fresco
Democracy Freedom quotes by Jacque Fresco
The Revolution introduced me to art, and in turn, art introduced me to the Revolution! ~ Albert Einstein
Democracy Freedom quotes by Albert Einstein
The fact that so many successful politicians are such shameless liars is not only a reflection on them, it is also a reflection on us. When the people want the impossible, only liars can satisfy. ~ Thomas Sowell
Democracy Freedom quotes by Thomas Sowell
In a society where the majority choose charisma over character, democracy does more harm than good to the actual progress of that society ~ Abhijit Naskar
Democracy Freedom quotes by Abhijit Naskar
A tree has roots in the soil yet reaches to the sky. It tells us that in order to aspire we need to be grounded and that no matter how high we go it is from our roots that we draw sustenance. It is a reminder to all of us who have had success that we cannot forget where we came from. It signifies that no matter how powerful we become in government or how many awards we receive, our power and strength and our ability to reach our goals depend on the people, those whose work remain unseen, who are the soil out of which we grow, the shoulders on which we stand ~ Wangari Maathai
Democracy Freedom quotes by Wangari Maathai
But we must accept one central truth and responsibility as participants in a democracy: Freedom is not a state; it is an act. It is not some enchanted garden perched high on a distant plateau where we can finally sit down and rest. Freedom is the continuous action we all must take, and each generation must do its part to create an even more fair, more just society. ~ John Lewis
Democracy Freedom quotes by John Lewis
Democracy feeds on argument, on the discussion as to the right way forward. This is the reason why respecting the opinion of others belongs to democracy. ~ Richard Von Weizsaecker
Democracy Freedom quotes by Richard Von Weizsaecker
All opinions are not equal, as far as running a people is concerned. ~ Abhijit Naskar
Democracy Freedom quotes by Abhijit Naskar
Democracy is not doing what I want. It's also letting others do what I want. ~ Ljupka Cvetanova
Democracy Freedom quotes by Ljupka Cvetanova
Despair is typical of those who do not understand the causes of evil, see no way out, and are incapable of struggle. ~ Vladimir Ilyich Lenin
Democracy Freedom quotes by Vladimir Ilyich Lenin
The most we can say of democracy or freedom is that they give our personal abilities a little more influence on our well-being. ~ Karl Popper
Democracy Freedom quotes by Karl Popper
[D]emocracy can itself be as tyrannical as a dictatorship, since it is the extent, not the source, of government power that impinges on freedom.
-William F Buckley ~ William F. Buckley, Jr.
Democracy Freedom quotes by William F. Buckley, Jr.
If large numbers of people believe in freedom of speech, there will be freedom of speech, even if the law forbids it. But if public opinion is sluggish, inconvenient minorities will be persecuted, even if laws exist to protect them.
[Freedom of the Park, Tribune, 7 December 1945] ~ George Orwell
Democracy Freedom quotes by George Orwell

Democracy Freedom quotes by Martin Luther King, Jr.
The United States and Israel have a unique relationship based on our mutual commitment to democracy, freedom, and peace. Therefore, just as our commitment to these principles must be steadfast, so must our support for Israel. ~ John Boehner
Democracy Freedom quotes by John Boehner
If freedom, democracy, and the rights of man are to be preserved through the ages, free men and women must accept the responsibilities that go with their freedoms. ~ Ronald Reagan
Democracy Freedom quotes by Ronald Reagan
If you believe in democracy, are you not thereby obliged to accept, without discrimination, the fall-outs that come with a democratic choice, even if this means the termination of the democratic process itself? ~ Wole Soyinka
Democracy Freedom quotes by Wole Soyinka
I have no quarrel with democrats in principle, except that they are as much frauds and liars as the rest. It is often said that mankind will not be free till the last king is strangled with the guts of the last priest; if you ask me, the man who ordered the strangling would promptly step forth to proclaim himself Lord Protector, and it would all begin again. ~ K.J. Charles
Democracy Freedom quotes by K.J. Charles
I am the son of a freedom fighter, and a son of a freedom fighter automatically imbibes the value of democracy. ~ Narendra Modi
Democracy Freedom quotes by Narendra Modi
All humans are equal, but not everyone has the mental capacity to decide what's best for harmony and progress of a people. ~ Abhijit Naskar
Democracy Freedom quotes by Abhijit Naskar
A child who does not think about what happens around him and is content with living without wondering whether he lives honestly is like a man who lives from a scoundrel's work and is on the road to being a scoundrel. ~ Jose Marti
Democracy Freedom quotes by Jose Marti
Not for the first time, I longed to tell someone that I was one of them, a sympathizer with the Left, a revolutionary fighting for peace, equality, democracy, freedom, and independence, all the noble things my people had died for and I had hid for. ~ Viet Thanh Nguyen
Democracy Freedom quotes by Viet Thanh Nguyen
It is an old and wise caution, that when our neighbor's house is on fire, we ought to take care of our own. For tho', blessed be God, I live in a government where liberty is well understood, and freely enjoy'd; yet experience has shown us all that bad precedent in one government is soon set up for an authority in another; and therefore I cannot but think it mine, and every honest man's duty that we ought at the same time to be upon our guard against power, wherever we apprehend that it may affect ourselves or our fellow subjects.
I should think it my duty, if required, to go to the utmost part of the land, where my service could be of any use in assisting to quench the flame of prosecutions upon informations, set on foot by the government, to deprive a people of their right to remonstrating (and complaining too) of the arbitrary attempts of men in power. ~ Andrew Hamilton
Democracy Freedom quotes by Andrew Hamilton
We know that freedom has a price. Democracy has a price. But maybe we paid a price that is higher than freedom and higher than democracy. There is always a price for freedom. But not this much. ~ Wendy Pearlman
Democracy Freedom quotes by Wendy Pearlman
It is part of the moral tragedy with which we are dealing that words like 'democracy,' 'freedom,' 'rights,' 'justice,' which have so often inspired heroism and have led men to give their lives for things which make life worthwhile, can also become a trap, the means of destroying the very things men desire to uphold. ~ Norman Angell
Democracy Freedom quotes by Norman Angell
Vaclav Havel was the most amazing man in terms of being the combination of somebody with massive moral authority, great courage for having espoused the concepts of democracy, freedom throughout a very difficult communist period, a very modest man, and somebody with a fabulous sense of humor and the idea of being able to see the absurd in situations. ~ Judy Woodruff
Democracy Freedom quotes by Judy Woodruff
The strength of the Constitution lies entirely in the determination of each citizen to defend it. Only if every single citizen feels duty bound to do his share in this defense are the constitutional rights secure. ~ Albert Einstein
Democracy Freedom quotes by Albert Einstein
He who in given cases consents to obey his fellows with servility, and who submits his will, and even his thoughts, to their control, how can he pretend that he wishes to be free? ~ Alexis De Tocqueville

Democracy Freedom quotes by J.R. Ortiz
Democracy is a device that ensures we shall be governed no better than we deserve. ~ George Bernard Shaw
Democracy Freedom quotes by George Bernard Shaw
Civil government, so far as it is instituted for the security of property, is in reality instituted for the defense of the rich against the poor, or of those who have some property against those who have none at all. ~ Adam Smith
Democracy Freedom quotes by Adam Smith
The rose that is democracy has its own thorns. We have to bear with it. ~ DON SANTO
Democracy Freedom quotes by DON SANTO
To celebrate freedom and democracy while forgetting American's origins in a slavery economy is patriotism à la carte. ~ Ta-Nehisi Coates
Democracy Freedom quotes by Ta-Nehisi Coates
I fear you do not fully comprehend the danger of abridging the liberties of the people. Nothing but the very sternest necessity can ever justify it. A government had better go to the very extreme of toleration, than to do aught that could be construed into an interference with, or to jeopardize in any degree, the common rights of its citizens. ~ Abraham Lincoln
Democracy Freedom quotes by Abraham Lincoln
We shared a bond I don't think can ever be broken. We helped them reclaim their nation, and they helped us reclaim ours. They showed us the meaning of democracy ... freedom, not just in vague, abstract terms, but on a very real, individually human level. Freedom isn't just something you have for the sake of having, you have to want something else first and then want the freedom to fight for it. That was the lesson we learned from the Nortecubanos. They all had such grand dreams, and they'd lay down their lives for the freedom to make those dreams come true. ~ Max Brooks
Democracy Freedom quotes by Max Brooks
Spiritual movements are revolts of thought against inertia, of the few against the many; of those who because they are strong in spirit are strongest alone against those who can express themselves only in the mass and the mob, and who are significant only because they are numerous. ~ Ludwig Von Mises
Democracy Freedom quotes by Ludwig Von Mises
How old are you, son?' Whitman asked.

'Going on seventeen.'

'So young,' he said, stroking the back of my hand with his poem-stained fingers. 'How did you come to lose your eye?'

I told him the story of my heroism, with embellishments--told it so well, I was nearly persuaded of my exceptional character.

'You sacrificed what little you had to call your own for democracy, freedom, and human dignity. You gave an eye, half of man's greatest blessing, when rich men up north paid a small price to keep themselves and their sons from harm.'

With those few words, accompanied by a glance that seemed to measure the dimensions of my meager existence, Whitman made me see myself as a sacrifice on the altar of wealth, but a hero notwithstanding. ~ Norman Lock
Democracy Freedom quotes by Norman Lock
i believe in the freedom of state where every people have to right develop their culture and maintain the democracy while two things are very essential justice and equality - Long Live Pakistan and Happy Independence Day ~ Avinash Advani
Democracy Freedom quotes by Avinash Advani
Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred. ~ Martin Luther King, Jr.
Democracy Freedom quotes by Martin Luther King, Jr.
Democracy must be something more than two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for dinner. ~ James Bovard
Democracy Freedom quotes by James Bovard
Peacefully protest for justice, transformational change and human rights are the heartbeats of democracy. ~ Amit Ray
Democracy Freedom quotes by Amit Ray
I see it as my duty to take a stand for the Iraqi people, for democracy, freedom and reconciliation. ~ Ayad Allawi
Democracy Freedom quotes by Ayad Allawi
Trade creates jobs and lifts people out of poverty. And when that happens, societies stabilize and grow. And there is nothing like a stable society to fight terrorism and strengthen democracy, freedom and rule of law. ~ Dennis Hastert
Democracy Freedom quotes by Dennis Hastert
The freedom to criticize judges and other public officials is necessary to a vibrant democracy. ~ Sandra Day O'Connor
Democracy Freedom quotes by Sandra Day O'Connor
Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want and deserve to get it good and hard. ~ H.L. Mencken
Democracy Freedom quotes by H.L. Mencken
The measure of man's ability to extend the sphere of social possibility can only start with the values of democracy. ~ Auliq Ice
Democracy Freedom quotes by Auliq Ice
We face a deep moral crisis, which we might also describe as a 'crisis of community.' Alongside increasing economic stratification and the continuation of an adaptive racism, a 'morality' of individualism has grown more and more severe. With this deadly combination, we have been losing the spirit that's needed to hold any community or any nation together: a sense of responsibility for each other. In the long term no community can survive when greed and irresponsibility are incentivized instead of reined in. This crisis point to a decision we have to make as a society: Do we want to live in a nation that is defined by inclusionary, solidaristic community values, or one that is defined by the moralistically bankrupt values of Wall Street and the bigoted, exclusionary "solidarity" of reactionaries? ~ Jonathan Smucker
Democracy Freedom quotes by Jonathan Smucker
There should be competition and exchanges between different countries, but there are certainly certain universal values, and that is freedom and democracy. ~ Mikhail Gorbachev
Democracy Freedom quotes by Mikhail Gorbachev
It is a paradoxical statement, but it takes incredible personal discipline to play with great freedom. ~ Dick Bennett
Democracy Freedom quotes by Dick Bennett
For me, running is about freedom. I find that the freer I feel, the faster I am. ~ Jennifer Beals
Democracy Freedom quotes by Jennifer Beals
Don't let people supervise your life, If you know who you are, you shouldn't be living in that prison of dominance, live by your orders, you are your own soldier. ~ Michael Bassey Johnson
Democracy Freedom quotes by Michael Bassey Johnson
All countries in my part of the world, we want democracy to prevail. I told the people, 'If you want American policies to stop, we need to take action.' We need to make the U.S. understand that its meddling is inappropriate. ~ Hassan Rouhani
Democracy Freedom quotes by Hassan Rouhani
Welcome to where time stands still
No one leaves and no one will
Moon is full, never seems to change
Just labeled mentally deranged
Dream the same thing every night
I see our freedom in my sight
No locked doors, No windows barred
No things to make my brain seem scarred ~ Metallica Welcome Home Sanitarium
