Bad Judgement quotes by Ron McManus
Bad judgement happens usually because we take things into our own hands instead of letting the Lord tell us what we should do. We follow our own desires instead of His lead. ~ Marlene Banks
Bad Judgement quotes by Marlene Banks
Perfection' is an illusion and we all make mistakes; you must allow yourself the freedom to make mistakes and bad judgements and glimmer wiser through them. We are not meant to live in insulation, within the confines of a box, or beneath a protective shell, so this means that errors are all a part of the human experience, and you strengthen yourself through it all and finding your own peace in forgiveness. ~ Christine Evangelou
Bad Judgement quotes by Christine Evangelou
Good judgement is the result of experience and experience the result of bad judgement. ~ Mark Twain
Bad Judgement quotes by Mark Twain

A good man is but a bad man's teacher, and a bad man is but a good man's job. ~ Wayne W. Dyer
Bad Judgement quotes by Wayne W. Dyer
I'm a pretty sad example of what one should do with eternal life. I've never reached any higher level of consciousness, I don't have access to any great truths, and I've never borne witness to the divine or transcendent. Some of this is just bad luck. Like working in the fishing industry in Galilee and never once running into Jesus. ~ Gene Doucette
Bad Judgement quotes by Gene Doucette
Most women who struggle with their weight as I do hate to have their picture taken. It wouldn't be so bad if there was physically a means of sucking in one's neck, but as yet, I haven't figured out how to do this. ~ A.K. Turner
Bad Judgement quotes by A.K. Turner
Creative minds have always been known to survive any kind of bad training. ~ Anna Freud
Bad Judgement quotes by Anna Freud
Maureen wants to touch you," Clary said with a sideways grin. "Bad touch. ~ Cassandra Clare
Bad Judgement quotes by Cassandra Clare
People aren't all good, and people aren't all bad. We move in and out of darkness all our lives. ~ Neal Shusterman
Bad Judgement quotes by Neal Shusterman
In enforcement, you always have to have both a focus on the really worst actors - you know, gang bangers, in this case, drug dealers, that sort of thing - but also routine enforcement because think about, for instance, the IRS. They don't say, OK, well, if you're not a money launderer, it doesn't matter whether you fill your tax return out right or not. They have both. They go after the really bad actors and they have a kind of general, routine enforcement ~ Mark Krikorian
Bad Judgement quotes by Mark Krikorian
Thus, with the good we have the bad: we have the opposed movements of a dancer guided by one artistic plan; we recognize in his steps the good as against the bad, and see that in the opposition lies the merit of the design. ~ Plotinus
Bad Judgement quotes by Plotinus
John Bunyan: "But one day, as I was passing in the field, and that too with some dashes on my conscience, fearing lest yet all was not right, suddenly this sentence fell upon my soul, Thy righteousness is in heaven; and methought withal, I saw, with the eyes of my soul, Jesus Christ at God's right hand; there, I say, as my righteousness; so that wherever I was, or whatever I was adoing, mGod could not say of me, He wants my righteousness, for that was just before him. I also saw, moreover, that it was not my good frame of heart that made my righteousness better, nor yet my bad frame that made my righteousness worse; for my righteousness was Jesus Christ himself, the same yesterday, to-day, and for ever." (Grace Abounding to the Chief of Sinners, 35-36) ~ John Bunyan
Bad Judgement quotes by John Bunyan
I began to notice that when I was tired or anxious, there were certain sentences I would say in my head that lead me to a very familiar place. The journey to this place would often start with me walking around disturbed, feeling as if there was something deep inside that I needed to put into words but couldn't quite capture. I felt the "something" as an anxiety, a loneliness, and a need for connection with someone. If no connection came, I would start to say things like, "Life really stinks. Why is it always so hard? It's never going to change." If no one noticed that I was struggling and asked me what was wrong, I found my sentences shifting again to a more cynical level, "Who cares? Life really is a joke." Surprisingly, I noticed by the time I was saying these last sentences, I was feeling better. The anxiety had greatly diminished.
My "comforter", my abiding place, was cynicism and rebellion. From this abiding place, I would feel free to use some soul - cocaine - a violence video with maybe a little sexual titillation thrown in, perhaps having a little more alcohol with a meal than I might normally drink - things that would allow me to feel better for just a little while. I had always thought of these things as just bad habits. I began to see that they were much more; they were spiritual abiding places that were my comforters and friends in a very spiritual way; literally, other lovers. ~ John Eldredge
Bad Judgement quotes by John Eldredge
Buying a home is always an impulse buy. It's an impossible thing for your brain to absorb fully: to warp your whole emotional and financial life around the shape of this absurd physical thing, this new collection of problems and regrets, ants and undiscovered mold, bad drainage, and cracked foundations that will be your burden until you sell it or it kills you. A thirty-year mortgage is hilarious when you are young and you don't even remember what day it is; it's a grim thing when you are older and see that this debt is a bright, un-ignorable line from the now of your life to its addled decline. ~ John Hodgman
Bad Judgement quotes by John Hodgman
Good days. Bad days. God is in all days. ~ Max Lucado
Bad Judgement quotes by Max Lucado
Many people stimulate that good serotonin feeling by trying to rescue others. Feeling like a hero is a reliable way to stimulate your serotonin. But the good feeling soon passes and you have to rescue again. Sometimes rescuers reward bad behavior in others because they are so eager to rescue. ~ Loretta Graziano Breuning
Bad Judgement quotes by Loretta Graziano Breuning
I thought President Obama was bad and President Trump is even worse! ~ Steven Magee
Bad Judgement quotes by Steven Magee
This is forever," he whispered. "No matter how bad we beat the shit out of it. You and me, we are always. ~ Kate Stewart
Bad Judgement quotes by Kate Stewart
He nods, looking through the pictures on the screen on the back of his camera. Some relationships can only exist as memories. But unlike ephemeral digital images that can be sorted and deleted, we can't erase the past. We have to learn to live with all the images that are stored in love's archive, memories tagged good and bad. No Photoshopping. Accept the negative before moving forward. ~ Shannon Mullen
Bad Judgement quotes by Shannon Mullen
I've seen a lot of good things and a lot of the bad of what Hollywood can bring. At the end of the day, I've found that when you try and fit in, that's a way to go crazy; you kind of lose yourself. I'm sometimes the different one at the table, but I don't care. ~ Drew Sidora
Bad Judgement quotes by Drew Sidora
Is Darling still awake?" She stepped back so that he could see Ryn. "He is." Hauk headed for the bed. "Fain sent me a note about what's going on with the locals. I'm here with backup." Darling growled. "Not helpless, people." "Not people, human," Hauk said in an exasperated tone. Darling made an obscene gesture at him. "I thought I got rid of you when I left the hospital." Hauk clutched his chest as if those words wounded him. "Aww now, Dar, you're going to hurt my feelings." "You don't have feelings." "True. Just think of me like a bad STD. I always show up at the worst time." He glanced back at Zarya. "So much for your hot date, huh?" Darling groaned. "You are ever a pain in my ass, Hauk. Should I reset the timers on my explosives in the city? Might give the Resistance pause if they think I'm going to take them or their families with me." Ryn ~ Sherrilyn Kenyon
Bad Judgement quotes by Sherrilyn Kenyon
Who are you today? Are you a gulfstream, uplifting others... or are you a bad parachute? ~ Jose N Harris
Bad Judgement quotes by Jose N Harris
Certainly there are spots which inevitably attach to themselves an atmosphere of holiness and goodness; it might not then be too fanciful to say that some houses are born bad. ~ Shirley Jackson
Bad Judgement quotes by Shirley Jackson
I've had Good and I've had Bad, and the worst I had was Wonderful! ~ John Valentine
Bad Judgement quotes by John Valentine
In a daydream I used to have, all these places were points of happiness to me; all these places were lifeboats to my small drowning soul, for I would imagine myself entering and leaving them, and just that - entering and leaving over and over again - would see me through a bad feeling I did not have a name for. I only knew it felt a little like sadness but heavier than that. ~ Jamaica Kincaid
Bad Judgement quotes by Jamaica Kincaid
Now goblins are cruel, wicked, and bad-hearted. They make no beautiful things, but they make many clever ones. ~ J.R.R. Tolkien
Bad Judgement quotes by J.R.R. Tolkien
the worst happens when you least expect it ~ Dean Koontz
Bad Judgement quotes by Dean Koontz
How plants grow: Quickly. Most plants grow fast and die young. People get seventy years, a bean plant gets four months, maybe five. Once the itty-bitty baby plant peeks out of the ground, it sprouts leaves, so it can absorb more sun. Then it sleeps, eats, and sunbathes until it's ready to flower - a teenage plant. This is a bad time to be a rose or a zinnia or a marigold, because people attack with scissors and cut off what's pretty. But plants are cool. If the rose is picked, the plant grows another one. It needs to bloom to produce more seeds. ~ Laurie Halse Anderson
Bad Judgement quotes by Laurie Halse Anderson
Nessy had never believed that fear and respect were the same thing. Nor did she believe that the castle's manners were beyond redemption, for although her accursed home was mostly bad it was at least a little bit good. She hoped it would be good enough. ~ A. Lee Martinez
Bad Judgement quotes by A. Lee Martinez
Good boy" can be canceled out the next day by "bad boy." "You're a smart girl" by "What a stupid thing to do!" "Careful" by "Careless" . . . and so on.

But you can't take away the time he shoveled the whole walkway even though his arms were tired and his toes were frozen. Or the time he made the baby laugh with his goofy faces when the babysitter couldn't get her to stop crying, or found his mom's reading glasses, or figured out how to make the alarm on the cell phone stop going off when no one else could do it. These are the things he can draw upon to give himself confidence in the face of adversity and discouragement. In the past he did something he was proud of, and he has, within himself, the power to do it again. ~ Julie King
Bad Judgement quotes by Julie King
Every day is not perfect. You have your bad days and good days just like anyone else. You do not want to talk to people sometimes. It is normal. ~ Brett Favre
Bad Judgement quotes by Brett Favre
I have good news and bad news! The bad news is that the abyss and the void are all the same thing and it is monumental and everywhere. The good news is you can lie still in your bed while the cursed and the unskinned walk around in it and not feel a thing. ~ Gabe Habash
Bad Judgement quotes by Gabe Habash
Hey, I'm not a total idiot," said Nagasawa. "Of course life frightens me sometimes. I don't happen to take that as the premise for everything else, though. I'm going to give it a hundred percent and go as far as I can. I'll take what I want and leave what I don't want. That's how I intend to live my life, and if things go bad, I'll stop and reconsider at that point. If you think about it, an unfair society is a society that makes it possible for you to exploit your abilities to the limit." "Sounds like a pretty self-centered way to live," I said. "Maybe so, but I'm not just looking up at the sky and waiting for the fruit to drop. In my own way, I'm working hard. I'm working ten times harder than you are." "That's probably true," I said. ~ Haruki Murakami
Bad Judgement quotes by Haruki Murakami
If adversity was truly bad, warriors wouldn't rise from it. ~ Matshona Dhliwayo
Bad Judgement quotes by Matshona Dhliwayo

Bad Judgement quotes by Sergio Aguero
I cannot tell good art from bad art. I have no eye for it. ~ Seth MacFarlane
Bad Judgement quotes by Seth MacFarlane
It's too bad music can't be like movies. For me, playing music and listening to music and creating music is very environmental. It creates a certain environment; it sets a specific mood. ~ Avey Tare
Bad Judgement quotes by Avey Tare
That's because you're a highly moral person. I'm not. I don't judge, not even myself. ~ Philip K. Dick
Bad Judgement quotes by Philip K. Dick

Bad Judgement quotes by Waqar Younis
Bad men live that they may eat and drink, whereas good men eat and drink that they may live. ~ Socrates
Bad Judgement quotes by Socrates
God's Word brought me peace and a desire for a relationship with Him. I found that questioning Him and searching for answers through Scripture helped me grow and gave me direction. Now my faith in Christ is what gives me confidence for the future. I know that through both good times and bad, He is faithful and will watch over me. ~ Clint Dempsey
Bad Judgement quotes by Clint Dempsey
When I say that basically writing is a hard hustle, I don't mean that it is a bad life, if one can get away with it. It's the miracle of miracles to make a living by the typer. ~ Charles Bukowski
Bad Judgement quotes by Charles Bukowski

There are less than 1 per cent of anorexic girls, but there more than 30 per cent of girls in France - I don't know about England - that are much, much overweight. And it is much more dangerous and very bad for the health. ~ Karl Lagerfeld
Bad Judgement quotes by Karl Lagerfeld
It makes me believe in fate. In most cases, the readings where I've been really bad have usually been the ones where I got the part. ~ Robin Wright
Bad Judgement quotes by Robin Wright
Philosophers are in the habit of indicating the object of judgement by the letter p. There is an insouciance with respect to this fateful letter. It stands ready quietly, unobstrusively, to assure us that we know what we are talking about. For example, when we do epistemology, we are interested in what it is for someone to know - know what? oh yes: p. If we inquire into rational requirements on action or intention, we ask what it is to be obliged to - what? oh yes: see to it that p, intend that, if p, then q, and so on. However, if we udnertake to reflect on thought, on its self-consciousness and its objectivity, then the letter p signifies the deepest question and the deepest comprehension. If only we understood the letter p, the whole world would be open to us. ~ Sebastian Rödl
Bad Judgement quotes by Sebastian Rödl
I'm the greatest thing that ever lived! I'm the king of the world! I'm a bad man. I'm the prettiest thing that ever lived. ~ Muhammad Ali
Bad Judgement quotes by Muhammad Ali
The fact that war is the word we use for almost everything - on terrorism, drugs, even poverty - has certainly helped to desensitize us to its invocation; if we wage wars on everything, how bad can they be? ~ Glenn Greenwald
