Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Kenyon
She grew into a forest, she could not be found. ~ Cynthia Dewi Oka
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Dewi Oka
The butterfly lures us not only because he is beautiful, but because he is transitory. The caterpillar is uglier, but in him we can regard the better joy of becoming. ~ Cynthia Ozick
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Ozick
Age is the biggest risk factor for many diseases. You're 100 times more likely to get a tumor at age 65 than age 35. It makes a huge difference. It gives a whole new meaning to preventive medicine. ~ Cynthia Kenyon
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Kenyon
I got to thinking - when it was too late - you have to reach out to people. To your family, too. You can't just let them sit there, you should put your hand out. If they slap it back, well you reach out again if you care enough. If you don't care enough, you forget about them, if you can. ~ Cynthia Voigt
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Voigt
You look like Euler's equation, he murmured as he looked me up and down.
Nerd translation: Euler's equation is said to be the most perfect formula ever written. Simple but elegant. Beautiful. ~ Cynthia Hand

If idiots could fly, this place would be an airport. ~ Cynthia Hand
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Hand
In 1952, I had gone to England on a literary pilgrimage, but what I also saw, even at that distance from the blitz, were bombed-out ruins and an enervated society, while the continent was still, psychologically, in the grip of its recent atrocities. ~ Cynthia Ozick
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Ozick
Reading is an escape, an education, a delving into the brain of another human being on such an intimate level that every nuance of thought, every snapping of synapse, every slippery desire of the author is laid open before you like, well, a book. ~ Cynthia Heimel
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Heimel
I am heat obsessed. I crave the heat in my bedroom. ~ Cynthia Nixon
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Nixon
Kingdom of Heaven is really a metaphor for a state of consciousness. ~ Cynthia Bourgeault
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Bourgeault
Not one woman over seventeen has any faith in her skin tone, and no woman over thirty can ever regard her upper arms with equanimity. ~ Cynthia Heimel
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Heimel
We talk often about being in a media-saturated society, and we are surrounded by image streams. But it's nihilistic. There's a real randomness to all of it. ~ Cynthia Daignault
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Daignault
Early in the 1990s, I flew alone in a dandelion-yellow, single-engine, 180-horsepower Piper Cherokee from Westchester County Airport in New York westward to the Rocky Mountains, landing and refuelling a good many times in middle-sized cities and towns along the way. ~ Cynthia Ozick
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Ozick
I often refer to myself as a radical, reminding people that the word radical comes from the Latin word radix, meaning root. I think we need to get to the roots of problems as we try to solve them. I also like the word anti-capitalist. ~ Cynthia Kauffman
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Kauffman
In an essay, you have the outcome in your pocket before you set out on your journey, and very rarely do you make an intellectual or psychological discovery. But when you write fiction, you don't know where you are going - sometimes down to the last paragraph - and that is the pleasure of it. ~ Cynthia Ozick
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Ozick
Sometimes the best goal you can set is just to get out of bed every day. If you can succeed at this, then other things become possible. ~ Cynthia Patterson
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Patterson
I love you as the plant that never blooms but carries in itself the light of hidden flowers. ~ Cynthia Hand
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Hand
This is your life!!! The children/husbands/lovers are just one chapter. The stronger we (women) get the more loving we can be- to all. ~ Cynthia Basinet
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Basinet
There are some people that you cannot change, you must either deal with them or leave them alone. ~ Cynthia Patterson
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Patterson
My sister had taught me to look at the world that way, as a place that glitters, as a place where the calls of the crickets and the crows and the wind are everyday occurrences that also happen to be magic. ~ Cynthia Kadohata
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Kadohata
Near the end of Love's Labor, Eva Feder Kittay (1999, 154) writes that a fundamental aspect of a just society is related to the conditions and limits of mothering. In a just society, women with disabilities can mother because there is adequate emotional and material support for them to do so, and given a context of support and approval to reproduce, they can also choose not to bear children. In a just society, mothers of children with disability can mother, and they, their children, and other needed caregivers will be adequately supported." (15) ~ Cynthia Lewiecki-Wilson And Jen Cellio
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Lewiecki-Wilson And Jen Cellio
Dude. Hot Bozo. Best nickname ever. ~ Cynthia Hand
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Hand
But the more I reflect on events recent and past, the more I am struck by the element of the absurd in everything humans do. ~ Tacitus
Cynthia quotes by Tacitus
Show me a woman who is prouder of her clean kitchen than of her collection of lingerie and I'll show you a woman with enlarged pores. ~ Cynthia Heimel
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Heimel
Dogs and humans are symbiotic species. We need each other. ~ Cynthia Heimel
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Heimel
An article can be timely, topical, engaged in the issues and personalities of the moment; it is likely to be stale within the month. In five years, it may have acquired the quaint aura of a rotary phone. An article is usually Siamese-twinned to its date of birth. ~ Cynthia Ozick
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Ozick
Lynn said, "The blue of the sky is one of the most special colors in the world, because the color is deep but see-through both at the same time. What did I just say?"
"The sky is special."
"The ocean is like that too, and people's eyes."
She turned her head toward me and waited. I said, "The ocean and people's eyes are special too."
That's how I learned about eyes, sky, and ocean: the three special, deep, colored, see-through things. I turned to Lynnie. Her eyes were deep and black, like mine. ~ Cynthia Kadohata
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Kadohata
Before I moved here, I never got the whole love-triangle thing. You know, in movies or romance novels or whatnot, where there's one chick that all the guys are drooling over, even though you can't see anything particularly special about her. But oh, no, they both must have her. And she's like, oh dear, however will I choose? William is so sensitive, he understands me, he swept me off my feet, oh misery, blubber, blubber, but how can I go on living without Rafe and his devil-may-care ways and his dark and only-a-little-abusive love? Upchuck. ~ Cynthia Hand
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Hand
He felt like she was breaking him. ~ Cynthia Eden
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Eden
We must eschew anything trivial. We must embrace all that is frivolous ... Trivial things take up all your time and dull your senses, whereas frivolity is meaningful, profound, worth living and dying for ... If we devote our lives to frivolity, the world will be a far, far better place. Humanity will be better able to fulfill its primary goal, that of having a good time. ~ Cynthia Heimel
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Heimel
The way we get past capitalism is by building on the healthy non-capitalist aspects of our world while we also do pitched battle with the capitalist ones that we have a fair chance of winning against. In that way we build a better world and shrink the destructive capitalist practices that are part of the social fabric. ~ Cynthia Kauffman
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Kauffman
If you make the decision to send your kid to public school don't even look at private schools. Just shut the door. Just turn off the TV. And then you don't even have to worry about preschool. You have to worry about what's good for your kid, but you don't have to worry about how to position yourself. ~ Cynthia Nixon
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Nixon
As we actually taste the flavor of what he's teaching, we begin to see that it's not proverbs for daily living, or ways of being virtuous. He's proposing a total meltdown and recasting of human consciousness, bursting through the tiny acorn-selfhood that we arrived on the planet with into the oak tree of our fully realized personhood. He pushes us toward it, teases us, taunts us, encourages us, and ultimately walks us there. ~ Cynthia Bourgeault
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Bourgeault
Admittedly, there is always a golden age, the one not ours, the one that once was or will someday be. One's own time is never satisfactory, except to the very rich or the smugly oblivious. ~ Cynthia Ozick
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Ozick
There are no available men in their thirties in New York. Giuliani had them removed along with the homeless. ~ Cynthia Nixon
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Nixon
Writing stories has given me the power to change things I could not change as a child. I can make boys into doctors. I can make fathers stop drinking. I can make mothers stay. ~ Cynthia Rylant
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Rylant
As Ephram waited for the pain, he saw Ruby as she used to be, the first time he'd seen her. The sweet little girl with long braids. The kind of pretty it hurt to look at, like candy on a sore tooth. ~ Cynthia Bond
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Bond
We know that our world is corrupt and diseased but we're tired of being cynical and feeling helpless. What the hell, tilt at a windmill. ~ Cynthia Heimel
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Heimel
A sense of humor isn't everything. It's only 90 percent of everything. ~ Cynthia Heimel
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Heimel
But sometimes, the things you wanted most were the things that would destroy you. ~ Cynthia Eden
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Eden
You ate the police?! I exclaimed. ~ Cynthia Leitich Smith
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Leitich Smith
That's ironic, because I always thought you were the ugliest out of all the angels. ~ Cynthia Hand
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Hand
I want to explain to him that Angela is like a bloodhound when it comes to secrets, virtually impossible to get anything by her, but it doesn't matter. She knows. He knows she knows. Damage is done. ~ Cynthia Hand
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Hand
Before you trade sandwiches, check between the bread. ~ Cynthia Lewis
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Lewis
I was worried that her spirit was watching me every time I cried. I was worried that if she saw me crying, she would be very unhappy and maybe she wouldn't be able to leave the earth the way she was supposed to. So even though I wanted her to keep watching me, I wished she would forget about me and never see my crying and never worry about me anymore, even if that meant I was now alone. ~ Cynthia Kadohata
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Kadohata
A couple of hanging glands have nothing to do with making someone a man. ~ Cynthia Nixon
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Nixon
Whoever utters 'Kafkaesque' has neither fathomed nor intuited nor felt the impress of Kafka's devisings. If there is one imperative that ought to accompany any biographical or critical approach, it is that Kafka is not to be mistaken for the Kafkaesque. ~ Cynthia Ozick
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Ozick
The power of protest depends not only on how many turn out, but also on what legislative, judicial, and civil society institutions exist to enact the will of those marching in the streets. ~ Cynthia P. Schneider
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia P. Schneider
Now," he said. "I want to hear about your day. Did you read any new books?"
"I've read all the books we have." She wrinkled her nose. "Armies aren't very good about carrying libraries with them. I can't imagine why. We'd fight so much less if everyone would just sit down and read."
Gifford's laugh rumbled through him, loud against her ear. "A question I often ask myself. Imagine how much money the realm would save if the rulers focused their finances on libraries, rather than wars."
"Not if I were allowed to shop for books."
"England would go bankrupt," he said gravely. "Thank God for wars."
She pushed him away, playful. "You can't switch sides like that."
The corner of his mouth quirked up. "It's too late. I've switched already, and since you've forbidden switching that quickly again, I'm stuck opposing you."
"Congratulations," she said. "You've just described our entire relationship. ~ Cynthia Hand
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Hand
Sam: "I always thought you were the most beautiful of all the Nephilim."
Meg: "That's ironic because I always thought you were the ugliest of all the angels. ~ Cynthia Hand
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Hand
You know boy, I coulda been your daddy, but the fella in line behind me had correct change. ~ Cynthia Bond
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Bond
Angela's in love with an angel. ~ Cynthia Hand
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Hand
Things like water and sewage systems require states in a large-scale society, but states are also a good mechanism for dealing with health care, education, public transportation, and infrastructure. ~ Cynthia Kauffman
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Kauffman
Sometimes I thought about my future, because Lynn said I should. She said it was hard to tell at this point, but someday, if I didn't go to Africa to study animals, I might be a beautiful genius tennis player. I didn't worry about it one way or another. I didn't care if I was a genius or if I was pretty or if I was good in sports. I just liked to listen to Lynn and to talk to Bera-Bera and to eat rice candies. The lady who used to live down the street could take all of her top teeth out of her mouth. She wasn't allowed to eat chewy candy. I could eat any kind of candy I wanted because I still had my baby teeth. If they rotted, I would simply grow more teeth. That was pretty great. ~ Cynthia Kadohata
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Kadohata
Menacing, maniacal, like bees
Kept in glass jars
For centuries.
History wants to hurt you. ~ Cynthia Cruz
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Cruz
Yoko had 10 years and I had 10 years and I would rather have had the 10 years I had than the ones she did. I had the raw talent and the raw human being, before the sycophants arrived. ~ Cynthia Lennon
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Lennon
Being somebody's looking glass is not your job. ~ Cynthia D'Aprix Sweeney
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia D'Aprix Sweeney
In Manhattan, marriage is a trend. Couples kiss over their arugula and radicchio salads. They fondle each other's genitals while devouring their pasta puttanesca. By the time the tiramisu arrives, they've slid under the table. ~ Cynthia Heimel
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Heimel
I think it is serious to have good sales. As I learned belatedly, the more you sell, the more publishers pay attention to you, and it took me a very long time to figure that out because I never thought that way. ~ Cynthia Ozick
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Ozick
Fog rolls between the blackened trees.
Reminds me of hell, actually.
I pull away from Tucker, shivering.
God, I need therapy, I think.
Right. As if I can picture telling my story to a shrink, stretched out on a sofa talking about how I'm part angel, how all angel-bloods have this purpose we're put on earth to fulfill, how on the day of my purpose I happened to bump into a fallen angel. Who literally took me to hell for about five minutes. Who tried to kill my mother. And how I fought him with a type of holy light. Then I had to fly off to save a boy from a forest fire, only I didn't save him. I saved my boyfriend instead, but it turns out that the original boy didn't need saving, anyway, because he's part angel, too.
Yeah, somehow I have a feeling that my first visit to a therapist would end up with me in a straitjacket getting comfy in my new padded cell. ~ Cynthia Hand
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Hand
Do I?" he finally asks.

"Do you what?" I don't know what he's referring to.

"Do I make you happy?" Nate's gaze meets mine. He's heartbreakingly serious. "Am I enough for you? ~ Cynthia Sax
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Sax
Auden is a poet - no, the poet - of unembarrassed intellect. Ideas are his emotions, emotions are his ideas. ~ Cynthia Ozick
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Ozick
They (Amish) don't take no for an answer. ~ Cynthia Keller
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Keller
Thirty seconds after the explosion came first, the air blast pressing hard against people and things, to be followed almost immediately by the strong, sustained, awesome roar which warned of doomsday and made us feel that we puny things were blasphemous to dare tamper with the forces heretofore reserved to the Almighty. ~ Cynthia C. Kelly
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia C. Kelly
The most celebrated American author of the twentieth century, Bellow objected during the first part of his career to being designated a "Jewish writer, " but it was he who demonstrated how a Jewish voice could speak for an integrated America. With Bellow, Jewishness moved in from the immigrant margins to become a new form of American regionalism. Yet he did not have to write about Jews in order to write as a Jew. Bellow's curious mingling of laughter and trembling is particularly manifest in his novel Henderson the Rain King, that follows an archetypal Protestant American into mythic Africa. Bellow not only influenced and paved the way for other American Jewish writers like Philip Roth and Cynthia Ozick, but naturalized the immigrant voice: the American novel came to seem freshly authentic when it spoke in the voice of one of its discernible minorities. ~ Hana Wirth-Nesher
Cynthia quotes by Hana Wirth-Nesher
It's typical for people living in nonurban areas to drive 100 miles to go to work, to the grocery store or to the doctor. ~ Cynthia Lummis
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Lummis
Trust me. Because you're not trusting me. You're looking at me with them and thinking…hell, what are you thinking? That I'd want to be with them? That I'd choose them over you? Look, they're both great guys, don't get me wrong. But it's you that I want. You. I'll say it as many times as you need to hear it. Until it sinks in. I'm not running from you. I'm running with you. Because you're the one I choose. It will always be you. ~ Cynthia Eden
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Eden
No matter how strong or strong-willed you are, you cannot live a stressful, maxed-out life without that pace eventually biting you in the butt. It is necessary to take breaks, set parameters, and be kind to yourself if you want to continue making an impact in your little corner of the world. ~ Cynthia Mendenhall
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Mendenhall
One thing you can't pretend to be is funny. ~ Cynthia Lewis
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Lewis
Conservatives have been using poor black and Latino children as mascots in the voucher crusade for a decade. ~ Cynthia Tucker
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Tucker
No matter how much proponents of 'intelligent design' try to clothe their views in the apparel of science, it is what it is: religion. Whose intelligence? Whose design? ~ Cynthia Tucker
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Tucker
Now I have a third must-do on my list of things to do with cancer, and it's this: follow your gut, ask questions, don't be complacent. ~ Cynthia Nixon
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Nixon
Meditation is the tool you use to "upgrade your operating system," to move from that "either/or" thinking of the binary mind into the more spacious heart awareness that sustains the wisdom way of knowing. ~ Cynthia Bourgeault
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Bourgeault
I've been dying to know," he said again, "how you taste."
Oh, hell. Her right hand grabbed the back of his head, and she yanked him down toward her.
Their mouths met. Open. Ready. Lips kissed. Tongues licked. And - damn!
Yes, she wanted.
The control she'd held so tightly began to crack. She jerked in her seat, struggling to press against him. He took her mouth. Tasted her. Tormented her. And she met him. No, she fought him, fought him for more. ~ Cynthia Eden
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Eden
Drop some of them bricks you keep hauling around with you. Life just ain't that heavy. ~ Cynthia Rylant
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Rylant
But what is it that makes a person want to stay here on this earth anyway, and go on suffering the most awful pain just for the sake of getting to stay? I used to think it was because people fear death. But now I think it is because people can't bear saying goodbye. ~ Cynthia Rylant
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Rylant
Dogs act exactly the way we would act if we had no shame. ~ Cynthia Heimel
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Heimel
Ever since I came to Congress in 1992, there are those who have been trying to silence my voice. I've been told to 'sit down and shut up' over and over again. Well, I won't sit down and I won't shut up until the full and unvarnished truth is placed before the American people. ~ Cynthia McKinney
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia McKinney
I go for my completely routine mammogram and then I get a call from my gynecologist. And she says, 'Well, I have some - it's not such great news, but here it is, but it's very small and we're just going to get in there and take it right out, right away, and then you'll probably have radiation.' ~ Cynthia Nixon
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Nixon
The corner of his mouth lifts, and then I kiss him. Not so gently this time. His hand drops from my face and grab at my waist and pull me to him. A small soft groan escapes him, and that noise makes me absolutely crazy. I lose it. I wind my hands around his neck and kiss him without holding anything back. I can feel his heart thundering like mine, his breath coming faster, his arms tightening around me. ~ Cynthia Hand
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Hand
I loved the idea that biology was logical. ~ Cynthia Kenyon
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Kenyon

Flowing with Life Creates Harmony. ~ Cynthia Belmer
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Belmer
Tucker: I'm glad it happened. because then I got to know who you really are.
Clara: Oh yeah? Who am I?
Tucker: A really, really spiritual, spoiled California chick.
Avery: Shut up.
Tucker: It's cool though. My girlfriend is an angel. ~ Cynthia Hand
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Hand
Now, at a moment when photography is so pervasive that it's been forced to grapple with its own identity and look inward, it feels like a natural moment for painting to look out, to reclaim that directive of picturing America. ~ Cynthia Daignault
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Daignault
Tucker strokes my hair. There's something so tender about the gesture. It might as well have been him whispering I love you. ~ Cynthia Hand
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Hand
Travelers are fantasists, conjurers, seers - and what they finally discover is that every round object everywhere is a crystal ball: stone, teapot, the marvelous globe of the human eye. ~ Cynthia Ozick
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Ozick
If it is a gift, I do not deserve it. If it is a curse, I do not deserve it. ~ Cynthia Hand
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Hand
I mean, what good is a women's lib if we can't use it to ask guys to dances? ~ Cynthia Hand
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Hand
What do you see in a guy like Christian Prescott? he asked me that night when he dropped me off from prom. And what he was really saying then, what would have come through loud and clear if I hadn't been so blind was, why don't you see me? ~ Cynthia Hand
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Hand
I find getting the first draft down to be the biggest challenge. Every word, every punctuation mark, every plot point is a decision. It's much more fun to play with something that already exists. ~ Cynthia Leitich Smith
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Leitich Smith

It was a decade marked by death. Violent and inevitable. Funerals became engraved on the brain, intensifying the ephemeral nature of life. For many in the South it was a decade reminiscent of earlier times, when oak trees sighed over their burdens in the wind; Spanish moss draggled blood to the ground; amen corners creaked with grief; and the thrill of being able, once again, to endure unendurable loss produced so profound an ecstasy in mourners that they strutted, without noticing their feet, along the thin backs of benches: their piercing shouts of anguish and joy never interrupted by an inglorious fall. They shared rituals for the dead to be remembered. ~ Alice Walker
Cynthia quotes by Alice Walker
What did the fish say when it hit a concrete wall?" he asks me. We're sitting on the bank of a stream and he's tying a fly onto my fishing rod, wearing a cowboy hat and a red lumberjack-style flannel shirt over a gray tee. So adorable.
"What?" I say, wanting to laugh and he hasn't even told me the punch line.
He grins. Unbelievable how gorgeous he is. And that he's mine. He loves me and I love him and how rare and beautiful is that?
"Dam!" he says. ~ Cynthia Hand
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Hand
Barry and I were in the middle of building a house, and I was in the midst of having a nervous breakdown, because that's what you do when you build a house. ~ Cynthia Weil
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Weil
The key to a successful dance is to make it seem like you can't help yourself. You look into your partner's eyes, as if that gaze binds you while your body moves to the music. ~ Cynthia Hand
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Hand
It's very difficult sometimes to put into words one's feelings, especially when one
is not quite certain what those feelings are. (Catherine) ~ Cynthia Wicklund
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Wicklund
Protect us, Golden One. I believe we are all going to need it. ~ Cynthia D. Witherspoon
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia D. Witherspoon
You're probably thinking the same thing we were: where did Jane get the rope to tie the prisoners? We researched this very conundrum thoroughly, and after two weeks we can say, without a doubt : nobody knows. It's a question that has baffled historians and archaeologists alike. Professor Herbert Halprin explains: "Ropes have been a mystery to scholars throughout the ages. The first ropes were thought to appear as far back as 17,000 BC and made of vines. Unfortunately, being made of vines, none of those early examples survived. Later, da Vinci drew sketches for a rope-making machine, but it was never built. In medieval times, there were secret societies, called Rope Guilds, whose rope-twisting practices were protected via a complicated series of handshakes and passwords -" Okay. Your narrators are interrupting the dear professor, for reasons of boredom. Plus, his English accent sounded sketchy and forced. We asked him where Jane could've gotten the rope, but maybe he thought we asked him where anyone could've gotten any rope at any given point in history. Trust us, we are as frustrated as you must be about the lack of a definitive answer. ~ Cynthia Hand
Cynthia quotes by Cynthia Hand
I am beginning to rub my eyes at the prospect of peace. I think it will require more courage than anything that has gone before ... One will have to look at long vistas again, instead of short ones, and one will at last fully recognise that the dead are not only dead for the duration of the war. ~ Cynthia Asquith
