Its authors meant it to be ... a stumbling block to those who in after times might seek to turn a free people back into the hateful paths of despotism. They knew the proneness of prosperity to breed tyrants, and they meant when such should re-appear in this fair land and commence their vocation they should find left for them at least one hard nut to crack. ~ Abraham Lincoln
Abraham quotes by Abraham Lincoln
Certainly a visitor from Mars descending upon a colony of birth-injured cripples, dwarfs and hunchbacks...could not deduce what they should have been. But then let us not study cripples, but the closest thing we can get to whole, healthy men. In them, we find qualitative differences, a different system of motivation, emotion, value, thinking and perceiving. In a certain sense, only the saints are mankind. All the rest are cripples. ~ Abraham H. Maslow
Abraham quotes by Abraham H. Maslow
The Sinai covenant itself, then, is a law-covenant. The land is given to Israel, but for the purpose of fulfilling its covenantal vocation. Remaining in the land is there fore conditional on Israel's personal performance of the stipulations that people swore at Sinai ... The ultimate promise of a worldwide family of Abraham
sinners justified and glorified in a renewed creation
is unconditional in its basis, while the continuing existence of the national theocracy as a type of that everlasting covenant depended on Israel's obedience ... The Decalogue and Joshua 24 fit this suzerainty pattern, but as Mendenhall observe, "it can readily be seen that the covenant with Abraham (and Noah) is of completely different form." P.15 ~ Michael S. Horton
Abraham quotes by Michael S. Horton
There are no two hours alike. Every hour is unique and the only one given at the moment, exclusive and endlessly precious. Judaism teaches us to be attached to holiness in time; to learn how to consecrate sanctuaries that emerge from the magnificent stream of a year. ~ Abraham Joshua Heschel
Abraham quotes by Abraham Joshua Heschel
Sin lives solely by plagiarising the ideas of God ~ Abraham Kuyper
Abraham quotes by Abraham Kuyper
You cannot have the right to do what is wrong! ~ Abraham Lincoln
Abraham quotes by Abraham Lincoln
Die when I may, I want it said of me by those who know me best, that I always plucked a thistle and planted a flower when I thought a flower would grow. ~ Abraham Lincoln
Abraham quotes by Abraham Lincoln
We have a shit storm behind door A and a storm of shit behind door B ~ Abraham Ford (The Walking Dead TV Series)
Abraham quotes by Abraham Ford (The Walking Dead TV Series)
The fact that an African American sits in the White House at the helm of government in the United States of America on this 150th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation represents both phenomenal political symbolism and a victory of faith in democracy that should not be lost on any American. ~ Aberjhani
Abraham quotes by Aberjhani
It's very difficult to stay in one's heart as it keeps beating ~ Amit Abraham
Abraham quotes by Amit Abraham
Don't know how many minutes I stood there. It was precisely the comfort she seemed to need this night. If only she had known to ask, or I to give, we could've done away with the blindfold ... Thank God for the blindfold. She ~ Abraham Verghese
Abraham quotes by Abraham Verghese
Love Is An Act Of Valour. ~ Amit Abraham
Abraham quotes by Amit Abraham
What is life for? Life is for you. ~ Abraham Maslow
Abraham quotes by Abraham Maslow
I chose the specialty of surgery because of Matron, that steady presence during my boyhood and adolescence. 'What is the hardest thing you can possibly do?' she said when I went to her for advice on the darkest day of the first half of my life.
I squirmed. How easily Matron probed the gap between ambition and expediency. 'Why must I do what is hardest?'
'Because, Marion, you are an instrument of God. Don't leave the instrument sitting in its case my son. Play! Leave no part of your instrument unexplored. Why settle for 'Three Blind Mice' when you can play the 'Gloria'?
'But, Matron, I can't dream of playing Bach ... I couldn't read music.
'No, Marion,' she said her gaze soft ... 'No, not Bach's 'Gloria'. Yours! Your 'Gloria' lives within you. The greatest sin is not finding it, ignoring what God made possible in you. ~ Abraham Verghese
Abraham quotes by Abraham Verghese
Why dost thou heap up wealth, which thou must quit,
Or what is worse, be left by it?
Why dost thou load thyself when thou 'rt to fly,
Oh, man! ordain'd to die?
Why dost thou build up stately rooms on high,
Thou who art under ground to lie?
Thou sow'st and plantest, but no fruit must see,
For death, alas! is reaping thee. ~ Abraham Cowley
Abraham quotes by Abraham Cowley
Be the beauty which beasts will never fancy but which gentlemen will respect. ~ Amit Abraham
Abraham quotes by Amit Abraham
You may deceive all the people part of the time, and part of the people all the time, but not all the people all the time. ~ Abraham Lincoln
Abraham quotes by Abraham Lincoln
Abraham did not know where he was going immediately, but he knew where he was going ultimately. He did not know the Whither but he knew the Whom. He believed God, and, being sure of his destiny, he did not worry about his destination. ~ Vance Havner
Abraham quotes by Vance Havner
With this honor devolves upon you also a corresponding responsibility. As the country herein trusts you, so under God it will sustain you. ~ Abraham Lincoln
Abraham quotes by Abraham Lincoln
If 600,000 people have to die in order for the nation to live, then 600,000 people will die. ~ Abraham Lincoln
Abraham quotes by Abraham Lincoln
Labor is the great source from which nearly all, if not all, human comforts and necessities are drawn. ~ Abraham Lincoln
Abraham quotes by Abraham Lincoln
Continuing to tell stories of shortage only continues to contradict your desire for abundance, and you cannot have it both ways: You cannot focus upon unwanted and recieve wanted. You cannot focus upon stories about money that make you feel uncomfortable and allow into your experience what makes you feel comfortable. A different story will bring different results: My thoughts are the basis for the attraction of all things that I consider to be good, which includes enough money, and health, for my comfort and joy. ~ Abraham Hicks
Abraham quotes by Abraham Hicks
When I marched with Martin Luther King in Selma, I felt my legs were praying. ~ Abraham Joshua Heschel
Abraham quotes by Abraham Joshua Heschel
I destroy my enemy if I make him my friend. ~ Abraham Lincoln
Abraham quotes by Abraham Lincoln
What did it say when a man had fewer clothes than books? ~ Abraham Verghese
Abraham quotes by Abraham Verghese
Marriage is neither heaven nor hell, it is simply purgatory. ~ Abraham Lincoln
Abraham quotes by Abraham Lincoln
As a host, Lincoln was "never at a loss as to the subjects that please the different classes of visitors and there is a certain quaintness and originality about all he has to say, so that one cannot help feeling interested. His 'talk' is not brilliant," Villard observed. "His phrases are not ceremoniously set, but pervaded with a humorousness and, at times, with a grotesque joviality, that will always please. I think it would be hard to find one who tells better jokes, enjoys them better and laughs oftener than Abraham Lincoln. ~ Harold Holzer
Abraham quotes by Harold Holzer
[I]f the policy of the Government, upon vital questions affecting, the whole people is to be irrevocably fixed by decisions of the Supreme Court, the instant they are made, in ordinary litigation between parties in personal actions, the people will have ceased, to be their own rulers, having, to that extent, practically resigned their Government, into the hands of that eminent tribunal. ~ Abraham Lincoln
Abraham quotes by Abraham Lincoln
There are dead thoughts and there are living thoughts. A dead thought has been compared to a stone which one may plant in the soil. Nothing will come out. A living thought is like a seed. In the process of thinking, an answer without a question is devoid of life. It may enter the mind; it will not penetrate the soul. It may become a part of one's knowledge; it will not come forth as a creative force. ~ Abraham Joshua Heschel
Abraham quotes by Abraham Joshua Heschel
My freind is the man who gives me a book I aint read.Abraham Linclion ~ John Flanagan
Abraham quotes by John Flanagan
Men like him became stubborn with opposition, because their convictions were all they had. ~ Abraham Verghese
Abraham quotes by Abraham Verghese
You don't have to shine to prove that you are a star, but you need to reason to show that you have the ability. We can think that we have all the answers in the world even though we don't have it, how we can feel jealous of something or someone that was never ours, but we must have a single certainty: that we must take a risk for what we want to achieve and we must never fail to show our opinion . ~ Abraham Schneersohn
Abraham quotes by Abraham Schneersohn
Most men have no purpose but to exist, Abraham; to pass quietly through history as minor characters upon a stage they cannot even see ~ Seth Grahame-Smith
Abraham quotes by Seth Grahame-Smith
Guilt leads to righteous action, but rarely is it the right action. ~ Abraham Verghese
Abraham quotes by Abraham Verghese
To observe the seventh day does not mean merely to obey or to conform to the strictness of a divine command. To observe is to celebrate the creation of the world and to create the seventh day all over again, the majesty of holiness in time, "a day of rest, a day of freedom," a day which is like "a lord and king of all other days," 17 a lord and king in the commonwealth of time. ~ Abraham Joshua Heschel
Abraham quotes by Abraham Joshua Heschel
But Scripture says that before they even entered Egypt, Abraham discussed with Sarah the dangers this place posed for a man with a beautiful wife. "When the Egyptians see you...they will say, "this is his wife"; and they will kill me, but they will let you live," he told her (Gen.12:12) Abraham's motives were selfish and cowardly, and the scheme reflected a serious weakness in faith. But Sarah's devotion to her husband is nonetheless commendable, and God honored her for it. ~ John F. MacArthur Jr.
Abraham quotes by John F. MacArthur Jr.
Years ago, a Muslim woman called my radio show and asked me why I was not a Muslim. She asked this question with complete sincerity, and I answered her with equal sincerity.
The name of her religion, I told her, is Islam, which in Arabic means submission (to God). The name of the Jewish people is Israel, which in Hebrew means struggle with God. I'd rather struggle with God, I said, than only submit to God.
She thanked me and hung up. The answer apparently satisfied her.
Arguing/struggling with God is not only Jewishly permitted, it is central to the Torah and later Judaism. In this regard, as in others, the Torah is unique. In no other foundational religious text of which I am aware is arguing with God a religious expectation. The very first Jew, Abraham, argues with God, as does the greatest Jew, Moses. (It is worth noting that though Muslims consider Abraham their father as well, arguing with God has no place in the Quran or in normative Islam.)
It is difficult to overstate the importance of this Jewish concept. For one thing, it enabled Jews to believe in the importance of reason - God Himself could be challenged on the basis of reason and morality; one does not have to suspend reason to be a believing Jew. Indeed, it assured Jews that belief in God was itself the apotheosis of reason. For another, it had profound psychological benefits to Jews. We do not have to squelch our questioning of, or even our anger at, God. One can be both religious and real ~ Dennis Prager
Abraham quotes by Dennis Prager
I am absent altogether too much to be a suitable instructor for a law-student. When a man has reached the age that Mr. Widner has,and has already been doing for himself, my judgment is, that he reads the books for himself without an instructor. That is precisely the way I came to the law. ~ Abraham Lincoln
Abraham quotes by Abraham Lincoln
I am a slow walker, but I never walk back. ~ Abraham Lincoln
Abraham quotes by Abraham Lincoln
When a man is a mystery to himself you can hardly call him mysterious. ~ Abraham Verghese
Abraham quotes by Abraham Verghese
ABRAHAM: Do you bite your thumb at us, sir?
SAMPSON [Aside to Gregory]: Is the law of our side, if I say ay?
GREGORY [Aside to Sampson]: No.
SAMPSON: No, sir, I do not bite my thumb at you, sir, but I bite my thumb, sir. ~ William Shakespeare
Abraham quotes by William Shakespeare
New insight begins when satisfaction comes to an end, when all that has been seen, said, or done looks like a distortion ... Man's true fulfillment depends on communion with that which transcends him. ~ Abraham Joshua Heschel
Abraham quotes by Abraham Joshua Heschel
The love of God. The mercy of God. The judgment of God. You take the shoes off your feet and stand as you would before a mountain or at the edge of the sea. But the friendship of God? It is not something God does. It is something Abraham and God, or Moses and God, do together. Not even God can be a friend all by himself apparently. You see Abraham, say, not standing at all but sitting down, loosening his prayer shawl, trimming the end off his cigar. He is not being Creature for the moment, and God is not being Creator. There is no agenda. They are simply being together, the two of them, and being themselves. ~ Frederick Buechner
Abraham quotes by Frederick Buechner
I think that if anything can be proved by natural theology, it is that slavery is morally wrong. God gave man a mouth to receive bread, hands to feed it, and his hand has a right to carry bread to his mouth without controversy. ~ Abraham Lincoln
Abraham quotes by Abraham Lincoln
I stepped out to the lawn. I remember the air that night, and how it was so brisk that it could revive the dead. The fragrance of eucalyptus stoking a home fire, the smell of wet grass, of dung fuel, of tobacco, of swamp air, and the perfume of hundreds of roses
this was the scent of Missing. No, it was the scent of a continent. ~ Abraham Verghese
Abraham quotes by Abraham Verghese
Over the years I have realized it's not the people who come into your life but the choices they force you to make gives the direction to your life. ~ Amit Abraham
Abraham quotes by Amit Abraham
A burdened heart doesn't equate to a lack of faith. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob can heal with a simple command. The burden comes from wondering if that's His will and may it be done. ~ Donna Lynn Hope
Abraham quotes by Donna Lynn Hope
Never you look down on your Abraham because of your Sarah because the blessing is not in the womb of Sarah but in the loins of Abraham. ~ Ikechukwu Izuakor
Abraham quotes by Ikechukwu Izuakor
The key to your happiness is to own your slippers, own who you are, own how you look, own your family, own the talents you have, and own the ones you don't. If you keep saying your slippers aren't yours, then you'll die searching, you'll die bitter, always feeling you were promised more. Not only our actions, but also our omissions, become our destiny. ~ Abraham Verghese
Abraham quotes by Abraham Verghese
How often has not the parallel been drawn and the golden age of the Roman Empire, when the external brilliancy of life likewise dazzled the eye, notwithstanding that the social diagnosis could yield no other verdict than 'rotten to the very core'? ~ Abraham Kuyper
Abraham quotes by Abraham Kuyper
Abraham is the shared ancestor of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. He stands at the heart of these three faiths. And yet you know almost nothing about him. ~ Bruce Feiler
Abraham quotes by Bruce Feiler
This is Zemzem near Mecca. According to this, however, Hagar headed into the Arabian Peninsula rather than toward Egypt. ~ Abraham Meir Ben Ibn Ezra
Abraham quotes by Abraham Meir Ben Ibn Ezra
NO ADMISSION FOR ADMISSION. ~ Amit Abraham
Abraham quotes by Amit Abraham
No matter what ailed you, you went to see the barber surgeon who wound up cupping you, bleeding you, purging you. And, oh yes, if you wanted, he would give you a haircut and pull your tooth while he was at it. ~ Abraham Verghese
Abraham quotes by Abraham Verghese
The study of crippled, stunted, immature, and unhealthy specimens can yield only a cripple psychology and a cripple philosophy ~ Abraham Maslow
Abraham quotes by Abraham Maslow
One eighth of the whole population were colored slaves, not distributed generally over the Union, but localized in the Southern part of it. These slaves constituted a peculiar and powerful interest. All knew that this interest was, somehow, the cause of the war. ~ Abraham Lincoln
Abraham quotes by Abraham Lincoln
The best way to get a bad law repealed is to enforce it strictly. ~ Abraham Lincoln
Abraham quotes by Abraham Lincoln
The easiest decision you could make is judge, it takes courage to search for the truth. ~ Abraham Ruiz
Abraham quotes by Abraham Ruiz
Ours was the marsh country, down by the river, within, as the river wound, twenty miles of the sea. My first most vivid and broad impression of the identity of things seems to me to have been gained on a memorable raw afternoon towards evening. At such a time I found out for certain that this bleak place overgrown with nettles was the churchyard; and that Philip Pirrip, late of this parish, and also Georgiana wife of the above, were dead and buried; and that Alexander, Bartholomew, Abraham, Tobias, and Roger, infant children of the aforesaid, were also dead and buried; and that the dark flat wilderness beyond the churchyard, intersected with dikes and mounds and gates, with scattered cattle feeding on it, was the marshes; and that the low leaden line beyond was the river; and that the distant savage lair from which the wind was rushing was the sea; and that the small bundle of shivers growing afraid of it all and beginning to cry, was Pip. "Hold ~ Charles Dickens
Abraham quotes by Charles Dickens
I value science
none can prize it more,
It gives ten thousand motives to adore:
Be it religious, as it ought to be,
The heart it humbles, and it bows the knee. ~ Abraham Coles
Abraham quotes by Abraham Coles
I hold that while man exists, it is his duty to improve not only his own condition, but to assist in ameliorating mankind. ~ Abraham Lincoln
Abraham quotes by Abraham Lincoln
There have been many amazing Presidents in American history, including George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Dwight Eisenhower and Ronald Reagan, all of whom I greatly admire. ~ Donald Trump
Abraham quotes by Donald Trump
The only instance of praying to saints, mentioned in the Bible, is that of the rich man in torment calling upon Abraham; and let it be remembered, that it was practised only by a lost soul and without success. ~ Richard Cecil
Abraham quotes by Richard Cecil
Most people are as happy as they want to be. ~ Abraham Lincoln
Abraham quotes by Abraham Lincoln
And this, too, shall pass away. ~ Abraham Lincoln
Abraham quotes by Abraham Lincoln
The leading rule for the lawyer, as for the man of every other calling, is diligence. Leave nothing for to-morrow which can be done to-day. ~ Abraham Lincoln
Abraham quotes by Abraham Lincoln
We must not promise what we ought not, lest we be called on to perform what we cannot. ~ Abraham Lincoln
Abraham quotes by Abraham Lincoln
The mystic cords of memory, stretching from every battlefield and patriot grave to every living heart and hearthstone, all over this broad land, will yet swell the chorus of the Union, when again touched, as surely they will be, by the angels of our nature. ~ Abraham Lincoln
Abraham quotes by Abraham Lincoln
I don't take no dive for nobody. Whaddya think I am, a tanker! ~ Abraham Polonsky
Abraham quotes by Abraham Polonsky
Did you know that Judaism is based on paradigm shifts, Henry? First came Abraham, then came Moses. Then came the prophets, then came the rabbis. Pretty amazing stuff. Each iteration, reaching for the godhead. What comes next, Henry? What comes next? ~ Michael Davidow
Abraham quotes by Michael Davidow
Over hundred years ago Abraham Lincoln signed the Homestead Act. There was wide distribution of land and they didn't confiscate anyone's privately owned land ... We need an industrial Homestead Act. ~ Ronald Reagan
Abraham quotes by Ronald Reagan
You had to exert yourself to see this world. But if you did, if you had that kind of curiosity, if you had an innate interest in the welfare of your fellow human beings, and if you went through that door, a strange thing happened: you left your petty troubles on the threshold. It could be addictive ~ Abraham Verghese
Abraham quotes by Abraham Verghese
I realized that I could have done more for him if I had been in his house. I would have pushed morphine--large doses. Morphine disconnects the head from the body, makes the isthmus of a neck vanish and diminishes the awareness of suffering. It is like a magic trick: the head on the pillow, at peace, while the chest toils away. ~ Abraham Verghese
Abraham quotes by Abraham Verghese
During the Civil War, on hearing complaints that Gen. Ulysses S. Grant drank alcohol to excess Find out what Grant drinks and send a barrel of it to each of my other generals! ~ Abraham Lincoln
Abraham quotes by Abraham Lincoln
Fondly do we hope, ferverently do we pray, that this mighty scourge of war may speedily pass away. ~ Abraham Lincoln
Abraham quotes by Abraham Lincoln
I'm a slow walker, but I never walk back. ~ Abraham Lincoln
Abraham quotes by Abraham Lincoln
You have confidence in yourself, which is valuable, if not an indispensable quality. ~ Abraham Lincoln
Abraham quotes by Abraham Lincoln
Faith is not believing that God can, but that God will. ~ Abraham Lincoln
Abraham quotes by Abraham Lincoln
The land, the earth God gave to man for his home ... should never be the possession of any man, corporation, (or) society ... any more than the air or water. ~ Abraham Lincoln
Abraham quotes by Abraham Lincoln
The fact is, everyone is in sales. Whatever area you work in, you do have clients and you do need to sell. ~ Jay Abraham
Abraham quotes by Jay Abraham
I am in favor of animal rights as well as human rights. That is the way of a whole human being. ~ Abraham Lincoln
Abraham quotes by Abraham Lincoln
Like Abraham, as we embark on our own journey, have a lil faith, take the imparted wisdoms from our parents/teachers, go forward and be attentive always to the quiet voice of your heart ~ Daniel Gottlieb
Abraham quotes by Daniel Gottlieb
Abraham Lincoln did not go to Gettysburg having commissioned a poll to find out what would sell in Gettysburg. There were no people with percentages for him, cautioning him about this group or that group or what they found in exit polls a year earlier. When will we have the courage of Lincoln? ~ Robert Coles
Abraham quotes by Robert Coles
Our generation is wonderful generation, full of wonder. It's very hard to find an example of it in all our history. Composed of contradictions - light and darkness mixed. ~ Abraham Isaac Kook
Abraham quotes by Abraham Isaac Kook
In all my years here, no one's been able to remember my name when I'm introduced. No one has bothered. They usually see us as types, not as individuals. His ~ Abraham Verghese
Abraham quotes by Abraham Verghese
It must now atone in blood for its complicity in wickedness. ~ Abraham Lincoln
Abraham quotes by Abraham Lincoln
Remembering that Peter denied his Lord with an oath, after most solemnly protesting that he never would, I will not swear I will make no committals; but I do think I will not. ~ Abraham Lincoln
Abraham quotes by Abraham Lincoln
Judge us not equally, Abraham. We may all deserve hell, but some of us deserve it sooner than others ~ Seth Grahame-Smith
Abraham quotes by Seth Grahame-Smith
How many honest men do you know? Take the sinners away from the saints, you're lucky to end up with Abraham Lincoln. ~ Paul Newman
Abraham quotes by Paul Newman
Did God tell you to do this, Merry? Did he lead you in this direction?" Through the tears, Merry nodded again. "Then you have to believe he has it all under control. If it is his plan that you lose her, then you must face the fact that God knows best. We will pray that that is not in his plan. But, Merry, you know as well as anyone that God's plans are his own and no man understands his ways. We just have to trust him. It's hard to let him have control when you think he might change all you've ever known. Imagine what Abraham must have felt when God asked him to sacrifice his only son on an altar. At the last second, God stepped in by way of an angel and kept him from being obedient. Obedience is always better than sacrifice. You were obedient in doing what God has told you to do. You may also have to sacrifice, but we don't know that yet, do we? Trust God, sister. We'll all be praying for you. ~ Darlene Shortridge
Abraham quotes by Darlene Shortridge
No policy that does not rest upon some philosophical public opinion can be permanently maintained. ~ Abraham Lincoln
Abraham quotes by Abraham Lincoln
Gratefully accepting the proffered honor, [to inscribe a new legal work to him] I give the leave, begging only that the inscription may be in modest terms, not representing me as a man of great learning, or a very extraordinary one in any respect. ~ Abraham Lincoln
Abraham quotes by Abraham Lincoln
In working myself ragged, I felt integrated, I felt American, and I rarely had time to think of home. ~ Abraham Verghese
Abraham quotes by Abraham Verghese
Our self (Soul) is maya (an illusion) where it is merely individual and finite, where it considers its separateness as absolute; it is satyam (truth) where it recognizes its essence in the universal and infinite, in the Supreme Self, in paramatman (God). This is what Christ means when he says, "Before Abraham was, I am" (i.e. before Abraham was God, who is the same that is in my soul - I am That.) ~ Rabindranath Tagore
Abraham quotes by Rabindranath Tagore
Peace does not appear so distant as it did. I hope it will come soon, and come to stay; and so come as to be worth the keeping in all future time. ~ Abraham Lincoln
Abraham quotes by Abraham Lincoln
When one looks truly at the good side of everyone, others come to love him very naturally, and he does not need even a speck of flattery. ~ Abraham Isaac Kook
Abraham quotes by Abraham Isaac Kook
God is of no importance unless He is of supreme importance. ~ Abraham Joshua Heschel
Abraham quotes by Abraham Joshua Heschel
The submissive will make it through to that final scene, for the word of God will lead the man and woman of Christ "in a straight and narrow course across that everlasting gulf of misery ... and land their souls ... at the right hand of God in the kingdom, to sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and with Jacob, and with all our holy fathers" (Helaman 3:30) "who have been ever since the world began ... to go no more out." ~ Neal A. Maxwell
Abraham quotes by Neal A. Maxwell
It is not important who the leader is. It's important what and where he/she leads one to. ~ Amit Abraham
Abraham quotes by Amit Abraham
This shift from automatic living to awakening parallels Carl Jung's Individuation, Dada Bhagwan's Self-realization, Dr. Abraham Mazlow's Self-Actualization, G.I. Gurdjieff's Self-Work and other related approaches to differentiating the innate being from the unconscious complexes we have mistaken for identity. ~ Antero Alli
