The best advice I ever got was from Lee Iacocca ... It was get into a business where you can be a big fish, not the little fish. Get into a business where you can be a change agent, where you can make a difference. ~ Marcus Lemonis
Big Fish quotes by Marcus Lemonis
In the new world, it is not the big fish which eats the small fish, it's the fast fish which eats the slow fish, ~ Klaus Schwab
Big Fish quotes by Klaus Schwab
The bite of existence did not cut into one in Hollywood ... Life elsewhere was real and slippery and struggled in the arms like a big fish dying in air. ~ Mae West
Big Fish quotes by Mae West
There's a time when a man needs to fight and a time when he needs to accept that his destiny's lost, the ship has sailed and that only a fool will continue. The truth is I've always been a fool. ~ John August
Big Fish quotes by John August
I'd rather be a big fish in a specialized pond than a little, little fish in a more generalized big pond. ~ Leonard Lauder
Big Fish quotes by Leonard Lauder
Pretty speech," he said.
"It's the only one I've got."
"I know what's really going on here. You're scared to step into my world. Afraid you can't hack it. Much better to hide here and be a big fish in a very small pond."
"If that's the way you see it, fine." I raised my chin. "I have nothing to prove to you, Rogan."
"But now I have something to prove to you," he said. "I promise you, I will win, and by the time I'm done, you won't walk, you'll run to jump into my bed."
"Don't hold your breath," I told him.
All of his civilized veneer was gone now. The dragon faced me, teeth bared, claws out, breathing fire. "You won't just sleep with me. You'll be obsessed with me. You'll beg me to touch you, and when that moment comes, we will revisit what happened here today."
"Never in a million years." I pointed at the doorway. "Exit is that - "
He grabbed me. His mouth closed on mine. His big body caged me in. His chest mashed my breasts. His arms pulled me to him, one across my back, the other cupping my butt. His magic washed over me in an exhilarating rush. My body surrendered. My muscles turned warm and pliant. My nipples tightened, my breasts ready to be squeezed, ready for his fingers and his mouth. An eager ache flared between my legs. My tongue licked his. God, I wanted him. I wanted him so badly.
He let me go, turned on his toes, and went out, laughing under his breath.
Aaargh! "That's right! Keep . . . walking!"
I threw t ~ Ilona Andrews
Big Fish quotes by Ilona Andrews
If you want to sell 'em fish, sell 'em big fish. That's the secret to success. ~ Jack Solomons
Big Fish quotes by Jack Solomons
When I was a kid, I felt like I could do anything and play anything. I just felt super-confident. And then, once I started to play music professionally, maybe it's from being from a small town, but you grow up and then you're suddenly a big fish in a small pond, and I realized that there were a billion other drummers out there that could play as good as you or better, and everybody wants that job. ~ Patty Schemel
Big Fish quotes by Patty Schemel
The thing about meditation is: you become more and more you. ~ David Lynch
Big Fish quotes by David Lynch
I've always written towards movies that take place across two worlds. Most of the movies that I've worked on take place in two worlds, or sometimes three worlds, where you have a normal world and a fantasy world that mix and overlap. I never shy away from the series stuff in the real world. Big Fish is about mortality. ~ John August
Big Fish quotes by John August
I'm into eating salads and fish. I've always been a big fish eater. I like fruit. I have friends that you have to force-feed them the good stuff. I'm lucky I actually like it. Brussel sprouts and all that. ~ Elisha Cuthbert
Big Fish quotes by Elisha Cuthbert
But I'm not to be caught with such poor bait! I'm a big fish, I am. ~ Maxim Gorky
Big Fish quotes by Maxim Gorky
New York is where you go to catch a big fish. ~ Jessica Cutler
Big Fish quotes by Jessica Cutler
Sure, it was your idea and your fly, but he caught the big fish. Remember, fairness is a human idea largely unknown in nature. ~ John Gierach
Big Fish quotes by John Gierach
Loads of overtaking is boring. You go fishing and you catch a fish every ten minutes and it's boring. But if you site there all day, and you catch one mega fish, you come back with stories that you caught a fish this big (indicates a big fish), intead of this size (indicating a small fish) ~ Eddie Irvine
Big Fish quotes by Eddie Irvine
In England, David and I are big fish in a small pond. But in L.A., we are tiny, tiny, tiny fish in a big pond. ~ Victoria Beckham
Big Fish quotes by Victoria Beckham
Small bait cast properly can catch big fish. ~ Matshona Dhliwayo
Big Fish quotes by Matshona Dhliwayo
Like Frankenweenie is a story about a boy and his dog, Big Fish is the story of a father and his son, and all those conversations you can't have. It's universal, in a way that can go from one medium to another medium. That's been the funnest, figuring out what we can do in a Broadway show that's unique and special. ~ John August
Big Fish quotes by John August
Big fish eats small fish; oceans need revolution! Big man beats little man; world needs revolution! Big galaxies swallow little galaxies; universe needs revolution! Anything which is not ethical needs a strong revolution! ~ Mehmet Murat Ildan
Big Fish quotes by Mehmet Murat Ildan
The new day is a great big fish! ~ Terry Pratchett
Big Fish quotes by Terry Pratchett
Don't be afraid to fall into the sea. Close your eyes and jump, for you will fall on the back of a big fish which will carry you to your destination ~ Bangambiki Habyarimana
Big Fish quotes by Bangambiki Habyarimana
Sunday had spread all over the city. It looked as if the sun had smacked into the earth and broken into pieces and chunks of wet light were scattered everywhere
in the streets, on the window panes, on puddles and roofs. I remembered a day long ago when Grandmother had cleaned a big fish. Her forearms were splattered with shiny scales. It was as if she had Sunday in her whole body. When my father got angry, he had Tuesday. ~ Ismail Kadare
Big Fish quotes by Ismail Kadare
Bragging is not an attractive trait, but let's be honest. A man who catches a big fish doesn't go home through an alley. ~ Ann Landers
Big Fish quotes by Ann Landers
The producers and I first talked about the Big Fish musical, right before we did the first test screening of the movie. I said, "I think there's a Broadway musical here." And really, from that day, we started figuring out how we would do it. ~ John August
Big Fish quotes by John August
There is a moment during every fight with a strong fish when you wonder whether it or you will win the battle. ~ Fennel Hudson
Big Fish quotes by Fennel Hudson
Stones Come And Go, The Big Fish Eat The Little Fish And I Keep On Battling. ~ Ahmed Abdulrahman
Big Fish quotes by Ahmed Abdulrahman
Big Fish was the first movie that we worked on together, and I had already written it. We had another director, but that director didn't do it. So, it was just a Hail Mary to Tim, and Tim said that he wanted to do it and I was like, "That's fantastic!" But, there wasn't a lot of collaboration because he knew what he wanted to do and just did it. There were very minor changes for Big Fish. ~ John August
Big Fish quotes by John August
The Gong lived in the Pit. It made a loud, brassy "nnnnnnngggggggggg" that set everyone's teeth on edge. Any deal over 50K per annum, the salesman got to take a whack at it, so that the whole company would know he'd landed a big fish. ~ Lori Berhon
Big Fish quotes by Lori Berhon
One of my favorite films is 'Big Fish,' which I think is a masterpiece. ~ George Clooney
Big Fish quotes by George Clooney
Because, you see, he was not a person. He was a fish, which is what he had been all along. As a big fish, he could only eat smaller fish ~ Lord Krishna
Big Fish quotes by Lord Krishna
So Ryan got promoted to corporate, where he is a big fish in a little pond. Where as back here in Scranton I'm still top dog, in a fairly large pond. So who is the real boss, the dog or the fish? ~ Steve Carell
Big Fish quotes by Steve Carell
And the new day was a great big fish ~ Terry Pratchett
Big Fish quotes by Terry Pratchett
You might be a big fish in a little pond,
Doesn't mean you've won
'Coz along may come a bigger one. ~ Coldplay
Big Fish quotes by Coldplay
The big fish run the show. I'm a middle fish, but there are small fish that are poisonous. ~ Roberto Cavalli
Big Fish quotes by Roberto Cavalli
They'll want to kill the crazies first. Big fish eat little fish -- always have, always will. ~ Allan Dare Pearce
Big Fish quotes by Allan Dare Pearce
Ten percent of the big fish still remain. There are still some blue whales. There are still some krill in Antarctica. There are a few oysters in Chesapeake Bay. Half the coral reefs are still in pretty good shape, a jeweled belt around the middle of the planet. There's still time, but not a lot, to turn things around. ~ Sylvia Earle
Big Fish quotes by Sylvia Earle
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you? ~ Lee Wulff
Big Fish quotes by Lee Wulff
Online social networking allows a small fish in a small pond to become bigger than a big fish in a big pond - without the support or consent of the big fish. Your goal is to be the type of fish the consumer is fishing for. I'm in the mood for tilapia. ~ Jarod Kintz
Big Fish quotes by Jarod Kintz
Murder was apparently too common-place in the big city to attract much notice.
Poor Luther, thought Lucy, as she headed back to the hotel. Even in death he was only a big fish in a small pond. ~ Leslie Meier
Big Fish quotes by Leslie Meier
Some people like being a big fish in a small pond, others a ferocious shark in the ocean, I rather be the ocean. In the end, fish die. ~ Behdad Sami
Big Fish quotes by Behdad Sami
I think that most people would associate big schools of fish with healthy coral reefs. At Kingman, the predators keep the herd thin, so there aren't a lot of big fish schools. ~ Brian Skerry
Big Fish quotes by Brian Skerry
Ideas are like fish. If you want to catch little fish, you can stay in the shallow water. But if you want to catch the big fish, you've got to go deeper. Down deep, the fish are more powerful and more pure. They're huge and abstract. And they're very beautiful. ~ David Lynch
Big Fish quotes by David Lynch
They say when you meet the love of your life, time stops, and that's true. What they don't tell you is that when it starts again, it moves extra fast to catch up. ~ Daniel Wallace
Big Fish quotes by Daniel Wallace
Now, it's common knowledge that most towns of a certain size have a witch, if only to eat misbehaving children and the occasional puppy who wanders into her yard. ~ John August
Big Fish quotes by John August
A man tells his stories so many times that he becomes the stories. They live on after him, and in that way he becomes immortal. ~ Billy Crudup
Big Fish quotes by Billy Crudup
It's Easy To Feel Like A Big Fish, When Your Pond is Just A Puddle! ~ Latif Mercado
Big Fish quotes by Latif Mercado
The fast fish, not the big fish, eats the small fish. ~ Ali Babacan
Big Fish quotes by Ali Babacan
I don't get pat down, you know what's on the waist,
I don't mean Jazz when I say I "count base."
Fly Louis sneakers, Purple Tape coming out the speakers,
Bumped into my high school teachers,
They said I wouldn't be nothing, sitting on the bleachers.
Now I'm sitting in the Phantom, trynna figure out the features.
I'm a big fish now, I watch for the leeches. ~ Sheek Louch
Big Fish quotes by Sheek Louch

Big Fish quotes by David Zucker
Woody Allen has done some excellent serious movies, too, like Crimes And Misdemeanors. Very overlooked movie, I think, and really his best. And currently I like Big Fish! ~ David Zucker
Big Fish quotes by David Zucker
My big fish must be somewhere. ~ Ernest Hemingway,
Big Fish quotes by Ernest Hemingway,
I am a storyteller, and I grew up with a father who told big-fish stories, so storytelling is very much a part of me. It was a part of my family. ~ Susan Stroman
Big Fish quotes by Susan Stroman
The power of the big fish in general to regroup is hardly restricted to banking. When Standard Oil was broken up in 1911, the immediate effect was to replace a national monopoly with a number of regional monopolies controlled by many of the same Wall Street interests. Ultimately, the regional monopolies regrouped: In 1999 Exxon (formerly Standard Oil Company of New Jersey) and Mobil (formerly Standard Oil Company of New York) reconvened in one of the largest mergers in US history. In 1961 Kyso (formerly Standard Oil of Kentucky) was purchased by Chevron (formerly Standard Oil of California); and in the 1960s and 1970s Sohio (formerly Standard Oil of Ohio) was bought by British Petroleum (BP), which then, in 1998, merged with Amoco (formerly Standard Oil of Indiana).

The tale of AT&T is similar. As the result of an antitrust settlement with the government, on January 1, 1984, AT&T spun off its local operations so as to create seven so-called Baby Bells. But the Baby Bells quickly began to merge and regroup. By 2006 four of the Baby Bells were reunited with their parent company AT&T, and two others (Bell Atlantic and NYNEX) merged to form Verizon.

So the hope that you can make a banking breakup stick (even if it were to be achieved) flies in the face of some pretty daunting experience. Also, note carefully a major political fact: The time when traditional reformers had enough power to make tough banking regulation really work was the time when ~ Gar Alperovitz
Big Fish quotes by Gar Alperovitz
Maybe he's MTB," she says, cutting me off, "but maybe not. And until you figure that out, I'm just saying there are other fish in the sea, Julia. Big fish. Tasty fish. Tuna fish! ~ Lauren Morrill
Big Fish quotes by Lauren Morrill
Big fish eat small fish with as much right as they have power. ~ Baruch Spinoza
Big Fish quotes by Baruch Spinoza
Don't even think about it.
You'll never catch that big fish with your small hook. ~ Phil Wohl
Big Fish quotes by Phil Wohl
When I walk down the street, it's not like people feel like they're seeing some big star. It's like someone they've known for a long time, someone that they feel comfortable with. ~ Steve Wilkos
Big Fish quotes by Steve Wilkos
Very few things hurt my young ego more than an Asian female openly shaming me for my Asian-ness. If she could not accept me, who could? If even Asian women saw the men of their own blood as less than other men, what was the use in arguing otherwise? ~ Alex Tizon
Big Fish quotes by Alex Tizon
I have to say, I'm not someone who's really big into my family history - never really was very curious about it. The only thing I know about it is what I picked up from my aunts and parents. ~ Robert Barry
Big Fish quotes by Robert Barry
The safest way to live is first, inherit money, second be born without a taste for liquor, third, have a legitimate job that keeps you busy, fourth, marry a wife who will cooperate in your sexual peculiarities, fifth, join some big church, sixth, don't live too long. ~ Barbara Vine
Big Fish quotes by Barbara Vine
I like thinking big. I always have. To me it's very simple: if you're going to be thinking anyway, you might as well think big. Most people think small, because most people are afraid of success, afraid of making decisions, afraid of winning. And that gives people like me a great advantage. My ~ Donald J. Trump
Big Fish quotes by Donald J. Trump
Wait, Alden. I really don't want to meet your friends dressed like this." "They're your friends too. And you look fantastic. I love the school uniform. You have great legs."
"Shut up!" I gasped. "I thought you were and old man!"
"Old soul. Young man. Big difference. It's okay, though; we're just friends, remember? ~ Mary Lindsey
Big Fish quotes by Mary Lindsey
He smiled slowly, as if particularly pleased with her question, and she couldn't help smiling in return. He reached around her, his arms nearly embracing her, and wrote in the notebook on her lap, Very good. Yes, the root ball should be quite big, even so. "Should be?" His breath was warm against her ear. I confess. I've never attempted to transplant a fully grown tree. I shall do so, however, this afternoon. Would you like to watch? If someone had asked her a fortnight ago if she'd like to watch a tree being planted, she would've looked at the questioner quite pityingly. But right now, this moment, she was rather excited at the prospect. Perhaps too many viewings of Caliban's nude chest had addled her brain. In any case she gazed into his thickly lashed brown eyes and smiled brilliantly. "Yes, please." His grin was quick and all-encompassing and, she couldn't help but think, solely for her. ~ Elizabeth Hoyt
Big Fish quotes by Elizabeth Hoyt
Hypnosis. You know, I'm not a big fan of that bark like a chicken, cluck like a dog stuff. ~ Jack O'Neill
Big Fish quotes by Jack O'Neill
Aw, man. I'd just shot an angel in the face.I made my way into the foyer and sat down on the stairs. I glanced up at the big old grandfather clock. It was going on ten. My folks would be home soon.
"How was your evening, honey?"
"Killed an angel."
"Well, isn't that nice."
That wasn't happening. Daddy never liked guns in the first place, Mother just pretended to. I was so grounded. ~ Adrienne Kress
Big Fish quotes by Adrienne Kress
Inside that darkness, i saw rain falling on the sea. Rain softly falling on a vast sea, with no one there to see it. The rain strikes the surface of the sea, yet even the fish don't know it is raining. ~ Haruki Murakami
Big Fish quotes by Haruki Murakami
After 1957 On The Road sold a trillion levis and a million espresso coffee machines, and also sent countless kids on the road. This was of course due in part to the media, the arch-opportunists. They know a story when they see one, and the Beat movement was a story, and a big one . . . The Beat literary movement came at exactly the right time and said something that millions of people of all nationalities all over the world were waiting to hear. You can't tell anybody anything he doesn't know already. The alienation, the restlessness, the dissatisfaction were already there waiting when Kerouac pointed out the road. ~ William S. Burroughs
Big Fish quotes by William S. Burroughs
I am only thirty
And like the cat I have nine times to die.

This is Number Three.
What a trash
To annihilate each decade

What a million filaments.
The peanut-crunching crowd
Shoves in to see

Them unwrap me hand and foot -
The big strip tease.
Gentleman, ladies

These are my hands
My knees
I may be skin and bone,

Nevertheless, I am the same, identical woman
The first time it happened I was ten.
It was an accident.

The second time I meant
To last it out and not come back at all.
I rocked shut

As a seashell
They had to call and call
And pick the worms off me like sticky pearls.

Dying
Is an art, like everything else.
I do it exceptionally well.

I do it so it feels like hell.
I do it so it feels real.
I guess you could say I've a call.

It's easy enough to do it in a cell.
It's easy enough to do it and stay put.
It's the theatrical

Comeback in broad day
To that same place, the same face, the same brute
Amused shout:

'A miracle!'
That knocks me out. ~ Sylvia Plath
Big Fish quotes by Sylvia Plath
I'm not really a big 'working out' person, but I definitely like to do cardio when I do. I guess I run sometimes, drink green juices once a week. ~ Bella Hadid
Big Fish quotes by Bella Hadid
I missed the moonlight, the stars. There were times I forgot that there was an entire universe above the clouds. It was as if a shroud had been pulled around the Earth. Over time, we would forget everything that we had once struggled so hard to observe and learn and prove. We would forget about Jupiter and its churning storms. We would forget about the Big Dipper, about Halley's comet. We would stumble across telescopes in old department stores and never give them a second look, never wonder about the things they once made large. ~ Jason Gurley
Big Fish quotes by Jason Gurley
And suddenly I got what the big deal was about kissing. How someone could suck on your bottom lip and make you come completely undone. That someone stroking the hair back from your face could make you swoon and someone sliding his hands underneath your top could make you feel wanted for the first time in your life. ~ Sarra Manning
Big Fish quotes by Sarra Manning
I'm not a big fan of my books going on cross-country road trips. They get arrogant and, next thing, start aspiring to become 'large-print' books. I say, let them stay home and be regular small-print books. ~ George Saunders
Big Fish quotes by George Saunders
The mistake the world is making with the simple peoples is to try and hurry them into political concepts they don't understand and aren't prepared to cope with. I know. I am a peasant myself ... I say, Spit on the big, fancy schemes. I want all the little things first. Then perhaps we can get on to the bigger things. ~ Ramon Magsaysay
Big Fish quotes by Ramon Magsaysay
I was going to do a big radio show, and I said to my driver, 'Radio can wait, take me to the Full House house.' It literally was a drive-by. I photobombed the Full House house yesterday. I took like 20 pictures because I thought I didn't look good in any of these - you can't see the house! You gotta really show that that's the house! ~ Bob Saget
Big Fish quotes by Bob Saget
I talk a big game because I carry a big stick. ~ Richard Sherman
Big Fish quotes by Richard Sherman
With the news that he would soon be a daddy again, Steve seemed inspired to work even harder. Our zoo continued to get busier, and we had trouble coping with the large numbers. The biggest draw was the crocodiles. Crowds poured in for the croc shows, filling up all the grandstands. The place was packed.
Steve came up with a monumental plan. He was a big fan of the Colosseum-type arenas of the Roman gladiator days. He sketched out his idea for me on a piece of paper.
"Have a go at this, it's a coliseum," he declared, his eyes wide with excitement. He drew an oval, then a series of smaller ovals in back of it. "Then we have crocodile ponds where the crocs could live. Every day a different croc could come out for the show and swim through a canal system"--he sketched rapidly--"then come out in the main area."
"Canals," I said. "Could you get them to come in on cue?"
"Piece of cake!" he said. "And get this! We call it…the Crocoseum!"
His enthusiasm was contagious. Never mind that nothing like this had ever been done before. Steve was determined to take the excitement and hype of the ancient Roman gladiators and combine it with the need to show people just how awesome crocs really were.
But it was a huge project. There was nothing to compare it to, because nothing even remotely similar had ever been attempted anywhere in the world. I priced it out: The budget to build the arena would have to be somewhere north of eight million dollars, a huge expense. ~ Terri Irwin
Big Fish quotes by Terri Irwin
Don't order the fish," Yancy advised Merry when they sat down. "But it's a seafood joint." "More like a petri dish with menus. When they say 'catch of the day,' they mean infection." Brennan ~ Carl Hiaasen
Big Fish quotes by Carl Hiaasen
I am a big music nerd. ~ Olivia Wilde
Big Fish quotes by Olivia Wilde
Gradually I began to understand that it does not matter very much what problem, whether big or small, is tormenting us; the only thing that matters it that we be tormented, that we find a ground for being tormented. In other words, that we exercise our minds in order to keep certainty from turning us into idiots, that we fight to open every closed door we find in front of us. ~ Nikos Kazantzakis
Big Fish quotes by Nikos Kazantzakis
I can't blame you!
You really have no idea, how important you are
How elegant you look and how sweet is your smile
Everyone can smell you, from thousands kilometers away
They can feel like the hungry wolves
How delicious you are
And they can see you from far planets
Mars and Jupiter
Like the owls with big eyes
They know you are not human
Because no one have seen a creature
With such beauty and prettiness
I haven't seen angels
But I am sure they are not as beautiful as you are
Even beauty by nature has its limits
But I have to confess there is no limit in yours. ~ M.F. Moonzajer
Big Fish quotes by M.F. Moonzajer
It doesn't matter how big your neocortex is or how abstractly you can reason: unless you can trust others, your species will forever remain stuck in the Stone Age. ~ Bruce Schneier
Big Fish quotes by Bruce Schneier
When I'm dancing with any woman, I immediately get rid of intimacy barriers. I just give her a big hug and crack on. ~ Anton Du Beke
Big Fish quotes by Anton Du Beke
Marriage is a pretty amazing thing when you think about it. For two people to live together for so long under the same roof is a big accomplishment. Fifty-year anniversaries are becoming extinct, yet again proving that long marriages deserve awards and praise. Sometimes I see old people in restaurants sitting together eating their meals and I watch them. Sometimes it makes me sad. They don't even talk. Is it because they have nothing else to say, or can they simply read each other's mind by now? ~ Jenny McCarthy
Big Fish quotes by Jenny McCarthy
Higher and higher he climbed. His strength came from somewhere deep inside himself and also seemed to come from the outside as well. After focusing on Big Thumb for so long, it was as if the rock had absorbed his energy and now acted like a kind of giant magnet pulling him toward it. After a while he became aware of a foul odor. At first he thought it came from Zero, but it seemed to be in the air, hanging heavy all around him. He also noticed that the ground wasn't as steep anymore. As the ground flattened, a huge stone precipice rose up ahead of him, just barely visible in the ~ Louis Sachar
Big Fish quotes by Louis Sachar
Bean decided to pay attention to what Ms. Aruba-Tate was saying. "Today, class, we are having a special science lesson." Science! Bean stopped thinking about Colorado. Science was usually dirt or fish, and Bean liked both of them. ~ Annie Barrows
Big Fish quotes by Annie Barrows
In a lot of minds, God is big enough to raise dead people, but He's not big enough to deal with our running. ~ Jason Upton
Big Fish quotes by Jason Upton
The hurdles have taught me that if you work really, really hard at perfecting the little things in your life, the big picture will come together. ~ John Shaffer
Big Fish quotes by John Shaffer
Henry hooked his legs on the branch and flipped over gingerly, until he was hanging upside-down, grinning at Vlad. Then Henry's grin slipped. He fell to the ground several feet below with a thump, crying out as his body made impact. Vlad shimmied down the tree as fast as he could. "Henry ! Are you okay?" Henry sat up, clutching his wounded knee. He looked very much like he was going to start crying any second. A small, thin line of blood oozed from the scrape on his knee. Vlad's tiny fangs shot from his gums. Henry's eyes went wide, his injury all but forgotten. "What are those?" Vlad's small shoulders sank. He'd let his dad down. "They're my fangs." "Vlad, are you a vampire or something?" Henry's eyes were big, and Vlad was certain he saw fear in them. Not as much fear as when Henry had been falling from the tree, but close. He took a deep breath, glancing at the house. Then he sat down in front of Henry and said, "Yeah, Henry. I'm a vampire. But it's a secret. A very, very, very big secret and you can't tell anyone ever. ~ Heather Brewer
Big Fish quotes by Heather Brewer
Men are the scourge of the universe. I say we line them all up along the highway and then mow them down with big trucks. No, wait! Steamrollers! Yeah, let's steamroll them all until they're nothing more than slimy wet spots on the road! (Chrissy) ~ Sherrilyn Kenyon
Big Fish quotes by Sherrilyn Kenyon
Sport was an obvious favourite of mine, and not only golf. I was, and still am, a big rugby fan. ~ Rory McIlroy
Big Fish quotes by Rory McIlroy
When I look in his eyes, I don't see perfection. I don't see a love story that would necessarily be something people would watch on a big screen and dream about. I see someone who will fight for me and protect me and love me in spite of all the ways I am still a wreck. I see home. Wherever he is. That's my home. ~ Melanie Shankle
Big Fish quotes by Melanie Shankle
You think Jesus ever tried to talk God out of some of that stuff? 'Instead of that whole crucifixion, how about we do a big fundraiser!' ~ Jim Gaffigan
Big Fish quotes by Jim Gaffigan
Men mess up. Women create this big illusion in their head that the man they're going to be with is going to be perfect. Nobody's going to be perfect, and people are going to let you down. The only thing that you can hope for is someone that's going to be honest with you. ~ Jessica White
Big Fish quotes by Jessica White
I'm a big Letterman fan. ~ Andy Samberg
Big Fish quotes by Andy Samberg
No trees in sight, just concrete
Still I see
Two roads twist and turn in front of me
No signs, but screams
Which way's reality?
So you choose; yeah, you choose
Maybe you lose
The sidewalk paved in hitches
Broken hearts not fixed by stitches
But morning's coming soon
No right in sight, just questions
And you find
There is no map to Mecca
It's just life
No right answer; perfect marks
It's no big deal; it's just your heart
Falling stars and lightning sparks
This will only sting a bit
We are all just
Magnets for fate
Stumbling, skipping, running at our pace
Making choices, losing voices
Making wishes for forgiveness
But morning's coming soon

And no matter where you sit, how fast you sip
The coffee tastes the same on magnet lips

"Magnets for Fate"
-Electric Freakshow ~ Cat Patrick
Big Fish quotes by Cat Patrick
I have tonight begun reading a stupid, shitty book by Kerouac called Big Sur, and I would give a ball to wake up tomorrow on some empty ridge with a herd of beatniks grazing in the clearing about 200 yards below the house. And then to squat with the big boomer and feel it on my shoulder with the smell of grease and powder and, later, a little blood. ~ Hunter S. Thompson
Big Fish quotes by Hunter S. Thompson
