Beast Mode doesn't make excuses. It doesn't complain. Whatever you're doing, go out there and get it done. Keep pushing. If I have a bad game, I think about what I have to do to return to form. Figure it out, go to sleep, and wake up a new man. ~ Matt Kemp
Bad Games quotes by Matt Kemp
You have good games, you have bad games. You have good years, you have bad years. I have always been kind of philosophical about that. ~ Steve Nash
Bad Games quotes by Steve Nash

Bad Games quotes by LeBron James
I take it upon myself to get motivated. I know when I have a bad game. It's something I think about myself when it happens, and I don't need someone to tell me I didn't do this or didn't do that. ~ Ed Belfour
Bad Games quotes by Ed Belfour
One thing that I've realized is that you're never going to be 100 percent successful. You're always going to be let down. When you have God in your life and you follow Christ, you're never going to be let down. Every time that you fail, He's there to pick you right back up. Every time you think the world's going to end because you had a couple of bad games, God's there to remind you that's not what it's all about. ~ Mark Teixeira
Bad Games quotes by Mark Teixeira
I don't have anything to prove at all. I've pitched in a lot of games. I've had far more good games than bad games in the postseason. I know that some people may not remember that, for whatever reason. ~ Brad Lidge
Bad Games quotes by Brad Lidge
Experience is the best teacher. I've been through a lot - going to the Olympics, going to the Finals, having a lot of good games and having a lot of bad games. It's a rollercoaster ride and I'm just happy I'm a part of it. If it was easy, then everybody could do it. ~ Kevin Durant
Bad Games quotes by Kevin Durant
It's a pity we can't play in two or three days as I like to play straight away after a bad game ~ Jose Mourinho
Bad Games quotes by Jose Mourinho
I'm not a negative-minded person. But maybe to keep me humble, I look more at my bad games in big situations than good ones. ~ Andy Pettitte
Bad Games quotes by Andy Pettitte
Always play tricks side-by-side to the rules and nobody will judge you bad. ~ Neetesh Dixit
Bad Games quotes by Neetesh Dixit
What cracks me up is people who think I don't take baseball seriously. It's the most important thing in my life. They don't know how hard it is for me to get a bad game out of my mind. I still can't, but I'm getting better. ~ Brady Anderson
Bad Games quotes by Brady Anderson
If we go out there and do our best every game, then I will take my chances that the results will be more good than bad. ~ Stuart Pearce
Bad Games quotes by Stuart Pearce
I spoil a lot of people with my play. If you have three bad games in a seven-year career, people are going to point that out. ~ LeBron James
Bad Games quotes by LeBron James
I used to think it would be neat to play my whole career with one team. But as a baseball player you want to come to the ballpark every day knowing you have a chance to win and that the games mean something. ~ Carlos Beltran
Bad Games quotes by Carlos Beltran
If you don't like vampire games, don't play ~ Vivian Vande Velde
Bad Games quotes by Vivian Vande Velde
There are a lot of things going into making a movie. So many things can go wrong. So many people that need to show up and bring their "A" game. If one thing is out of place, the whole movie can fall apart. ~ Jonah Hill
Bad Games quotes by Jonah Hill
One of the things that's amazing about reading the private writing of these folks is that they enthusiastically describe things which we have now seen, and which are widely regarded as unappealing. They'll write, "It's going to be beautiful, we're going to have a town of 1,000 stone buildings that are all identical." And we as modern readers think, we've seen that; that's bad Soviet architecture or a public housing project. Nobody fantasizes about living there. ~ Christine Jennings
Bad Games quotes by Christine Jennings
When you're a bad girl, you take it in the ass. ~ Renee Rose
Bad Games quotes by Renee Rose
Only a good bishop can be sacrificed, a bad bishop can only be lost. ~ Yuri Razuvaev
Bad Games quotes by Yuri Razuvaev

~pg 95 ~ Nien Cheng
Bad Games quotes by Nien Cheng
How do we take the bad out of fracking? How do you contain the water? How do we make a profit out of that? Get there early. ~ Mario Gabelli
Bad Games quotes by Mario Gabelli
She imagined the universe as a giant sad thing
that consistently felt alienated by itself because it was too large and too sad for anyone
to possibly understand it. Jane felt bad for the universe.
Maybe the universe needed her friends more than she did. ~ Gabby Bess
Bad Games quotes by Gabby Bess
The economic crisis really affected my family - 2006 to 2011 were really bad times. Almost everybody in my family lost their jobs. ~ Joey Badass
Bad Games quotes by Joey Badass
It took everything I had to bite back a little squee of excitement, because there's not a woman on earth who doesn't secretly want to ride off into the sunset with a bad man on a bike . ~ Joanna Wylde
Bad Games quotes by Joanna Wylde
The big problem here is that getting any young person with a short attention span to spend ten thousand hours doing something can be an uphill battle. That's never been more true than these days when whatever kids do has to compete with so many attractive options. It can be surfing the Web, playing video games, tweeting, or Facebook. Back in my day, I confess that I played my fair share of Donkey Kong, but even than there was no Web for me to surf and I didn't have a status. Well, yes I did, it just wasn't posted anywhere yet.
Whatever you want to do in this life, I'm here to encourage you not to lose hope or give up during the first hundred or so of those ten thousand hours that it takes to get good. You should know that in my case it took me a while to "get the bug" for guitar, as my grandpa used to call it. He always said it would happen, almost like a slow sickness. And he knew it would take time. ~ Brad Paisley
Bad Games quotes by Brad Paisley
You [can] become part of someone else's narrative. Every once in a while I would get people asking me questions like, "If your husband is a Muslim, then why haven't you converted to Islam?" Interestingly enough, almost every person who asked me that was a Sunni, and it was their not-so-subtle way of implying that my Shiite husband was a bad Muslim for letting his infidel wife run around unconverted. ~ Annia Ciezadlo
Bad Games quotes by Annia Ciezadlo
Certain food-based biofuels like biodiesel have always been a bad idea. Others like corn ethanol have served a useful purpose and essentially are obsoleting themselves. ~ Vinod Khosla
Bad Games quotes by Vinod Khosla
I am just carbon and bad timing ~ Neil Hilborn
Bad Games quotes by Neil Hilborn
And I *know* I wrote in the above that I hate biographies and reviews that focus on the psychological, surface detail, especially when they pertain to women writers, because I think it's really about the cult of the personality, which is essentially problematic, and I think simplistically psychologizing which biographies are so wont to do is really problematic, and dangerous, especially when dealing with complicated women who just by being writers at a certain time and age were labelled as nonconformist, or worse, hysterical or ill or crazy, and I think branding these women as femme fatales is all so often done. And I know in a way I'm contributing to this by posting their bad-ass photos, except hopefully I am humanizing them and thinking of them as complicated selves and intellects AND CELEBRATING THEM AS WRITERS as opposed to straight-up objectifying. One particular review long ago in Poetry that really got my goat was when Brian Phillips used Gertrude Stein's line about Djuna Barnes having nice ankles as an opener in a review of her poetry, and to my mind it was meant to be entirely dismissive, as of course, Stein was being as well. Stein was many important revolutionary things to literature, but a champion of her fellow women writers she was not. They published my letter, but then let the guy write a reply and scurry to the library and actually read Nightwood, one of my all-time, all-times, and Francis Bacon's too, there's another anecdote. And it's burned in my brain his ~ Kate Zambreno
Bad Games quotes by Kate Zambreno
Hope doesn't come from calculating whether the good news is winning out over the bad. Its simply a choice to take action. ~ Anna Lappe
Bad Games quotes by Anna Lappe
I had bad endometriosis when I was younger, and a doctor told me I'd have a lot of trouble getting pregnant. ~ Liane Moriarty
Bad Games quotes by Liane Moriarty
Really, how bad is eating a piece of cake? Being bad is murdering someone. That's bad. Don't do that. ~ Sarah Michelle Gellar
Bad Games quotes by Sarah Michelle Gellar
When one's thoughts and experience have not reached a certain point for reading a masterpiece, the masterpiece will leave only a bad flavor on his palate. ~ Lin Yutang
Bad Games quotes by Lin Yutang
This looking and not seeing things was a great sin, I thought, and one that was easy to fall into. It was always the beginning of something bad and I thought that we did not deserve to live in the world if we did not see it. ~ Ernest Hemingway,
Bad Games quotes by Ernest Hemingway,
Love is like cigarettes. It gives you a little pleasure while you're at it, but leaves you with a bad taste in your mouth and a pain in your chest. ~ Loraine Despres
Bad Games quotes by Loraine Despres
He had a strong conviction that no government could be ordained that could resist these internal forces, when, they are directed to its destruction by bad men, or unreasoning mobs, and many then believed, as some yet believe, that our government is unequal to such pressure, when the assault is thoroughly desperate. ~ Alexis De Tocqueville
Bad Games quotes by Alexis De Tocqueville
Anyone who thinks politics equals power has no understanding of either politics or power. The games of politics are sponsored by the powerful, and are designed to deliver a single end - to secure their power. ~ Graeme Rodaughan
Bad Games quotes by Graeme Rodaughan
It looks as if the offspring have eyes so that they can see well (bad, teleological, backward causation), but that's an illusion. The offspring have eyes because their parents' eyes did see well (good, ordinary, forward causation). ~ Steven Pinker
Bad Games quotes by Steven Pinker
If you don't have your game-face on, you're going to go home either to a hospital or to a casket. ~ Joe Teti
Bad Games quotes by Joe Teti
I believe in (the American) people. I believe that people are more good than bad. I believe tragic things happen. I think there's evil in the world. But I think that at the end of the day, if we work hard, and if we're true to those things in us that feel true and feel right, that, the world gets a little better each time. That's what this presidency is trying to be about. And I see that in the young people i work with. This is not just drama-obama. This is what I really believe. ~ Barack Obama
Bad Games quotes by Barack Obama
Babe, I know we both have our own issues that might just make us a little fucked up, but sometimes I look at you and I think maybe being fucked up doesn't have to be so bad. ~ River Savage
Bad Games quotes by River Savage
If you happen to get a bad husband or a bad wife even once, it can ruin many lifetimes! ~ Dada Bhagwan
Bad Games quotes by Dada Bhagwan
He said how love was the sweetest expression of life. The one thing that made life worth living. Love made difficult tasks easy. Raising a family could be a great burden, but if there was love, the sacrifice was a pleasure. And when love matured into devotion then everything you did for your lover was a joy. You would give up your life to save those you loved. On the other hand, if love did not mature it could lead to bondage, to jealousy. If you loved someone, but felt possessive of them, you could end up treating them like an object that belonged to you. Just as bad, with your children, if you showered them with too much love, and never disciplined them, they would grow up weak and spoiled. At times, love had to be tough, or it could end up wrecking those dearest to you. ~ Christopher Pike
Bad Games quotes by Christopher Pike
I managed a team that was so bad we considered a 2-0 count on the batter a rally. ~ Rich Donnelly
Bad Games quotes by Rich Donnelly
I guarantee you, if you could give me 10 points in all those seventh games against the Boston Celtics, instead of Bill Russell having 11 rings, I could've at least had nine or eight. ~ Wilt Chamberlain
Bad Games quotes by Wilt Chamberlain
I can't say that there's a common practice that has to do with pitch language or with the way pieces are put together because today, anything is fair game. As far as I'm concerned, my own common practice is a piece that engages the attention of listeners from beginning to end, and doesn't rely on or expect the listener to zone out. ~ Paul Lansky
Bad Games quotes by Paul Lansky
He loves me so he hurts me
To try and make me good.
It doesn't work. I'm just too bad
And don't do what I should.

My memory has so many different sections and, like all survivors, there are so many compartments with so many triggers. I'll remember a smell which reminds me of a man which reminds me of a place which reminds me of another man who I think was with a woman who had a certain smell - and I'm back to square one. This is the case for most survivors, I believe. When we try to put together our pasts, the triggers are many and varied, the memories are disjointed - and why wouldn't they be? We were children. Even someone with an idyllic childhood who is only trying to remember the lovely things which happened to them will scratch their head and wonder who gave them that doll and was it for Christmas or their third birthday? Did they have a party when they were four or five? When did they go on a plane for the first time? You see, even happy memories are hard to piece together - so imagine how hard it is to collate all of the trauma, to pull together all of the things I've been trying to push away for so many years. ~ Laurie Matthew
Bad Games quotes by Laurie Matthew
I'll lend you my confidence boosting CD set," she would say if I alluded to any concern or worry . . .

Every few weeks, she had a whole new paradigm for living, and I had to hear about it. "Get good at knowing when you're tired," she'd advised me once. "Too many women wear themselves thin these days." A lifestyle tip from Get the Most Out of Your Day, Ladies included the suggestion to preplan your outfits for the workweek on Sunday evenings.

"That way you won't be second-guessing yourself in the morning."

I really hated when she talked like that. ~ Ottessa Moshfegh
Bad Games quotes by Ottessa Moshfegh
I guess I've learned that there's really no such thing as a bad label, there is only a bad contract. ~ Peter Steele
Bad Games quotes by Peter Steele
Drowning was bad enough. But drowning sad and sober, that's too cruel. ~ George R R Martin
Bad Games quotes by George R R Martin
The root of all evil: that the slavish morality of meekness, chastity, selflessness, absolute obedience, has triumphed - ruling natures were thus condemned (1) to hypocrisy, (2) to torments of conscience - creative natures felt like rebels against God, uncertain and inhibited by eternal values.

In summa: the best things have been slandered because the weak or the immoderate swine have cast a bad light on them - and the best men have remained hidden - and have often misunderstood themselves. ~ Friedrich Nietzsche
Bad Games quotes by Friedrich Nietzsche
Feeling good and feeling bad are not necessarily opposites. Both at least involve feelings. Any feeling is a reminder of life. The worst 'feeling' evidently is non-feeling. ~ Willard Gaylin
Bad Games quotes by Willard Gaylin
Perhaps MacKinnon should reflect on these suggestions that the censorship issue is not so simple-minded, so transparently gender-against-gender, as she insists. She should stop calling names long enough to ask whether personal sensationalism, hyperbole, and bad arguments are really what the cause of sexual equality now needs. ~ Ronald Dworkin
Bad Games quotes by Ronald Dworkin
Victor Saville was bad news because he wanted money just to do one big picture. ~ Mickey Spillane
Bad Games quotes by Mickey Spillane
Nerves," Mik told Karou.
"Bad?"
"Terrible." Stepping up behind Zuzana, he bent down to enfold her in a spoon-hug. "Ferociously, dreadfully awful. She's unbearable. You take her. I've had enough."
Zuzana batted at him, then squealed as he buried his face in the curve of her throat and made exaggerated kissing noises. ~ Laini Taylor
Bad Games quotes by Laini Taylor
He is not bad, I don't think. Perhaps he is simply too lazy to be good. ~ Patrick DeWitt
Bad Games quotes by Patrick DeWitt
So many people seem to me not to be either bad or good, but simply, you know, very silly. Mr. ~ Agatha Christie
Bad Games quotes by Agatha Christie
Leaders trust their guts. "Intuition" is one of those good words that has gotten a bad rap. For some reason, intuition has become a "soft" notion. Garbage! Intuition is the new physics. It's an Einsteinian, seven-sense, practical way to make tough decisions. Bottom line, circa 2001 to 2010: The crazier the times are, the more important it is for leaders to develop and to trust their intuition. ~ Tom Peters
Bad Games quotes by Tom Peters
The Shrink always warned me that carriers stay wracked with lifelong guilt. It's not an uplifting thing having turned lovers into monsters. We feel bad that we haven't turned into monsters ourselves
survivor's guilt, that's called. And we feel a bit stupid that we didn't notice our own symptoms earlier. I mean, I'd been sort of wondering why the Atkins diet was giving me night vision. But that hadn't seemed like something to worry about ... ~ Scott Westerfeld
Bad Games quotes by Scott Westerfeld
The hell of human suffering, evil and oppression is paved with good intentions. The men who have most injured and oppressed humanity, who have most deeply sinned against it, were according to their standards and their conscience good men; what was bad in them, what wrought moral evil and cruelty, treason to truth and progress, was not at all in their intentions, in their purpose, in their personal character, but in their opinions. ~ Robert Briffault
Bad Games quotes by Robert Briffault
So Buck can enjoy sitting in a cell contemplating how he blew up his life. That
dickwad hurt two people sitting at this table. And you're worried about who'll look bad if they tell? Screw that. Dean and D.J. and Kennedy and
every frat boy on this campus can all go fuck themselves. Are we sisters or not? ~ Tammara Webber
Bad Games quotes by Tammara Webber
The socializing hadn't been so bad, he acknowledged, and he couldn't say he minded the food, though a man would do better with a good beef sandwich. Still it was plentiful, even if you did have to pick your way through half of it to get to something recognizable. ~ Nora Roberts
