If we are not vigilant, we drift from God's glorious ambition for our lives, losing sight of anything remotely grand, trading God-instilled passion for an easier and more often traveled road. And if our hearts aren't awakened by majesty, our lives soon shrink into little bits of nothingness.

Crazy is good. The alternative is normal.

That's the lesson for us. It's never too late. We're never too far gone. We haven't strayed too far. God is always good, and he always remembers us. Our prayer isn't to get revenge on a group of people, but it's to be strengthened once more so we might live for God's glory.

If our only motivation for taking down a giant is our freedom, then we won't have all the motivation that's needed. God's glory is also the motivation for us to walk in victory over the giants in our lives.

There's something that's not right or not perfect or not the way we had hoped or dreamed that it was going to be. But God promises that He will use everything and every moment to ultimately take us to a new Heaven and a new Earth. For now, we're stuck in the middle.

While we were at rest, Christ was in rescue mode. While we were doing nothing, He was doing EVERYTHING. He was down in the depths of the earth fighting for our freedom.

Faithfully carry what God has put in your hands right now. This is God's will.

Abandoning the tiny story of me and embracing the forever Story of Jesus will allow our little lives to be filled with the wonder of God as we live for the unending applause of His name. You don't have to know everything about the mountain in front of you to take the next step

The Word of God isn't for one particular season. It's for every season. But in its specific application, it's best read from Thanksgiving to Christmas.

It is because of our foolishness that we forget who God is.

God is always seeking you. Every sunset. Every clear blue sky. Each ocean wave. The starry hosts of night. He blankets each new day with the invitation, 'I am here.

No big shocker that following Jesus is costly. The best things in life always are.

God starts with who we've become, and then he works his way to how we live.

If only everyone could know we've been created by and for God! If only we could all comprehend that we're precious to Him, housing mirrored souls designed to reflect His glory.

Maybe your dream is to go to school or get a degree or accomplish a certain task or find a spouse or start a business or move to a certain place or create a movement or carry the gospel to people who've never heard it before. Those may be great dreams, but there's a bigger dream that overrides everything else: it's that your life counts for the glory of God. That's the overriding dream of God's heart. If we don't embrace that dream, then we are in trouble, because all our smaller dreams are subject to change.

When we are foolish God intervenes.

Think of it this way instead: I got better and I have a story and I want to tell the world what Jesus has done in my life because I want Jesus to be glorified. God may use counselors, medications, doctors, and all that, but it's Jesus who heals you.

We may say we value this thing or that thing more than any other, but the volume of our actions speaks louder than our words.

As long as we are faking it we are just showing the world how to fake it - but they already are! They want to see us get real.

Just want you to look around; that's people saying, "God Almighty, the Maker of heaven, the one Who's sitting on the only throne that's not under threat - He spoke to me. He spoke to me." "God spoke to me." Don't let the voice of the darkness tell you that you are not worth that God would not speak to you. Don't let him tell you, you don't matter. God spoke to you.

It's not that we should declare the praises of God. It's that we may.

Your life may be messed and your foolishness may have put you into captivity but Jesus can do the whatever it is that is immeasurably more in your life.

At the heart of it all, Passion exists to see a generation stake their lives on what matters most. For us, that's the fame of the One who rescues and restores, and the privilege we have to fully leverage our lives by amplifying His name in everything we do.

Humility is not a character trait to develop, it's the natural by-product of being with Jesus.

Father, thank You for hearing my cry from the pit. I receive Your grace today and stand on the solid ground of Your righteousness. Every time I think of how You rescued me, my mouth can't help but sing Your praise. I love You and am so grateful for You. Let my whole life sing Your song. Amen!

Sin doesn't make us bad, sin makes us dead. The gospel doesn't make us better, the gospel makes us alive.

Accept the fact that you're never gonna be someone else and embrace the fact that the world needs you as God made you to be.

The good thing about life is that you can research anywhere you are. I'm just constantly gathering little bits of information all the time. I'm always grabbing something out of the headlines, out of the news or reading a book about astronomy and just trying to figure out how to get my head around the facts but the bigger stress is trying to connect those facts to normal life situations and our relationship with God.

You only have one life. And you only have one life of worship. You have one brief opportunity in time to declare your allegiance, to unleash your affection, to exhault something or someone above all else. So don't waste your worship on some little god, squandering your birthright on idols made only with human imagination. Guard your worship. And carefully evaluate all potential takers.

Who we truly are is who God created us to be. That's what's most important. Our true identity is seen in light of God. He determines the destiny of our life.

I know a lot of us feel like that. We come to a place where we're walking through the fires and trials of life, and we don't know where to turn. What we need is a fresh start. We need our story to go in a new direction. What we need is a comeback of our own.

Even if we don't see it, God is always working underneath the surface, behind the scenes and orchestrating His plans and purposes.

What a way to walk through life: entering every environment with every intention to shine as little light as possible on me and as much light as possible on the Son of God.

Brokenness is the bow from which God launches the arrow of healing.

But to mean it when I say that I want my life to count for His glory is to drive a stake through the heart of self - a painful and determined dying to me that must be a part of every day I live.

Comfort and familiarity are not what God points us toward. Jesus isn't in the business of flying to and fro for the rest of our lives, hand-delivering spiritual baby food to us.

God always gets the glory when Jesus comes.

Quit trying to do what I already know you can't do and let Christ do what only He can through you.

We are responsible for our captivity to sin. In our foolishness, we forget God. However, God intervenes!

I'm talking about influence that God wants to give us. I'm talking about opportunities. I'm talking about walking in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. I'm talking about stepping out in obedience. I'm talking about prayer and action. If our hearts are wide open in faith, then God is wide open to us.

God didn't say, 'Be still and feel that I am God,' He said, 'Be still and know'.

God wants to do immeasurably more in & through your life than you could ask.

The only thing that will help us move past the giant of rejection is to immerse ourselves in the acceptance of Christ.

Our scars are a witness to the world. They are apart of our story. Healed wounds that are symbols that God has restored us.

Your circumstances may be black, but Scripture says that God is light. Trust in him, and he will give you a comeback. He will give you a fresh start. He will give you a change of heart and provide a powerful spiritual turnaround. He is with you in the midst of the valley of the shadow of death, and I invite you to praise him and trust his purposes for your life.

Simply by our proximity to Jesus, we can bring hope and life to people and places trapped in discouragement and despair.

If Jesus is here we are going to walk out of this place to live our lives to the glory of God the Father.

God, as much as I've needed your power to kill the Enemy, I need your power to fix me. It's not enough that power goes out from me; I need the power of God to work in me.

As an overflow of my life - the wake I leave behind with my little dash on earth - I want others to fall in love with Jesus and know of His great hope and purpose for their lives.

God's words trump all opinions, including mine, and in the end, I believe God's words lead to life.

The Word of God spoke into the dry bones. His breath filled them, put tendons (repair), and put skin on ... Then you will know I am God ... When Jesus comes that will happen.

It's horrifying and absurd to think that there are currently more slaves on earth than at any other time in human history.

Life only works when Jesus is everything and we are fully submitted to Him.

When we suffer, it's always for somebody's saving - that issue is always hanging in the balance. It's not all about me; it's all about Jesus becoming known in this broken world.

Don't dismiss the idea of a comeback if you're someone who is already saved and walking faithfully with the Lord. You may need a fresh start after you find that your dreams - holy dreams - have crashed into pieces at your feet.

The miraculous is always happening, even though we forget it or even when our faith is too small to trust God for miracles or even when we don't see the miracles occurring. God is always still at work, and God will always provide for us.

Worship starts with seeing something great and then reflecting it to the world. Let's see God so we can reflect God.

Mere nails, though pounded deep, were not enough to keep Jesus on the cross. But love was ... and love prevailed.

God's plans for your life far exceed the circumstances of your day.

The only wounds that define us are the wounds of Jesus Christ.

We can either choose to cling to starring roles in the little-bitty stories of us or opt to exchange our fleeting moment in the spotlight for a supporting role in the eternally beautiful epic that is the Story of God. I
