My enlightenment comes from the lucid awareness of my extinction not the dream of my eternal ego. ~ Christopher Zzenn Loren
Christopher Zzenn Loten quotes by Christopher Zzenn Loren
I'll take honesty in Hell before lies in Heaven ~ Christopher Zzenn Loren
Christopher Zzenn Loten quotes by Christopher Zzenn Loren
As an artist, I delved deep into both good and evil ... I trampled into the forest, fears and all, with the looming threat that I might lose my soul ... and I found that no matter what I did ... the sun still shined upon me without judgement and the rain still trickled upon my face ... and I smiled ... I knew then that all these fears were shadows.
I woke up ... ~ Christopher Zzenn Loren
Christopher Zzenn Loten quotes by Christopher Zzenn Loren
You are not a spiritual being in a monkey body you are a monkey pretending to be a spiritual being controlling itself. ~ Christopher Zzenn Loren
Christopher Zzenn Loten quotes by Christopher Zzenn Loren
It is my belief that when a child has been robbed of their visionary rights that they gravitate toward religion and spirituality in an effort to regain their Subjective autonomy. ~ Christopher Zzenn Loren
Christopher Zzenn Loten quotes by Christopher Zzenn Loren
The funny thing about the word "delusion" is that it means just that - delusion. When you have it, you don't know it, and that can be a problem. ~ Christopher Zzenn Loren
Christopher Zzenn Loten quotes by Christopher Zzenn Loren
Magical obsession is the experience of radical curiosity and wonderment much like the consciousness of a child at Disneyland. It's a state of awareness that presents abnormal, spontaneous opportunities, effortlessly. It is the experience of your wish being the universes desire. ~ Christopher Zzenn Loren
Christopher Zzenn Loten quotes by Christopher Zzenn Loren
I do not see the value of separating humans into a body, soul and spirit. We don't do this with any other mammals, so why do we do it with ourselves? Thinking and fresh ideas arise naturally from the rhythm of one's internal felt-sense. It is the process artists demonstrate to humanity - to express our individuality in real-time, as a living process, rather than a "copied" idea. ~ Christopher Zzenn Loren
Christopher Zzenn Loten quotes by Christopher Zzenn Loren
Karma and Hell are the cowards revenge ~ Christopher Zzenn Loren
Christopher Zzenn Loten quotes by Christopher Zzenn Loren
Once the wounded child awakens to its human self, a primal scream emerges from the depths of denial like the Kraken released from its underwater prison. ~ Christopher Zzenn Loren
Christopher Zzenn Loten quotes by Christopher Zzenn Loren
Our species is angry on a deep level. We know something has been wrong for a long time. We are tired of being thrown the scraps. This is primal, guttural; the scream of an exhausted humanity who will not take no for an answer. ~ Christopher Zzenn Loren
Christopher Zzenn Loten quotes by Christopher Zzenn Loren
When we begin to take responsibility for our multi-bio-dimensional inner nature ... when we begin to see AND understand both the angel and the devil within us, and endless other tendencies and qualities, from sexual capacity to artistic and intellectual potential, from sadism to masochism, from gentleness and tenderness to roughness and brutality, from heart to heartlessness, from selflessness to selfishness, from kindness to hatred - only then do we begin to manifest our human fullness. It is ONLY at that point, fully human, that we are capable of becoming something more ... as in metamorphosis ... something born within from the opposites. ~ Christopher Zzenn Loren
Christopher Zzenn Loten quotes by Christopher Zzenn Loren
I believe emotional suppression fueled by a shamed imagination lies at the root of society's ailments. It is the believing leaders of religion that keep the "denial circus" going decade after decade. We have, for too long, supported this tyranny of delusion. We have given the guru and the preacher the stage one too many times. It is time to wake up and replace the preacher with the human teacher - a human who is the intelligence of their whole organism. ~ Christopher Zzenn Loren
Christopher Zzenn Loten quotes by Christopher Zzenn Loren
It is suspected, by some, that spiritual beings are extremely jealous of the natural world because they are nothing more than a figment of the imagination. This might explain their compulsive and obsessive behavior in trying to convince others they are real, and that the natural world is an illusion. The end of the world scenarios they conjure up reveal their Napoleon whit and superiority complex. ~ Christopher Zzenn Loren
Christopher Zzenn Loten quotes by Christopher Zzenn Loren
An unSpiritual person is: A Human Current of Energy in an Ocean of Air ~ Christopher Zzenn Loren
Christopher Zzenn Loten quotes by Christopher Zzenn Loren
God made me an Atheist ~ Christopher Zzenn Loren
Christopher Zzenn Loten quotes by Christopher Zzenn Loren
The importance of awakening to our evolutionary origins is paramount because irrational ideas about "who we are" fuel our sense of separateness ~ Christopher Zzenn Loren
Christopher Zzenn Loten quotes by Christopher Zzenn Loren
We do not have bodies - we are bodies! What could possibly be wrong with that form of consciousness? It is all energy anyways. ~ Christopher Zzenn Loren
Christopher Zzenn Loten quotes by Christopher Zzenn Loren
Our religious systems have taught us to "train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6) I couldn't disagree more. How about, "feed a child what it needs, so when it gets grows up, it will "be" its own unique unpredictably creative self. ~ Christopher Zzenn Loren
Christopher Zzenn Loten quotes by Christopher Zzenn Loren
We all once lived in the land of giants ... literally! ~ Christopher Zzenn Loren
Christopher Zzenn Loten quotes by Christopher Zzenn Loren
One of my favourites is 'American Beauty.' Spacey is so good in that. ~ Christopher Mintz-Plasse
Christopher Zzenn Loten quotes by Christopher Mintz-Plasse
Erienne stared up at him, and when she spoke it was almost in awe. "And what of you, Christopher? If I were to yield myself to you, would you, then, honor me?"
"Honor you?" he breathed. "Sweetest Erienne, how could I not? You are ever in my thoughts, bending me, twisting me, plucking at the fibers of my mind. The man inside me trembles whenever you're near, and I groan in agony for the touch of your hand laid upon me in a soft caress. I am beset with my desire for you, and if I thought for one moment that you would not loathe me forever, I would ease my lusts this very night, be you willing or nay. But I'd rather hear my name fall from your lips with words of love than snarled in tones of hate. 'Tis the one thing that keeps you safe from me, Erienne. 'Tis the only thing."

-Erienne & Christopher ~ Kathleen E. Woodiwiss
Christopher Zzenn Loten quotes by Kathleen E. Woodiwiss
1 in every 28 children in the United States - more than 3.6 percent - now has a parent in jail or prison. Just 25 years ago, the figure was only 1 in 125. For black children, incarceration is an especially common family circumstance. More than 1 in 9 black children have a parent in prison or jail, a rate that has more than quadrupled in the past 25 years."57 Not ~ Christopher L. Hayes
Christopher Zzenn Loten quotes by Christopher L. Hayes
I'm thinking of being a professional mourner. How hard can it be? Tear at your hair, sing a dirge or two, take the rest of the week off. ~ Christopher Moore
Christopher Zzenn Loten quotes by Christopher Moore
Whatever are the difficulties in believing that the Old and New Testaments proceed from, or record the acts of, a perfectly wise and good being, the same and still greater difficulties stand in the way of the belief, that a being of such a character can have been the Maker of the universe. He considered Butler's argument as conclusive against the only opponents for whom it was intended. Those who admit an omnipotent as well as perfectly just and benevolent maker and ruler of such a world as this, can say little against Christianity but what can, with at least equal force, be retorted against themselves. ~ Christopher Hitchens
Christopher Zzenn Loten quotes by Christopher Hitchens
The Republican Party once could lay claim to the mantle of being the fiscally responsible, or 'Daddy,' Party. ~ Christopher Buckley
Christopher Zzenn Loten quotes by Christopher Buckley
I knew the whistle of each of the river boats on the Tennessee. ~ William Christopher Handy
Christopher Zzenn Loten quotes by William Christopher Handy
It is a little out of touch to presume that someone wants to follow your every observation and insight over the course of hundreds of pages without any sort of payoff. That's why writing isn't a one-way street. You have to give something back: an interesting plot, a surprise, a laugh, a moment of tenderness, a mystery for the reader to piece together. ~ Christopher Bollen
Christopher Zzenn Loten quotes by Christopher Bollen
Health is not just a physical phenomenon. We do not just have physical bodies. ~ Christopher Penczak
Christopher Zzenn Loten quotes by Christopher Penczak
Mathematics is not arithmetic. Though mathematics may have arisen from the practices of counting and measuring it really deals with logical reasoning in which theorems - general and specific statements - can be deduced from the starting assumptions. It is, perhaps, the purest and most rigorous of intellectual activities, and is often thought of as queen of the sciences. ~ Christopher Zeeman
Christopher Zzenn Loten quotes by Christopher Zeeman
When does your next idea come? You don't really know yet, and therefore there's a lot of uncertainty associated with innovation companies. Most often, the true innovators have to stand all by themselves at the beginning and predict that the world will be different. ~ Christopher Galvin
Christopher Zzenn Loten quotes by Christopher Galvin
Saphira: The worth is in the act. Your worth halts when you surrender the will to change and experience life. But options are before you; choose one and dedicate yourself to it. The deeds will give you new hope and purpose.
Eragon: But what can I do?
Saphira: The only true guide is your heart. Nothing less than its supreme desire can help you. ~ Christopher Paolini
Christopher Zzenn Loten quotes by Christopher Paolini
Compromise is when one person wants to rob a bank and the other person does not, and they compromise to rob a person outside of the bank. ~ Christopher Myers
Christopher Zzenn Loten quotes by Christopher Myers
As i sat listening to this old man's tale of murder, rape and disposing of a tortured body, i felt a sense of strength deep in my soul that i could accomplish something similar with the bullies who ruined my life at school".

Christopher ~ Stuart Francis
Christopher Zzenn Loten quotes by Stuart Francis
I am a patriot, and I protest speed limits by exceeding them. ~ Christopher Titus
Christopher Zzenn Loten quotes by Christopher Titus
It doesn't take a literary detective, scanning the passage above, to notice that he is partly saying of Orwell what Orwell actually says about Gissing. This half-buried resentment can be further noticed when Williams turns to paradox. I have already insisted that Orwell contains opposites and even contradictions, but where is the paradox in a 'humane man who communicated an extreme of inhuman terror'? Where is the paradox in 'a man committed to decency who actualized a distinctive squalor'? The choice of verbs is downright odd, if not a little shady. 'Communicated'? 'Actualised'? Assuming that Williams means to refer to Nineteen Eighty-Four in the first case, which he certainly does, would it not be more precise to say that Orwell 'evoked' or even 'prefigured' or perhaps simply 'described' an extreme of inhuman terror? Yet that choice of verb, because more accurate, would be less 'paradoxical.' Because what Williams means to imply, but is not brave enough to say, is that Orwell 'invented' the picture of totalitarian collectivism.

As for 'actualising' a distinctive squalor, the author of that useful book Keywords has here chosen a deliberately inexact term. He may mean Nineteen Eighty-Four again - he is obsessed with the 'gritty dust' that infests Orwell's opening passage - or he may mean the depictions of the mean and cramped (and malodorous) existence imposed on the denizens of Wigan Pier. But to 'actualise' such squalor is either to make it real - no contradictio ~ Christopher Hitchens
Christopher Zzenn Loten quotes by Christopher Hitchens
I'm not a conservative of any kind. ~ Christopher Hitchens
Christopher Zzenn Loten quotes by Christopher Hitchens
MACHEVILL: I count religion but a childish toy,
And hold there is no sin but ignorance. ~ Christopher Marlowe
